Entry will be $15. Entry can be paid via e-transfer to the host (myself) or with cash in person during the beginning of the event. The e-transfer will be given out during registry on challonge

About the WBO
Join the Hamilton Community in our Qualifying tournament for Anime norths invitational tournament! Our tournament will be hosted at Moncala Monk on Friday April 11th at 7pm sharp! We want to keep our tournament moving quickly and efficiently, please try to be early or on time so we can get started asap! We will have an entry fee to not only help cover the cost of prizing. The top 3 winners will receive prizing and also be entered into the invitational tournament at Anime North on Sunday May 25th 2025!
This event will be a ranked event!!!!!
Participant cap:
Due to a limited amount of space we are having a cap of 32 players! First come first serve with entry on Wbo. I hope to hit our cap!
Equipment and stadiums:
The organizers will have a stadium for practice set up as well as the tournament stadiums set up on tables inside the cafe. Please refrain from using tournament stadiums for practicing, and only use the designated stadium. There will also be a bin of loaner parts for those who have broke a part or do not have that many.
Please try to arrive early on on time!!
We want to try to get the tournament running smoothly and quickly so please show up on time and no later than 7pm. Traffic can be very random and things can occur, if you think you will be late, please contact myself or one of my other hosts and accommodations can be made.
Tournament information and bracket:
Due to this event being a qualifier for anime north it will follow the same rule set for the scoring systems.
First stage: 3v3 swiss first to 4 points
final stage: 3v3 single elimination first to 7 points
The tournament bracket will be created on challonge. I will send out the bracket to those who have signed up once I have entered their name from the wbo sign up.
Banned parts:
All fake parts, and the metal needle bit!

Judges:
Please make sure to be polite and respectful to all of our judges at our event! Judges will already be pre- determined before the event and will be assigned to each stadium before the matches begin.\
Prizing:
The top 3 winners will be entered in Sundays Invitational tournament at Anime North 2025.

- If side of the stadium is not mutually agreed upon, a game roc,k paper, scissors, will determine who choses the side
- Self ko's and non contact finishes will count for full points
- After each individual battle the sides of the stadiums will switch
- 1 point for spin finish
- 2 points for over finish or burst finish
- 3 points for x finish
- A re-shoot will occur if a beyblade hits the shroud on launch
- A re-shoot will occur if a beyblade exits out of the top of the stadium
- Judges will confirm order in between each re-shuffle of order
