Side Notes
Please be aware of your belongings: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time: The tournament will begin promptly at 12:00 PM and is expected to run for about 4 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

All questions about this tournament may be asked in this thread.

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

I had a great time! I even got to take a good look Kukulcan ehehehehe~ Smile
Won't have time to finish up the full results and report tonight because I have an early morning flight, but:

1st Place: Bey Basher
2nd Place: Wombat
3rd Place: Ardmore Bladers
4th Place: Common Pickle
Top 8: eli11192006, Beygearshift7, AndyHG, phoenix613

We had a total of 68 participants, and about 6 or 7 more people who unfortunately showed up a little too late to join in. The tournament finished up in a little under 6 hours, which wouldn't have been possible without AndyHG, Common Pickle, Ardmore Bladers, and Jimmyjazz39 to help me out by judging matches so I could manage the bracket and answer questions.

Special thanks to AndyHG, and Hyper xeno for donating prizes for the raffle, and SparerSquash and his dad for letting me use their megaphone. That definitely helped with announcing the matches to everyone and keeping everything running smoothly.
Hi All! Spin's Mom here. Just want to say, WOW! I am so glad we made the trip from Ohio, Spin found his people for sure! I enjoyed meeting all of you and seeing the excitement on all the kiddos faces and watching them all interact face to face! We made it home safe around midnight.....until next time! Thank you Wombat for a well run and organized event~I was impressed with how you handled all the chaos, well done kiddo!

I would probably refrain from posting a phone number on a public forum.

Congrats to the winners!
It was very exciting to battle with all of the Baybladeres! I could not enter the top 8 and I realized I need more practice!!!

Thank you Wombat and judges. I can not wait for the next battle!
Hello!!!! Thank you all for making my first tournament experience super fun! I've never thought about playing competitively, and I was mostly dragged into this, but I had a lot of fun and I'm definitely considering joining another in the future.
I also wanted to make a shout out to everyone who enjoyed my Shu cosplay and wanted to battle me because of it. I got to learn a lot more about the game by playing against so many of you, and I'll definitely be using what I've learned for other events.

Bey Basher and Bey Destroyer's dad here
Thanks Wombat for all the work you did to put this tournament together. It takes a lot of organization and patience to put something like this together and manage all the kids (and parents)! Thanks also to the judges. Bey Basher had a great time hanging out with fellow Philly bladers Ardmore Bladers and Common Pickle. The weather was a little windy and chilly, but it sure  didn't deter a great turnout.
It was an unexpected thrill for Bey Basher to win; this was his second tournament and he came in with the goal to make it to the semifinals. I'm sure he's enjoying his bragging rights today with his second grade friends.
Thanks again and see you at the next one!
