Hasbro's Beyblade Burst: OUT in Canada, First Photos [LOTS of images]

I wouldn't mind a blue Revolve, but I wish it was translucent blue and didn't look so... low quality, I guess as long as it's actually functional. I guess gold Unite looks okay but I wish it was a recolour from a 2 pack or something, not the actual S2 colour, but I guess it matches the good on S2, eugh.
I'll definitely pick up Spryzen S2 and Roktavor R2 and the stadium. Will probably pass on the others. But we know someone got the Basic Bey ones in Toronto as well, so surely those are coming pretty soon? Maybe the 3-pack?
Carp! Now these really do look like cheap knock-offs in comparison to TT's models. Recycled rip cords to boot. Did they at least reinforce V2? Because if not I'm definitely sticking with the Japanese models. A tad disappointed to be honest.
Hasbro's launcher is exactly like the Proto Launcher; the prongs continue to spin after you release the Beyblade. Surprising for a $15 CAD set. I wonder if there will be other launchers.

You can see in the other post about teeth that Valtryrek V2 is not re-enforced.

This is the most shocking part of all. The toys are now in stores. The app is live. The show is set to premiere on TV in mere days ... and there's been absolute silence from the powers that be. The social media feeds have been inactive for years, the website still redirects you to a subdomain about Metal Fusion hosted on YTV.com, and Hasbro's page is a just tech support for the app. It reminds me of when Beyblade first launched in North America, tops without the Dragoon logo trickled into retail before the show's premiere. Except now Beyblade has proven itself to be a multi-billion dollar earner ... twice. There are soft launches and test markets, and then there's sending a product to die.

They could have certainly made a lot more pre-advertisement, but technically these toys are only supposed to be released tomorrow, September 1st, not August 31st, and Fan Expo begins tomorrow in Toronto, so perhaps Hasbro is secretly planning a groundbreaking event to officialise the launch then and all these news are just unfortunate leaks. So they are not completely absent.
Hey guys, just giving everyone a heads up that it is not out in America yet. Just went to my local toys r us and they don't have it, will check walmart as well just in case.

They are only supposed to be released in Toys "R" Us in Canada, in September.
This is odd, to say the least. Didn't expect them to come out so suddenly in Canada, and I'm also surprised by the fact that the dual and single layers are being released.
You're weird, Hasbro.
I hope we get some stickers with these or else- Angry

Ah that's a shame that they're not reinforced. Hopefully the actual performance of the beyblades are good because it doesn't seem promising at the moment. On the bright side, alternative colour schemes are always a plus
I realized shortly after hearing the news that the nearby mall has its stores stay open until 9 PM every day of the week, so I went to my Toys "R" Us, and they had Beyblades. Unfortunately, no stadiums.

I bought R2 and S2, so I'll have high-res pictures of those as soon as I can, but here are a few things:

—V2 did not seem reinforced. I didn't take a picture, but the one wing I could glean seemed fully hollowed.

—The basic Layers are in the two-packs (pictures below), and they're priced $19.99. They do seem to come with the same parts they did when they were originally released. I didn't see Deathscyther, but the shelves were so grossly overpacked that I didn't mess around too much.

I'm sure there was something else, but I forget.

I wonder if the two packs come with launchers, and if people will spam OHD at TRU tournaments.
Interesting. Thanks as always.
I'm gone for five minutes...
Breaking News: Hasbro Has Done It Again
Has anyone seen burst at Walmart yet?
Thanks for sharing, Nocto!

These all look fake, pretty sure Rapidity looks more legit. That's the only thing I can say, because we already know about the toothless Layers...

I am going to guess the last 2 pack is Wyvern VM and DeathScyther OA

But where Speechless The only place for any items is for the Beys... That's all that is visible, and the only thing that would fit...

As far as we know it's TRU exclusive in Canada (for now).
Thanks Nocto! I guess it's cool that most of the single layers kept their original colours, but the drivers look awful. I think it's sad when Red and Gold S2 may be the best looking one of them all. They even look crammed together like fake packaging! And what's wrong with Odin and Spriggan, and Unicorn too ugh?
Horusood's color reminds me of Trolli Peachie O's.

Do things actually get announced at Fan Expo? I've gone to a few of them and Hasbro's booth is usually just a venue to buy stuff. I want to say I've actually posted a few Metal Fusion-era display photos here in the years gone by. In fact, the only reason we know there will be some presence at Fan Expo is through an ad for Hasbro Canada's new online store, which in turn seems to be run by Toys"R"Us?

I have other plans for this weekend, so I won't be able to attend, but I'm sure someone else here will.
Meanwhile, in the US....
(hope it comes soon)
Some of the beys shown by the Instagram user haven't been seen yet... Pretty sure we've almost seem all of the recolours at this point, but if we haven't; there must be a ton more.
Looking at the pics, I am disappointed in this.

Like others have said, the plastic looks cheap. I think partially because they look so plain and the "sticker colours" look too solid/bold. They don't blend with the layer itself.

Prices aren't eye catching either. Yeah it's TRU so prices are a bit more then other toy stores but I feel with whats presented in that package, it's not worth $15. I feel that its worth $10-12.

For me at this point the reason I would by hasbro burst is:
1. Convenience. If its something I REALLY want and don't want to wait for 4-6 weeks shipping.
2. Parts, based on reviews. If hasbro has less breakage problems then I'll consider getting them.
I definitely think $15 for a starter is crazy when the 2-packs are $20. That launcher is not worth $5.
