Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

Just checked, Hypersphere is in stores in Melb.
I'm happy that Australia gets beyblades early again
Found some small news from some product listings:
BEY HS VENOM DIABOLOS D5
BEY HS GLYPH DRAGON D5
BEY HS JOKER J5
BEY HS SWORD VALTRYEK V5
These appear to be the next wave of hypersphere, and Grand might've been changed to Glyph. Unsure why there's only Joker J5, but these are starters for the next wave. Take this with a grain of salt since these are subject to change (it literally says that under the listings)

If there’s only Joker J5, this means that Hasbro got dumb and removed the burst stopper thingy on the layer and ensured there was no rubber on the attack points AND randomly decided to merge the GT Chip with the Base-Weight combination and now you can’t remove it anymore. In fact, the entirety of Hypersphere is still about the performance tip, not the GT layer, and that sucks.

And by the way, I do understand that it’s subject to change but this concept is quite difficult to contain if you’re a person who wants to have customisable layers as well.

Diabolos D5 is actually going to be Devolos D5.

We'll just have to wait and see images and product descriptions to find out more about Joker J5. However, I don't think Hasbro will change the base besides removing the rubber. I'm expecting a plastic burst resistor.

Diabolos D5 is actually going to be Devolos D5.

Devolos is the accurate name, it's just the product listing had said Diabolos. Idk why though
The Entertainment Earth listings for the first wave of Rise listed BA5 and WF5 as just "Ashindra A5" and "Fafnir F5", and the boxes for those had the full names written on them. Joker's full name not being listed on that site is likely the same case. I guess EE doesn't get the final names for the products before they post them?
More listings have been leaked:
Wave 2 Dual Packs:
BEY HS DUSK BALKESH B5 AND ARTEMIS A5
BEY HS ERASE DEVOLOS D5 APOLLOS A5
Wave 2 Singles:
BEY HS MORRIGNA M5
BEY HS LUINOR L5
BEY HS KNIGHT K5
Honestly disappointed we won't be seeing a Morrigna evolution this season, Dusk Balkesh is an okay name, since they already used Dread, rerelease of Apollo and Artemis is cool as well. Luinor in a single is quite odd, since I don't ever remember Hasbro releasing a bey that was in the anime in a single. They updated the name to Devolos as well. I'm hoping to see images soon.

It's a rerelease.
New information on new Hypersphere Beyblades:
Erase Devolos D5 and Apollos A5
Dusk Balkesh B5 and Artemis A5
Luinor L5
Morrigna M5
Edit: Look like Jomario got to it first. All I have to say is disappointed that Luinor and Balkesh are not switchstrike releases because now longinus may not have metal and Balkesh may not have its gimmick. This also confirms that there will be two Devolos GT chips. One for left and one for right. Morrigna is likely just a recolor of Morrigna M4 but it might be a new Morrigna. You never know.

Balkesh will most likely keep it's gimmick, since it's only moving plastic. Gen will probably be changed somehow, but 7Wall will be the same, but there will be no metal on orbit and it most likely won't be free spinning. Sad for Luinor as well.

Are the Hasbro layer bases changed in such a way that an LR Devolos chip would be impossible? I'm looking at photos of the Hasbro and TT layer bases and I can't tell if the mechanism is different enough.

It's disappointing that Luinor is probably getting jipped again, just like Luinor L4. Maybe they will pull an Xcalius X4 and put some on, though it seems unlikely since the Hypersphere Beys need to be lightweight for the gimmick to work.

I don’t see why they’d have to be lightweight for the gimmick to work. Is there any proof that it doesn’t work without being lightweight? Plus it said on the website for venom Devolos that it was a right spin rise chip, so there are definitely two Devolos chips.

Well, it's not impossible, it's just Hasbro made them separate chips. Idk why they couldn't do it though. Hoping for Luinor L5 to have metal as well. Images will probably provide more details on this, but for now Devolos is two chips, one for right, and one for left

I think Zankye has a photo of Luinor L5 in the packaging in his thumbnail.

Edit: Nevermind it’s just a concept edit.

Edited most likely
Look Carefully on the Thumbnail says "Concept Edit". "Edit package", please don't publish false rumours

Oops! Didn’t see that part. I’ll edit the post.
I HOPE Morrigna M5 is an upgrade. The original is one of the best Hasbro exclusives.

All I need is Typhon and I'm happy.
Still not in stores near me. I'd like to buy one or two to test ToT

Though where is it confirmed that they made separate chips? I am not seeing that anywhere, and we don't have images of the actual products yet either.

I mean there's one right Devolos chip and one left Devolos chip, the right spin one on Venom, the left spin one on Erase. Also, the information is on Toysrus Canada, however it has an image of Sword Valtryek, yet the listing and description of Venom Devolos. The description says one right spin chip

The text is so small its almost impossible to see unless you fully study the thumbnail. By then people will just assume its real.
