General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Image Apollons, Zeus', Dragoon GT, Dranzer GT, blizzard ortherus etc. in toy stores Smile.
Plus HMS! This could be a dream come true!
"from the Beyblades source" ? Since when does Hasbro pluralise "Beyblade" anyway ? This sounds odd, but obviously very exciting for the Beyblade community if it really is about Beyblade itself.

Thank you for the news, L-Pegasus Blader.

Thank you for the news, L-Pegasus Blader.

Since it starts with Bey and ends with a blade, not a "z", I think it's safe to say, something exciting is coming our way.
Once I heard them talk about a new toyline that actually had beyblade I immediately got excited! I cannot wait. Hope it's not a crappy side thing. (Don't go off saying "hurr durr tri em out no h8 b4 u do", I have tried them and hate them all.)
No need to be so blunt about it, but I do agree. It's really great to see Hasbro is doing something on their own with beyblade. Lets hope they don't mess it up.

DO you remember the first episode of Beywheelz where it talks about the tree of beyblade and how beywheels was another branch outside the MFB system? well what would happen if hasbro went in depth about that tree and focused on the begining of beys meaning all bey related things like bey raiderz, bey wheels, and beyblades?
Not getting my hopes up on "from beyblade's source" too high but omg just imagine... Just imagine...
Ugh! I'm not at Toy Fair this year, so I can't even try to confirm what Legends is!

Edit: One of my colleagues is there. I've asked him to find out more if he can during his Hasbro tour.
This will be interesting.

I think they're doing this, so while they have their side-series, they know by now the actual tops make a lot more money for them.

I really hope we see some pictures soon, but I guess it's just word of mouth, at this point.
This news about "Beyblade Legends" made my morning because it's nice to know that Hasbro is actually continuing the actual game still. All though the part about all the beyblade characters is kinda confusing because it would be odd to suddenly bring back Plastics and HMS. But if they did I would be pretty happy!
If what people are saying is true (about Dragoon and stuff coming back) then I think the name should be Beyblade Generations (yes I got that off Sonic Generations) and this is MY OPINION ONLY.
That would actually make sense since Hasbro has the Transformers Generations line of toys.

I really doubt it'll be plastics, as much as I'd love it. Even if it was, Hasbro never released a lot of very important parts, in particular a couple of extremely crucial weight disks, and I wouldn't expect that to change (as they weren't released with any full beyblades), so I don't even know if it would be that good for plastics as a whole (tonnes more demand for the same extremely important part)...

We're talking about this but honestly I'd not be surprised if they were just talking about early MFB (Metal System, perhaps? I mean, it is beyblade "legends" after all), though a more realistic and positive idea is new beys based on the main blades from plastics - which would let them release Byakko and Garudas (though I guess that those might come alongside the remaining things from Zero G like Balro and er was Wyvang in the wave that just arrived? If not, Wyvang with the Spring 2014 thing mentioned). We also technically didn't get a Zero-G Tyson character, even with Hasbro's Dragooon having the actual "Dragoon" name.

Or perhaps it'll be BeyWarriors etc with plastics-era bitbeasts as the monsters lol.

Life after Death, very common thus deep-rooted term. Personally, the fact that LAD and Precession are considered different things despite serving the same function, thus necessitating a distinction between the two without any practical reason for it.
Part of and the same thing as Zombies - which are spin stealers which use good LAD specifically to outlast their opponents (the way they make more efficient use of rotational energy), which then excludes those using precession from the term, though generally speaking because the difference is completely without practical point, myself and others (including historically though that's more because there wasn't really a distinction between precession and life after death) generally just use Zombie as a term for "thing that steals spin and makes better use of it to outspin opponents". In MFB, we use Spin Stealers specifically to refer to things that can actually outspin notable opponents by stealing spin, through any means (thanks to MFB having a lot more precession than actual LAD for the most part). All of this would be snipped down to a couple of sentences at absolute maximum if we chose one, new term that encompassed both Life after Death and Precession (something like Low RPM Survival perhaps, but that's still not quite right to me as good LAD also implies minimal scraping/stamina loss from non-tip contact with the stadium floor and that term doesn't cover it.) This isn't the place to discuss it, but seeing as you asked something related and it's something I still have a lot of thoughts about, well, there you go.

We did : Captain Arrow, Wyvang.

Wait, really? I was aware of the character but both he and his beyblade don't bear as strong a resemblance to Tyson as the other three do to their Bakuten Shoot counterparts. Oh well.
If it were the Metal System, it would make sense, considering they're counterparts we're the original "Legend" Series.

Still hoping it means something to do with Plastics, though.
I hope its not something predictable, garsley or boring like Gingka's/Zero's and their friends ANCESTORS. It will not be fun if that happens. I hope it is MFB, Bakuten Shoot and Zero G although I highly doubt that.
Oh, the mention of ancestors makes me wonder if it could be about those Bible-like characters that were shown sometimes in Metal Fight Beyblade to illustrate, for instance, L Drago's long-standing power.
And the legendary bladers ancestors.
Oh I hope its anything but a rehash of the Legend Bladers because I honestly thought Legend Bladers were boring (I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but it's my opinion and I hope you'll all respect it).

If the Legend Bladers were more interesting then sure I'd be all ears with the idea to have ancestors, unfortunetly Rago was the only interesting one whilst we had overrated Chris, bland Dunamis and Titi isn't that funny nor is he at all.
I'll find the specific link later, but while browsing Youtube, I found that about a month ago, Zankye commented on his Beyhunting video that Hasbro is rereleasing old Beyblades for the Legend line.

He never specifically stated if they were MFB or older, only mentioning he knew from his "connections".
I really suspect the metal system to be honest. Who knows. I think that'd be great though.
The Metal System only had slightly more than a dozen unique Beyblades though ... They could barely do an anime about them, if we are talking about characters. That being said, if Hasbro could release Metal System versions of Hybrid Wheel, 4D or Zero-G Beyblades, that would be great.

I don't think they'd be as concerned for an anime, since they'd already have Beywarriors: Cyborg airing for Fall 2014.

Heck, if this involves Plastics at all; they could just re-air it, which would be pretty awesome, but unlikely.
