No Bey? No Prob!
Don't have any Beyblades from this series? No problem! We would be happy to lend a Beyblade and launcher to you to use for the duration of the event!

Side Notes
Please be aware of your belongings: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time: If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

All questions for this tournament may be asked in this thread!

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian

If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.

8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited

9. Terms of Service

All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

how do you pay to go into tournaments, and is there a way you could bring someone else to watch you?

You pay the tournamnet fee in cash to the host and you can bring people to watch if you want
Happy Friday, everyone! Just a friendly reminder that this event is tomorrow. Don't forget that if you think you will need to borrow equipment or will be running a bit late to please send me a PM to let me know.

Hope to see everyone tomorrow!
How'd it go?
1st: Blaze Wheeler
2nd: Angry Face
3rd: Tie between Victor Cruz and theHELLbend

Our second club format event at Mishap ran well! There were just six of us who played RR Deck, but after having played Burst exclusively for months, MFB matches felt absurdly long. Good thing next month's event at Star City Anime is Burst; I'm not sure I'll run another MFB tournament for awhile, haha.

Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday, and thanks to Mishap Games again as always! Next month's event details are already posted, so be sure to check them out.

We need to come up with some cooler names, the tourney name sounds like a Disney movie title lol. Still nice to see some mfb tourneys around.

Yo Angry Face always finds the best puns and makes the best graphics to match them, what are you saying.

Well yes, but you got to have humour too hah. And yes, it was clearly for Valentine's Day.
(Jan. 25, 2017  5:06 PM)DAJ Wrote: You Oh my God, another damn metal fight limited tourney. Are you kidding me? I mean I get it a balanced metagame but here's why it sucks:

1) boring af (in comparison) 4d beyblades are much more interesting and it's a lot better seeing what combos people have made with them and battle them rather than the others.

2) all you really have to do to ban the op things is ban duo, phantom, and since they would be banned, then a basalt should also be banned cause it would be op without phantom and duo (even though I found a combo that could actually outlast and beat a duo 230 or basalt 230 combo and it's not phantom) and it's all good.

3) Hasbro duo would win anyway: all you have to do is add a metal face and some other defensive thing and it would be the same tourney as a non limited tourney where duo ends up winning since boost drive is banned well.

I mean a metal fight limited would be cool if hasbro duo would be banned. I have both the hasbro takara tomy duos so don't think i have lost to that combo a lot or something; in fact I have not even competed in a metal fight limited tourney but I saw a post that this person won 4 tourneys in a row with a hasbro    Duo and tested it.

It was such a let down when I made an amazing metal combo then found out most tourneys are limited and my bey was banned because it used Death like wth it can be beaten by a good attack type

Yes, but those Attack types that can beat it are also banned hah. Unfortunately for you, that is not what the goal of the Limited format is.

I do wish the natural formats could be used most of the time, but there are a lot of fans of the Limited format.

i also think that, but it is mainly because it is almost always used with BD145 which is way to OP
