General B-Daman Thread

The WBDO is just unoriginal. Seriously, if anything. it would be the:

BDF -B-Daman Forum

Okay that will help me greatly. I wonder how many of these new b-daman will talk and I wonder what a basic b-daman looks like seeing as so far it looks like everyone has an unique one.
i'm amazed at the amount of parts rev dravise has to use, in episode 3 I think that would be extremely hard to manouver without the roller wheels.

Thanks.

You can also buy them here:http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?Word=b-daman&x=0&y=0&Dae=All&Series=All&Dis.
Might get Rev Dravise, Thunder Sasword, or Acceyle Dracyan[One of the three] soon.
EDIT: That's if I don't spend the money on Phantom Orion.@ StormDrago553: Acceyle Dracyan can talk, not quite sure about the others though.
Here we go again... Wonder when they will come to SG

Yea I knew Rev Dravise can talk I was just wondering how many more would be able to. I know about that site and I got stuff from them before but the issue is they dont any of the new ones listed thus why I am having a hard time looking for any of them.
hey guys anything I can help with? theorising or anything, i can't wait for the next episode.
Guys, every b-daman found in that secret facility can talk. I'm currently aiming to get all three rapid fire type b-daman, Torque Beargar, and Stroke Orochi to make my custom b-daman along with some tune-up gear in the next two weeks.
Beycenter, how much longer until you make the b-daman vid and someone else posts in this topic?
It does not fully depend on me. Please be patent, because I have%
hey guys, I realised I could always design beys I reckon will be in the anime? i already drew one, more towards the old school because I don't have a new B-daman.

anyway these B-daman seem almost too overpowered to be true, already they've come out with incredibly good ideas, seems like they got some extremely good designers in.
I'm PREDICTING that they will make a motorized core. If they do........... I AM SO GETTING THAT. Believe me, that will put impact and force on the B-daBall
you know what BeyCentre, i've already designed something along those lines, which might be even better, do you want to see it?
Ya sure!! BTW, Just a second ago. almost literally, My doorbell rang and guess what came in.. That's right. REV DRAVISE. Unboxing will be up SOON.
holy cow I wanna see, and heres the mighty design:

basically the 2 wheels at the end of the barrel are motor pwoered, to 3 settings:

off

boost

barrage

in boost it gives a slight push, barrage is extremely fast, also you can put curve on the ball, by putting one roller on boost, and the other barrage, any questions?
The link does not work, even in new tab or window.... But anyway. I'm setting up this second! I just need to do a few adjustments and I will start

EDIT: You fixed it. Thanks. I must say, It looks amazing. Just can't tell what the thing in the back is. Is it a Blaster?
check again BeyCenter, also can you please put close ups of the cores, and the insides and outsides of all parts please? I need to know the statistics for my designs.
Alright, I will, But my camera has no focus, So It may be a but hard. But I will be doing some picture slide shows of close ups so that may help entirely!
also what do you think of the design, any questions? I hope this could help with the ideas of what they might do, Mega Diabros was a hint that they might make a motorised B-daman
Ya, It's definitely a cool Idea. I just need a little more time, and I will be off to unbox!
Hey bring it over when you come.

Anyways I really need to see this beast.

The following post will provide information on both previous systems using gyros, wheels, and motors to propel marbles, as well as additional ideas/critique on your design. By no means am I trying to be condescending, just trying to help you out. Smile

You will need a "drive' wheel where the marble will be loaded if you want to fully rely on motors. This "drive wheel" is used to push the marble into the MAIN motors that provide the main propulsion out of the B-Daman. Otherwise, you'll need to use a mechanism similar to Gatling Hades, where the marbles were "pushed" toward the gyro-wheel via gravity.

Gatling Hades used gravity to drop the b-dama down into the gyro-wheel when a "door" was opened. This door opened via a button.

Megadiablos used electric motors for the main propulsion after the marbles were somehow driven into them. As I never fully looked into my Megadiablos, I would assume it used a motorized drive wheel to propel the marbles into the main pair of motors.

Personally I find that using another motor to propel the marbles into a pair or sequence of motors better than using gravity.

Your design will need to properly house the motors and wheels, as well as any wiring and battery housings needed to power said motors.

Motors will definitely need wheels that are either made of rubber or have rubber strips on them to grip the marbles. They lighter they are, the faster the motor will spool up to full speed. However you might want a motor that provides more torque as opposed to top-end/final speed (which can take a while). More torque in the motor will provide a faster "spool up" speed at the loss of final speed. It is your choice to choose which type of motor you want though, high-torque or high-speed.

I suggest using potentiometers instead of having switches, this way you can directly control how much strength each motor has as opposed to using on/off switches. You can probably mount the potentiometers and their knobs so it is ergonomic to use the B-Daman without having to put your hands in different spots just to adjust/fire/move etc.

You might be able to integrate a system similar to Revolver Hades' core, where the barrel rotates. By having a giant cylinder instead of the current proposed "legs", you can potentially rotate the cylinder (and the motors, but how much you can rotate depends on how you mount the motors), adjust the strength of individual motors, and thus be able to do backspins, front spins, etc. However this will make the design much more complicated, so keep it simple for now and upgrade later.

If you wanted to be ridiculous and intimidating, you could probably have a sequence of motors (more than 2, something like 6 total?) in a straight line all liked up electrically (parallel, preferably, to avoid the whole system shutting down due to one bad motor not working), all hooked up to one potentiometer (3 motors + 1 potentiometer for the left half, same for the right).

How the B-Daman will be fed marbles is completely up to you.

With wheel/motor designs, the power/strength of each shot is generally weaker than that of "true" Power type B-Daman, but you can the ability to fill the entire playing field with marbles, playing by the "accuracy by volume" (statistically speaking you WILL most definitely hit something) strategy.
Alright Guys. Pictures Taken. Unboxing Done. B-DaBlaster put together. Tested! All set. The vide will be edited and uploaded after this weekend. I will be out of town for the weekend and I am leaving today. I barely have time to edit and I will be leaving SOON! My thoughts:

Rev Dravise is certainly unique and cool looking. The feet have two wheels on them and they help with moving side to side! But I was kinda dissapointed at one thing. It is much weaker then the old ones. I tested it eagainst cobalt blade and the power was MUCH MUCH weaker. Pictures, Unboxing and such will be up soon and you know where to look.
BDamanStation and BxDaCenter!
My shipment will FINALLY be preped for departure Monday, so WabbitStation will have vids as well!
YAYS. Finally some vids are going to be made, it's stinks that I have to wait till Monday to see Rev Dravise by the way it's weaker because of its type rapid fire isn't meant to be powerful.

~large quote~

basically the way you push the marbles into the motors is the usual core where you press the trigger and the motors add to speed. Also I was thinking of maybe this design being not too overpowered, so something extremely menacing might also cause problems with the B-daballs, which are only made of plastic, and you'd need incredibly dense B-daballs to stop breakages. the rotating wheels are rubber, and the housing for the motor would be on the back of the B-daman.

I was thinking of high speed for the more, rapid-fire feel of the B-daman, hence the special Wide B-daloader at the back, which feeds an immense amount of B-daballs. I think if I ever have the ability/ parts and mechanical help, aka school laser cutters, I might make this B-daman. until then I will keep adding to this design.
