Soon, they stopped at a shed and someone in a brown sweatshirt was waiting outside. ‘Woah, Akuma’s friend looks insanely powerful! I can’t wait to battle him!’ Forrest observed.
“Took ya long enough Akuma,” The unnamed person said. “ Who are they?”
“I ran into one of the amatarios bladers. I think it was the shining one that tried to destroy these guys over here,” Akuma replied. “The one in dark blue is Forrest, and the one wearing red is Roan.”
“You guys know Count Night and the amatarios blader?” Forrest asked, surprised.
“Yeah, we were out blading one day until Count Night stole my Mad Minoboros. We followed him to his base and luckily, I got Minoboros back. By the way, my name is Machiko, but people call me Minos because the minotaur was named after him,” Machiko said.
Forrest and Roan followed Akuma into the shed. Inside the shed lay a beystadium, and the shed seemed a lot bigger than what it looked like. Forrest noticed someone in a corner, and so did Akuma and Roan.
“Hey Enji! This is Roan and Forrest,” Akuma said, as he looked around. “Where’s Phinei?”
“Phinei had to go to the dentist, that’s always what he says. But, I’m pretty sure he’s just going to the arcade. Anyway, let’s test these newcomers out!” Minos yelled behind them. “We’ll do a team battle, me and Akuma versus Forrest and Roan. Enji, can you judge the match for us?”
“Sure,” said the person named Enji.
Just before the match was about to start. Minos frowned at Forrest’s launcher. ‘Why is he frowning at my launcher? There isn’t anything wrong with my launcher right?’ Forrest asked himself. Minos pointed at Forrest’s launcher.
“Is that your actual launcher?” he asked. “If so, why are you using a proto launcher? Here, take this.”
Minos proceeded to open a drawer and toss Forrest an upgraded launcher. ‘Wow! This is a LR launcher! It’s even blue to match Fenrir’s color and it comes with a grip! I’ll set it in right spin,’ Forrest’s thoughts were soon interrupted.
“Forrest, don’t get distracted!” Roan chided, about to launch his beyblade.
Forrest quickly put Ferir on his new launcher.
“Go, shoot!” Enji yelled.
Forrest launched Fenrir just in time.
“Minoboros! Labyrinth launch!” Minos yelled.
Minoboros started skipping around the stadium, and spinning in an unbalanced way. ‘It’s strange that it spins that way,’ Forrest thought, as he noticed the unevenness of the driver and the added weight to one side of the disk.
“Attack him! Revenge!” Roan yelled.
Minos smirked at Revenge’s move. Suddenly, Minoboros uppercutted Revenge, and sent it flying. Minos’s smirk quickly disappeared as Revenge barely stayed in the stadium.
“Roan!” Forrest yelled.
But, Fenrir was suddenly hit by Kagutsuchi. ‘What!’ Forrest thought. ‘I’m going to finish this.’
“Fang Fenrir! It’s time! Vanargand’s Fang!” He yelled, as a huge wolf appeared beside him.
“Revenge Smash!” Roan yelled, quickly catching on to Forrest’s plan.
“Minoboros! Don’t let them win! Mad Man’s Charge!”
Out of nowhere, a half-bull half-man appeared on the stadium. It was surrounded with a dark brown aura. The beys met in a furious clash, and the wind caused by the contact made Forrest slide back a good distance.
“Kagutcuchi!” Akuma yelled.
“What?” All three bladers yelled.
All Forrest saw was a red streak, and then came the explosion. After the smoke cleared, there were the bursted parts of Fenrir, Revenge and Minoboros. Forrest turned to see that Kagutsuchi stopped spinning, but he knew that Akuma and Minos had won the match.
“Again!” Forrest yelled. “This time, we’ll beat you guys.”
“Okay, ready set! 3, 2, 1, Go shoot!” They all yelled, as their determination echoed throughout the city.
