About the WBO

X Format – 3-on-3 Match Type
Please pay close attention so everyone is on the same page and ready to battle! We are using G1 style Rules so some things have changed! - We are playing 3-on-3 match type.

24 player cap
Please bring a stadium if you are able!

- First to 4 double elimination matches

- losers bracket will begin before winners.

- Optional rules

Stadium Lock
 - Sides are picked at the side of the match pick off coin flip and cannot be swapped.
Honorable Duel

-The referee will announce both beys before each battle begins

Own finish
-When you score an Xtreme finish or over finish against a Bey that did not touch your Bey during the battle, it is considered an own finish instead.
-When you score an own finish, you receive 1 point. Then, the battle is replayed.
-This optional rule can be applied to individual stages of the event.

Out-of-bounds over finish
-If the opposing Bey leaves the battle area through the launch area and becomes out-of-play, instead of voiding the battle, it will be considered as scoring an over finish.

Clean Winners
-if the judges determine that multiple finishes have occurred at the same time the match will be considered a draw, and a rematch will be held

Final Reminders
  • All battles start on the judge’s signal: "3-2-1, Go Shoot!", or "1-2-3, Let it Rip!"
  • Launch directly into the play area—hitting Over or Xtreme Zones directly during launch counts as an own finish
  • Judges are encouraged to call contact when it occurs. No-contact knockouts, and extremes will be considered an Own Finish (1 point awarded to the opponent, then replayed). No-contact spin outs and bursts are still awarded normal points (1 & 2 pts respectively, move on to next bey)
  • Do not touch the stadium or Beyblades until the judge calls the battle.
  • Do not touch your opponent's Beyblades.
  • Respect your fellow bladers, judges, and equipment.
We are playing by the updated WBO rulebook, if there is any contest to match results we will go by the book.
