Internet Connection Speed (speedtest.net) post your results

Hello All,
Post results of your speed tests here and some info on your ISP etc. This may come in handy for anyone looking for what ISP to go for.
Mine is:

Make sure to do both tests, Speed Test and Ping Test as both a very important and determine the quality of your connection.

BTW this is by wireless connection i'm about 20 - 30 metres from my router! State if yours is wireless or wired.

I recently switched from BT to Virgin Media and it was a great switch, I was getting 2mb down and 0.30 up even though I was a 30mb deal, that proves how much of a difference fibre optic makes as in distance from the exchange doesn't mean a thing. I recommend Virgin since I got it on Tuesday I haven't had a problem. 5 out of 5.

Those are great,OMG I would love your upload speed because of my youtube vids but mine is still decent, your jitter is excellent do you use a normal line or fibre optic?

Haha, I really have no idea, but I think it's fiber optics, since all I hear in the Verizon commercials are "fiber optics!", and I have Verizon.

Ahh that's good then, jheeze your upload speed is amazing, UK upload speeds are limited by government I heard anyway that's why mine isn't high like my download speed. BTW this is by wireless connection i'm about 20 - 30 metres from my router!

Naitrax you should talk to your ISP about those speeds if they're promising higher.

ISP is your internet service provider yours is EXETEL ask your parents to call them because your speed is soo slow, try using Google chrome its faster won't change your speeds but its smoother pages will come up faster.

We call em heaps but they dont do anything about it. Once they cut our internet for 2 weeks. It was like hell for me being one of those people who like to spend lots of time online. Anyway dad wont let us stop using them.

Well, my test results are-
Ping- 83ms
Download- 0.52 Mbps
Upload- 0.35 Mbps

Too slow, I suppose...

Yeah on the site click forum link after the test is done then click copy and the paste it here and it will come up as an image.

The internet here in Australia isn't as fast but I think it's still pretty good as I'm using a WiFi connection.
I'll do a proper test tomorrow. ><
But damn NoodooSoup that upload is insanely fast and Galaxxy, I like your down speed. (:

Higher the download/upload, the better. Lower the ping, the better. xD
You just have to know if you're getting what you pay for ...

Yeah lool lower the jitter and packet loss also my parent paid for 4 years for 30mb i got 2 soo like blah said make sure you get what you pay for.
