Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

There is no way it’s keeping the gimmick. The suction cup contradicts the whole purpose of the Slingshock series in the first place. I’m just hoping it has the metal balls and good slopes.

There’s always a way it’s keeping its gimmick. All it has to do is lock the bearings, and now you have a Quest-S that does slingshock.
Que interesante son estos temas, me encanta mucho porque podemos tener diferentes ideas como por ejemplo hacer increíble la corona de rey

And then it sticks to the stadium without being able to spin freely and literally just stops and falls over.

This is a terrible idea.

Well, from my looking at it, there doesn't appear to be any rubber on the driver, only plastic, and there doesn't seem to be much of a change between normal and Slingshock mode. One mode would be free spinning, while the other mode will be locked. Because it isn't rubber, it won't stick to the stadium if it is locked, but have terrible stamina. Honestly, an all plastic Quest might be okay, as long as it isn't knocked over. It would fall over eventually, but not before going around the rails a couple times

I wonder what Tornado-X Yegdrion would look like when it's spinning, at least around the center, since it's colored like one of those hypnosis spinning things. On that topic of Fafnir, I think I can confirm it has the closing mouth gimmick, because in this image I found on the Wiki, I can see like metal springs inside the mouths. Still unsure if there's rubber or not, but it's unlikely.

Looking at the driver for Fafnir, Absorb-S, the sling shock mode is almost exactly like Eternal-S's change. I'm guessing here in my next couple sentences, but I think it has to have the spring gimmick, or else it wouldn't be any different than Eternal-S. I'm probably wrong, but that is just my thought
Hasbro's marketing & distribution is beyond bizarre. No announcement for the main character's new Bey? (Turbo Achilles) but Engaard receives a poster? They announce Beys that are in stores but aren't really... for months. What's the problem here? I understand TT only distributes to Asia, but why is it they can easily manage release dates and stock but Hasbro cannot?

Based off the negative comments found in many of their posts/videos, why not remedy that? Send Turbo Achilles to Blast Zone Kid (they have a "partnership" with them but never used it), Turbo Valtryek to Zankye, Perfect Phoenix to JoJo [Jp0t] and Turbo Spryzen to Ilinnuc (and they can include even more YouTubers, if they choose) to review their products early on their channels and a tournament on Hasbro's Beyblade Channel (each using their respective reviewed product). Give us some hype for these products because the Turbo series should be their biggest sellers. Beyblades have removed gimmicks, altered drivers and no metal, but I think the real killer for Hasbro has been the horrible marketing and distribution of their products. Heck, even I'd watch the quick camera jerks and microphone pops in BZK's videos for that.

Turbo Achilles is easily one of the best of the Slingshock Line so far but it's going out with a whimper.

If Hasbro was really smart, they'd have released three Hasbro exclusives with the same Turbo/Cho-Z gimmick (similarly to what they did when they upgrade Poseidon, Apollon and Venus with Engine Gears). How insanely badass would Turbo Kraken K4, Turbo Ogre K4 and Turbo Dullahan D4 be?
What do you guys think Hasbro will do in Rise?

Give LeftBurst Spryzen instead. LeftBurst will give it more praise. (No offense, Real_ilinnuc
Haha! I just selected the 2-3 more recognizable YouTubers. I'd think a lot of them (Kevo, LeftBurst, FunwithBugz) probably could get their own to review and battle in the tournament and it would only strengthen and unify the Hasbro Beyblade fanbase.

At least we get those dual layer re-colors. AMIRITE?!
Honestly, Hasbro's US distribution has been really sad, especially compared to Canada. I luckily found wave 6 switch-strike at Target months ago, but there has been no sign of zeutron, treptune or wave 4 sling-shock. Every store around here is stuck with wave 4 switch-strike
Hasbro is really dropping the ball here. I'm scared for Rise because I know it'll have the exact same problems, judging by this.
Didn't see anyone talk about the set since it came out but I got my hands on it and it's alright. Yard-S and Eternal-S are the best performance tips in this set and Luinor's slopes still suck but this Hercules for some reason feels tighter than normal.
I actually like the GameStop Exclusive (Element X). The parts, it's true, weren't the best but the re-colours were awesome, especially in-person and the Kerbeus is super tight (and it's already a good layer). The Hercules re-colour looks better in video but I'm still meh on Luinor.

In case people don't know what I'm referring to since its release was ignored:

Love the Kerbeus K4 from the Element-X pack, it's super small and packs a punch!
I was able to get the Engaard 2-Pack and it looks alright, still sad quest is plastic but rest is fine I guess

Lol @ it losing to Aegis. Wow. I like how it’s free-spinning but it seems bad.

Super jealous you got Morrigna and Rudr so early. Those two I’m most excited about seeing you unbox.
Engaard E4 was supposed to be a bey that utilised the creative combination of minuscule stamina and pure defense, using the outer disc to minimally improve stamina while utilising Quest and its own layer’s orbs to prevent heavy knockback. Instead, I don’t see anything in Quest’s ability to recreate its special moves. Quest is now technically more prone to K.O. via ring-out now that the suction material is plastic only, and while it prevents wobbling over to drain stamina if it collided with the stadium, I don’t see the defensive properties Engaard used to have, even to the point of preventing Engaard from further exposing its orbs.
I have an extra question. Are Engaard’s orbs still capable of spinning?

No the orbs can’t move, just plastic and stays still
The orbs are plastic and don't move?! ... YIKES

Slingshock is probably selling really well, so... Rise is going to be a hot mess, as well.
Toysrus Canada has the Ultimate Tournament Collection back in stock, ordered mine. Very happy since I can't find any of those 6 beys at all in stores/amazon. Plus tons of Disc Frames Grin!

Very sad about Engaard E4 with still balls... Thanks originalzankye for the video.
