Gaming Random Thoughts

Today I was all hyped up because skate 3 came in the mail.
Hardware failure right in the intro of skate 3. FML

Well, my 360 was good while it lasted...

Edit: My original Xbox still works, but my Xbox 360 doesn't. Looks like quality was better back in the old days. lol

Unfortunately PS3 doesn't have Halo. The Halo franchise is the reason I bought an Xbox and an Xbox 360.

The PS3 also has some excelent exclusives though. Smile

:] fixed, my bad

Wow, this is a really clever use of Move! Not sure if I would buy it, but quite cool nonetheless.
Zomgosh, War For Cybertron <3 <3

Reviews are pointing at this being this year's Arkham Asylum. Incidentally, both were $40 at Wal-Mart at launch (WFC is for a few more days IIRC), and I got a 360 copy instead of the PS3. Although in my case, that's because I wasn't the one who bought War For Cybertron.
So like Level 5 and Studio Ghilbi announced Ninokuni (The Another World) for PS3, and it looks insanely gorgeous.

is final fantasy 13 worth the buy for someone who has never played a FF game before?

You're going to get mixed opinions on this, but I say go for it. It's a good starting point for "noobs" to the FF series.
I'm actually going to rent FFXIII once I finish Peace Walker, and War For Cybertron.
I was at GameStop about a week ago and I saw the first Metroid Prime for only $4. I was pretty suprised lol. I also saw Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg for $5 my friend Ryan has been looking for that game since it came out so of course I texted him about it. I also saw Beyblade V Force Super Tournament Battle for on $2!!!

Also Spider-man Web of Shadows is a really good game, in the game venom is trying to take over the city and he infects people and turns them into like zombies or whatever.

and what is with zombies being in every video game these days lol.
I'm spending way too much time playing Assassin's Creed 2. It the only game I've played for 5 days straight and I'm almost done with it, but I had planned to play Bioshock and Dead Space more as well.

Wow, you're more addicted to that than I am to Megaman games! Speaking of which, anyone know where to find a Megaman X Collection game? 6 "X" games in one will nearly complete me!
Well with the exception of some side missions I completed Assassin's Creed 2 with all the feathers, codex pages, and glyphs in about 31 hours with only 22 deaths ( most from poorly excecuted leaps of faith). Since I have 100% completion on the Villa finally, I am going to play more Dead Space.

That's because no one likes that garbage series.

No, it's not.
I have to admit the Battle Network Games were pretty fun but the X series is alot better especially the Megaman X Zero series
Megaman Zero was actually my favorite of the series besides the plot inconsistency.
It's all about Legends bro.

In reality you can't beat the old-school games, they were made back when games were challenging. These days games are made so that anyone can play them and so halfway through they become a chore and boring. X at least came at a time when we hadn't completely eradicated the challenge from games.
Battle network is just "*tap tap tap tap* won. Now what's next. Oh. *Tap etc* Well, at least that's over. Oh...*Switch to Hello Kitty Roller Rescue for the difficulty and variation upgrade*"

I'm not saying it's a horrible game, it has a decent idea behind it, but it didn't seem to translate well from idea to game.

Well even though alot of video games are like that these days, some video games are still like the old school games were like all of the new Nintendo 2D platformer games that have been coming out lately. Besides the classic games aren't all that challenging most of them were quit easy especially the Megaman games, Mario, Pac-Man, and Sonic.
