Winter's Prime II
July 1 marks the middle of Winter, and on July 1 2009 Omega and Novae Rog's first return to Beyblade since the early 2000's.

ENTRANCE FEES
The WBO charges an entry fee of $5 USD to any participant who does not have a Blader Passport. The fee is $5 USD regardless of region, since we live in Australia AUD is accepted (Australian Dollar.) Players who cannot pay this fee cannot enter WBO events UNLESS the player has a blader's passport.
The WBO is a nonprofit organization, and all money collected goes to things for the community; prizes, rewards, site maintenance, etc.

Blader Passport's
If you would like a blader's passport and for any reason cannot purchase one online, you can purchase one at the tournament for $10.00 USD or AUD. A blader's passport lasts for 365 days and allows free access to every tournament within that time frame.

What happens if it rains?

It shouldn't rain, but if it does there is a sheltered area nearby.

actually, on 10 news about 5 seconds ago said it's a 90% chance it will rain, question is, when, how hard and for how long.
Well we'll never know until it happens; there have been plenty of past tournaments where the news said it will rain but it never did. Besides, like I said earlier there is sheltered area.
who knows if their is a sydney tourney coming up soon
Don't ask here, look here to see if there's any discussion about an upcoming Sydney tournament. If not, try and contact a Sydney host or create your own tournament.
Guys I cant come, something has come up and partly because I don't want to be in a 100 meter radius of Samthecreep. Good luck 2 everyone Grin

EDIT: There is a small SMALL possibility i may show up. So put me as a maybe. But most likely i wont show up Unhappy
Sam messaged me saying he won't be attending as he has work, so don't worry about him hah. Good luck for tomorrow everyone Joyful_3
How big is the place that protects us from rain?

if omega is thinking of the same place im thinking of, almost double the size of the gazebo at lincoln park.
I think I am thinking of the same place as you Giraton haha. If anyone has a legal stadium, please bring it ! It's really appreciated.
For some reason I kept on thinking this tournament was on the 7th of July so I kinda missed it, sorry.

But I had something else on today as well so yeah.
you didn't miss out on anything omega, nova rog, tefez, giraton and raqazon left the park for no reason and went to hungry jakes and played there and 3 of us missed out >Unhappy and there were plenty of trees that were dry in the park

Why didn't you go to Hungry Jacks then? If that was the place that the tournament was going to be held in the case of rain, why stay at the park?
my dad would need to go to work and the walk was too long but he should have just found a tree that was dry but he didn't bother to look
A majority of the tourney attendees, wanted to go to hungry jacks as it was dry and warm, it was a 5 minute walk at the most.

We didn't leave for "no reason" the raining was so heavy it would have interfered significantly with bey battles.

Have to say one of the more entertaining tourneys I've been to in ages we did have some epic battles which omega managed to record.

=]
How come 3 of us didn't vote huh?
Are you actually trying to get somewhere with this JINX ? I've received two very smart mouth PM's from you and I've responded to both, yet you still try and complain.

The three of you obviously did "vote" to stay, but the others didn't. If the others voted to move to Hungry Jacks while you three didn't, that obviously means you didn't chose to move to there.

It was in fact raining quite hard and majority of us voted to move to Hungry Jacks, it just wouldn't work outside there even under a tree or the shelter the rain would still beat in. Stop complaining about it.

On another note, here are the winners:
Third Place: Novae Rog
Second Place: rayquazonX
First Place: Omega
that was quite fun, first tournament affected by rain and it turned out fun but not very practical. and now im only 1 gold L-drago to go before i have them all, the thing is it's distroy, the most expensive one of them all. i say good start to the school holidays. too bad you JINX and the chaos bros couldn't stay (though i could see your parents point of view). we so need to do more tournaments indoor, games laboratory would be a good place to start if we get permission (witch i can do, i might have a part time job there soon).
I think giraton should do more tournaments
Read the PM I sent you JINX.
Are there any plans to re-schedule?
There should be
