So I went to Philly Regionals on the 13th, so here is what happened.
Note: I was running Satellars
Record 4:5:1
Round 1 vs. Monster Mash
Win 2:1
This round was fairly interesting because it was a really strange rogue deck of straight up 40 monsters and annoying hand traps. Game 2 I determined that there was an obvious high monster count so I sided out msts and trap stuns. Ended up going into time.
Round 2 vs. Satellar Knights
Loss 1:2
This dude's build was clearly better than mine. Game 2 I sided out my 3 upstarts, a myrmeleo, and soul drain for Stygian Dirge, 2 malevolent catastrophes, mind control, and dimension slice. Went into time.
At this point dragon duel signups started. The people in my group decided to see if they could sign me up, but it turns out I am 1 year too old.
Round 3 vs. Satellar knights
Loss 1:2
Same deal as before, same sides too.
--Lunch Break--
Round 4 vs. Shadolls
Win 1:0
Was a very close match. By the time game 1 was over, we were already into time.
Round 5 vs. Yang zings.
Tied 1:1
I won game 1, and sided out for 2 upstarts for gozen match and mind control. Game 2 was in time.
Round 6 against Satellar knights
Win 2:0
The opponent didn't draw much from what I saw. Same sides as before.
Round 7 vs. ?
No show.
Round 8 vs. Lightsworn
loss 1:2
I took game one, sided in soul release, mind control, and transmigration prophecy. Game 2 was fairly close, but I lost. Game three I got sacked pretty hard. around turn 5 he double Judgment Dragon'd me.
Round 9 vs. Evilswarm
loss 1:2
Was another fairly close match. sided in shadow imprisoning mirrors, dimension slice, and 2 malevolent catastrophes. went into time game 3. In game 3 I got sacked by double flying "c"
Round 10
No show
All in all, it was a blast, and 12 hours of non-stop yugioh. You could also say I'm slow player of the event, because I went into time A LOT.
