Let’s Talk About School

Its not about parents. Its about competition. In asian countries the number of students competing for the seat is too much; we really cannot afford t o loose a mark too. A difference of 1 mark makes a difference of 1000 in ranks lol. This is the case in india at least.

Wow, that sounds pretty tough. And I thought US schooling was pretty tough enough, yikes

There is a popular saying in india; It is easier to get in MIT as compared to IIT( the premier science institute); Many people who cant get into IIT actually go abroad to study as it is easier to go abroad. That is the sad part of the education system here. Too much competition. there is a exam in which every year a million students attempt. (its one of the hardest exams in the world called the JEE Mains and Advanced)

That hit right home, and I'm not even Asian. The education system in Egypt is a hot mess rn..
Doing a 35 question math test rn

I studied pretty good for the math test, submitted it, and i don't know the grade of the test rn prob will find out next week
Just finished a Geometry test now. The drawings are 10 times harder than the questions themselves (almost missed the deadline because of them), and I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

All kinds of Maths suck this year if you ask me.
Today at school, (we do hybrid) our class did a physics experiment where we cut out a circle with black and white markings, (I forgot what they're called.) Anyway, we stuck a pushpin through the center and when we spin them, it shows different colors. When I spun mine, I yelled "LET IT RIP!" and the whole class stared at me. It was funny.

(I think it's called the Visible Spectrum experiment or something, not sure)
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call a true Blader.
My school is on a computer. And I hate my life while I am using it.

You don’t have in school opportunities?
I had to do test for all of my classes all of them had at least 40 questions
So I'm physically back in school next week again. And I got assessments to do since they cancelled our exams.

My school is completely on home one a computer. Me and my family aren't super paranoid about Covid-19, and we don't freak out about it, but we know it's a danger and such. But that's not even why. The answer to that is my parents don't think it's healthy for us to go to In-Person class with the masks and the sign-in/sign-outs and such. It's just too stressful, especially for my three little brothers.
