General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

Hasbro: We saw the cartoonnetwork show with the real 4d parts with our names. Better release them fake or we might see a lawsuit on our hands.

Do you have even the slightest idea how law works?

At all?

...not sure if really bad at being sarcastic... or just plain ignorant...

The bottom line is:

Hasbro is treating the mode changes as 'hokey pokey fairy tale magic' and 'cannot happen' in the toyline AKA real life. So they removed it. That simple.
Seeing that the metal fury anime has included mode changes etc maybe hasbro will make beys with mode changes and will give those beys names starting with ultimate?Like ultimate cosmic pegasus and tell everyone that "this is the new ultimate version of it",or make a new xts toyline called Extreme battlers,or continue the legend series thing with legend cosmic pegasus.Who knows?

That could be true, but there might be others, including that. The japanese episodes are just imported with VA changes ... so I doubt Hasbro would want to re-do the episodes to take out the mode changes. However, is Hasbro legally entitled to produce everything like it is in the Anime? I don't think so, lol. And we all know that special moves don't work, so kids don't expect them to work in the toyline. Maybe Hasbro just thought that it wouldn't be a big deal to remove the modes?

This is true ...

I completely agree that this will likely be their explanation for any accusations of "false advertising" in the anime. Sickening, but nonetheless valid.
Even though hasbro makes mode changing etc what's the point? They will just hollow the bey.
Hmm, sorry to just jump right in, but why not show them a BBP and compare it to Cosmic? Show the mode change, and that it can happen ...
Just my two cents.

lol, iirc, Hasbro couldn't care less about what the WBO thinks.
Oh, I know that. It is just that they can not say that it is fairy tail magic when it's Japanese counterpart can ...
They might be doing this to make all beys equal? But my point can't be really true as storm capricorne can't be equal to basalt lol.Maybe they don't want to make beys with mode changes and without being hollowed as the kids would only buy that particular bey which is strong enough to defeat all the other beys which will result in a huge loss for them without kids buying the other beys.
Kids don't care what type of bey it is. For all they know, a Cyber Pegasus is strong ... All they care about is; is this bey strong in the anime? Kids would not think to buy say VariAres for Attack. They think defense.

Speaking of this, did any kids notice the changes in face motifs in Metal Fusion (ex. Dark "Gasher" still has the word "CANCER" printed on the face)? It's a much smaller change, obviously, but I thought I'd quickly bring it up...
I know I noticed it, i.e., Aquila. Although, you could have a potential legitimate argument with Hasbro about how Japanese have mode changes, and we don't ...
Got Cosmic, Destructor, and Forbidden.
First impressions:
They look nice. REALLY nice.
Minus you know, the Pegasus II face which is supposed to be Pegasus III.
>:I
Yes, I do like the aesthetics of Forbidden. I was going to get VariAres for the fun of it, but the RipCord and code (not that I care) were gone, and the box was trashy. Except K-Mart would only reduce the price by 10%. So i got Beat Lynx.

Excellent. Another event in which I can attempt to recruit more members for the WBO! Eee

Is this just in Canada? Because I live in the U.S.
Yes, just in Canada. Though if you had read the previous posts, you would find out ...
Not that this means anything, but I found a quite hilarious typo:

Eh, you can clearly see the Prototype Nemesis Face mark by Hasbro here :

That is just a kids "drabble" ...

It is also weird that they stop there and do not show Duo, etc. Still, some cool recolours are coming in Faceoff Sets, that is certain.
It looks like Cheshire Cat that hadn't bathed and contracted mange. I'm not gonna have any problems replacing it with a plain-clear facebolt.

I only own Forbidden at the moment, but I love how the face came out on it. The MW looks great, too. Grin

All of these look a lot nicer than I thought they would initially.

My thoughts are this. Get the recolors of Hasbro beyblades and if they come out with the original product get that. Also what is the typo?

Not at hasbro's price point, apparently.

The explanation still stands for what it is for, anyway.
