Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

(Aug. 29, 2019  12:35 AM)JoMario67 Wrote: Why Hasbro? Just why? It kind of seems like how they did things with the Destroyer Dome in MFB . . . Or like Zero-G. Honestly, they screwed up everything now. The layers don't have metal, the tips aren't what they should be, but Rise looks like the disks aren't even right. There's no Hurricane on Hasbro's Ashura, plus Keep doesn't look like it'll have rubber, (is it even Keep) and it might not be Free Spinning. On Dragon, why on Earth are there no Grand or Rock bases in the set? If Hasbro doesn't do the extra Layers, I will be furious. There's no way to have disk gimmicks anymore. I honestly think Hasbro has to do HyperBlades or something, because I'm sure they're receiving all the complaints from fans. But, I am excited to see how the bets perform, and to see how it works in the app. Btw, is it just me, or does it look like there's Boost on Hasbro's Ashura? Disappointed overall, hope they keep layer gimmicks, since they ditched disk gimmicks. Drivers are odd, but might be cool and fun.

Ashura's Disk looks like βumper for some reason...
1. The drivers for Rise look goofed even more than turbo... it's really confusing to look at.
2. The beys apparently will have a removable GT chip, but the weight is combined into the layer.
3. Launchers keep the turbo/og look instead of going with switchstrike style launchers.

Overall... This looks to be more like Turbo 2.0 which is interesting i guess? Hopefully we get better quality pics soon, also hoping the beys are close in weight.
Okay, after doing some driver comparisons, I think the driver on the Rudr recolor is a Bearing driver made into Hypersphere.  I could be wrong, but Bearing has these weird dents on the driver, that are all circular and form a circle around the driver.  Looking at the driver for the recolor, there is a somewhat similar pattern, so maybe Bearing-H is something.  Plus, there is this circle part in the center that is yellow but is like not molded in with the driver, if that makes sense.  There's a circular gap around the part that might be free-spinning so that might make it Bearing, or a new driver.  Just something I thought I'd point out.

And check out Zankye's video for the image of the driver on Rudr.  Still have no idea what Air Knight recolor's driver is.
So I guess the Gatinko Chip will serve no purpose aside of aesthetics in Rise since Hasbeys don't have teeth. Unless they -do- start having teeth in Rise.

All those designs are actually on the original Hasbro Bearing
I think Hasbro missed their chance for redemption now. No Hyperblade series is gonna get them out of this hole they dug since Turbo, since it is clear they didn't learn and listen. I would be surprised if Fafnir and Lúinor actually retain their main Layer gimmicks this series. In fact, how are they gonna handle Union Achilles?

If Hasbro screws Rise up Beyblade will never be the same. Im being serious. Fafnir F4 was a disaster and they never had the f*u*ing PROOF FRAME. If Rise is a screw up then i'm done with buying beyblade's and i'm just going to watch the tv show.

TT didn't include proof with Fafnir either, you had to buy it in a separate release.
So how much money do Habsro’s Beyblade creators actually have?
what about hascon 2019?
isnt that like sep 6th?
maybe someone will find something there
The best thing they’ll find is probably Turbo Valtryek V3/

Well that wasn’t supposed to happen.

All of a sudden in Australia, Sphinx S4, Typhon T4 and Hercules H4 all appeared at a Woolworths store nearby Toyworld.
I grabbed Hercules for the anime. But why Woolworths instead of Toyworld or K-Mart?
Thanks for updating us, Zankye! Really interesting (and impressive finds).

This being a rehash of Slingshock is really lame, honestly. Maybe the gimmick is even more exciting since they've had a chance to test the waters with Slingshock? Uncertain The drivers look interesting and as someone who really enjoys TT, I welcome new drivers for variety. I don't know. I'm sensing we'll have similar complaints as we did with Turbo.
One thing to point out, Diablolos will not be as unique in Rise as its weight will actually be on Venom and Erase while Diabolos will be a normal dual-spin chip like Spriggan. Just thought I point it out.

I'm not exactly sure if the layers and weights being fused is confirmed. It is very likely, but maybe the layer and weights are fused together so they're all like Diabolos. Who knows, we'll just have to wait and see when Rise comes out.

There’s no weight on Diabolos. It’s just a chip and base.
Well that's the issue. If the weights are fused with the base for Hasbro, then Diabolos won't be weight plus chip anymore

That’s the thing, Diabolos has no weight! Just the chip.

But, the chip is fused with the weight in TT's Diabolos chip.  It has metal on the chip and has metal parts that fill in the gap for a normal TT Layer weight.  If Hasbro fuses the weight with the base, Diabolos won't be like TT's where the weight and chip are fused into one piece, instead it will only have a dual spin chip like the Spriggan chip and no metal, and the gold parts on the chip will be on the base, not part of the chip like TT's.

He's saying that the Diabolos Chip will be the same as all of the other Chips, since it's the only way Layer Customization could work. The part on Diabolos that's in the shape of a Weight will likely be fused with the Base instead of with the Chip, making it just a Dual Spin Chip like Spriggan.

I thought that Hasbro follows TT’s molds?

Not this time with how the weights are handled by being fused with the bases.

While that’s likely, that’s not confirmed.
