Side Notes
Please be aware of your belongings: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time: The tournament will begin promptly at 12:00 PM and is expected to run for about 4 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

All questions about this tournament may be asked in this thread.

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian

If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.

8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited

Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

9. Terms of Service

All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

My launcher broke

I now need another one
You can use my long winger with caribiner
(Feb. 21, 2018  12:11 AM)Zayd1254 Wrote: Whats that?

The long winder is an extended Winder and the carabiner is a grip for the launcher
It's Alter chronos.8M.W.

I think that $15 is a little bit too much, wouldn't you say?
Wish I could attend but I'm broke and don't live in Pennsylvania. Also don't have any good combos lol. Two questions though. Has there ever been a tournament in Illinois, and if you host a tournament can you participate in your own tournament?

I would say this would be the area to find out on Illinois
https://worldbeyblade.org/Forum-North-America

and hosts can play in their own tournaments
does anyone know if maxium garuda was unbanned
Yes, it was unbanned a few weeks ago!
Looks like we've hit 41 players registered, so this is looking to be a pretty large event! With that in mind, I do have a few announcements regarding that:

Plan to arrive somewhere between 11 AM and 12 PM. The tournament will begin at noon, and any players who arrive after that without posting in this thread or informing me ahead of time risk being disqualified from the tournament. Arriving early will also give you plenty of time to have practice battles against other Bladers before the tournament begins.

Expect an all-day event. Naturally, as the amount of players in a tournament increases, so does the time needed to organize and run the tournament. With this many players registered, I would expect around a 4 to 5 hour event.

If you must leave early, please inform me or one of the judges. With the previous point in mind, it is understandable if you can't put aside an entire afternoon for the tournament and need to leave early. If you must, please let myself or one of the other judges (I will announce who they are at the beginning of the event) know, as this will make managing the tournament easier.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Like Yami said, it's a prize pool - the prizes are for the Top 4, but in no particular order. First place just gets first pick, second gets second pick, etc. You would need to win 1st place to be guaranteed Twin Nemesis, but if you don't, there's still a chance you could win it if you're in the Top 4 and no one chooses it before you.

Btw, why do you say " go shoot" and not " let it rip"?

"Go Shoot" is the battle cry in the Japanese dubbed anime. Hasbro probably changed it due to copyright reasons.
Are Hasbro and Takara Tomy parts/rippers compatible?

I might only Bring one beyblade cause I don’t want to lose a couple of beyblades but what if my beyblade broke?
(Feb. 24, 2018  1:27 AM)Isaias08 Wrote: Are Hasbro and Takara Tomy parts/rippers compatible?

All Launchers are compatible between brands as long as they match the spin direction (so for example, you couldn't use Fafnir F3 with a Sword Launcher), and all Disks are compatible as well since this is both Takara and Hasbro format. The only restriction is that you can't use a Hasbro Energy Layer with a Takara Tomy Driver, or a Takara Tomy Layer with a Hasbro Performance Tip.

That's fine. I'm planning to be there at around 11am as well.

The rankings? They've been frozen since November 2016. The participant list for this tournament isn't stuck, and will probably continue to grow over the next 2 weeks though.

If your Beyblade breaks and you don't have another copy of the broken part to replace it with, it's an automatic loss for the whole battle. In the event that does happen, chances are someone would be willing to lend you a duplicate part until your battle was over so you wouldn't have to take an automatic loss.
The only god beys I have are god Valkyrie drain fafnir satomb and tempest wyvron
