Actually, this really is the cover for the first volume, and it was published in CoroCoro. Chances are that the real volume 1 will have a similar design.

Surely, this is not "some kid's random sketch or the make a vote b4 the new manga comes out". I am quite certain this is Adachi Takafumi's drawing.

Also, obviously, the first volume (at least the first chapter) was already released in CoroCoro. I do not know if you want to count that as "the initial manga".

Thanks Kai V. This looks like a straight copy of what we all know and love except they switched it up a bit. Kid with sinister looks and eye tattoos leading a group of evil beybladers in a warehouse hideout where they kidnap our hero's little best friend? First guy that seems to be a rough customer turning out to be a wimp? This is like a direct copy. With the minimalist of tweaks to it.

That said I did enjoy it quite a lot I never thought it'd be this cool.

I do not know what happens to that "mysterious" boy we saw in previous CoroCoro scans, but Kenta really is the one using Sagittario.

In my opinion, it makes a lot more sense that way, knowing Sagittario's performance.
