Just a little thing that bugs me, I wish that the default of subscribing to threads when you post a reply wasn't set to subscribe to it. It like spams up my email, rofl. Of course I never use my email so... Yeah.
If you could change or add one thing to the WBO ...

It is definitely not automatically set to that. You must have done something wrong at some point.
More Tournament In Austin, Texas :3
If I could add or change one thing... Hmm.
Well - If possible, I would add a quiz/test with questions regarding the WBO. Users would have to take and pass this test with a high enough score. The test would have different questions regarding both Beyblade and site/posting rules... along with random facts and questions about parts/articles that can be found in the BeyWiki. This would be a fun way for new users to explore the site, take in the rules, and find out answers by themselves.
But that's just something I would add if I personally could. LOL - Many might find it tedious.
I find the site excellent and well-put together. I get a little confused on navigation sometimes, but I'm still learning.

i kinda like that idea..with a bit modification...since most of face contest are mainly about video, drawings of parts etc...why dont we make a face contest using a quiz..the top scorer will get faces as priza..XD...
Midoriyama I personally too, like that idea. And making sure they know the rules by taking that quiz, would make all of the carpy threads dissapear! Oooohhh I like your idea too benjohadi, I'd so take that quiz. The more faces, the better! I'm gonna ask for an antique face sometime soon.
yeah..questions mainly about beyblade..during the period of the quiz, beywiki would be disable..so no one can find answer while taking the quiz..XD XD
I would screenshot every page before they closed it down, and name them, so I can use them for reference haha.

This assumes that the info on the Beywiki is true.
Which it is no? All info on Beywiki has to be approved as correct, and sufficient enough, to even be posted there. I'm pretty sure Beywiki is 99.9% accurate
Now if we're talking about BeyWIKIA, then this is a whole different conversation

I don't deny that it serves its purpose very well. But I'd like to take other sources to be more accurate.
Can it not say were you are? It's like you have no privacy.
I think he's saying he wants the location section of the profile page removed so we can have privacy. I really hope he isn't that stupid, but I wouldn't be surprised, given his posts (and signature).
Posts in the "welcome" section should not count towards a uswers post count, or whatever, or it should be made clearer that they won't count towards the antique face. That's usually the motivation behind pointless posting, and literally none of the people replying to a thread actually read the OP, as can be evidenced by various "HI ENJOY THE WBO" posts in threads that are actually from people who just forgot their password, or whatever, or are just posting for the first time after lurking for months.
I think that when people join there should be a test. It should be fairly easy, especially if the person who wants to join actually looked around the WBO. This way, we can usher in new members who understand how the WBO works and how they can contirbute to it. Recently we've had alot of threads in the Customizations forum that are basically a lame combo and no test results. People are also basing alot of things off of Hasbro's star ratings. So, on the test, I think the things that should be covered are:
1. The rules of the WBO. This will actually force the people to read the rules.
2. How the top tier list and Customization forum works, like tests, etc.
3. General knowledge of Beyblade.
So, I know it sounds ridiculous, but if it's possible, I think it might work. Also, the test could be multiple choice so that Kai-V and Kei don't have to look over every single entry. The passing score could be like 7/10 - 10/10 or something like that. Also, people could get more than one try.
So let the critisicms roll in.

It'll do more for discouraging users from joining rather than improving quality IMO.

Didn't think of that. So, yeah it is kind of a stupid idea. I do get kind of mad though when I see people skipping about the site breaking the rules or not knowing what they're doing, which is why I thought of this. But still, it was kind of a stretch.
Yeah, I think a test is going too far...
I'm getting tired of seeing three posts saying "I don't think that belongs here" when someone posts something in the wrong place. People need to stop posting so pointlessly. A little done to at least publicise that it's getting out of hand.
And yeah, also everything else I've suggested recently Man, I should probably stop...

hey..i like ink's idea..maybe it will be discouraging new members to join..but it would be better than they keep spamming WBO and making ridiculous thread...also by answering those question, they can bare in their mind about the rules..
Not really, we ARE our members, as much as I'd ban a few of them, I dunno if you've ever tried to organise a tourney, but for a lot of us with smaller communities it would be much harder to get the minimum 8 attendees to make an event official (and to make the WBO money). Plus it's probably not that easy to set up.
There are so many spin tracks, performance tips, metal wheels, clear wheels not even listed in the wiki part. This is why I refer to wikia because they have new info, and a lot of it. Including the name and one of the beys for the random booster vol 8 Jade jupiter.
well if I would change anything it would be all the threads, its just too confusing for me where to post what subject. gives me a headache
