Let’s Talk About School

I miss elementary school. In elementary school, I could talk freely about Beyblade and Star Wars. Things weren't about popularity or fashion. My birthday is in a few months and I’m gonna be officially a teenager. Dang, time goes by fast. (It’s also been over 2 years since I joined the WBO, wow!)

Same! I loved elementary school. I used to take my Galaxy Pegasus and lose every time because we played on tile floors. I was one of the biggest star wars nerds and it was great. One time we had the great idea to take our beys with tips we didn't care about and play on the blacktop and slides, and I had so much fun. I used to actually like school when I didn't have to think about the future and live up to expectations.

We used to make and battle LEGO beyblades.

I never got into that, but at one point I started developing a launcher similar to a gear multiplier.
I have a chance to write about all the bullying this year and I get to send it to the founder of the school. Writing about it is opening up some memories that I’d rather forget...
Finally finished summer school Smile

My school used to have a bey club, but it always closes down during flu season.
I finished finals a week ago and have been trying to create a Achilles combo to beat Rage

What's the closest you got to winning with the combo?

This might be off the main subject of this thread, but the closest thing I have is Lord Achilles wheel Mobius.

Anyone got tips for an incoming freshman?
I have a class in about an hour. The actual academics isn’t useful at all, as it’s intended for the students not in the advanced classes. It’s kinda painful, so I normally fidget with Beyblades. But the after part is fun. We talk about fandoms.

At least it’ll pass time while waiting for my Rage to arrive.
I remember once in 4th grade I had brought my impressive MFB collection to my school (including my IR spin ones which is now valued at $109.99) and during the bus ride to the school I decided to show them off and suddenly the bus shook and my Meteo L-drago IR control fell out of my hands, so a kid took it and when I said to give it back he refused. Now I would have told the bus driver or a teacher, but there was a rule against toys so I didn’t tell on the kid. In the end I never got it back and will never get it back since the kid moved to California the next day.

Im assuming high school freshman so here goes

* If provided a map, make use of it! High school can be a pretty big place, so try to know where every class is. Walking into the wrong one is awkward
* Find a friend or two or meet up on the first day. Whenever a new year starts for me, Id hit up my friend group and check if theyre available for hanging out in the morning. Some friends may be busy with early classes, etc., and thats okay! Walking with a close classmate and having a short talk with them when you arrive can make you feel better
** Due to the ongoing pandemic, you can schedule a group voicecall or text a friend about how they feel at their own school
* Its okay to be intimidated! Youll get used to it soon. Especially when the pandemic may keep more people at home, everyone’s comfort spot
* Keep your work habits on. Self-explanatory. Procrastinating more than usual wont go well

Maybe try to find some kids with common interests with you? There’s always people looking for new friends. I assume you have tablemates/desk partners? Maybe those kids will be friendly.

Well, I can relate. There’s always a few kids that are nice though. Are there any kids that are nice to you but you aren’t that good friends with them?

All of them expect one but I'm kinda mad at him cause he stole my favorite beyblade
