Childe can use both a dagger and a bow making him quite versatile and able to use both long and short distance attacks. Diluc on the other hand uses only short ranged weapons putting him at a disadvantage against mages and hypostasis. Also childe constantly does elemental damage giving him a plus 1 over diluc. Although his damage isn’t as good as diluc he makes up for it in his versatility.

Childe's good, but Diluc's insane damage makes him better in my opinion. Diluc's my type of character, so I'll prob play more efficiently with him
