How to get my friends into beyblading

Hey bladers,
Im making this thread because I browse around and enjoy reading post about people who battle in their neighborhoods and school etc. I want that to be my reality and have lil tourneys because i live in the middle of nowhere :p. Maybe I am thinking too much of the anime or just fantasizing, but I want to have more people to play with. My brother never wants to play and it gets a little old playing by myself. I won't get any better unless i battle other people and when i invite my friends and neighbors they think its good and we have a good time but the next day everyone goes back to playing black ops ( which I am not aloud to play) and I am left alone. I know right now it seems like im just whining about being lonely but i was just wondering tips so my friends can get into this too. I know i can't force anyone to play but I know a lot of my friends enjoy these head on action games yet they feel embarrassed because people at my school look down upon beyblading. Sorry if i jumped all over the place I tend to do that a lot ( school essays especialy)
Thanks

Ps. Sorry for mechanic mistakes on iPad.
Well, dude I suggest you show them your beys and let them make some combos out of your random pieces and slowly teach them about the best way to launch tell them about the WBO and note what bey combos they made and liked using. (attack, stamina, defense,or balance) Then inform them on which bey combos are the best avaliable to them and which beys they should buy. Don't forget to see if they perfer string launchers or light launchers. But if you start thinking they arn't interested try to bring up somthing else to do instead. This is not guaranteed to work though.

Thanks man! I understand if they aren't interested it's just that i can't play all the video games they play or play airsoft anymore ( long story).
Show them DrigerGT Beyblade videos on youtube!

I think I did that once. I love how the videos incorporate the anime with the real life battles!
also your going to want to show them bb-18 libra on youtube.[/align]
And show them my Burn Fireblaze video! Grin

I think they'll like it.
i get my friends to beyblading by showing my beyblades, talking about the anime, and sharing customizations and battles...
My friends like every beybattle i found on youtube...especially from some bladers on WBO!

I suggest making combos using their own beys, share tips and battle videos...
I suggest you show your friends your beys. Persuade them to play beyblade by telling them interesting facts about beyblades, and why it is fun to play it, also teach them. Make them watch the best episodes of the anime, like the first episode of MFB. Show them the youtube videos of beybattles.

^ Hope this helps.
Most of my friends are 17+ and I've gotten a few of them BACK into the hobby by just playing with them. A lot of my friends remember Beyblade from their elementary school days, so getting them to play is a really nostalgic experience.
I'm a freshman in high school, and up until recently people have poked fun at me for playing with Beyblades. It isn't like cruel teasing/bullying; more along the lines of joking around. But it isn't exactly cool. xD I got a few people interested though, and today I got one of my friends a Dark Bull for Christmas. He flipped out. Him launching it all over the place and me bringing my Beyblade stuff for a party at school a few weeks ago has gotten a lot of people interested, and I think if I keep talking about it I can get a small group of people into it. Hopefully by the possible tournament in VA this February. Grin
well,her's what i did
1)make sure they know anything about mfbb
2)then,battle while he's/she's watching
3)show him a few episodes
4)wala! naturally he will pick up beyblading (does not work for adults)
All i had to do was show off 2 extremely aggressive attack types go against each other and the next day, they already had 2 beyblades.
I should try this on some of my friends. I actually partially did this once when I showed my friend my flame bull c145sd when I went to his house. Unfortunately I didn't own a stadium at the time, so I must try again now that I own one. I also managed to get my cousin into beyblade by buying him a set and a stadium for his birthday.
also, try get your hand on a cool one, like vulcan horuseus or mercury anubis etc. as everybody prefers a cool looking bey that's fast, than a slow boring looking one like, let's say dark wolf in comparison. i will try this when i get divine chimera, but i think most boys, and girls, much prefer the cooler versions of something...
Try showing them the three sires of bey blade!

Whats that & yeah i got two friends into beyblade by showing my old plastic attack type strata dragoon V against a Storm pegasis they just loved how SDV got knocked out by pegasis , but you really can't do anything about the ones who just don't want to see a glimpse of beyblade , i really hate when my friends don't even bother to see what i like & just say watch this movie it's gr8 or how lost & prison break is awesome , my friends brother said beyblade is not believable coz animal spirits are there & how he liked naruto coz he thought it was believable , don't get me wrong i love naruto but how can you believe a jinchuriki or a bijuu beats me !!!
ok this is how i made my class go from saying im a retard for blading to loving it
first talk about all the shows u watched when u was young
pick a lesson that comes frequently but you can take the mick
use that lesson to talk about beyblade
bring in a load of beys and let them costomize them and explain parts
then let them play with them
well you can talk about beyblades with them that's how i got my friend to play
First i talked to him about my order online and then he's like What's Beyblade then i told him and i gave him 1 bey to play with and now hes like addicted..haha i think if your friends can be convinced by just asking them to play with you at least once and see how they like it
Get them a free Bey, no one hates a freebie, then the rest is history, and they're addicts, this is probably the fastest way but also the most expensive.
I have the same wish as you I want more of my friends to beybattle my life would just be like the anime I could be the local champ and if only we had world championships that where like season 1 and 3 oh if only :l it would be so cool but this is too much wishful thinking I wish they sold plastic beys again!
I don't get it but my mom got this neighbor kid a beyblade for christmas (Thermal Pisces) and he likes to do something else that is stupid. I try to make him play but then he like picking his bugers or sniffing dog poo. Can someone help me to try to get this boy into beyblading.ASAP
wellsorry cant help you with bugger boy but i can say what i usually do.

1 invite the person to your house
2 show them a beyblade battle
3 give them a beyblade
4 battle with him or her
5 they should be blading
only works with people you havent tried to introduce to beyblade
The tactic of showing a battle is a lot better if you use 2 attack types! I got my friend and my girlfriend both blading like the show and let them try tactic using attack types.
I just showed my friend some of DrigerGT's videos and now he wants to buy some lol

This was his words before the conversion- "Gayblades are for gays and girls"
Words after the conversion- "Dude where do they sell these?"
