After a long hiatus, the Multi Madness series is back with the next much anticipated format - Wizard Random!

What is Wizard Random?

Consider this the 'flex format', an opportunity to test new and exciting concepts. This week the Wizard has chosen...Colour Clash!

Colour Clash awards buffs and bonuses to bladers who have matching colour parts within their deck.

Event Details:

Stadium: Takara Tomy BX-10

Tournament System:
First Stage - 6 Rounds of Swiss
Final Stage - Top 8 Double Elimination

Match Type:
First Stage - 3on3 format (First to 4 + Bonuses)
Final Stage - Deck format (First to 4 + Bonuses)

Colour Clash Bonuses:

Once you choose Colourless, a Colour or Rainbow, you cannot change your colour for the entire tournament. However, you can change parts between matches to acquire additional bonuses (for example you can borrow a Red Taper from a friend to use instead of your White Taper and now you have more matching Red beys in your deck).

You must have NO REPEATING PARTS within your deck.

Metal Needle = BANNED
CUSTOM Painted Beys - BANNED
Ratchet Swapping = LEGAL

Rulings:

Point Scoring
Spin Finish ➔ 1 Point
Over Finish ➔ 2 Points
Burst Finish ➔ 2 Points
Xtreme Finish ➔ 3 Points
Out-of-Bounds KO ➔ 3 Points

Simultaneous Over/Xtreme/OoB Finishes
Will always be considered a DRAW. Relaunch with the same beys and replay the battle.

Simultaneous Burst vs Over/Xtreme/OoB Finishes
Will be ruled as a burst win priority, down to the judge's discretion. The burst win priority ruling is tricky as sometimes after a bey has been KO'd into a pocket and the opposing bey rattles around the stadium it may burst. This situation is not a simultaneous finish because if the bey is still spinning and the bit/ratchet isn't fully separate, the bey is technically still considered active.
With the nature of Beyblade X it may be hard to discern when exactly the burst occurred. Recorded footage may be reviewed to help make a decision. If the aid of visual footage is not enough to make a confident decision, the judge may call a relaunch with the same beys to get a more absolute result.

Launching on top of the stadium shroud
Results in an automatic relaunch.

Launching directly into a pocket
Results in an automatic relaunch (this is to avoid anti-climatic battles).

A bey bounces ONCE off of the stadium floor and lands directly into a pocket from a launch
This will be a relaunch at judge's discretion.

A bey has travelled across any amount of the stadium floor or Xtreme line and enters a pocket due to the momentum
Should always be considered a self-KO (award 1 point to the victor and relaunch with the same beys).

Beys knocked onto the stadium shroud
Considered active until it stops spinning.

Beys bounces out of pocket after getting KO'd
Considered active as long as it is still spinning upon entering the stadium floor.

Bey A knocks Bey B into a pocket but Bey B is still spinning
At the judge's discretion whether to wait and see if it can enter the stadium again or to conclude the battle.

Bey A knocks Bey B into a pocket but Bey B is still spinning, and then Bey A enter a pocket and stops spinning
If Bey B makes it back to the stadium floor, Blader B is the victor of that battle.
If Bey B eventually stops spinning in the pocket, Blader A is the victor of that battle.
If a bey is still spinning in the pocket, the judge can decide to wait and see if it will re-enter the stadium. However spinning in a pocket does not mean the bey is active, unless it makes it onto the stadium floor again, it's still primarily considered KO'd.

Any additional rules that are not specified will follow the
WBO X Format Rules.
