My Video Game thread: Making Video games

Ok so I have made a video game. Took me many months. Here it is. Tell me what you think about it! There is version 1 which has bugs and no power-ups, and version two which is table-round better

v1:  https://studio.code.org/projects/gamelab...YIe7KkfsGI

v2:  https://studio.code.org/projects/gamelab...NKW_GmBunI

Instructions for Both versions:

Arrow keys to move
Space to shoot
Hit the spaceships
If an enemy hits the red line, you take damage
You have 3 health points
Also the re-try button doesn't work. You must close the tab and re-open it (Ik, ik... still a work in progress)

Notes for version 2:
After a while, a power-up will fall from the sky
Longer afterwards, it gets harder

I like it, no issues

So, I'm bumping this up

hmmm seems poggers i heard making shooting games that have real graphics are pretty tricky, so good luck! 👌
Hey, great to see you've created a video game! I checked out version 1, and it's a promising start. The controls are smooth, and the concept is straightforward. It's challenging, especially when multiple enemies start appearing. I can see that it's a work in progress, as you mentioned, and I'm looking forward to trying version 2 to see the improvements. Keep up the good work!

HendrikMoa , that's awesome you tried it out! Game development is no easy feat, and it's cool to see someone sharing their work. Version 2 seems like it's come a long way from the first one, and it's exciting to see how the game evolves. Keep up the good work!

Speaking of games, have any of you tried your luck in the live dealer games ? It's a different kind of gaming experience, where you can interact with real dealers while playing. I've had some exciting moments there.
lambdawinner829 , I've dabbled in live dealer games before, and it's indeed a unique experience. It adds a social element to online gambling, which can be quite enjoyable.
