So hey hey! Another photography contest is up and running! I realized people loved them a lot and might want another one! So I made one! Now some rules are the same.

• Photographs must contain at least one real Hasbro, Takara-Tomy, or SonoKong manufactured Beyblade. No exceptions!
  
• Limit one entry per person! Your first entry will be the only one that's considered, so work hard on it!
  The WBO Committee isn't eligible. Meh.
  
• You have until 11:59 PM EST Saturday, August 16th, 2014 to submit your photograph. Any entries after that will be disqualified!
  
• Post PM your entries in this thread! (You can also talk about the contest, ideas, or whatever in this thread as well!) However, you cannot post drafts of your entry and ask for feedback!
  
• Editing is allowed, but only small edits, such as lighting changes and cropping. Nothing to complete change he photo, because this is a Photography Contest!
  

In addition to that, the judging format will be different. Instead of me individually judging I will put up entries with a poll and the people will be voting! If we get more then 20 entrants then I will have4 separate blocks in which people will be voting, and the winner of each block will move on to the finals (another block of 4 finalists).

I used it in the official contest but I love it so I'll use it again.


Be sure to put my description there too , it explains it. The discription: this picture is showing three overpowered (Genbull Dragooon F230GCF , Libra D125RF and MF basalt kerbecs BD145CS) combos (In the stadium) towering over opponents that fell to their knees in an attempt to stop their rampage. The combos are Gravity Perseus attack BD145XF for basalt, Burn Cancer 145WD for libra and Salamander Reviser E230MB for dragooon. Notice that all the counter attempt beyblades have dragon themed faces.

Also you don't have to post if your entering, because I'm not making a list of people entering. Only a list of people who have entered. PM your picture and then you are in the contest, not before.

Isn't the the point of private messaging contest entries to the host to keep the entrants anonymous and to reduce the chances of voter bias? In the case of a regular photography contest judged by the committee, voter bias shouldn't exist, so most participants just post their entries publicly. But in a contest where the winner is determined by a public poll, voter bias can definitely occur as the result a lack of participant anonymity.

At least if participants PM their entries to the host, there's no need to worry about possible post edits or unseen cheating when a mod or host is absent/offline. And if somebody were really keen on receiving feedback on his photo, then he could always post it after first PM'ing it to the host. Things stay simple and secure.
