My technique works best if you are not lazy and is very patient:
zoom in until you see boxes, then follow the boxes. it could take awhile, and if you zoom out you will see a huge amount of paths, which is good.

this works with everything except hair
Booom.....
Ur trick is good but I prefer to use Magbetic Lasso Tool To make renders easily In CS6 I really make renders easily these days Smile
You have to be a certain lvl.
For one, brushes ARE NOT important...
Dafont.com 4 fonts
Brusheezy 4 brushes
othellog Sometimes Brushes can give you impossible shapes, but I do agree with you.

Anyways, Here's a tutorial I cooked Up myself:

EDIT: Is it just me, or is this thread not moving that much? Maybe because of the "GFX"in it.
I understand that GFX is the shorter term, but can we PLEASE CHANGE IT TO GRAPHICS?
What about this is it ok. And if not what can i use to make it better.

That is a really cool idea though, just add some lighting and depth and it will be very good.
Here's a list of need to know tuts:

Actually thats really good bro Grin
Cartmans abstract C4D tut right, thank goodness for Cartman lol.

Post it in the thread at GI BTW
I would love to join GuildInn--if it would let me.
Huh bro, why won't it let you, is it an error?
Tetsu why isn't letting you join? I just joined yesterday so things should be fine

othellog you got it wrong mate! It's cartman's 2nd abstract c4d tut, I done the tutorial today, although my result was quite bad...(another abstract c4d tut)

He might not be giving away. Just might be showing his resizing skill.
Tetsu that was what I meant, guys as said before I am a bit busy so I can't do everything like normally I got much time left but there are in need with a lot of work to develop the game that I am going for right now Smile
I have kinda stopped GFX but man that is some nice work ,dude u just keep getting better and better

cnc?
btw guys which ones better this one or my sig?
Well, I'm pretty sure you used Cartmans Borderlands Tut, you would get a way better result if you followed the tut EXACTLY, Cartman stresses that a lot.
Plus you need to work on choosing a render. Never choose a flat render, choose something with natural shadows. For example the render I used 4 my celibi tag looks like it has depth. But I used black soft brushes to give it shadows, therefor it was not a good render to use. Start out with 3-D video game characters Smile
@Blaze12xz Yesterday you said it was better than anything, infact you also said it was going to be the best. So that's what you're going to use for the battle? The render is really bad quality. I agree with othellog, follow the tutorial exactly how it is.
i used this, its 3D ...right?

btw i didnt used cartmans borderland tut
i used the tech border tut by altjoker
http://www.guildinn.com/forum/beginners/...orial.html
i did follow it properly and i used the exact same render as the tut (by Drag()n) on sigresource
oh well, i wont be using this one then
i will use my sig and edit it a bit or make another one
