Hello everyone! I am very excited to announce Mypops very first wbo event! It will be held in the MyPops store in Eastgate mall in Hamilton! The mall has tons of parking and the store has been more than kind enough to provide prizing and a space to play. Due to a smaller sized store and event this event will be unranked. Prizing will still be incredible and it will still be very competitive. I can't wait to see everyone there.
Participant Cap:
Due to a small store and limited space this tournament will only be 16 players and will be first come first serve to those who sign up on wbo.
Tournament Information and Bracket:
All matches will be 3v3 format! The first stage will be dependent on numbers but will most likely be held as a swiss format and swiss rounds will be based on attendance. and will be scored first to 7 points to win. The top 8 participants will advance to the final stage. The final stage will be single elimination and will be scored first to 7 to win. The entire tournament bracket will be ran through challonge. Once all players have registered on wbo, I will create our bracket and send out the link through wbo or discord!!
Registration and Payment:
I will mention once again that the first 16 people that sign up on wbo will be entered into the tournament. The tournament fee is $10 and can be paid to the front desk at check-in at the tournament. All proceeds are going to help cover costs of prizing and to support the store to allow us to get more product and a space to play.
Equipment:
Due to a small area to play, the stadiums will be provided my pops along with the tables they are on. Two stadiums will be used for tournament play.
Banned Parts:
All fake parts and metal needle will be banned for this tournament!

We will also have assigned judges to each stadium with myself as the head judge and various WBO members as the other judges.

Some rules we will have:
- If participant is signed up but not at the tournament during play, a match loss will be given if said player has not arrived by the end of the last match of that round
- 3v3 format the entire time (players will set their three chosen beys from left to right in their respective deck boxes, and judges will check combos and confirm order before play starts)
- rock paper scissors will begin the match to decide side of the stadium players start on
- "No Contact" clause: If a player's Bey self KOs during a battle via an Over or Xtreme finish without making contact with their opponent's Bey, it is counted as a loss and their opponent receives 1 point.
- Stadiums will be flipped after every battle (the sides of the stadium will be different for you each time)
- First to 7 in first stage
- First to 7 in final stage
- 1 point for spin finish
- 2 points for over finish
- 2 points for burst finish
- 3 points for x finish
- judges will confirm deck orders in between each and every round
We will also have assigned judges to each stadium with myself as the head judge and various WBO members as the other judges.

- 1st place: Ux-10 customize set
- 2nd place: Ux-08 Silver wolf starter
- 3rd place: Ux-03 Wizard rod
