Chapter 9: Defeat Phi!
[Valt and Drake were looking for Phi in the Dread Tower]
[Drake puts his hands behind his head]
Drake: Man.... his home is so big....
Valt: Yeah.... But let's keep looking for him.
[Suddenly they saw someone standing on top of the tower]
Drake/Valt: There's someone there!
Drake: Let's see who goes to the first!
Valt: You bet!
[Drake and Valt began racing, but Valt was faster than him and Drake lost...]
[Both of them began huffing under a heavy load]
Valt: *huff* *huff* looks like.... I won!
Drake: [fells down] *huff* I'll win next time!
???: What are you doing here? Valt?
Valt: Heh, Nice to see you again Phi!
Phi: Same to you.
[Drake stands up and looks at Phi]
Drake: So you're the one who has a strong defence type bey?
Phi: Strong?
[Phi smiles]
Phi: Maybe you can say I'm the strongest.
Drake: Great! Then I'm gonna battle you!
Phi: I've saw what you can do.... Drake Kazeryu. I saw your battle against Ben.
Drake: I'm gonna show you Dragoon's true strength [He shows Dragoon to Phi]
Phi: *sighs* Very well then... But I guess you should show your true strength to the whole world not me.
Drake: What do you mean?
Phi: Follow me.
[Drake and Valt began to follow Phi]
Valt: Where are you taking us?
Phi: It's a surprise.
Phi: Here we are
[There was the Dread Tower Arena]
Phi: I never got the chance to battle Valt... But you remind me of someone. Your aura feels just like his.
[Valt got surprised]
Valt: You don't sound like your old self... It doesn't seems like you used to destroy beys.
[Drake shouts]
Drake: You used to destroy beys?!
Phi: Yeah... I used too. But now I've changed, My goal was to become the god of beyblade, destroy every bey... I wanted to reach my goal so bad that I lost myself in the process.
[Phi smiles]
Phi: I guess the most important part of life is to just be yourself.
Drake: *Sighs*
Valt: I never thought that I would hear these words from you, Phi.
Phi: Isn't that the point? Until people get to know the real you, their stereotypes don't mean much.
Phi: Looks like it's time, Drake.
Drake: Yeah! I don't care if you have changed or not. I'll beat you good!
Phi: Let's get started then. Damon, time for you to show up!
Damon: Alright! I hope you all are fired up!! Phi is challenged by a novice Blader! Drake Kazeryu!
[At Inferno Corp.]
[Ben was watching his match]
Valt: Fine then, Drake good luck!
Drake: Thanks.
Phi: You ready? Dread Phoenix is waiting for you.
[He shows Dread Phoenix to Drake]
Drake: Phoenix? It looks like a simple Turbo bey....
[Phi flips his hair and takes out his launcher]
Drake: Alright let's get started!
Drone: First Battle, Ready set!
Drake/Phi: Three....two...one.
Drake/Phi: Let it rip!!
[Phoenix heads for the centre]
Drake: Attack, Dragoon!
[Dragoon hits phoenix and pulls out it's armor]
Drake: Wait a sec... what?
Phi: Dread Crush!
[Phoenix armor crashes down on Dragoon and at the same time Phoenix smashes into Dragoon too]
[Dragoon Bursts]
Drake: *gasps*
Drone: Revive Phoenix, burst finish! Phi won with the score of 2-0.
Damon: Looks like Lord Phi won the match!!
Ben: Pathetic...
Drake: One more time! I'll go one more time
Phi: It won't change the outcome..... Come at me as many times as you want!
Drake: Alright
[At middle of 2nd Battle]
Phi: Dread Canon!
[Dragoon Bursts]
Drake: One more time!
[After 17 battles more]
Drone: Dread Phoenix, Burst finish Phi won the match with the score of 2-0.... again.
Drake: One more time! *huff*
Phi: heh, It's the last time.
Drake: Fine!
Damon: This kid lost against Phi 19 times!!! Is the outcome gonna change this time? Is Dragoon gonna burst into pieces this time?! Let's find out!
[Drake looks at Dragoon]
Drake: Dragoon....[And suddenly Dragoon appeared front of him]
[Dragoon keeps staring at Drake]
Drake: Dragoon, I'll prove you that I'm not weak for you!
Dragoon: You don't need to.
Drake: Huh?
Dragoon: Just believe in yourself and focus only on me.
[Drake remained silent for a sec]
Drake: Yeah! I won't let you down!
[Dragoon disappears]
Drake: Phi, You're going down!
[Drake's body starts to emit aura on a huge scale]
Phi: heh
Drone: First Battle! Ready,set!
Drake/Phi: 3!2!1! Let It Rip!!!
[Phoenix heads for the centre]
Drake: Attack,Dragoon!
Valt: Is he gonna attack again?
[Dragoon pulls out Phoenix's armor]
Phi: Guess you won't understand.
[The armor falls on the stadium]
Phi: Dread Canon!
[Phoenix hits it's armor with full force at Dragoon]
Drake: This was what I was waiting for! Let's go Dragoon!
[Dragoon hits Dread Armor back]
Drake: Viking Canon!
[Phi got shocked]
Phi: you can't!
Damon: What the heck!? Drake used Phi's strategy on him!?
Ben: *smiles*
[Dragoon hits the armor back at Phoenix but Phoenix dodges and the armor got knocked out of the stadium]
Phi: Dread Break!
Drake: I've looked through all of Phoenix's movements!
Drake: Viking Break!
[Drake copies Phi's attack]
[Valt got shocked]
Valt: No way... In Phoenix's case Dread Breack is just a mere counterattack but in Dragoon's case It's a full fledged attack!
[Dragoon and Phoenix clashed and both got blown away from the stadium but Dragoon got knocked out after Phoenix]
Damon: This can't be! That kid actually scored a point against Lord Phi!
Drake: All right!
Phi: Nice going, but it's not enough to beat Phoenix!
Drake: We'll see! There's one more strategy up my sleeves!
[Valt starts cheering for Drake]
Valt: Drake, show him what you've got! Beat him with a burst!
Drake: Yeah, I will!
Phi: Let's get started then. I won't go easy on you this time!
Drone: Second battle. Ready,set!
Drake/Phi: 3!2!1! Let it Rip!!!
[Phi launched phoenix vertically]
[Phoenix uses the slopes of the stadium and attacks Dragoon]
Phi: Knock him out, Phoenix!
Drake: Go Dragoon! Fight back!
[Dragoon and Phoenix keeps on clashing they both were equally strong]
Damon: No way! Lord Phi is struggling against him!
[Phoenix's armor came off]
[Phi starts to emit aura]
Phi: Phoenix!!
[Phoenix's aura shines and it blazes out from the bey]
[Phoenix hits the Dread Canon to the wall of the stadium]
Phi: Dread Cannon Crush!!
Drake: Dodge it! Dragoon!
[Dragoon dodges it]
Phi: *gasps*
Drake: Now it's my turn! Dragoon! [He starts emitting aura]
[Dragoon's aura shines and it blazes out from the bey]
Dragoon: Let's Go!
[Dragoon hits Dread armor at Phoenix but it missed again]
Phi: Looks like you missed again!
Drake: Nope, I didn't!
[The armor hits the wall and dashses towards Phoenix and Dragoon too came crashing into Phoenix]
[Phi got shocked]
Phi: How did you..?
Drake: Viking Canon Crush!!
[Phoenix got cornered by Dragoon and it's own armor and Phoenix got smashed]
[Huge explosion occurred on the stadium]
Drake: *smiles*
[Phi got stunned]
[A Bey arises from the explosion and bursts, It was Phoenix]
Drone: Viking Dragoon, Burst Finish! Drake Kazeryu wins with the score of 3-0!
Damon: No way!! Lord Phi lost against Drake!!
The whole world: *shocked*
Ben(looks at Baldur): Looks like someone's getting stronger
[Baldur shines with purple aura]
Phi: *laughs* Looks like you win, Drake.
Drake: Didn't I told you earlier? Dragoon is the strongest bey in the world!
???: I don't think so....
[Phi looks at him]
Phi: Hyde...
Hyde: Hades wanna play with Dragoon too. *laughs*
