------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey all you UK bladers It's mine and LeeDraciel's turn to bring you another official tournament!

Specific info:

When: 26th of February 11.30am until it finishes. (Tournament will start by 12.30 - 13:00pm) If you do turn up after 12.30 there is a chance you won't be able to take part!

Where: At the bandstand
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=re...4&t=h&z=19
ControL_'s Guide

Directions to the bandstand:

OK heads up guys, you want to be taking the following buses that pass by (or are close): 13, 46, 82, 113, 187. The 13 and 46 are one stop away so walk around the edge of St Johns Wood high street. From here on, you wil lwant to enter the park via the entrance by the mosque. The Mosque is labelled on the linked map added on the OP.

Now train wise, you guys want to get the Jubilee line somewhat and get off at Bakers street (Jubilee, metropolitain, bakerloo and some more?). From bakers street station you want to walk down the road on the right of the entrance/exit for 50 metres, cross the small road and enter through the main of the parks entrances, you can't miss it! At this stage you will be at a duck/swan feeding area and on your immediate right is a big bridge. You want to go cross that bridge and when your across the 30 metre long bridge, you want to turn left and walk up that path. For about 100 metres walking straight following the path, you will reach the bandstand - easy! For this route you should use this map. (Bandstand at top middle, bridge is at the direct bottom : Route A

The other route, to get here you can get off at St Johns Wood station, get the bus 113/82/13 outside and take it for 2 stops to the mosque (then walk down hangover road to entrance). Enter through the hangover road entrance. From the entance you will see a largish playground, a pond; there are many kids yellow paddling boats here in this small pond, and across this pond is the boathouse cafe, a cafe. Route B map Looking at the map, you can see the pond. Walk down the outlined path hugging the lake. You should aim to walk all the way down that path till you reach the bridge as described in route A. Again walk up 100metres up the straight path and your there. - The bandstand is the small white circle in the bottom right of the link. Hangover road entrance is in the top right, to the right of that is the playground and the pond.

These are two easiest ways to get there via public transport and walking!

A little water never killed anyone, not an adult at least, expect to see me.
I live 10 mins away, the floor is pretty dry right now. Rain to pick up heavily at 12. We have bandstand cover at least so don't worry too much. Lightens down half way through the tourny?

Wow,I'm glad that the Libra wheel is now unbanned, good thing I kept my one!
I was close to selling it! :o

Well again have FUN!!! Smile
I had a lot of fun meeting everyone today Smile
Very much look forward to the next tournament. Hopefully it will be dry and sunny
It is already finished ? How many people went this time, hah ?
Finished at 5:00pm, so half an hour after ZE120's post.

Erm Double elimination was complicated as some people dropped out, but the judges did very well molding around that.

First: Matt/Blitz
Second: Me again... / ControL_
Third: LeeDraciel

Seems like less people than lass time: 50+?
What were the combos Blitz, yourself, and LeeDraciel used?

Plenty of MF-H Basalt Bull/Aquario/Cancer 230CS mirror matches.

Hahaha, that's not surprising at all. Not a good sign, though!

Low Earth WD was dreadful
Barely saw any Attack Beyblades
230CS dominated with Hell/Flame/Basalt
Hell BD145 WD/EWD/ HF/S / CS etc also did well.
Had a great time today guys, my first ever win! I got way to excited haha. Thanks to all the people that turned up even with the not so great weather! We had 58 people attend and 56 people took part (according to my lists).

It was great seeing some old/new faces like cutewolfsam, Ultrablader, ZE12O and more.

Also BladeStorm really did give me a run for my money today, made me lose the first time I faced him kicking me in to the losers block but I bought it back... just! Also beat Lee for the first time ever which I was really happy about haha!

Anyway hope everyone enjoyed themselves and hope to see you all at the next one!
Raffle Winners:

1. LeeDraciel - NIB Basalt Horogium + extra accessories
2. ThePokeBlader - NIB Earth Aquila starter
3. Linh004 - NIB Storm Pegasus
4. A lady refering only to herself as "The Winner" - NIP Dark Wolf
I used MF-H Basalt Cancer 230CS/D, but I believe it's all about the launch. I gave it to people to try and use, different launch methods with D changes the outcome completely.

Donations will be made soon, need to figure out actual profit margin, so eye's out Kei/Kai-V.
Andd great turnout, can't wait for next months!
Haha had a great time today guys, good seeing Cutewolfsam; it's been over a year Tongue_out

Didi relatively well, since I was in a group with LeeDraciel and Arkboy, hope I can win the group next time Grin
That MF-H Basalt Cancer 230CS spanked me good. I had no idea what to use against that so I took a stab in the dark with Meteo-LDrago 90WD and failed horribly.
I see LeeDraciel's Libra combo put up a good fight against it, anyone remember what that was?
what was chosen by who ???

it was fun even though i lost at three but at least i won more than my judge (i cant remeber who i wad in control_'s group)
Had a lot of fun today at my first tourney in ages. The weather was pretty bad, had to wash my jeans and bag when I got home. Didn't do well as far as points, only won 3/9 matches. Very few people using Attack combos, maybe destabilisers are the way.
That was sooo much fun!!!!!!!!

Yep so you did better than Black Phoenix as he was our judge.
For most of my matches I used MF-H Basalt Cancer 230D... Sometimes switched D with CS. Then in the finals i was outspun by a better condition CS than mine (Blitz's), but vengefully beat Lee who used (MF-H) Libra 230D? Not completely sure, Lee can confirm if he wants to.
today was really fun, i thaught i did quite well only loozing to blitz and bladestorm,

but bladestorms deception tactics are dirty, may have to do that myself,
but cant wait till next tourney and for the beypoints 2 be up...

thx again matt and lee for hosting another great tourney, and thanx to all the brilliant atendees.
Damn you lee! lol ill get you back!
anyways great tournament but not the best one Confused
although i still enjoyed it and at least i got a prize for the raffle! ha!
