General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Overall I love everything about what's in store for the normal hobby.

Am I the only one who noticed that stadium seems to be much larger and wider? Or is it just me?
Ugh...beywarriors...so...stupid...yet I want one for some reason. Why?! Did the 0G stadium have exits, or just pockets? And that guy, "the stadium attacks too" or whatever. Well, things are looking up for shogun steel. I can't wait!

I thought that 2!
Also i noticed that the stadium touches the floor the whole time....
I think Hasbro's "Samurai Cyclone" stadium only has pockets, not exits while the original Takara Tomy Zero-G Stadium did have exits.
I dont understand Hasbro's dubbing
Spere 360 -> Destroyer Dome
Zero-G Stadium -> Samurai Cyclone Stadium
They said the stadium alone was $36.99??

Also did that stadium have pockets too? Whats the use of that, they'll just bump right back into the play area. Hasbro...

Um, lets remember the important part that Hasbro could've easily removed the swaying feature, but they didn't go through with it. So yeah.
Barreto 36.99 for the battle set. Your 2nd question was just answered in the post above yours. And I personally think the pockets will be able to serve their purpose.
Interesting...

TBH, the stadium was kinda expected though, since the swaying concept is a major part in the anime. But, I am really happy that they're keeping Synchrom and everything like that. I was worried that it would be another Metal Fury. Name changes were expected. Honestly, I couldn't care less about Beywarriors. Everything else is awesome (for Hasbro).
I fully expect those pockets to have covered bottoms, but perhaps if that's the only modification, a template could be made for conversion to make them legal (though I wouldn't get my hopes up, as it might come across as 'unprofessional' at a time where looking professional is more important to the WBO than ever, though I would argue the benefit (allowing hasbro-limited people a legal stadium) outweighs that, as long as each modification can be inspected/standardised...)
Yeah I just noticed the pockets bottoms were covered!
Hopefully we won't get a name change as severe as Fusion Hades to Firefuse Darkhelm, although I am expecting one like that for Gladiator Bahamdia...
The reason they did that was because of the hades metal wheel they had named. Hades hades wouldn't have worked. And I believe someone said they saw/thought they saw ifraid changed to ifrit.
Yes, I watched the video again to verify that statement and it seems true. At about 6:10, the BeyWarrior says "Samurai Ifrit"
I prefer the name Ifrit to Ifraid...

also that Blue Orojya is definitely on my wish list!
I always love the massive amount of enthusiasm these guys have every year.

The whole Beywarriors showcase was one of the funniest things I'v ever seen in my life, literally.

That's the Dojo Locker, which is designed for Beywarriors.

Actually if you didnt notice the locker didnt say "Beywarriors" it said "Shogun Steel"
So i am thinking that it can be used for both "warriors" and "beys", and also posibly a luancher grip.
Can anyone give me the link to the video? My browser isn't letting me view it

Well, the Dojo Locker comes with a comes packaged with a Beywarrior, which the guy says is Ninja Salamander. Also, if you haven't noticed, the line is Beywarriors Shogun Steel. Weird that the locker has the Beyblade Shogun Steel logo though... Oh, wait the Beywarrior two pack also has the regular logo (Beyblade) as well, but the single pack has the correct one (Beywarriors). Odd.
Hopefully they will release grips for the compact launchers, its very hard to use them without a grip...

I may be mistaken, but haven't they done that already ... ?
Or am I just thinking of a different launcher to you?

I might ask someone with precision to cut out the bottoms of the pockets to make exits.

I mean the launchers that come with the Samurai Cyclone Battle set, did hasbro sell launcher grips for them?
The BeyWarrior battles aren't as bad/short as I imagined they would be haha. The interlocking of the arms was cool.

I wonder if stuff like this just goes over their heads, or if they're actually aware that what they're doing makes no sense.

I hope we see more stuff like this! Although, I'd have to see a clearer picture of that Oroyja to determine if it actually looks good or not; I hope the paint isn't matte.

It is definitely much wider and shallower than any of the TAKARA-TOMY stadiums. It also has four clips to attach the cover to the bowl, instead of three, like the TAKARA-TOMY ZERO-G stadiums.

At this point I can't say if something like that would be legal, but I'll probably be doing it for my own personal use once I get the stadium.
I cant see the video at the moment, but reading the posts, it sounds like really good news! I totally knew thaey were gonna call Saramanda Salamander and I figured they might do the same for Ifraid. They will probably call Phoenic Phoenix considering they didn't already use that name. The stadium sounds awesome, but 40 bucks is kinda expensive. I just wanna get their Dragooon, mine's face recently broke. Did Orojya actually have a MSF? It would be weird for them to start releasing Metal Faces in regular packaging, so I was wondering if they replaced it will a regular one.
It's hard to tell by watching the video, but it seems that Orojiya does not have the metal face.
