Looking for new staff!

O.K now that I am not a New Member and all.

I come onto the forums everyday and do like to post. I never post anything bad about anything or anyone. I have lots of free time so I could keep an eye on almost every thread and post for anything bad that is not suppose to be there. If it helps I have a great imagination (hope I spelt that right) so if you want anything cool done then I could get right on it.

I don't really have much beyblade knowledge but hope to have a lot in the future and maybe, just maybe becoming a staff member will help with that.

I believe that is it and I won't be shocked or unhappy if I get shoot down completely. All that matters is that I tried.
Yeah Roy, I will just be completely honest and say that I just don't know you well enough and you haven't contributed enough yet. I sincerely appreciate the application, though.
Here goes my shot at this...

Formal Application for Moderator of Beywiki Forums.

Anyway, I've basically gotten my beyblading spirit revived ever since the new blades were announced, and I'm trying to work myself back into game shape, relearning things about bey from the previous generations and working hard to get myself full up to speed on the new beys, although to be honest I'm probably just going to concentrate really hard on the new series. My theory, while a bit rusty, is still going to be my strong point, and I'm pretty confident in that area right now.

I'm not as active as I'd like to be, partly due to school and partly due to other commitments. I've been posting on the beythreads mostly, ignoring OT and other places because I'm really here just for the beyblade, I see most of you online on AIM/MSN/Facebook or talk through PM's here, and when I do post I usually try to post knowledge on bey or pushing a certain area of thought when it comes to beytheory.

As for my qualifications, you know my past moderating experiences at OtC, and since then I've been a local forum mod at Marriland Pokemon forums (20116 registered users (14212 inactive users). There, I have powers over Pokemon Strategy, Pokemon General, and Pokemon battling (I went there for pokemon theory and pokemon theory only, I guess this will be my role here as well?).

Anyway, I see that things against me are New Member, Rust, lack of posting, and such. But I figured I might as well apply now and have this filed away so that I can reference it when we get a bump from international releases.

Well theres always next time and I like it when someone is completely honest and likes to speek his mind.
I won't bother padding my resume with essay formats or extrapolated sentences. Tongue_out So... moderate? Eh, why not? I'm online and around here pretty often. I've got plenty of experience with anti-intelligence forum moderation; am still running my own forum RP and moderating another high-traffic forum. I'm not afraid to dole out punishment when needed, and I can be tolerant where appropriate. I've been an actively avid blader and member of the community since Anime North 2003; am planning to jump right into the new Metal Fight System upon release. I'm not a top-skilled blader, far from it, but I've won my share of tournaments and have a pretty rounded out collection.
Here goes nothing:

I think I'd be goos for staff because I have experience of being and admin and moderator. I was MOD on Warai Dansei before that died out. I am Admin on Megaman Horizons and BeyRevolution. I've been blading for exactly 6 years and 5 days. (I know because I first got into beyblading on my birthday 6 years ago)
I know a bit of HTML and CSS. I have gotten 1st place twice and 3rd place once in local neighborhood tournaments.
I can blade pretty well and thats about it!
If the site picks up and we get in tons of members i'd be glad to step in as a mod, seeing im in a different Timezone i could moderate while you guys are sleeping and so on, so basically the site would be constantly watched by Moderators and so on, I've moderated forums before so I do have some experience on that side don't really muck around/ let the power get to me will always try to help out people any ways possible.

Experience being in a different time zone tells me nothing much happens most of the time.
I know I haven't been here long but the atmosphere here is amazing, I would love to be a staff member or something like that, My reasons, Every time i go on a Forum i could be there for years be tight with the mods and the creator of the Forums but they are always full on staff, This is my chance to show them that i can be a good Mod. Joyful_3

Please Give me that chance.
If you're still looking for staff, I'd be glad to help out in a small way. :)

Even though Nic has pointed out the lack of activity in non American and Canadian timezones, it's still nice to have a hawk watching over the forum when the majority of the staff isn't around. I'm not into being tyrannical or flying off on a power trip, but if it would help, I could provide moderation for when others aren't here to pick up on it.

I'm also hoping to help out with the Wiki more (I want to leave the advanced article writing to the people who are more experienced) in the form of photography; I'd love to provide high quality pictures of blades or parts to keep the Wiki looking professional and fun to read. I'm proficient in Photoshop and would be glad to make diagrams and the likes to help out new players.

Haha your case is fine! And you'll make a great mod too, I think; you're responsible and all that other useful personality traits!

When I said about the time zones, I'm talking about how annoying it is to get back and find that all the fun and excitement has just ended Pinching_eyes

As long as she is not cheating.
Alice has always been good at balancing the rest of us out. I'll think about it.

I back this application 100%.
Make Alice a mod.

She's like a mother hen.
Mother....Hen? Odd, but if everyone wants her to be a mod then I do too. Joyful_3
Well I think that Alice would make a good mod.

By the way I was joking about the cheating thing of course.
Yeah, I think Alice would be a great addition to the staff team.
I would like to be a staff, but if I cant i would like to help as much as possible

no you can't
The only people receiving staff positions will be those who Brad has known for years and trusts a lot.

Almost everyone here has been in a forum community with each other for the last 5 years or so.
