i run a windows, my family have been windows only people. so i never used s a mac, i just stick with what i know best.

just last year i was running off of a windows 98, desktop, you cant pass up free stuff exspcially if it works. i dont like the new windows very much cant do the fun things i did on that oold computer but just tells me one thing. i dont see the big deal of upgrading a computer every year.

that and laptops suck! yet i have one.

I'm using an Apple laptop.
Sparta: Early on in the computer age Windows signed a contract (or some form of agreement) with IBM, at that time an already prominent figure in technology. With the help of IBM windows gained an extreme boost in popularity when time came for more advanced computers while Apple was, I don't know, sleeping? I do remember they bought some form of program which is extremely prominent now.
This is all shards of information which could well be wrong, but I think that is how it went down.

Also have a 2008 MacBookPro 17", but will be getting the new high powered 13" MacBookPro with OSX Lion for college this coming fall.

I can understand iPads and stuff.I don't use macs a lot of things you downlod usually dont have a mac version (Inculdeing some games) Id use a mac just to try something new but i will never purchase one (ill use my friends )
