Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

It's 100% detachable, I just looked at TT's and Hasbro's zone and Xceed and saw 0 difference in the tip. My prediction is that you'll be able to switch Hasbro's and TT's X/Z chips.
Don't you think that having pictures of Evo Lucious and not knowing when for example Vex Lucious will be released (despite the 2-months old pictures) is both hilarious and very sad at the same time?

Alright, it would be nice to have a bit more customization.
Drift will be free spinning, but its tip isn't as rounded. Its performance won't be way too different from TT's. I just think it will be WAY better than Mobius-sp. They didn't capture the color of the tip. Even if it wasn't free-spinning, it would look better if it had color. Drift-sp might be one of the best Hasbro tips, as it doesn't look like they can mess it up THAT much. They just made it taller, and please, don't expect rubber. Overall these beys look pretty neat, except for the non-Limit Break system, but let's be honest, would they ever do that? It would be very nice to see a later wave of pro series having Hyperion Burn, Lucius The End, and Helios Volcano.
In the meantime Infinite Achilles A6 is still a mystery...

It's also kinda creepy.
Deleted post, sorry.

It would be even nicer if Hasbro fixes current pro series beys flaws first, ahah!!!

I think Drift-sp will be better than Mobius-sp, too. Still, Hasbro's releases schedule is not clear or even remotely trustworthy. Seems like a huge mess, with random infos coming up randomly and stuff like that...
Evo Helios Blazebringer's Z chip confirmed metal, I don't know about Hyperion's. It says Zoning+Z- SPM. Speedstorm Metal. The color of the chip is a little different from the tip as well. I honestly wouldn't mind having Hyperion or Helios. They both look pretty cool.

Wait-
It could just be the tip...

Anyways, is World Spryzen and Evo Helios Blazebringer coming out with wave 3?
The Shark Launcher?!?! 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣

Holy, Hasbro. Your laziness knows no limits. I’m ready for 600 of these to sit on the shelves of Walmarts until they release the sword Launcher with DB Valkyrie with like painted wings on it.

Curious how the set performs. Hasbro usually impresses me with their stadiums, so this can really make the whole Speedstorm gimmick worth it. Otherwise... 🤡
something i just realized. on the box, Dragon is in its Awakened Mode while in reality its in regular mode and its stuck that way, make up your mind hasbro.

another thing, i am definitely hoping the X and Z chips are removable otherwise i wont have any hope left for hasbro when Dynamite Battle comes around but i think its safe to say they're gonna screw that up anyway too lmao.

Hasbro is trying their best you cannot judge them just because they don't add every gimmick and Hasbro is more kid-friendly that's one of the long lines of reasons why they don't do everything correctly

if that were the case then why didnt they just remove EVERY gimmick from SwitchStrike and back then: beys like Nightmare and Sieg for hasbro still had metal and i mean A LOT OF METAL and still gave metal to beys like Hades and Buster in Turbo. Kid-friendly is probably the #1 worst reason to not add gimmicks and metal, by that logic wouldnt that mean that TT would have be "kid friendly" too?

First, Hasbro's clearly trying to be "special". That doesn't mean I like it. Second, Hasbro's stadiums and beys are made so cheaply, that's why SwitchStrike cost more, and they knew it. Third, TT wasn't really made "Kid Friendly" they are the ones who invented Beyblade, not Hasbro. So, they don't have a choice to not do it anime accurately, because that's the only reason TT's prices haven't really changed. Hasbro is half the price, so for them, it needs to be half the quality. Again, I'm not arguing with your point, I'm just adding.

Basically, Hasbro is kinda starting to move into the "Danger Zone" what I mean by that is starting to add metal making the slopes tighter so that's 1 reason and I am not saying TT is not kid-friendly I'm just saying that TT is kinda less overprotective as Hasbro TT knows how dangerous a bey can be but they are kinda less protective than Hasbro but Hasbro is kinda getting loose these past couple of years.

My only guess is that the original Triumph Dragon prototype was gonna be in it's awakened mode, but they later changed their minds and were like "nah, let's give people the less aggressive mode instead."

Seeing how Hasbro's handling things, they probably won't give the DB layers high and low mode and they'll just be stuck on one mode.

Hasbro is only half price because most of us order online. In person, they’re the same.

Hasbro hate is kinda dumb, but y’all need better arguments

Hasbro is it’s own thing, if you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Some prefer more fun and chaotic battles, some prefer better performance and anime accuracy, it doesn’t really matter. Hasbro is aiming for more fun and chaotic battles while utilizing stadium potential, Takara Tomy is anime accurate and much more competitive Beys, if you want chaos, get Hasbro, if you like winning tournaments, get Takara Tomy, or both.

Stop whining about Hasbro being inaccurate to Takara Tomy, they’re separate things at this point, we got Pro Series (although the teeth issue is a bit wonky), be grateful.

Not at all.

Anyways hopefully Drift-SP is solid enough, and some nice strong chips would be quite good.

There were a few things you added, though, and I don't disagree. Hasbro has pros and cons, they are going for Anime Accurate stadiums, while less anime accurate beys. TT goes for 100% accuracy, but they don't really do the stadiums. Pro series, on the other hand, I don't love it but I don't hate it. It's just there for convenient TT pickups with flaws. Overall, I do know that Drift-SP won't be bad at all. They captured the colors and 100% of the shape, plus the free-spinning (most likely). I don't expect too much of a difference performance-wise compared to TT's. The chips might have metal, but don't expect it. I'm almost certain that you can remove the X and Z chip, which is nice. Compared to the Takara Tomy version of Zone and Xceed, I don't see a difference in the spinning plate. So I expect to be able to put Hasbro's Z chip on Zone'. The motor strike set looks nice overall, so I'm 100% picking it up, and I might even bring it for free play in my tournaments.

"Hasbro is trying their best you cannot judge them"

Of course I can. I'm surely allowed to give my perspective on a product and I don't see how this is trying their best. Hypersphere removed gimmicks and I had issues with some of their choices, but I praise it all the time. Speedstorm is a huge step-back, with lots of corners cut and cheapness and I will certainly criticize them for it. This has nothing to do with anime accuracy or TT -- I criticize TT for lots as well (and praise them when they do stuff right).

Anyway, the new shark launcher is the epitome of nonsensical Hasbro cheapness but their new Stadium is what I'm focused on. Wasn't impressed with their first Stadium for Speedstorm, but if this is done correctly (as I said) it could make the whole gimmick worthwhile.

Couldn't agree more. It's true, Hasbro's become its own thing and in my opinion it's not good at all. Besides that, i've read that "we should be grateful for pro series stuff". Excuse me? Pro series is a complete mess, trash quality plastic and parts are as tough as butter. Plus, speedstorm looked like a nice series when it first came out. But it clearly went south release after release, no more gimmicks on the layers and ridiculous discs from past generations. Should we be grateful for that too? I always say that Hasbro should really focus on JUST ONE of the TWO different lines. Producing two types of beys in equally bad way makes no sense to me. If Hasbro's not interested in beyblade franchise anymore, why don't just sell it to another company? Until switchstrike beys were amazing and TT accurate (gimmicks and features), so the "kids-friendly" thing is not the reason why they stopped doing right. Saving money, that's the most realistic scenario to me. And beytubers' negative influence, oh this does not even deserve an answer...

So we're getting an interesting mix here.  We have a Riptide Shark Launcher, but also a pretty neat Demise Hyperion.  And it's a ripfire bey which we haven't seen since Turbo so it's a nice comeback.  A Speedstorm ripfire tip.  Comes with Limited RipFire disc, and what I think is a new tip (TSP19) ripfire.
And here's the source:

I'll be getting the Motor Strike JUST for the Stadium, and that shark launcher looks dope.

Honestly, given how difficult Hypersphere was to control I think that driver-wise Speedstorm is overall better, especially when it comes to -SPM versions. They can be used in normal stadiums totally fine, and the added height gimmick isn't too terribly intrusive. Layer-wise though, the Rise line did things better and actually gave a few layers that could stand a chance in battle instead of crumpling under the pressure of battle like the new Speedstorm layers.

Takara TOMY does have a bit of a western presence with the TOMY name.  Their Thomas trains was super popular, they had the license to distribute Pokémon figures(including their own Moncole stuff), and just last year, they started selling their Tomica cars in western stores.  If they wanted to, they could cut ties from Hasbro, and sell the beys, themselves.  Additionally, they also own ERTL, in case they need another western hand.

Sure, i know TT is not unknown to the western countries. That's even worse, if you know what i mean. I don't understand why they keep selling Hasbro trash stuff then, if they could sell their own products in Europe or USA or name a country of your choice.
