I searched beforehand, and I couldn't find anything.. So if there's already a thread for this, please close.
So, what are your rarest coins? Or your coin collection?
Probably my rarest coin is a 1943 Australian Penny. Currently I'm trying to find out whether or not it's worth around $30, or a bit less than $40,000. I'm trying to figure out what the "Proof" is, I haven't searched about it yet, so idk, but it was minted in Perth.
Quote from Wikianswers and other sources:
"An Australian 1943 bronze Penny (George VI)(minted in Perth - mintmark = "Y."), uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch up to $115 AUD. If it has been circulated but still in good condition, it might fetch anything from $0.75 to $28 AUD.
There were 33.086 million minted.
An Australian 1943 bronze Penny (George VI)(Proof)(minted in Perth - mintmark = "Y."), uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch up to $40,000 AUD. "

I'm REALLY hoping that it's the proofed one... If so that would be amazing.
