General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Wow, the faceoff customs actually have CLEAR parts. I like that much better.
ok sry my bad i was just making a conclusion so dont yell at me.... seriously
"Twisted Tempo 145WD". It really is Basalt Horogium 145WD ...
What can I say? Haters gonna hate. But yeah, they are going to release Poison Virgo as, well, Poison Virgo. Enough said :\ But I still don't understand what was so bad about Basalt. Twisted sounds much worse, and sounds stupider anyways. I don't get the Basalt name changes at all. And Destroyer? Perseus is not bad at all, he's a Greek hero...
omg so how are they gonna put ldrago destroy
Is it just me or is Ray Serpent equipped with M145 AND ES!? (from the looks of the tip)

Hold me. (Unless the picture quality is messing with me and it is just Q)
^FFFFFFFFFFFFF. Hasbro always has to have that poison dart in the raisin tart (Eragon reference). But it doesn't matter if it's ES or Q, that bey is eternally doomed anyways.
I think i know where they got tempo from. When its really silent and you could hear a clock, it makes this ticking noise, just like a tempo. Am i right? Ohwell.
Because we ALL LOVE M145! Grin THANKS, HASBRO!

Heh, glad to see we are now sure that twisted tempo is basalt horogium.

Tempo is Italian for time (I think mainly in the musical sense). And it generally refers to Time anyway. You're thinking of a metronome.

Exactly, he's a GREEK hero. If you google it then you get about 200 pictures of greek statues of him. greek statues contain nudity.

I'm sure Hasbro wants to avoid the 10 million phone calls of concerned parents. "Hello, why did you name a beyblade after a NAKED man!?!"
I think "Prism" would be a more decent Hasbro-Standard renaming for Basalt.

EDIT:

Parents who carp and moan about very little references no one automatically notice have too much time on their hands to even be speaking on the phone.

I agree. But kids WILL google "perseus". Parents WILL get mad. It happens.

So you/they want to be racist towards everything Greek at this point, because one way or another you will see that sort of statue if you search on Google Images ...

It does not make them better to change the name, you see.
I think most kids know all about the statue of David. I don't think it's a big concern.

well considering the fact that lots of kids/parents may have seen clash of the titans, they will think of Perseus as a dressed hero, not a naked hero

sorry if i am being offtopic

Not being racist towards Greeks. The Greeks just loved to depict naked people. Ancient Greeks anyway, I have no idea about modern Greeks.
Wow, isn't there a border between racist attitudes and childish generalization? People who are not racist have accidentally made generalizations at some point when they were young. We were all (not saying we aren't) young before.

Anyway, I think orange and green are terrible color schemes for a recolored Thermal Lacerta.
So did many of their (roughly) contemporaries. The statue of David, for example, is Roman.

Nonetheless, I doubt parents would immediately google "Perseus" as an image search, I expect they'd end up on wikipedia or something.

Nonetheless, the mention of Perseus being in clash of the titans is interesting. I'm guessing it's a trademark issue again.

after posting that i had the same idea, it may be that

either way we can just call the name changed beyblades the original names that takara-tomy gave them in the fist place
However, we will have to deal with newbies coming in talking about their "Twisted Aquario" "Ray Tempo" and asking "WHAT IS A BASALT"
At least I wont have to spend 75$ on tornado herculeo and hopefully we can test alot now. And look for different molds. Speaking of molds, I wonder if Hasbro produced gravity wheel stronger and Ray too.... Im pretty excited about Metal Masters. =P. But what will SCREW be?.... Distorted Capricorne? Thats dope if you ask me. Cool
Im sorry I cant take this conversation seriously i mean i cant stop laughing I can see it now.

Kid: MOMMY MY BEYBLADE IS A NAKED MAN!
mother: GET OFF THAT SITE YOuNG MAN
hasbro: We had no idea he was grown man naked. honestly
WOOOWW! I cant see my BCR I just wrote on this thread or other members posted after me.. Definitley the server and the population.

EDIT: nevermind it works now after refreshing the page 4 times.
This happens with a lot of pages. Anyway...

Tornado is already more readily available due to RBV7, but it's really not very good, FWIW...
Been getting the same problems lately man. Lol.
As for other wheels like Screw, I think it will stay that way IF they release it. Don't ask me why, but I think it will just stay the same.
Then again Byxis is still Byxis, and Basalt is Twisted.
Who the hell knows what blasphemy Hasbro has in store for us.
