SATURDAY, AUGUST 29, 12PM
London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - London, UK
This is at the park used for the London 2012 Olympic Games!
BURST FORMAT

From seemingly out of nowhere, the third generation of Beyblade has burst onto the scene!. London Bladers, this is your chance to get a first hand opportunity to try out the new Beyblades from this exciting, explosive new series, receive one for yourself to take home, and trade parts with other players to build the best Beyblade you can!

First 7 Participants get a brand new Beyblade to use and take home!
And listen, we're not asking for those products back at the end, no way! Those are really gifts for the community! The first 7 Bladers to arrive at the tournament will randomly pick one Layer, one Disk, and one Driver from the Beyblade Burst items shipped to the host, and leave with it at the end!!

What happens if there are more than seven players, do you ask? Quite simply, these first seven, lucky Bladers will be asked to share with the players who came in later to the event when they are not playing in an official battle with it already. Their Beyblade will be returned at the end, because the host will have written down who got what.

Mandatory $5 Entry Fee = More Beyblade Burst Events + Extra Credits!
To help subsidize the high cost of importing some of the new Beyblade Burst items from Japan, a mandatory £4 entry fee will be imposed on all Beyblade Bursts Onto The Scene events, regardless of whether or not a participant has a Blader Passport (if you wish to purchase a Blader Passport, the total cost would be £10 at a Beyblade Bursts Onto The Scene event), and there will be no prize reimbursement. We hope that everyone can understand this! The more funds we have, the more we can afford to do for the community in the future! We're actually going to be losing money despite this entry fee, and for those that receive a Beyblade, it will be much cheaper to get one that way than it would be to import one yourself (although we certainly hope you all do this after playing with them!). However, to show our appreciation for your cooperation and support in helping to fund the championship, all participants in Qualifier Series tournaments will receive the following:
  • +1 Extra Credit to be used for prizes from our awesome Blader Rewards, on top of whatever they would have normally earned.
  • New Passport Holders will earn +2 Extra Credits, rather than +1, 2 Face Boosters from the list above, rather than just 1.

"But what about my BeyPoints? I've never played Beyblade Burst!"
No problem! The first Beyblade Event in every region will not count towards the BeyPoint System. Think of it as an opportunity to experiment and just focus on having fun with the new series.

Of course however, there will also be Faces and Credits to play for. Wink

What is Beyblade Burst?
Beyblade Burst is the brand new, third generation of Beyblade by TAKARA-TOMY! It is set to launch in July 2015 in Japan. If you are not familiar with Beyblade Burst, please take a look at the Beywiki article covering it: http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php?...lade_Burst

And be sure to check the Beyblade Burst - Bey News Forum Thread for the latest news on the series as it is announced.

I may be able to attend, if the trains are running!
To add, I’ll be arriving at Stratford International.. if that’s where we’ll be meeting?

Stratford International is kinda next door. Head for Stratford station or walk to Westfield Stratford and to the Stratford station entrance. Please let us know if you get lost by PM.

This makes me excited. Hope to see some pics and vids!

If anyone doesn't want their face on youtube I can take the vid down and blur it (prefer not to though xD)

Haven't got any vids of games though. Tongue_out
Awesome day guys! Glad everyone managed to make it. Lots of lessons learnt with our new format especially for me and my launching! Good to see old and new faces back! on that note I think it's safe to say London is officially back... Unfortunately we'll now need to be more creative with our event names Wink
Sounds like the event was really fun, that's good to hear. I hope that this is the event that gets London having events again!

Nice video! Smile

Also, who dyed their Spriggan wheel?! :o
Awesome video, LeeDraciel. Smile

I got so hyped when I saw Kerbeus Heavy Accel in the finals! I think it was Manicben who used it, but whoever it was, how did it seem to fare for you? Do you find it better than the more stationary Kerbeus Heavy Defense?

and lol at the Blader that yelled out ''YEAH, KFC'' at the end of RAW's video
Report:

Twas a good day in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. After everyone finally found the meeting spot we set off to find a patch of grass to sit on at Ultras request. Thus the tournament began.
As the block round robins drew to a close, rain started to drip down, making the finals a rush. We finished the closing ceremony just before the rain started coming down.
As for the finalists:

4th - guardianemperor
3rd - Sajjan V
2nd - LeeDraciel
1st - Manicben

Lo behold! Manicben has placed at his own tournament, and for the first time in any! Though some would say that that's unfair due to myself having attended the Toronto Burst event.

We met many old and new faces from days gone by and more recent times. Good competitive yet constructive and respectful atmosphere. We had a turnout of 16 people, with a last minute turn up by Ultra who had arrived from America earlier today.

We shall return in September with metal fight beyblade. Look forward to that and more excited secret stuff from your London WBO representatives.

Apologies for the double post but to answer some questions...

If you remember, Kei used it and I find it very successful. I only lost my first match and it might have been luck that won me all the rest. But Kerbeus Heavy Accel is a great combo imo. Kerbeus Heavy Defense is still good for countering attack combos, but it got bursted a few times.

To Hato, LeeDraciel dyed his Spriggan black and dyed hus ragnaruk transparent blue. Both look sick irl.
@[LeeDraciel], what did you use to dye it? Maybe do a tutorial? Wink

Glad the tournament went well!! Grin
What was the final turnout?

I've done a tutorial, just need to edit it and it will be up.
I hope it was a good battle for you guys! unfortunately I'm in the U.S but I would have been there if I could Grin
Brad, it was 16 participants, the most we have had since 2013!

And thanks Hornet, if you are ever in the UK (and anyone else from the WBO too lol), we can try to hold an event.

Great turnout! Congrats!
Great Event! it was great to test out the new burst series and play with the new burst format...
I mange to record some of my own footage but anyone that has footage could you please contact me so that you can send me some of the footage so I may edit it into a video, please and thankyou
I am looking forward to the MFB tournament in September and hopefully we manage to maintain that 16 participant turnout!^-^
It would also be great if some of the footge could be used exclusively for BeyChannel, to really show that London is back in action !
