I'm sick of this "it's a children's card game" mentality you do realize the people that have won every YCS this past year have been at least 18? and that was the one young mexican pretty sure the rest are like 21-22... there may have actually been one very young player that won out of the what... 15 regionals?

Yes it is expensive, but what are you on about Duality? It came out in 2 different tins. You were guaranteed to get it. I picked up 3 tins for that reason. I draw the line at Tour Guide being over 200 half a year ago, I got lucky and pulled one from a booster when I was trying to run Karakuri, but still.

Everyone is harping about: "Oh this format is so bad there's no skill it's so herp derp..." No that was the end of last format when everyone ran Agents and a single deck dominated everything. It's been a long time since we had such a diverse meta.

We have 4 really top notch decks and 2 decks that can definitely hold their own in one format this is refreshing to me.

As for the Meta, just like in Beyblade we brought something back that was wrecking things originally and nothing changed. I believe that's what Konami tried to do with BLS. It's still busted as all hell, but there are worse things to go against CED + Yata-Garasu spring to mind. Long long time ago there was a mid point ban added to the list because of how crazy broken it was in Japan. Time Seal + Tsukoyomi + Mask of Darkness + Victory Dragon. BLS is horrific there is no doubt it has too much power, It's easy to bring out, and it's effects have very little drawback.

That said I'm glad to see they tried something new, though they were profit hungry in that they had a chance to hit overpowered Inzektors and such with the timing of the banlist and didn't. So good with the bad I suppose.

Im not quitting because of the format. I feel ashamed playing it at my age. Childrens card games are ruining my life, i want to clean my slate and get somewhere. My locals taught me that. All of them said quit while you can. And im also scared that i might turn out like them if this continues. Its ruining my social life.

My dads willing to buy my cards, i shot a price, and he would give it to me to get something i need. I was confused, yet thankful for taking this burden away from me.

At least im not afraid to face reality.

And if you are wondering, take this into consideration, im not forcing ANYONE to do this.

So the next set's sneak peek is rolling around next-week, I'm interested to know what cards you guys are on the lookout for, and how many times do you think you'll enter?

I'm obviously looking for Madolche, and I believe I'll enter only once as everything that I need from the set is a rare or common. (Hell, I might even not enter and just come to trade!)

I really like how few "unplayable" hands the deck can have, as you can usually play out of many, many hands.

Oh, right, ok. Thanks for telling me. I was pretty confused by that second line so I thought it might have been towards Trainer Red,

Anyways, so far I don't see much in the set I want, I do want a playset of Snow Snipers though, it's a pretty interesting card, and the promo is pretty playable, I'll probably want more when the full list is released, the mat is a definite want of mine, When I saw it, minds were blown. I am just waiting on finding out what the £15-£20 secrets will be, as I had a combo of pulling them once GENF sneak peek GENF-Tiras, PHSW-Dolkka and ORCS- Exa-Beetle. I didn't go to the last Sneak Peek because I didn't think it was worth it, nor did I have the money.

It's worth like a dollar. And that's a guess from a Brit's perspective, either way it's worth hardly anything, just go to eBay for prices.

EDIT: on a side note, has everyone seen the "99% confirmed September 2012 banlist?" It seems pretty legit. And I'm not being sarcastic, it was discovered by someone who has always been right with banlists, except for one time when he was trolling. If not, I'll post it later.

Sorry for the double post, but that was the worst sneak peek I've ever been to. My locals had an open dueling event on the side for 17.50, you get 5 packs of REDU and a promo, you don't get the extra packs afterward, but you do have a chance of a mat as far as I was told, but I don't think you actually could due to me not getting the mat either, If I didn't, I wouldn't have been able to get some food due to my friend not giving me the money I needed for food, but that's irrelevant, I paid 17.50 for 5 rares, I suppose it doesn't help when there's only 1 card in the set I needed (Silver Sentinel) I don't think I'll go to another Sneak Peek unless the set has a few more good cards in it (GENF PHSW standard.) Also, the 99% confirmed banlist has been 100% confirmed now Tongue_out

The 99% Confirmed Forbidden and Limited List is now the 100% Confirmed Forbidden and Limited List!

Hah, what the hell? Why do they keep moving Chaos Sorcerer around? It's been changed almost every other banlist. So, now that Brio's been banned, I don't need to try and find one to buy (or, they'll be really cheap!). Future Fusion's ban has destroyed most of the decks my brother plays, to boot. This ban list is really weird, hah.

There don't seem to be too many good cards in it; there's Hyperion, Grapha, Brio, Naturias Beast and Barkion, and a couple other cards. But overall, I don't see much appeal to it, except for people who want to holo-out their decks.
