TL;dr - it's pronounced Lane.
I've noticed for a while now that there's a lot of confusion on how to say Lean Walhalla's name ever since Takara Tomy unveiled it, so as a Japanese speaker I wanted to clear some things up.
For starters, his name is still pronounced as "Lane". the Original Japanese writing for his name appears as レーン or Re-n which at first written as "Lane" however it seems that Takara Tomy messed on up writing his name in English as they're basing it on how they pronounce words in Japanese, which has been written as "Lean". In this case, Lean is literally been said as "Re-a-n" which sounds like "rain" or "lean" (note: L's and R's are indistinguishable in Japanese) however as English speakers, many people have incorrectly being saying "lean" as in "leaning against something" which is where this all started. Hopefully this clears things up within the beyblade community so there are less youtubers incorrectly saying his name.
