Host : Virtuous Circle
Judge : Me, joeyflanders50, The First Cause
This is "WBBA" style "5G" tournament. Rules are explained briefly as the following;
1. You need "5 combos" without repeating parts.
2. Only One dual spin layer allowed. Dual spin layer means you can change the direction of spin, for example, astral, world, lord and master layer. Spin direction is allowed to change after showing the bey to the opponent.
2-1. What if both players use dual spin layer combos at the same time? Turn around, decide the direction with your launcher, and show it to the judge. And resume the battle.
3. Points. 3 points to win. KO and burst are 2 points. Outspin is 1 point. Regardless of contact or non-contact, KO is 2 points.
4. Back wall bounce rule? If a bey goes out of the stadium, hits the back wall of the stadium cover and bounces back in without touching the pocket floor, it is still "in-play". If both beys go out into the pocket, the first one which stops spinning loses the battle.
5. No gattyaki (mid-air sniping) allowed. Both beys need to touch the stadium, then the battle starts officially.
6. Numbered box will be ready at the stadium. You can put your beys in the numbered spot. When you are ready, present it to the judge, then judge will inspect it. When both players are ready, judge will pass the bey out to the player based on the order.
7. If you miss the stadium without touching the stadium floor, you still have another chance to launch. If you miss it again, the opponent will receive 1 point.
8. Draw? Move onto next one. No repetitive launching needed.
9. Spinning rule. Whichever moves or falls or rolls or wobbles last, will win.
I know it looks so complicated. Just remember #1 & #2. Judges are ready to help you out to enjoy WBBA 5G battle.
Participant Cap : 12
Prizes : Trophies for top 3 players
Location : Check #1 amphitheater. If it's occupied, check #2 picnic area. If occupied, it will be #3 under the tree.
