Introductory Beyblade X Tournament - Columbus B-Pit
Columbus, Georgia X Format Unranked
01:00 PM on 04/26/2025

Hey there, Columbus GA Bladers!
Our first official event is NOW coming up!! The Beyblade X Introductory Tournament will be held at Hobbytown Uptown on the 26th of April!!
Date: April 26th, 2025
Time: 1:00PM Start, 1:45PM Registration close/Tournament start
Location: Hobbytown Uptown, 1029 Broadway, Columbus, GA 31901 (Store is near the fountain)
New to Beyblade X? New to Beyblade in general? Haven't played since the plastic generation? Haven't heard the name before?? ANY and ALL are welcome to come experience Beyblade X!
While all are welcome, the tournament will be held in Deck format; meaning bladers must have 3 different beys with no repeating parts. There will be spare parts in VERY limited quantity (in the event that they are needed), but PLEASE make best efforts to have 3 beys of your own! Beys can be found at many retail stores nearby! Loaned parts are first come, first serve basis!
First Stage: Deck Format, Swiss (expected 5 rounds), First to 5 points
Finals Stage: Deck Format, Single Elimination, First to 7 points
Stadium: Hasbro X-treme Stadium
Tournament Player Cap: 24
Out-of-bounds over finish
The "Metal Needle (MN)" bit may not be used at this event; in order to preserve stadiums.
What is Deck Format?:
Deck format tournaments require each blader to present 3 beys, with no repeating parts, as their "deck". The bladers then turn around and attach their first bey to their launcher in secret. Players battle, with points being rewarded to the winner (Spin Finish= 1 point, Burst Finish/Over Finish=2 points, X-treme Finish= 3 points). The loser of the battle then decides if they would like beys to be swapped. If they choose to swap, the winner of the previous battle will select their bey and show the previous loser (This can be the same bey they just used). The loser can then select their new bey from their deck (This can also be the same bey they just used). Battles continue in this fashion until a blader reaches 5 points; in which case they are the winner! This will be upped to 7 points for finals matches in the tournament. (Beyblade X Rulebook - Match Types)
I personally plan to have 4 Hasbro X-Treme Battle Set Stadiums to use for the tournament, but if anyone is willing to bring theirs and allow it to be used for tournament matches it would be HEAVILY appreciated!!
Hobbytown Uptown does not have any direct association with Columbus B-Pit!!! They've simply been gracious and AWESOME enough to host our first event!! So PLEASE check out their incredible shop!
