Is this a midfake

I recently learned about midfakes.  I bought a new L drago destructor since my old one was a midfake-A013, no rubber just soft plastic.
I tried to do extensive research, but there was little information other than work done by the community.  correct me if I am wrong, but LDD released on april 23 2011, and the code on my LDD is D2211 which closely matches.  it also has rubber, but the FConfused tip has normal screws.(TT uses triangles) and I have a mold 2 tip- according to the wikis, it was used by sonokong, not TT.

so is my L drago destructor a midfake or just a fake? it is also of a darker color than my midfake, instead of grey, it is a dark grey color

feel free to correct any incorrect claims and feel free to share all your knowledge of midfakes.  I think that there should be more information about this.

also, my brother got a F1512 phantom orion, IDK if thats a midfake.
Pictures will be needed to determine.

the metal frame is a dark grey, like the images on fandom, and the screws on F:S are normal, not triangular.  the F:S is also mold 2 not mold 1 as I stated before

Why everybody says « midfake » ? It’s not fake Bey ! I have lot of Bey and if you want to know if it’s a fake Bey or not, check under the Fusion Wheel and you’ll see a code like « AA2 » and the code can confirm that is a real Bey.

its called a midfake because it isn't from the original 2008-2012 product line.  they are basically high quality fakes, with no lead and made(from what I've heard in taiwan) with takara tomy molds, but with improper cuts and different alloys.  (unconfirmed)some of their parts are also rejected TT parts
Yes D2211 is one of the newer midfake codes they’ve been using. F1512 is also a midfake code, but I can’t confirm it to be one for Phantom Orion. If the bigger circles on the metal wheel are ovals and the squares on it are big then it is midfake.

The ones that start next to the smaller circle on the metal wheel

I can confirm that the "midfake" are a real Beyblade.

how?  what makes them "official"
TT stopped making MFB in 2012 yet the box codes read A013 or something-14
and there are also improper codes like D2211- ones that aren't from real beyblades

Having mold numbers like AA2 do not "confirm" that a Beyblade is real, they mean nothing. Fakes can replicate that detail very easily, and it was even on much lower quality fakes like Rapidity Beys at one point. You can actually use mold numbers to determine which is fake. Mold numbers on "midfakes" are in a different font than authentic Beyblades. If you compare the fonts, the "midfake" font is thinner and taller.

Like 64unintelligent said, "midfakes" are just fakes with lower quality than authentic.

Are you able to put it on a table and separate the parts out? It's hard to tell with those two photos.

If you have a picture of the box and where it says "D2211", that'd probably help as well. It's entirely possible as well that someone just swapped a fake into a real box.

Considering that you haven't noticed the prior detail on the wheel I'd say it's fine. But I'd still send pictures just to be sure.

the box looks real, and my mom can read Japanese.
in the photo of the box, the text is indiscernible

The pics are still too blurry to tell, sorry. The dark grey looks fine to me though - you can compare yours to the ones on this page.
