Hello I'm The Goat0531, this is my first beyblade fan fic I've written so I hope you enjoy. My inspiration for this is Bey100 and his series Cyber Crush so shoutout to him and you should probably check his series out. This fan fic occurs during Superking and retcons Superking and DB as I felt like those seasons of the show were pretty bad. Events and characters from that series will still appear but they won't be as important as they were in those seasons of the show. Beyblade Burst: Planet is going to be similar to Naruto and Boruto's structure where there will be a part 1 and a part 2 time skip. The story for part 1 will be somewhat like MHA with a beyblade school till it of coarse expands farther and farther like any story. The main character is named Kai Ulrich and his bey is Planet Kitsune Zenith Hold' - 1D. This series will at least be a weekly chapter/episode series like most manga so expect at least a chapter/episode a week. So yeah I hope everyone to stays to read this story enjoys what I'm writing and will give me feedback so I can improve my writing. I'll also have an open character submission so you can just submit your character either in pm's or this thread and if the oc fits I'll add them to the story. All the info that is needed is their name, appearance, personality, and Superking bey, but if you want to add more you can.

Beyblade Burst: Planet Chapter #1 "Enter: Kai Ulrich!"

Alarm: Beep beep

Kai woke up from his bed with his alarm blaring in his ear. Kai turns to his right in a half awake state.

Kai: Well todays finally the day.

Kai would then get up quickly and change to his casual outfit of a black undershirt under a orange zipped up hoodie with black jeans and black boots and a black headband with the logo of his old school on the front. Kai then went over to his bag which contained his blading uniform, his launcher, and his bey Zwei Diabolos Sting Jolt'. After getting his bag he grabbed a piece of toast and ran outside with the toast in his mouth. Kai would then keep running and running till he made it to the entrance of a school called WBBA Academy. Due to the running Kai would then arch his upper body downward so that his hands could touch his knees and so he could catch his breath.

Kai: I'm finally here.

Kai would then get his upward body back up and walk into the building. He would then make his way to the gym that was as loud as a sports game. Kai would get up on the bleachers and sit with his bag on the ground and look around to see others doing the same thing.

*5 minutes later*

Mr. Winbush: Hello everyone! My name is Mr. Winbush, I am the head principal of this school. You all have been selected due to your performance on the National stage with each of your respective school teams. With the help of this program we guarantee that when you come out of this school you will be able to reach your full potential and conquer the world stage.

Kai: Will this guy ever stop talking?

Kai thought in his head.

Kai: Every school literally says this, the only difference I can find between this school and the average high school is that this school is primarily beyblade focus and funded by the WBBA.

Mr. Winbush: Every person in this room will be split into three man teams. Each team will have a teacher who will help you design your own Sparking beys.

Kai: What's a Sparking bey?

Mr. Winbush: Now for the listings for each team. Team 1-

*2 minutes after*

Mr. Winbush: Alright now, team 7. Team 7 will include Kai Ulrich, Joe Bri, and finally Sebastian Underwood.

Kai: Not Sebastian!

Kai thought. Kai would then stand up looking at the teacher.

Kai: Why am I with Sebastian?! I'm way better than he is at blading!

Mr. Winbush: Kai, you're literally the person with the lowest blading grade out of everyone here. And didn't Sebastian's team blow your team out in the third round? How could you possibly say you're better than him?

The crowd of people would then burst out in laughter.

Sebastian: Kai, I recommend you sit down and be quiet, loser.

Kai would then look at Sebastian with a face as red as a rose and then sit down.

Mr. Winbush: Team 7, your teacher will be Tyler Hamilton.

A man would then walk into the gym with long spiked silver har that went towards the left of his head, dark grey eyes, a blue long sleeve shirt, green buttoned up sleeveless jacket, blue jeans, and a silver necklace.

Tyler: So who's my team?

Mr. Winbush: The boy with blue eyes and spiked blond hair, his name is Kai, the kid with the black hair that's spiked in the back and black eyes, his name is Sebastian, and the kid with blue eyes and that purple hat with yellow spots on it, his name is Joe.

Tyler: Okay cool, team 7, come with me.

The three newly made teammates would stand up and grab their bags, following Tyler. They would eventually be brought to a room with three room inside of the room that was identical, including a bed, closet, window, desk, and bathroom. Outside of those rooms was the main room which contained a kitchen which had a fridge, cabinets, and a table with three chairs. As well as that there was a living room which contained three couches and a TV with a Xbox hooked up to it.

Tyler: Put your bags in your rooms, all you'll need is your launcher.

Kai: What about our beys?

Tyler: Did you not hear? You three will be making your own Sparking beys. You won't need them ever again.

Sebastian: So what do we do with our old beys?

Tyler: I don't know, throw them away? Smash them? Whatever you want.

Kai: Smash them?! No way am I going to destroy Diabolos!

Tyler: Okay geez, then I don't know, put him up for display.

Sebastian: You should probably destroy Diabolos, it didn't help you anyway in the tournament.

Kai: Shut up Sebastian!

Joe: Hey can we all just calm down, no need to be so aggressive.

Kai and Sebastian: Shut up clown!

Joe: Oh, okay.

Tyler: Well whatever, whenever ya'll are down insulting each other and are ready meet me in the Sparking bey creating area. All you have to do is take two lefts down the hallway and a right and enter the door in the middle, well at least I think it is. Whatever, you'll find it eventually, see yah then.

Each of the three bladers would enter their rooms.

Kai: Oh I hate that Sebastian!

Kai would punch the wall then recoil his hand.

Kai: Ouch!

Kai would then open his bag and change into his blading outfit which consisted of a orange zipped up long sleeve shirt, with black sweatpants, white boots, white cape with red flames on the bottom, and red hat. He would then go back into his bag to find his custom L/R string launcher with the main launcher being orange and the top piece of the launcher which can be taken off to turn the launcher either from right to left is black. Kai would then attach a launcher grip to his launcher which is orange with two black grip weights on the sides. He then grabbed Diabolos and looked at his bey.

Kai: Trust me Diabolos, I'll never throw you away.

Kai would then walk to his desk and then sit Diabolos on the table.

Sebastian: Hurry up, we're both waiting for you loser!

Kai: Shut up Sebastian!

Kai would then look at Diabolos again.

Kai: See you later Diabolos.

Kai would then leave his room and look at Sebastian and Joe. Sebastian changed from his white t-shirt, grey jacket, black pants, and dark blue sandals for a grey zipped up short sleeve shirt, black tights, blue shorts over the tights, a purple belt around his waist, and white boots. While Joe switched from a purple short sleeve shirt and purple pants with yellow spots all over with purple sneakers with yellow spots as well for a purple jester outfit with yellow spots all over.

Sebastian: Time to go.

The three of them would then leave the room and follow Tyler's directions just to figure out there was no door.

Kai: What?! Why is there no door?!

Joe: Tyler must've given use the wrong directions.

Sebastian: No, this is likely a test. When Tyler gave us directions he said "I think" to test if we would pick up on that detail.

Kai: Well look at you Sebastian, aren't you a genius.

Sebastian: I don't need to be a genius to be smarter then you.

Kai looked at Sebastian with anger and clenched fists.

Joe: Hey, calm down, let's just find where Tyler is.

Kai would then breathe out and release his fists.

Kai: Fine.

The three of them would then search around the school till fifteen minutes later they finally found the room Tyler was.

Kai: Finely, we're here.

Kai said with an exhausted tone as him and the two others tried to catch their breath.

Tyler: What took you'll so long? The school isn't that big.

Sebastian: Well maybe if you didn't try to test us and actually gave us the directions, we wouldn't be in this situation.

Tyler: Test?

Sebastian: This wasn't a test?

Tyler: No, I just got the directions wrong. My bad.

Kai: Who's the genius now?

Sebastian: Shut up! You didn't even counter my assumption!

Tyler: Alright calm down. In this room we'll be making your Sparking beys.

Joe: What's a Sparking bey?

Tyler: Good thing you asked. A Sparking bey is the new evolution of Beyblades. Like beys from the past there's a driver and like from the GT system the layer is split into a ring and a chip or core. But now there is no more armor and instead a chassis. There's two different types of chassises, the single chassis is a circular piece of metal and plastic that connects to the ring of your bey and connects to the disc which gives the bey extra weight and is how the entire bey connects together, while the double chassis is a combination of the disc and chassis as it's a chassis that looks just like a disc and still connects to the layer. For example you can look at my bey, Lightning Tachibana.

Tyler would grab his bey out of his pocket and showed to everyone. The bey had a blue defense ring which had a silver plastic ring outside of the ring itself that would be pushed back if a opponents bey attacked it, like Hazard Kerbeus, the core was also blue and had the avatar being a silver samurai with a silver sword and robes, the double chassis was blue and very round, and finally the driver was a blue Atomic with the plastic ring being silver.

Tyler: As you see my bey has a double chassis, this chassis is 2B. Which as a whole makes my bey Lightning Tachibana Atomic 2B. But now it's time for you'll to make your own beys. After you make the layer you'll set it inside inside the scanner there.

Tyler pointed at a square container that could be best described as a microwave but with no buttons from the outside view.

Kai: Is that a microwave?

Tyler: No, it's a high tech piece of technology that will scan your bey and create parts suitable for your bey. Now, get to work.

Each other the three bladers went to computer where they got to design their own Beyblade.

Sebastian: Don't copy my bey this time Kai.

Kai: What? I never copied you.

Sebastian: So you're telling me it's a coincidence that both our beys just happened to use Zwei as the layer base after you saw my Zwei Bahamut Around Destroy'.

Kai: I didn't copy you, we just happened to have the same layer base.

Sebastian: Whatever you say.

Kai looked back at the computer screen and started thinking how his ring was going to look. He first considered making a replica of Zwei Diabolos but decided against it as he would be dealing with the same flaws that caused him to lose to Sebastian. This caused him to think of the person who caused him to start getting into beyblade, his hero, Valt Aoi. Kai considered copying Valkyrie but was conflicted because he wanted his bey to also represent his past with Diabolos. This then led to Kai's final decision where he chose his ring was going to be somewhat of a combination of the two. The ring he designed was a right spinning ring with two small wings on the top right of the bey till you got downward to the middle right of the ring where there were two big main blades with the same attack points being flipped upside down for the left side (like Super). The color he chose for the ring was orange but it also contained black flames on the contact points. For the avatar he thought maybe making a combination like he did before with the avatar being a knight on a dragon but instead thought back to his childhood.

*2 years ago*

Kai: Diabolos where did you go?

Two years ago Kai was training in the woods and lost Diabolos due to a mislaunch which caused Diabolos to fly out of the stadium and start traveling across the land. Kai would eventually come to a clearing where he saw something in the bushes. Kai would get into a defensive position and have fear planted onto his face.

Kai: Please don't be a bear, please don't be a bear.

Out of the bushes came a fox with Diabolos in its mouth. Kai would look the fox straight in the eyes and it felt like a connection was born between the two creatures. The fox would put Diabolos onto the ground and then run off with Kai's eyes following the fox's movements till the fox was unseeable.

Kai: Good thing you're okay Diabolos.

Kai said when going down to grab his bey.

Kai: And thanks Mr. Fox for giving Diabolos back to me.

*present day*

Kai designed the chip to be black with an orange fox to look to the bottom left of the bey with the fox having nine tails and red eyes with black going around the eyes and going up towards the ear where it ends at the tip of the ears. After designing the chip Kai clicked the print button and watched his creation be given life by the machine. After the creation of his bey Kai grabbed his bey and jumped in the air with joy.

Kai: Finally it's done! Welcome to the world Planet Kitsune!

Tyler: Good job Kai, now go the scanner and it'll give your parts.

Kai looked at Tyler who was reading a book on a table.

Kai: What are you reading?

Tyler: Oh this? It's a Japanese manga called Naruto, it's about this kid named Naruto Uzumaki who wants to become the Hokage which is the leader of the village he's from because he was being mistreated by the people who live in the village due to him having a nine tailed foxed sealed inside which was destroying the village the day he was born and the fourth Hokage died in his fight with the fox and then sealed the fox inside Naruto. I recommend it, it's a good read.

Kai: Alright I'll check it out some time.

Kai puts Planet Kitsune into the machine and closed it. Planet Kitsune was scanned into the machine and the machine started creating parts that would work with Kitsune and that would help solve some of the problems Kai had in his battles which resulted in losses. Eventually the machine made a beeping sound and Kai opened the machine and grabbed Kitsune out of it. Kai then went to the other machine where the new parts were and grabbed the parts. The parts Kai received was a Zenith disc with the metal being orange and the plastic around the metal being black and the rubber be white, a orange Hold', and for the chassis it was a single chassis with the plastic part of it being black and the metal part being orange and with the chassis having the word "1D" written on it.

Kai: Alright, so my bey is called Planet Ktisune Zenith Hold' 1D.

Tyler: That's interesting, I wouldn't think a defense chassis would be made for an attack type.

Kai: Defense chassis?

Tyler: Yes, that's what the D means in 1D. The B in my chassis means balance which can work for my bey since balance is a type that is good at basically everything but defense and attack are basically opposites.

Kai: So does that mean my bey's special?

Tyler: No, your bey is probably just more tanky and slower than the average attack type.

Kai then looked at Tyler disappointed till he felt a hand on his shoulder.

Sebastian: Can you move it? There's more people in here other than you.

Kai slapped Sebastian's hand causing Sebastian to retract his hand and then walked away.

*2 minutes later*

Tyler: Alright it looks like everyones bey is done.

Joe: Yeah, mine just finished. This is my bey, Jynx Joker Gamble Trans 1D.

Kai looked at the bey with interest. The Jynx ring was purple and a more rounder shape with there being two gold rubber contact points like on the Judgement layer base from the GT system. The difference though was that the contact point on the left had soft rubber while the one on the right had hard rubber. Which causes Joker to be able to steal spin and give strong smash attacks. The Joker chip looked identical like the Joker chip from the GT system but instead it was more gold. The driver was just a normal purple Trans driver and the 1D chassis was just a normal 1D chassis but purple.

Sebastian: Cool, but my bey can easily destroy yours. Meet Hero Susanoo Destroy 3D.

Kai: What's with you and always using a form of Destroy?

Sebastian: Well I like Destroy and according to this machine Destroy is perfect for me.

Kai finally looked at Susanoo, the ring looked like a evolved version of Zwei with there being two main metal attack points and two plastic attack points behind it but instead of being used for smash attacks the attack points seemed to be shaped to be used for upper attacks. The ring was grey and left spinning and the chip was grey with the avatar being purple and the avatar taking the shape of a man with a sword and wearing armor and the armored man looking to the bottom right of the bey. The Destroy driver was grey and the 3D chassis was purple which looked good alongside the layer.

Sebastian: Well let's see your bey then Kai.

Kai showed off Planet Kitsune. with Joe in awe while Sebastian looked at it smugly.

Tyler: Alright guys, let's head over to the gym and get ready for our first training session together.

The four of them leave the room and go to the gym where there is a private facility for every team.

Tyler: Alright, so I can get a good idea on your strengths and weakness I want you'll to do a free for all.

Kai: A free for all?

Tyler: Yes.

Sebastian: Wouldn't it be more accurate if we just did one on ones.

Tyler: Maybe, but that would be less fun.

Joe: Yeah I agree with Tyler, we should do a free for all!

Kai and Sebastian still didn't look fond about the idea so Tyler decided to speak again.

Tyler: Fine, let's make a deal. Whoever wins this free for all, gets to battle me.

Kai and Sebastian's eyes begin to light up with fire and excitement at the idea of battling their teacher.

Tyler: There's that fire, now, go battle each other. I'll be here reading the greatest piece of fiction ever!

The three team members walk over to the stadium and get their launchers ready.

Kai: Joe stay out of my way, Sebastian is mine.

Sebastian: I don't care whoever attacks me first, I'm going to defeat you two easily anyway.

Kai: We'll see about that.

Tyler: Alright ready, set!

The three boys: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

But now there is no more armor and instead a chassis. There's two different types of chassises, the single chassis is a circular piece of metal and plastic that connects to the ring of your bey and connects to the disc which gives the bey extra weight and is how the entire bey connects together, while the double chassis is a combination of the disc and chassis as it's a chassis that looks just like a disc and still connects to the layer. For example you can look at my bey, Lightning Tachibana.

Tyler would grab his bey out of his pocket and showed to everyone. The bey had a blue defense ring which had a silver plastic ring outside of the ring itself that would be pushed back if a opponents bey attacked it, like Hazard Kerbeus, the core was also blue and had the avatar being a silver samurai with a silver sword and robes, the double chassis was blue and very round, and finally the driver was a blue Atomic with the plastic ring being silver.

Tyler: As you see my bey has a double chassis, this chassis is 2B. Which as a whole makes my bey Lightning Tachibana Atomic 2B. But now it's time for you'll to make your own beys. After you make the layer you'll set it inside inside the scanner there.

Tyler pointed at a square container that could be best described as a microwave but with no buttons from the outside view.

Kai: Is that a microwave?

Tyler: No, it's a high tech piece of technology that will scan your bey and create parts suitable for your bey. Now, get to work.

Each other the three bladers went to computer where they got to design their own Beyblade.

Sebastian: Don't copy my bey this time Kai.

Kai: What? I never copied you.

Sebastian: So you're telling me it's a coincidence that both our beys just happened to use Zwei as the layer base after you saw my Zwei Bahamut Around Destroy'.

Kai: I didn't copy you, we just happened to have the same layer base.

Sebastian: Whatever you say.

Kai looked back at the computer screen and started thinking how his ring was going to look. He first considered making a replica of Zwei Diabolos but decided against it as he would be dealing with the same flaws that caused him to lose to Sebastian. This caused him to think of the person who caused him to start getting into beyblade, his hero, Valt Aoi. Kai considered copying Valkyrie but was conflicted because he wanted his bey to also represent his past with Diabolos. This then led to Kai's final decision where he chose his ring was going to be somewhat of a combination of the two. The ring he designed  was a right spinning ring with two small wings on the top right of the bey till you got downward to the middle right of the ring where there were two big main blades with the same attack points being flipped upside down for the left side (like Super). The color he chose for the ring was orange but it also contained black flames on the contact points. For the avatar he thought maybe making a combination like he did before with the avatar being a knight on a dragon but instead thought back to his childhood.

*2 years ago*

Kai: Diabolos where did you go?

Two years ago Kai was training in the woods and lost Diabolos due to a mislaunch which caused Diabolos to fly out of the stadium and start traveling across the land. Kai would eventually come to a clearing where he saw something in the bushes. Kai would get into a defensive position and have fear planted onto his face.

Kai: Please don't be a bear, please don't be a bear.

Out of the bushes came a fox with Diabolos in its mouth. Kai would look the fox straight in the eyes and it felt like a connection was born between the two creatures. The fox would put Diabolos onto the ground and then run off with Kai's eyes following the fox's movements till the fox was unseeable.

Kai: Good thing you're okay Diabolos.

Kai said when going down to grab his bey.

Kai: And thanks Mr. Fox for giving Diabolos back to me.

*present day*

Kai designed the chip to be black with an orange fox to look to the bottom left of the bey with the fox having nine tails and red eyes with black going around the eyes and going up towards the ear where it ends at the tip of the ears. After  designing the chip Kai clicked the print button and watched his creation be given life by the machine. After the creation of his bey Kai grabbed his bey and jumped in the air with joy.

Kai: Finally it's done! Welcome to the world Planet Kitsune!

Tyler: Good job Kai, now go the scanner and it'll give your parts.

Kai looked at Tyler who was reading a book on a table.

Kai: What are you reading?

Tyler: Oh this? It's a Japanese manga called Naruto, it's about this kid named Naruto Uzumaki who wants to become the Hokage which is the leader of the village he's from because he was being mistreated by the people who live in the village due to him having a nine tailed foxed sealed inside which was destroying the village the day he was born and the fourth Hokage died in his fight with the fox and then sealed the fox inside Naruto. I recommend it, it's a good read.

Kai: Alright I'll check it out some time.

Kai puts Planet Kitsune into the machine and closed it. Planet Kitsune was scanned into the machine and the machine started creating parts that would work with Kitsune and that would help solve some of the problems Kai had in his battles which resulted in losses. Eventually the machine made a beeping sound and Kai opened the machine and grabbed Kitsune out of it. Kai then went to the other machine where the new parts were and grabbed the parts. The parts Kai received was a Zenith disc with the metal being orange and the plastic around the metal being black and the rubber be white, a orange Hold', and for the chassis it was a single chassis with the plastic part of it being black and the metal part being orange and with the chassis having the word "1D" written on it.

Kai: Alright, so my bey is called Planet Ktisune Zenith Hold' 1D.

Tyler: That's interesting, I wouldn't think a defense chassis would be made for an attack type.

Kai: Defense chassis?

Tyler: Yes, that's what the D means in 1D. The B in my chassis means balance which can work for my bey since balance is a type that is good at basically everything but defense and attack are basically opposites.

Kai: So does that mean my bey's special?

Tyler: No, your bey is probably just more tanky and slower than the average attack type.

Kai then looked at Tyler disappointed till he felt a hand on his shoulder.

Sebastian: Can you move it? There's more people in here other than you.

Kai slapped Sebastian's hand causing Sebastian to retract his hand and then walked away.

*2 minutes later*

Tyler: Alright it looks like everyones bey is done.

Joe: Yeah, mine just finished. This is my bey, Jynx Joker Gamble Trans 1D.

Kai looked at the bey with interest. The Jynx ring was purple and a more rounder shape with there being two gold rubber contact points like on the Judgement layer base from the GT system. The difference though was that the contact point on the left had soft rubber while the one on the right had hard rubber. Which causes Joker to be able to steal spin and give strong smash attacks. The Joker chip looked identical like the Joker chip from the GT system but instead it was more gold. The driver was just a normal purple Trans driver and the 1D chassis was just a normal 1D chassis but purple.

Sebastian: Cool, but my bey can easily destroy yours. Meet Hero Susanoo Destroy 3D.

Kai: What's with you and always using a form of Destroy?

Sebastian: Well I like Destroy and according to this machine Destroy is perfect for me.

Kai finally looked at Susanoo, the ring looked like a evolved version of Zwei with there being two main metal attack points and two plastic attack points behind it but instead of being used for smash attacks the attack points seemed to be shaped to be used for upper attacks. The ring was grey and left spinning and the chip was grey with the avatar being purple and the avatar taking the shape of a man with a sword and wearing armor and the armored man looking to the bottom right of the bey. The Destroy driver was grey and the 3D chassis was purple which looked good alongside the layer.

Sebastian: Well let's see your bey then Kai.

Kai showed off Planet Kitsune. with Joe in awe while Sebastian looked at it smugly.

Tyler: Alright guys, let's head over to the gym and get ready for our first training session together.

The four of them leave the room and go to the gym where there is a private facility for every team.

Tyler: Alright, so I can get a good idea on your strengths and weakness I want you'll to do a free for all.

Kai: A free for all?  

Tyler: Yes.

Sebastian: Wouldn't it be more accurate if we just did one on ones.

Tyler: Maybe, but that would be less fun.

Joe: Yeah I agree with Tyler, we should do a free for all!

Kai and Sebastian still didn't look fond about the idea so Tyler decided to speak again.

Tyler: Fine, let's make a deal. Whoever wins this free for all, gets to battle me.

Kai and Sebastian's eyes begin to light up with fire and excitement at the idea of battling their teacher.

Tyler: There's that fire, now, go battle each other. I'll be here reading the greatest piece of fiction ever!

The three team members walk over to the stadium and get their launchers ready.

Kai: Joe stay out of my way, Sebastian is mine.

Sebastian: I don't care whoever attacks me first, I'm going to defeat you two easily anyway.

Kai: We'll see about that.

Tyler: Alright ready, set!

The three boys: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Beyblade Burst: Planet Chapter #2 "Three way free for all, battle to fight the lightning cutting warrior"

The three boys: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

All three boy's beys are launched into the stadium with all three beys spinning at high velocity. Kitsune and Susanoo spun around the edges of the stadium with Susanoo moving a bit faster then Kitsune. While Joker spun in the center of the stadium since Joe put the trans driver on Joker in stamina mode.

Kai: Let's see what you can do Kitsune!

Kitsune started going towards the center of the stadium and started clashing with Joe.

Joe: Hey leave me alone!

Kitsune was then sent flying as the hard rubber contact point was slammed into Kitsune.

Sebastian: Thanks for the opening moron.

Susanoo then dashed to the center of the stadium and slammed into Joker with barely any affect on Joker's spinning.

Sebastian: What?!

Joe: It seem you two have forgotten. Joker has two main points of contact, the one Kitsune attacked was Joker's hard rubber contact point which allows me to give great attacks. While Susanoo attacked the other part of Joker which contains normal rubber which is perfect for spin stealing against opposite spinning beys, such as Susanoo.

Sebastian glared at Joe after realizing the abilities of Joker.

Joe: Now it seems you understand, my bey is a perfect counter for you Sebastian. Since your bey is an attack type it's defense is generally weak and since it spins left I can just gain spin off of you.

Kai: Not for me though!

Kitsune then dashed to the center of the stadium, slamming into the normal rubber attack point on Joker and sending Joker flying.

Joe: No, Joker!

Sebastian: Time to end Joker Susanoo!

Kai: No, that's my win! Go get Joker Kitsune!

Both beys charge after Joker but when they were about to hit Joker, it moved slightly out of the way causing both beys to hit each other.

Sebastian: Get out of my way Kai!

Kai: You're in my way!

Sebastian starts getting angry which results in his eyes turning red and a red and orange aura appearing.

Kai: What the heck is that?

Tyler: Looks someone finally unlocked their flare.

Kai: What's flare?!

Tyler: Flare is an evolved version of resonance which only the resonance of a user and their perfectly paired Sparking bey can achieve. And it seems Sebastian is the first one to awaken such a power, which makes sense since the scouting report says he's apparently a blading genius.

Sebastian: Susanoo, Hero Upper!

Susanoo attacks Kitsune by using the blades on the Hero ring and 3A chassis which caused Kitsune to be sent upward with a powerful uppercut. Kitsune flew in the air at Kai and bursted with the parts flying in Kai's right hand.

Kai: Oh come on! How could I lose to this guy?!

Sebastian: Now Susanoo, let's end this.

Susanoo then dashed at Joker at light speeds which caused Joe to not be able to react to Susanoo. Susanoo then slammed into Joker causing Joker to be sent flying outside the stadium.

Joe: Aw man!

Tyler: Well that's it. Sebastian is the winner of this three way battle and gets to battle me.

Sebastian: Alright then, let's get to it.

Sebastian says smirking while catching Susanoo in his left hand.

Tyler: I'm impressed with your abilities with your new Sparking bey. Though I must say, you still have a lot to learn.

Sebastian: I may, but it will be enough to defeat you.

Tyler: We'll see about that.

Joe: Bladers ready, get set!

Tyler and Sebastian: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys are sent into the stadium at amazing speeds.

Tyler: Time to see what Sebastian can do with his new found power.

Tyler thought while Tachibana took the center.

Sebastian: Now, to see what this power can do. Rise Susanoo!

Sebastian's eyes turned back red and a red and orange aura appeared again.

Sebastian: Now, Hero Upper!

Susanoo charged at Tachibana just for Tachibana to dodge Susanoo. Tyler then opened his pocket to grab his book and start reading.

Sebastian: Are you seriously reading during our battle?!

Tyler: Well yeah, the outcome isn't going to change any way. Plus I finally got to the part where Kakashi is doing the bell test with Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.

Sebastian: What?

Tyler: Eh, you wouldn't get it.

Sebastian: Whatever, Susanoo!

Susanoo changed direction to charge at Tachibana again just for Tachibana to dodge again.

Sebastian: Stop dodging and fight me!

Tyler: Fine you want me to get serious, then let's get serious.

Susanoo then changes directions again and charges at Tachibana.

Tyler: Swift Counter!

Susanoo slammed into Tachibana's defensive points of contact which caused them to move inward and push the springs within the ring back and then the springs inside the ring released which caused the point of contact to fling back out at Susanoo. Causing Susanoo to go flying to the stadium wall behind it and burst on impact.

Tyler: I expected more from a so called genius, but whatever, just gives me something else to work on with you.

Sebastian grabbed Susanoo from the stadium with his left hand and clenched his right hand in fury.

Tyler: Alright our first task is as we saw with Sebastian is to awaken your flare. Sebastian, since you already awakened the first version of your flare you can sit out and cool down.

Sebastian turned around and went to the other side of the gym with spite.

Kai: What do you mean by first version?

Tyler: Well as you battle and grow in strength and create and grow a connection with your bey, your flare will increase in power and do things like your aura changing colors and possible physical changes like Sebastian's eyes turning red.

Joe: How many versions are there?

Tyler: Who knows. There could be an infinite amount of versions of your flare. The amount of versions of your flare just depends on how much you increase in strength and connection with your bey. I'm currently at my third version but I know many others who are at their first, second, third, and eighth versions. And the version you're at doesn't symbolize if you're stronger than someone or not. Someone could beat you when they're at their first version while you're at your eighteenth. The version you're at just symbolizes your growth from where you began and how your strength and connection has changed. But first thing we have to do is awaken you two's first versions of your flare since there's going to be a tournament happening soon.

Kai: Tournament?!

Tyler: Yep it's a tournament where every team in this school will compete. The tournament is to show your powers off to world teams such as BC Sol, the Raging Bulls, AS Gallus, SB Rios, Bladebreakers, Team GanGan Galaxy, Team Excalibur, and Team Garcias.

Joe: I know BC Sol, the Raging Bulls, AS Gallus, and SB Rios. But what are the other teams? I've never heard of them.

Tyler: I don't know, they're new teams that got established into the world league pretty soon after the famous finals between BC Sol and the Raging Bulls. Apparently that final increased demand in the world league a lot which caused many investors and franchise owners to get into the scene. I wonder how Team Garcias's recruitment is going since their entire team is made of a generation of Garcias. But whatever, you'll can worry about the scouts when you get to the tournament. Now let's start this battle between you two. Now get ready, and set!

Kai and Joe: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys are launched into the stadium at high speeds. Though instead of before with Joker going into the center of the stadium Joker hung around the edges of the stadium.

Kai: Attack mode?

Joe: Yeah, since we're battling to awaken our flare's and Sebastian awakened his from being in a clash with you and from attack me and you, I thought it would be more beneficial for us to copy that strategy.

Kai: Alright then, let's go!

Joe: You're on!

Both Kitsune and Joker clashed into the stadium causing sparks to fly.

Kai: Go Kitsune! Planet Dash!

Kitsune started moving in a flower pattern and attacking Joker at immeasurable speeds.

Joe: Joker, Jynx Smash!

Kitsune slams into the hard rubber point on the Jynx ring where all of Joker's energy was being built up and was then sent flying.

Kai: No, Kitsune!

Joe: Joker time to end this! Use Jynx Smash again!

Kai: No on my watch! Planet Dash!

Both beys clash in the center of the stadium with sparks flying across the stadium.

Kai: Go Kitsune!

Joe: Joker, BREAK THROUGH!

A aura started appearing on Joe, that of purple and yellow and with his right eye turning purple while his left eye turned yellow. An explosion occurred in the stadium with both beys being sent back. When the dust settled the bladers looked into the stadium to see Joker barely staying on it's preformance tip while spinning while Kitsune bursted from making contact with the stadium wall behind it when the explosion occurred.

Kai: Oh come on, not again!

Tyler: Good job Joe, you've awoken your flare. No go with Sebastian to your lunch break. I'll be here with Kai to see if he can awaken his flare.

Joe: Okay, let's go Sebastian.

Sebastian: Okay.

Sebastian got up from the side of the gym and walked with Joe to the cafeteria.

Kai: Why can't I do this flare thing?! I've put my all into these battles but yet I still can't do it!

Tyler: Woah, come down. It's okay to be last at some thing. The main thing is that you don't let it last for long.

Kai still looked at the ground in anger and sadness.

Tyler: Okay, let's talk.

Tyler goes to the opposite side of the gym from where Sebastian was sitting where two lunch boxes were. Tyler brought the two over and tossed one to Kai.

Tyler: It's actually kinda good you're last at this. Usually most kids master this pretty quickly which causes me to eat in silence in this gym. So it's nice to finally have some company.

Kai: Yeah, but I still don't get what the problem with my abilities are.

Tyler: You know, I had a friend just like you. His name was Elijah Urban, he had a bey called Know Eros 00 Axe High Charge' 4A. He also had problems like you with his flare.

Kai: Did he ever achieve a flare?

Tyler: Yeah he did. So you most definitely can achieve one. Just keep working and find out what your problems are and work on them. But first you need to recharge, let's eat.

*10 minutes later*

Kai: Alright, time to get back to work.

Kai said while jumping back up.

Tyler: Well since Sebastian and Joe still have twenty minutes of their break left, I'll be your opponent.

Tyler said when readying his launcher in his right hand.

Kai: Alright, let's go teach.

Kai and Tyler: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high speeds with Tachibana taking the center while Kitsune circled around.

Kai: Kitsune, use Planet Dash!

Kitsune charged at Tachibama, attacking in a flower pattern just for Tachibana to dodge all of Kitsune's attacks.

Kai: Come on Kitsune, let's go faster!

Kitsune started spinning at the edge of the stadium. Gaining more and more speed still it eventually came down for more flower pattern attacks.

Kai: Planet Dash!

Kitsune dashed at Tachibana at even higher speeds than before.

Tyler: Good try but that won't be enough.

Tachibana then dodged Kitsune again and moved to the outer side of the stadium.

Tyler: Come get me Kai.

Kitsune then dashed at Tachibana again, making contact with one of the Lightning ring's defensive point of contact. This pushed the point back and pushed the spring back just for the spring to then push back flinging the contact point forward.

Tyler: Swift Counter!

Kitsune is sent flying and then bursted from making contact with the stadium wall behind it.

Kai: No, Kitsune!

Tyler: Seems like your battle intelligence also needs some improvements. You fell for the exact move that Sebastian fell for.

Kai: Well it's kinda hard to think of a counter when I try to attack with all my strength you can just counter it automatically.

Tyler: That's the point of my bey.

Tyler said while grabbing Tachibana from the stadium.

Tyler: When you battle someone with high skill, you have to be strategic and think. You can't just go all out at the start, especially in these days with beys with gimmicks which can easily punish a mistake like that. You have to figure out your opponent's weaknesses and figure out how to counter them. Especially with you since your bey is a standard attack type with no real gimmick.

Kai: Okay, let's go again.

Tyler: Alright.

Kai and Tyler: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys are launched into the stadium at the same speed as before with Tachibana going to the center while Kitsune circled around it.

Kai: Okay, so his bey's ring has those defensive points which can counter a bey's attack. So how could I possibly beat him?

Kai looked at Tachibana while Tyler smiled watching Kai analyze Tachibana.

Kai: There.

Kai then noticed that the defensive points on Tachibana doesn't go fully around the bey but there are two little gaps where the points would connect but instead don't.

Kai: Okay, now all I have to do is time my Planet Dash and I'll be good.

The gym was as silent as the night.

Kai: Now! Planet Dash!

Kitsune dashed at Tachibana at light speeds slamming into the unprotected part of its ring. This resulted in Tachibana being pushed back just for Kitsune to dash at the other unprotected part of Tachibana and slam into it.

Tyler: Good job Kai, but that won't work.

Kai: What?

Tyler: Let's go Techibana!

A light blue aura appeared around Tyler and his left eye turning red. Tachibana then slammed into Kitsune causing Kitsune to burst on contact.

Kai: No!

Tyler: This is the reason you need to awaken your flare. You can strategize all you want to counter a bey but when the blader activates their flare, strategy just goes out the window. All there is to do is hope your flare is stronger then your opponent's, or that your bey is just so much stronger that your opponent's flare won't do much against your bey.

After Tyler said this Sebastian and Joe reentered the gym.

Joe: Kai, did you unlock your flare yet?

Kai: No.

Kai said in a disappointed tone while looking at the ground.

Joe: Oh, well you'll get it eventually!

Joe said in a happy tone while giving a thumbs up.

Sebastian: As expected from a loser like you.

Kai: Shut up Sebastian! When I awaken my flare I'll definitely beat you.

Sebastian: That's if you awaken your flare.

Tyler: Alright calm down you two. Now go sit down at the bleachers, I have to do my mandated speech about the tournament I told you two about.

The three team members then went and sat down at the bottom of the bleachers. Tyler then grabbed a script out of his pocket and then turned his head up to look at the team.

Tyler: Alright so do you'll want it straight from the script or me just telling you what it means?

Sebastian: Just tell us what it means?

Tyler: Okay, so the rules are like the world league. Except each team will only have three members and the winning team will be baste on a best out of three where whichever team wins two battles wins the match and each battle is won by whoever gets two points first with one point being for spin and ring out finishes while bursts are two points. There will be five rounds since there is twenty five teams. The seeding will be based on the team number. Since we're team seven that means we're one of the lucky ones and only have four rounds to compete in. Do you all understand?

The three team members nod their heads.

Tyler: Okay then, then with that I'll end practice here today. Tomorrow we'll start practicing for the tournament with an exhibition match with team nine.

Kai: We're already practicing for the tournament?

Tyler: Well yeah the tournament is the day after tomorrow.

Kai and Joe: What?!

Tyler: This school is made to test your abilities. This is just one of the ways it will. Now go and get prepared, if we lose to team nine, their teacher will never let me live it down.

The team then leaved the gym and eventually got to their shared room.

Kai: I can't believe we're having our first match tomorrow!

Joe: Yeah, I'm so excited! What about you Sebastian?

Sebastian had his head down, looking at Susanoo then lifted it back up to look at Joe.

Sebastian: I don't care, it'll be an easy win for me. The main thing I'm worried about is Kai because of his inability to release his flare.

Kai: Shut up Sebastian! Even without a flare I can still win!

Sebastian: Whatever you say, loser. I'm going to my room.

Sebastian turns to his room's door with the door automatically sliding open and then sliding and locking behind him.

Joe: Yeah I'm going to mine, I'm going to have to be mentally prepared for tomorrow. If you'll go down to the gym to train let me know.

Joe goes to his door where it slides open and then slides and locks behind him.

Kai: Guess I'll do the same.

Kai said while entering his room. Kai then turns to his desk where he would sit on the chair and put Kitsune on the desk.

Beyblade Burst: Planet Chapter #2 "Three way free for all, battle to fight the lightning cutting warrior"

The three boys: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

All three boy's beys are launched into the stadium with all three beys spinning at high velocity. Kitsune and Susanoo spun around the edges of the stadium with Susanoo moving a bit faster then Kitsune. While Joker spun in the center of the stadium since Joe put the trans driver on Joker in stamina mode.

Kai: Let's see what you can do Kitsune!

Kitsune started going towards the center of the stadium and started clashing with Joe.

Joe: Hey leave me alone!

Kitsune was then sent flying as the hard rubber contact point was slammed into Kitsune.

Sebastian: Thanks for the opening moron.

Susanoo then dashed to the center of the stadium and slammed into Joker with barely any affect on Joker's spinning.

Sebastian: What?!

Joe: It seem you two have forgotten. Joker has two main points of contact, the one Kitsune attacked was Joker's hard rubber contact point which allows me to give great attacks. While Susanoo attacked the other part of Joker which contains normal rubber which is perfect for spin stealing against opposite spinning beys, such as Susanoo.

Sebastian glared at Joe after realizing the abilities of Joker.

Joe: Now it seems you understand, my bey is a perfect counter for you Sebastian. Since your bey is an attack type it's defense is generally weak and since it spins left I can just gain spin off of you.

Kai: Not for me though!

Kitsune then dashed to the center of the stadium, slamming into the normal rubber attack point on Joker and sending Joker flying.

Joe: No, Joker!

Sebastian: Time to end Joker Susanoo!

Kai: No, that's my win! Go get Joker Kitsune!

Both beys charge after Joker but when they were about to hit Joker, it moved slightly out of the way causing both beys to hit each other.

Sebastian: Get out of my way Kai!

Kai: You're in my way!

Sebastian starts getting angry which results in his eyes turning red and a red and orange aura appearing.

Kai: What the heck is that?

Tyler: Looks someone finally unlocked their flare.

Kai: What's flare?!

Tyler: Flare is an evolved version of resonance which only the resonance of a user and their perfectly paired Sparking bey can achieve. And it seems Sebastian is the first one to awaken such a power, which makes sense since the scouting report says he's apparently a blading genius.

Sebastian: Susanoo, Hero Upper!

Susanoo attacks Kitsune by using the blades on the Hero ring and 3A chassis which caused Kitsune to be sent upward with a powerful uppercut. Kitsune flew in the air at Kai and bursted with the parts flying in Kai's right hand.

Kai: Oh come on! How could I lose to this guy?!

Sebastian: Now Susanoo, let's end this.

Susanoo then dashed at Joker at light speeds which caused Joe to not be able to react to Susanoo. Susanoo then slammed into Joker causing Joker to be sent flying outside the stadium.

Joe: Aw man!

Tyler: Well that's it. Sebastian is the winner of this three way battle and gets to battle me.

Sebastian: Alright then, let's get to it.

Sebastian says smirking while catching Susanoo in his left hand.

Tyler: I'm impressed with your abilities with your new Sparking bey. Though I must say, you still have a lot to learn.

Sebastian: I may, but it will be enough to defeat you.

Tyler: We'll see about that.

Joe: Bladers ready, get set!

Tyler and Sebastian: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys are sent into the stadium at amazing speeds.

Tyler: Time to see what Sebastian can do with his new found power.

Tyler thought while Tachibana took the center.

Sebastian: Now, to see what this power can do. Rise Susanoo!

Sebastian's eyes turned back red and a red and orange aura appeared again.

Sebastian: Now, Hero Upper!

Susanoo charged at Tachibana just for Tachibana to dodge Susanoo. Tyler then opened his pocket to grab his book and start reading.

Sebastian: Are you seriously reading during our battle?!

Tyler: Well yeah, the outcome isn't going to change any way. Plus I finally got to the part where Kakashi is doing the bell test with Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.

Sebastian: What?

Tyler: Eh, you wouldn't get it.

Sebastian: Whatever, Susanoo!

Susanoo changed direction to charge at Tachibana again just for Tachibana to dodge again.

Sebastian: Stop dodging and fight me!

Tyler: Fine you want me to get serious, then let's get serious.

Susanoo then changes directions again and charges at Tachibana.

Tyler: Swift Counter!

Susanoo slammed into Tachibana's defensive points of contact which caused them to move inward and push the springs within the ring back and then the springs inside the ring released which caused the point of contact to fling back out at Susanoo. Causing Susanoo to go flying to the stadium wall behind it and burst on impact.

Tyler: I expected more from a so called genius, but whatever, just gives me something else to work on with you.

Sebastian grabbed Susanoo from the stadium with his left hand and clenched his right hand in fury.

Tyler: Alright our first task is as we saw with Sebastian is to awaken your flare. Sebastian, since you already awakened the first version of your flare you can sit out and cool down.

Sebastian turned around and went to the other side of the gym with spite.

Kai: What do you mean by first version?

Tyler: Well as you battle and grow in strength and create and grow a connection with your bey, your flare will increase in power and do things like your aura changing colors and possible physical changes like Sebastian's eyes turning red.

Joe: How many versions are there?

Tyler: Who knows. There could be an infinite amount of versions of your flare. The amount of versions of your flare just depends on how much you increase in strength and connection with your bey. I'm currently at my third version but I know many others who are at their first, second, third, and eighth versions. And the version you're at doesn't symbolize if you're stronger than someone or not. Someone could beat you when they're at their first version while you're at your eighteenth. The version you're at just symbolizes your growth from where you began and how your strength and connection has changed. But first thing we have to do is awaken you two's first versions of your flare since there's going to be a tournament happening soon.

Kai: Tournament?!

Tyler: Yep it's a tournament where every team in this school will compete. The tournament is to show your powers off to world teams such as BC Sol, the Raging Bulls, AS Gallus, SB Rios, Bladebreakers, Team GanGan Galaxy, Team Excalibur, and Team Garcias.

Joe: I know BC Sol, the Raging Bulls, AS Gallus, and SB Rios. But what are the other teams? I've never heard of them.

Tyler: I don't know, they're new teams that got established into the world league pretty soon after the famous finals between BC Sol and the Raging Bulls. Apparently that final increased demand in the world league a lot which caused many investors and franchise owners to get into the scene. I wonder how Team Garcias's recruitment is going since their entire team is made of a generation of Garcias. But whatever, you'll can worry about the scouts when you get to the tournament. Now let's start this battle between you two. Now get ready, and set!

Kai and Joe: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys are launched into the stadium at high speeds. Though instead of before with Joker going into the center of the stadium Joker hung around the edges of the stadium.

Kai: Attack mode?

Joe: Yeah, since we're battling to awaken our flare's and Sebastian awakened his from being in a clash with you and from attack me and you, I thought it would be more beneficial for us to copy that strategy.

Kai: Alright then, let's go!

Joe: You're on!

Both Kitsune and Joker clashed into the stadium causing sparks to fly.

Kai: Go Kitsune! Planet Dash!

Kitsune started moving in a flower pattern and attacking Joker at immeasurable speeds.

Joe: Joker, Jynx Smash!

Kitsune slams into the hard rubber point on the Jynx ring where all of Joker's energy was being built up and was then sent flying.

Kai: No, Kitsune!

Joe: Joker time to end this! Use Jynx Smash again!

Kai: No on my watch! Planet Dash!

Both beys clash in the center of the stadium with sparks flying across the stadium.

Kai: Go Kitsune!

Joe: Joker, BREAK THROUGH!

A aura started appearing on Joe, that of purple and yellow and with his right eye turning purple while his left eye turned yellow. An explosion occurred in the stadium with both beys being sent back. When the dust settled the bladers looked into the stadium to see Joker barely staying on it's preformance tip while spinning while Kitsune bursted from making contact with the stadium wall behind it when the explosion occurred.

Kai: Oh come on, not again!

Tyler: Good job Joe, you've awoken your flare. No go with Sebastian to your lunch break. I'll be here with Kai to see if he can awaken his flare.

Joe: Okay, let's go Sebastian.

Sebastian: Okay.

Sebastian got up from the side of the gym and walked with Joe to the cafeteria.

Kai: Why can't I do this flare thing?! I've put my all into these battles but yet I still can't do it!

Tyler: Woah, come down. It's okay to be last at some thing. The main thing is that you don't let it last for long.

Kai still looked at the ground in anger and sadness.

Tyler: Okay, let's talk.

Tyler goes to the opposite side of the gym from where Sebastian was sitting where two lunch boxes were. Tyler brought the two over and tossed one to Kai.

Tyler: It's actually kinda good you're last at this. Usually most kids master this pretty quickly which causes me to eat in silence in this gym. So it's nice to finally have some company.

Kai: Yeah, but I still don't get what the problem with my abilities are.

Tyler: You know, I had a friend just like you. His name was Elijah Urban, he had a bey called  Know Eros 00 Axe High Charge' 4A. He also had problems like you with his flare.  

Kai: Did he ever achieve a flare?

Tyler: Yeah he did. So you most definitely can achieve one. Just keep working and find out what your problems are and work on them. But first you need to recharge, let's eat.

*10 minutes later*

Kai: Alright, time to get back to work.

Kai said while jumping back up.

Tyler: Well since Sebastian and Joe still have twenty minutes of their break left, I'll be your opponent.

Tyler said when readying his launcher in his right hand.

Kai: Alright, let's go teach.

Kai and Tyler: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high speeds with Tachibana taking the center while Kitsune circled around.

Kai: Kitsune, use Planet Dash!

Kitsune charged at Tachibama, attacking in a flower pattern just for Tachibana to dodge all of Kitsune's attacks.

Kai: Come on Kitsune, let's go faster!

Kitsune started spinning at the edge of the stadium. Gaining more and more speed still it eventually came down for more flower pattern attacks.

Kai: Planet Dash!

Kitsune dashed at Tachibana at even higher speeds than before.

Tyler: Good try but that won't be enough.

Tachibana then dodged Kitsune again and moved to the outer side of the stadium.

Tyler: Come get me Kai.

Kitsune then dashed at Tachibana again, making contact with one of the Lightning ring's defensive point of contact. This pushed the point back and pushed the spring back just for the spring to then push back flinging the contact point forward.

Tyler: Swift Counter!

Kitsune is sent flying and then bursted from making contact with the stadium wall behind it.

Kai: No, Kitsune!

Tyler: Seems like your battle intelligence also needs some improvements. You fell for the exact move that Sebastian fell for.

Kai: Well it's kinda hard to think of a counter when I try to attack with all my strength you can just counter it automatically.  

Tyler: That's the point of my bey.

Tyler said while grabbing Tachibana from the stadium.

Tyler: When you battle someone with high skill, you have to be strategic and think. You can't just go all out at the start, especially in these days with beys with gimmicks which can easily punish a mistake like that. You have to figure out your opponent's weaknesses and figure out how to counter them. Especially with you since your bey is a standard attack type with no real gimmick.

Kai: Okay, let's go again.

Tyler: Alright.

Kai and Tyler: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys are launched into the stadium at the same speed as before with Tachibana going to the center while Kitsune circled around it.

Kai: Okay, so his bey's ring has those defensive points which can counter a bey's attack. So how could I possibly beat him?

Kai looked at Tachibana while Tyler smiled watching Kai analyze Tachibana.

Kai: There.

Kai then noticed that the defensive points on Tachibana doesn't go fully around the bey but there are two little gaps where the points would connect but instead don't.

Kai: Okay, now all I have to do is time my Planet Dash and I'll be good.

The gym was as silent as the night.

Kai: Now! Planet Dash!

Kitsune dashed at Tachibana at light speeds slamming into the unprotected part of its ring. This resulted in Tachibana being pushed back just for Kitsune to dash at the other unprotected part of Tachibana and slam into it.

Tyler: Good job Kai, but that won't work.

Kai: What?

Tyler: Let's go Techibana!

A light blue aura appeared around Tyler and his left eye turning red. Tachibana then slammed into Kitsune causing Kitsune to burst on contact.

Kai: No!

Tyler: This is the reason you need to awaken your flare. You can strategize all you want to counter a bey but when the blader activates their flare, strategy just goes out the window. All there is to do is hope your flare is stronger then your opponent's, or that your bey is just so much stronger that your opponent's flare won't do much against your bey.

After Tyler said this Sebastian and Joe reentered the gym.

Joe: Kai, did you unlock your flare yet?

Kai: No.

Kai said in a disappointed tone while looking at the ground.

Joe: Oh, well you'll get it eventually!

Joe said in a happy tone while giving a thumbs up.

Sebastian: As expected from a loser like you.

Kai: Shut up Sebastian! When I awaken my flare I'll definitely beat you.

Sebastian: That's if you awaken your flare.

Tyler: Alright calm down you two. Now go sit down at the bleachers, I have to do my mandated speech about the tournament I told you two about.

The three team members then went and sat down at the bottom of the bleachers. Tyler then grabbed a script out of his pocket and then turned his head up to look at the team.

Tyler: Alright so do you'll want it straight from the script or me just telling you what it means?

Sebastian: Just tell us what it means?

Tyler: Okay, so the rules are like the world league. Except each team will only have three members and the winning team will be baste on a best out of three where whichever team wins two battles wins the match and each battle is won by whoever gets two points first with one point being for spin and ring out finishes while bursts are two points. There will be five rounds since there is twenty five teams. The seeding will be based on the team number. Since we're team seven that means we're one of the lucky ones and only have four rounds to compete in. Do you all understand?

The three team members nod their heads.

Tyler: Okay then, then with that I'll end practice here today. Tomorrow we'll start practicing for the tournament with an exhibition match with team nine.

Kai: We're already practicing for the tournament?

Tyler: Well yeah the tournament is the day after tomorrow.

Kai and Joe: What?!

Tyler: This school is made to test your abilities. This is just one of the ways it will. Now go and get prepared, if we lose to team nine, their teacher will never let me live it down.

The team then leaved the gym and eventually got to their shared room.

Kai: I can't believe we're having our first match tomorrow!

Joe: Yeah, I'm so excited! What about you Sebastian?

Sebastian had his head down, looking at Susanoo then lifted it back up to look at Joe.

Sebastian: I don't care, it'll be an easy win for me. The main thing I'm worried about is Kai because of his inability to release his flare.

Kai: Shut up Sebastian! Even without a flare I can still win!

Sebastian: Whatever you say, loser. I'm going to my room.

Sebastian turns to his room's door with the door automatically sliding open and then sliding and locking behind him.

Joe: Yeah I'm going to mine, I'm going to have to be mentally prepared for tomorrow. If you'll go down to the gym to train let me know.

Joe goes to his door where it slides open and then slides and locks behind him.

Kai: Guess I'll do the same.

Nice episode. A lot of battles in this one (I also feel bad for Kai like he got disrespected in this episode man though you did Joe nice so 👍).

The Pace' Driver features two gimmicks, a soft rubber star and a height changing gimmick. The soft rubber star is shaped like R2F(Metal Fight), and is about as soft as the Xtreme' from RBV 22. The height changing gimmick is most like Dimension, and is done before battle, the two heights are "Low" and "Middle." The heights are similar to that of Low(GT Driver) on the Low Height setting and Accel(Single Layer Driver). It also features a red cap and golden spring. (Mainly black, and the rubber is red.)

Susanoo slammed into Tachibana's defensive points of contact which caused them to move inward and push the springs within the ring back and then the springs inside the ring released which caused the point of contact to fling back out at Susanoo. Causing Susanoo to go flying to the stadium wall behind it and burst on impact.

Tyler: I expected more from a so called genius, but whatever, just gives me something else to work on with you.

Sebastian grabbed Susanoo from the stadium with his left hand and clenched his right hand in fury.

Tyler: Alright our first task is as we saw with Sebastian is to awaken your flare. Sebastian, since you already awakened the first version of your flare you can sit out and cool down.

Sebastian turned around and went to the other side of the gym with spite.

Kai: What do you mean by first version?

Tyler: Well as you battle and grow in strength and create and grow a connection with your bey, your flare will increase in power and do things like your aura changing colors and possible physical changes like Sebastian's eyes turning red.

Joe: How many versions are there?

Tyler: Who knows. There could be an infinite amount of versions of your flare. The amount of versions of your flare just depends on how much you increase in strength and connection with your bey. I'm currently at my third version but I know many others who are at their first, second, third, and eighth versions. And the version you're at doesn't symbolize if you're stronger than someone or not. Someone could beat you when they're at their first version while you're at your eighteenth. The version you're at just symbolizes your growth from where you began and how your strength and connection has changed. But first thing we have to do is awaken you two's first versions of your flare since there's going to be a tournament happening soon.

Kai: Tournament?!

Tyler: Yep it's a tournament where every team in this school will compete. The tournament is to show your powers off to world teams such as BC Sol, the Raging Bulls, AS Gallus, SB Rios, Bladebreakers, Team GanGan Galaxy, Team Excalibur, and Team Garcias.

Joe: I know BC Sol, the Raging Bulls, AS Gallus, and SB Rios. But what are the other teams? I've never heard of them.

Tyler: I don't know, they're new teams that got established into the world league pretty soon after the famous finals between BC Sol and the Raging Bulls. Apparently that final increased demand in the world league a lot which caused many investors and franchise owners to get into the scene. I wonder how Team Garcias's recruitment is going since their entire team is made of a generation of Garcias. But whatever, you'll can worry about the scouts when you get to the tournament. Now let's start this battle between you two. Now get ready, and set!

Both beys are launched into the stadium at high speeds. Though instead of before with Joker going into the center of the stadium Joker hung around the edges of the stadium.

Kai: Attack mode?

Joe: Yeah, since we're battling to awaken our flare's and Sebastian awakened his from being in a clash with you and from attack me and you, I thought it would be more beneficial for us to copy that strategy.

Kai: Alright then, let's go!

Both Kitsune and Joker clashed into the stadium causing sparks to fly.

Kai: Go Kitsune! Planet Dash!

Kitsune started moving in a flower pattern and attacking Joker at immeasurable speeds.

Joe: Joker, Jynx Smash!

Kitsune slams into the hard rubber point on the Jynx ring where all of Joker's energy was being built up and was then sent flying.

Kai: No, Kitsune!

Joe: Joker time to end this! Use Jynx Smash again!

Kai: No on my watch! Planet Dash!

Both beys clash in the center of the stadium with sparks flying across the stadium.

Kai: Go Kitsune!

Joe: Joker, BREAK THROUGH!

A aura started appearing on Joe, that of purple and yellow and with his right eye turning purple while his left eye turned yellow. An explosion occurred in the stadium with both beys being sent back. When the dust settled the bladers looked into the stadium to see Joker barely staying on it's preformance tip while spinning while Kitsune bursted from making contact with the stadium wall behind it when the explosion occurred.

Kai: Oh come on, not again!

Tyler: Good job Joe, you've awoken your flare. No go with Sebastian to your lunch break. I'll be here with Kai to see if he can awaken his flare.

Joe: Okay, let's go Sebastian.

Sebastian: Okay.

Sebastian got up from the side of the gym and walked with Joe to the cafeteria.

Kai: Why can't I do this flare thing?! I've put my all into these battles but yet I still can't do it!

Tyler: Woah, come down. It's okay to be last at some thing. The main thing is that you don't let it last for long.

Kai still looked at the ground in anger and sadness.

Tyler goes to the opposite side of the gym from where Sebastian was sitting where two lunch boxes were. Tyler brought the two over and tossed one to Kai.

Tyler: It's actually kinda good you're last at this. Usually most kids master this pretty quickly which causes me to eat in silence in this gym. So it's nice to finally have some company.

Kai: Yeah, but I still don't get what the problem with my abilities are.

Kitsune charged at Tachibama, attacking in a flower pattern just for Tachibana to dodge all of Kitsune's attacks.

Kai: Come on Kitsune, let's go faster!

Kitsune started spinning at the edge of the stadium. Gaining more and more speed still it eventually came down for more flower pattern attacks.

Kai: Planet Dash!

Kitsune dashed at Tachibana at even higher speeds than before.

Tyler: Good try but that won't be enough.

Tachibana then dodged Kitsune again and moved to the outer side of the stadium.

Tyler: Come get me Kai.

Kitsune then dashed at Tachibana again, making contact with one of the Lightning ring's defensive point of contact. This pushed the point back and pushed the spring back just for the spring to then push back flinging the contact point forward.

Tyler: Swift Counter!

Kitsune is sent flying and then bursted from making contact with the stadium wall behind it.

Kai: No, Kitsune!

Tyler: Seems like your battle intelligence also needs some improvements. You fell for the exact move that Sebastian fell for.

Kai: Well it's kinda hard to think of a counter when I try to attack with all my strength you can just counter it automatically.  

Tyler: That's the point of my bey.

Tyler said while grabbing Tachibana from the stadium.

Tyler: When you battle someone with high skill, you have to be strategic and think. You can't just go all out at the start, especially in these days with beys with gimmicks which can easily punish a mistake like that. You have to figure out your opponent's weaknesses and figure out how to counter them. Especially with you since your bey is a standard attack type with no real gimmick.

Kai: Okay, let's go again.

Tyler: Alright.

Kai and Tyler: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys are launched into the stadium at the same speed as before with Tachibana going to the center while Kitsune circled around it.

Kai: Okay, so his bey's ring has those defensive points which can counter a bey's attack. So how could I possibly beat him?

Kai looked at Tachibana while Tyler smiled watching Kai analyze Tachibana.

Kai: There.

Kai then noticed that the defensive points on Tachibana doesn't go fully around the bey but there are two little gaps where the points would connect but instead don't.

Kai: Okay, now all I have to do is time my Planet Dash and I'll be good.

The gym was as silent as the night.

Kai: Now! Planet Dash!

Kitsune dashed at Tachibana at light speeds slamming into the unprotected part of its ring. This resulted in Tachibana being pushed back just for Kitsune to dash at the other unprotected part of Tachibana and slam into it.

Tyler: Good job Kai, but that won't work.

Kai: What?

Tyler: Let's go Techibana!

A light blue aura appeared around Tyler and his left eye turning red. Tachibana then slammed into Kitsune causing Kitsune to burst on contact.

Kai: No!

Tyler: This is the reason you need to awaken your flare. You can strategize all you want to counter a bey but when the blader activates their flare, strategy just goes out the window. All there is to do is hope your flare is stronger then your opponent's, or that your bey is just so much stronger that your opponent's flare won't do much against your bey.

After Tyler said this Sebastian and Joe reentered the gym.

Joe: Kai, did you unlock your flare yet?

Kai: No.

Kai said in a disappointed tone while looking at the ground.

Joe: Oh, well you'll get it eventually!

Joe said in a happy tone while giving a thumbs up.

Sebastian: As expected from a loser like you.

Kai: Shut up Sebastian! When I awaken my flare I'll definitely beat you.

Tyler: Alright calm down you two. Now go sit down at the bleachers, I have to do my mandated speech about the tournament I told you two about.

The three team members then went and sat down at the bottom of the bleachers. Tyler then grabbed a script out of his pocket and then turned his head up to look at the team.

Tyler: Alright so do you'll want it straight from the script or me just telling you what it means?

Sebastian: Just tell us what it means?

Tyler: Okay, so the rules are like the world league. Except each team will only have three members and the winning team will be baste on a best out of three where whichever team wins two battles wins the match and each battle is won by whoever gets two points first with one point being for spin and ring out finishes while bursts are two points. There will be five rounds since there is twenty five teams. The seeding will be based on the team number. Since we're team seven that means we're one of the lucky ones and only have four rounds to compete in. Do you all understand?

The three team members nod their heads.

Tyler: Okay then, then with that I'll end practice here today. Tomorrow we'll start practicing for the tournament with an exhibition match with team nine.

Kai: We're already practicing for the tournament?

Tyler: Well yeah the tournament is the day after tomorrow.

Kai and Joe: What?!

Tyler: This school is made to test your abilities. This is just one of the ways it will. Now go and get prepared, if we lose to team nine, their teacher will never let me live it down.

The team then leaved the gym and eventually got to their shared room.

Kai: I can't believe we're having our first match tomorrow!

Sebastian: I don't care, it'll be an easy win for me. The main thing I'm worried about is Kai because of his inability to release his flare.

Sebastian turns to his room's door with the door automatically sliding open and then sliding and locking behind him.

Joe: Yeah I'm going to mine, I'm going to have to be mentally prepared for tomorrow. If you'll go down to the gym to train let me know.

Joe goes to his door where it slides open and then slides and locks behind him.

Kai: Guess I'll do the same.

Kai said while entering his room. Kai then turns to his desk where he would sit on the chair and put Kitsune on the desk.

Kai: Why can't I release me flare? Do I even have one?

Kai would then get out of his chair and lay on his bed and start to drift off to sleep.

Really cool writing style and interaction, you're good. Tho you dump a lot of exposure in large chunks. The flare talk was kind of systematic, the tournament made more sense that way but some intervention in the middle of the dialogue would have been a nice addition (not necessarily needed as they aren't as open with Tyler yet so it makes sense, though his "explaining what it means" did sound a lot like "by the script"). You don't need to make us know everything about stuff at the moment you introduce stuff, you can progressively add-on to it, in the same way you don't lay all you cards on the table at the beginning of the game, you keep some hidden for strategy.

Ring - Lentic: It features 2 blades divided into 2 segments each, they slope akin to Guilty but the layer is symmetrical. Thus, one blade dish out strong upper attack and the other downward smash attacks. That makes the ring look slanted. The blades are separated by a small gap, and at the end of each there is a protrusion that goes up and down, serving as a parry blade in case it misses an attack.
It's main gimmick is that it is fused with it's chassis so that the blades have more space to be efficient, this also means there is metal to conpensate for the chassis-less weight loss (It is not that heavy though).

Chip - Oilliphéist: A chip that features a serpent-like monster named Oilliphéist.

Teeth: 3 really good teeth

Driver - Rapid: A large and heavy attack type driver that features a rubber flat tip with a wider rubber base above it. When the bey is launched, the smaller tip will be out, but as it loses spin the tip will go inward and reveal the wider tip. This is meant to accelerate the bey to keep attacking for a little more time at the cost of stamina.

Special moves: 
- Lentic Upper: An upper attack (upwards) using the upper blade from Lentic.
- Lentic Crash: A force smash (downwards) attack using the force smash blade from Lentic.
- Rapid Smash: A ram attack that benefits from the high speed that Rapid gives rather than Lentic, though it can be used in conjunction with the other moves.

All three boy's beys are launched into the stadium with all three beys spinning at high velocity. Kitsune and Susanoo spun around the edges of the stadium with Susanoo moving a bit faster then Kitsune. While Joker spun in the center of the stadium since Joe put the trans driver on Joker in stamina mode.

Kai: Let's see what you can do Kitsune!

Kitsune started going towards the center of the stadium and started clashing with Joe.

Joe: Hey leave me alone!

Kitsune was then sent flying as the hard rubber contact point was slammed into Kitsune.

Sebastian: Thanks for the opening moron.

Susanoo then dashed to the center of the stadium and slammed into Joker with barely any affect on Joker's spinning.

Sebastian: What?!

Joe: It seem you two have forgotten. Joker has two main points of contact, the one Kitsune attacked was Joker's hard rubber contact point which allows me to give great attacks. While Susanoo attacked the other part of Joker which contains normal rubber which is perfect for spin stealing against opposite spinning beys, such as Susanoo.

Sebastian glared at Joe after realizing the abilities of Joker.

Joe: Now it seems you understand, my bey is a perfect counter for you Sebastian. Since your bey is an attack type it's defense is generally weak and since it spins left I can just gain spin off of you.

Kai: Not for me though!

Kitsune then dashed to the center of the stadium, slamming into the normal rubber attack point on Joker and sending Joker flying.

Joe: No, Joker!

Sebastian: Time to end Joker Susanoo!

Kai: No, that's my win! Go get Joker Kitsune!

Both beys charge after Joker but when they were about to hit Joker, it moved slightly out of the way causing both beys to hit each other.

Sebastian: Get out of my way Kai!

Sebastian starts getting angry which results in his eyes turning red and a red and orange aura appearing.

Kai: What the heck is that?

Tyler: Looks someone finally unlocked their flare.

Kai: What's flare?!

Tyler: Flare is an evolved version of resonance which only the resonance of a user and their perfectly paired Sparking bey can achieve. And it seems Sebastian is the first one to awaken such a power, which makes sense since the scouting report says he's apparently a blading genius.

Sebastian: Susanoo, Hero Upper!

Susanoo attacks Kitsune by using the blades on the Hero ring and 3A chassis which caused Kitsune to be sent upward with a powerful uppercut. Kitsune flew in the air at Kai and bursted with the parts flying in Kai's right hand.

Kai: Oh come on! How could I lose to this guy?!

Sebastian: Now Susanoo, let's end this.

Susanoo then dashed at Joker at light speeds which caused Joe to not be able to react to Susanoo. Susanoo then slammed into Joker causing Joker to be sent flying outside the stadium.

Joe: Aw man!

Tyler: Well that's it. Sebastian is the winner of this three way battle and gets to battle me.

Sebastian: Alright then, let's get to it.

Sebastian says smirking while catching Susanoo in his left hand.

Tyler: Swift Counter!

Kitsune is sent flying and then bursted from making contact with the stadium wall behind it.

Kai: No, Kitsune!

Tyler: Seems like your battle intelligence also needs some improvements. You fell for the exact move that Sebastian fell for.

Kai: Well it's kinda hard to think of a counter when I try to attack with all my strength you can just counter it automatically.  

Tyler: That's the point of my bey.

Tyler said while grabbing Tachibana from the stadium.

Tyler: When you battle someone with high skill, you have to be strategic and think. You can't just go all out at the start, especially in these days with beys with gimmicks which can easily punish a mistake like that. You have to figure out your opponent's weaknesses and figure out how to counter them. Especially with you since your bey is a standard attack type with no real gimmick.

Kai: Okay, let's go again.

Tyler: Alright.

Kai and Tyler: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys are launched into the stadium at the same speed as before with Tachibana going to the center while Kitsune circled around it.

Kai: Okay, so his bey's ring has those defensive points which can counter a bey's attack. So how could I possibly beat him?

Kai looked at Tachibana while Tyler smiled watching Kai analyze Tachibana.

Kai: There.

Kai then noticed that the defensive points on Tachibana doesn't go fully around the bey but there are two little gaps where the points would connect but instead don't.

Kai: Okay, now all I have to do is time my Planet Dash and I'll be good.

The gym was as silent as the night.

Kai: Now! Planet Dash!

Kitsune dashed at Tachibana at light speeds slamming into the unprotected part of its ring. This resulted in Tachibana being pushed back just for Kitsune to dash at the other unprotected part of Tachibana and slam into it.

Tyler: Good job Kai, but that won't work.

Kai: What?

Tyler: Let's go Techibana!

A light blue aura appeared around Tyler and his left eye turning red. Tachibana then slammed into Kitsune causing Kitsune to burst on contact.

Kai: No!

Tyler: This is the reason you need to awaken your flare. You can strategize all you want to counter a bey but when the blader activates their flare, strategy just goes out the window. All there is to do is hope your flare is stronger then your opponent's, or that your bey is just so much stronger that your opponent's flare won't do much against your bey.

After Tyler said this Sebastian and Joe reentered the gym.

Joe: Kai, did you unlock your flare yet?

Kai: No.

Kai said in a disappointed tone while looking at the ground.

Joe: Oh, well you'll get it eventually!

Joe said in a happy tone while giving a thumbs up.

Sebastian: As expected from a loser like you.

Kai: Shut up Sebastian! When I awaken my flare I'll definitely beat you.

Sebastian: That's if you awaken your flare.

Tyler: Alright calm down you two. Now go sit down at the bleachers, I have to do my mandated speech about the tournament I told you two about.

The three team members then went and sat down at the bottom of the bleachers. Tyler then grabbed a script out of his pocket and then turned his head up to look at the team.

Tyler: Alright so do you'll want it straight from the script or me just telling you what it means?

Sebastian: Just tell us what it means?

Tyler: Okay, so the rules are like the world league. Except each team will only have three members and the winning team will be baste on a best out of three where whichever team wins two battles wins the match and each battle is won by whoever gets two points first with one point being for spin and ring out finishes while bursts are two points. There will be five rounds since there is twenty five teams. The seeding will be based on the team number. Since we're team seven that means we're one of the lucky ones and only have four rounds to compete in. Do you all understand?

The three team members nod their heads.

Tyler: Okay then, then with that I'll end practice here today. Tomorrow we'll start practicing for the tournament with an exhibition match with team nine.

Kai: We're already practicing for the tournament?

Tyler: Well yeah the tournament is the day after tomorrow.

Kai and Joe: What?!

Tyler: This school is made to test your abilities. This is just one of the ways it will. Now go and get prepared, if we lose to team nine, their teacher will never let me live it down.

The team then leaved the gym and eventually got to their shared room.

Kai: I can't believe we're having our first match tomorrow!

Joe: Yeah, I'm so excited! What about you Sebastian?

Sebastian had his head down, looking at Susanoo then lifted it back up to look at Joe.

Sebastian: I don't care, it'll be an easy win for me. The main thing I'm worried about is Kai because of his inability to release his flare.

Kai: Shut up Sebastian! Even without a flare I can still win!

Sebastian: Whatever you say, loser. I'm going to my room.

Sebastian turns to his room's door with the door automatically sliding open and then sliding and locking behind him.

Joe: Yeah I'm going to mine, I'm going to have to be mentally prepared for tomorrow. If you'll go down to the gym to train let me know.

Joe goes to his door where it slides open and then slides and locks behind him.

Kai: Guess I'll do the same.

Kai said while entering his room. Kai then turns to his desk where he would sit on the chair and put Kitsune on the desk.

Kai: Why can't I release me flare? Do I even have one?

Kai would then get out of his chair and lay on his bed and start to drift off to sleep.

I would really like you'll opinions on this. Chapter #3, as you can guess is also getting a delay till next week.

Really cool writing style and interaction, you're good. Tho you dump a lot of exposure in large chunks. The flare talk was kind of systematic, the tournament made more sense that way but some intervention in the middle of the dialogue would have been a nice addition (not necessarily needed as they aren't as open with Tyler yet so it makes sense, though his "explaining what it means" did sound a lot like "by the script"). You don't need to make us know everything about stuff at the moment you introduce stuff, you can progressively add-on to it, in the same way you don't lay all you cards on the table at the beginning of the game, you keep some hidden for strategy.

Personality - A stubborn girl that bumps head first into action without a care to give for consequences, as long as she sees it as a good option. She is a bit inpatient at times and also an airhead. She is extroverted and loves to talk, maybe a little too much. She doesn't understand the concept of personal space. She uses her rollerblades anytime she can, she is very good with them. She cares about others too, and will stand up to about anyone, though she can be harsh when needed. She rarely holds back on anything.

Flare: Her flare is a smoke-y aura and is visible a lot thanks to her giving her all always in battle. Thankfully, it is not too bright. Her connection with her bey is also strong, but it doesn't mean she is OP, only experienced with her bey: Oilliphéist.

Ring - Lentic: It features 2 blades divided into 2 segments each, they slope akin to Guilty but the layer is symmetrical. Thus, one blade dish out strong upper attack and the other downward smash attacks. That makes the ring look slanted. The blades are separated by a small gap, and at the end of each there is a protrusion that goes up and down, serving as a parry blade in case it misses an attack.
It's main gimmick is that it is fused with it's chassis so that the blades have more space to be efficient, this also means there is metal to conpensate for the chassis-less weight loss (It is not that heavy though).

Chip - Oilliphéist: A chip that features a serpent-like monster named Oilliphéist.

Teeth: 3 really good teeth

Driver - Rapid: A large and heavy attack type driver that features a rubber flat tip with a wider rubber base above it. When the bey is launched, the smaller tip will be out, but as it loses spin the tip will go inward and reveal the wider tip. This is meant to accelerate the bey to keep attacking for a little more time at the cost of stamina.

Special moves: 
- Lentic Upper: An upper attack (upwards) using the upper blade from Lentic.
- Lentic Crash: A force smash (downwards) attack using the force smash blade from Lentic.
- Rapid Smash: A ram attack that benefits from the high speed that Rapid gives rather than Lentic, though it can be used in conjunction with the other moves.

Beyblade Burst: Planet Chapter #3 "Drifting asleep, a demon emerges"

Kai opened his eyes to see he was laying in yellow water.

Kai: Please don't tell me I'm laying in pee!

Kai then got up to look around at his surroundings. He saw dark yellow walls surrounding him but then when he turned around he saw silver iron gate that blocked off some area from him. Kai looked up to see the middle of the giant gate had a lock which caused the gate to stay closed. Though out of nowhere Kai started to hear breathing from behind the gate.

Kai: What is that? Is anyone in here?

Kai said this while walking slowly to the gate where he then peered into the other side of the gate to see a giant orange fox with nine large tails asleep inside.

Kai: That fox looks exactly like Kitsune's avatar design on the bey. Could it be?

Kai then saw the fox's eyes open and the head turn to look at Kai face to face.

Kitsune: LET ME OUT!

Kai then woke up franticly with the fox's voice ringing in his ears. Kai then looked at his desk to see Kitsune glowing orange just for the glowing to disappear and Kitsune going back to normal.

Kai: So that was Kitsune.

Kai leaped out of his bed and grabbed Kitsune.

Kai: What does he mean by, let me out? Does he want to be let out of the physical bey? Or out of the blocked off area?

Kai then shaked his head side to side.

Kai: Whatever I need to clean my head. Some training can do that.

Kai grabbed his launcher from his desk and then left his room.

Kai: Joe, you want to come train?

Joe: Sure.

Joe left his room and then walked out of the dorm with Kai.

Joe: Should we ask Sebastian to come with us?

Kai: No, let little hot shot do whatever he wants.

Sebastian: I heard that!

Sebastian left his room.

Sebastian: And I'm coming too.

Kai: And to think I believed I could have one training session without seeing your face.

Sebastian: Go cry me a river.

The three bladers started walking to their gym but then they started hearing beys clashing from another room. They followed the sound till they entered a room where they found bladers battling each other.

???: Hey there's some new people here. Do any of you want to battle me?

Kai: Sure!

Kai then ran over to the stadium with his launcher in hand.

???: We have two verses two's over here.

Sebastian: Come on Joe.

Joe: Of coarse I'm stuck with the emo.

Sebastian: What did you say?!

Joe: Nothing.

Both bladers ran over to the two verses two stadium.

Kai: Hey, my names Kai Ulrich, how about you?

Owen: Names Owen O'Brien. You ready?

Kai: Sure.

Kai looked at Owen, Owen had short brown hair with a fringe, green eyes, blue sweater with cuffs and asymmetrical stripes, blue shorts with black knee protection and a bicycle helmet with brown sneakers.

Though there was no sign of a disc or fused chassis on the bey which confused Kai a little. The driver had a rubber flat tip with a large wider rubber base above it.

Kai accidentally said this out loud where Owen could hear it.

Owen: I'm not a man stupid! I'm a beautiful young woman, I would have you know!

Kai: Oh okay, my bad.

Kai turned his eyes to the stadium where he watched both beys circling the stadium at around relative velocity but the main difference was that   Oilliphéist was spinning counter clockwise.

Owen: Well let's see what you can do.

Her flare caused an aura to appear around her with the asura being a smokey dark blue.

Kai: So her bey spins counterclockwise like Susanoo, let's see if she can battle like Sebastian as well.

Kai thought.

Owen: Let's go Oilliphéist! Hit his bey with Lentic Upper!

Kai: Not on my watch! Planet Drive!

Both beys clash into the center of the stadium and get sent flying from the power being released by both beys.

Owen: How can you match me with my flare on?!

Kai: I don't need flare to be able to beat you!

Both beys clashed into the center of the stadium again with the same result of both beys being sent flying.

Owen: Why don't you use your flare?! It's pretty clear we're even when I have my flare on and you don't so with your own flare you should be able to finish this!

Kai: Well the thing is, I can't use my flare.

Owen: You what?!

Owen's flare dissipated and she covered her mouth trying to not laugh.

Kai: There Kitsune!

Kitsune then slammed into Oilliphéist who wasn't glowing anymore and sent it out of the stadium.

Owen: Hey!

Kai: Just because I don't have a flare doesn't mean I can't beat you!

Owen: You got lucky, if I didn't lose focus I would've beaten you!

Kai: We'll see about that!

Owen's flare appeared again when she readied her launcher.

Both: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were sent into the stadium at light speeds with both beys slamming into each other in the center of the stadium and then flying back.

Kai: Planet Dash!

Owen: Lentic Upper!

Both beys slam into each other just for them to be sent back again.

Owen: I'm going to beat you!

Kai: Oh no you won't!

Both beys slammed into each other repeatedly causing them to be back again and again.

Kai: What can I do to win this?  We're equally matched.

Kai then looked at where the two beys were about to collide and made a plan.

Kai: Kitsune, dodge!

Kitsune went around Oilliphéist causing it to slam into the stadium wall.

Owen: Wait no!

Kai: Planet Dash!

Kitsune circled back to where Oilliphéist was and slammed into it causing Oilliphéist to be squished by both Kitsune and the stadium wall. Oilliphéist then went flying into the air from being squeezed by both objects and then bursted in the air due to the pressure being created from the struggle.

Owen: Oilliphéist no!

Kai: Let's go Kitsune!

Kai grabbed Kitsune from the stadium just to see no reaction from Kitsune when he made his statement.

Kai: Why do you never respond when I say "good job", "let's go", or when I talk to you in general.

Kai Then remembered him seeing Kitsune trapped behind a gate.

Kai: Were you trying to tell me to get you out from behind the gate so you could actually communicate with me? Is the gate what's separating us?

Owen: What are you talking about?

Kai: Oh, nothing.

Owen: Whatever, next time I'll beat you.

Kai: We'll see about that.

(During the battle with Kai against Owen on the other side of the room.)

???: You two ready?

Joe: Sure, I'm always ready.

Sebastian and Joe followed the unnamed boy to a stadium with another boy.

Boy at the stadium: So this is our opponents?

???: Yeah, it'll be good for our team chemistry.

Boy at the stadium: Whatever, just stay out of my way, donkey.

Sebastian: Donkey?

Vincent: Yeah he calls me that from time to time, by the way my name is Vincent.

Vincent stretched out his right hand for a shake. Vincent was a very athletic and buff kid with black hair that went in multiple directions. The hair in the front went upwards with multiple giant triangle shaped pieces of hair that pointed downward due to the weight of gravity while on the back of the head there were multiple smaller and thin triangle shaped spikes. The hair though stopped only a little beneath the ears in length. His blading outfit though consisted of a blue t-shirt under a orange sleeveless undershirt with a symbol of the school Vincent presumably gone to on the middle left of the undershirt and a giant version of the symbol on the back. Vincent as well wore orange pants, blue boots, and a blue long piece of cloth tied to his waste with two long pieces of it hanging downward to a little beneath the torso.

Joe: Oh, my name is Joe, nice to meet you.

Joe extended his right hand and shaked Vincent's right hand.

Vincent: What about you friend?

Vincent moved his hand and body and turned to Sebastian who had his arms crossed and his head turned to his left side.

Sebastian: Names Sebastian.

Sebastian though didn't shake Vincent's hand which caused Vincent to feel a little awkward and put his arm down.

Vincent: You know Sebastian, you remind me of my friend here, his name is Gabriel.

Joe: Nice to meet you Gabriel.

Gabriel just looked at Joe and then looked back down, saying nothing in return. Gabriel had short black hair that didn't go past his neck with the hair on the front only going down to his eyebrow's level on the sides while the hair in the middle went down to his eye's level. He also had blue eyes and his blading outfit consisted of a black long sleeve shirt with blue stripes under blue jersey from what seemed to be his past school, black compression pants with blue stripes under blue shorts which as well seemed to come from his past school, and pure white sneakers.

Vincent: Well this is my bey, Cannon Vanara Rise 1B.

The Cannon ring was a orange right spinning ring which was pretty round but had three blue plastic blades that could be released. The Vanara chip was a orange right spinning chip which had the avatar of Vanara in the center which was a monkey with silver hair, wearing orange robes, with blue eyes, a yellow necklace, and a golden staff. While the Rise driver was just an orange Rise driver and the 1B chassis was blue with many jagged edges and was a version two chassis, that being it was a chassis fused with a disc. This as a whole made Cannon Vanara a right spinning stamina type.

Joe: Nice, my bey is Jynx Joker Gamble Trans 1D.

Vincent: What about you Sebastian?

Sebastian: My bey is Hero Susanoo Destroy 3D.

Joe: What about you Gabriel?

Gabriel: My bey is Robust Golem Destroy 2S.

The Robust ring was a black left spinning ring which was more rounder then most rings as it was a defensive ring with the gimmick being that the ring starts with four small blue blades sticking out of it which boosts it's attack power till the bey keeps coming more closer to bursting where the blades will move more inward with each click from the bey. The Golem chip was a blue left spinning chip which had a black golem on it with had many edges due to it being a creature made of rock and had a humanoid face with two blue eyes. The Destroy driver was a normal black Destroy driver and the 2S chassis was a version two chassis like 1B with the color being blue as well but the 2S chassis was shaped to not be circular at all and have three big points on the chassis with two on the bottom left and bottom right of the chassis while the last one was on the top middle of the chassis. This as a whole made Robust Golem a left spinning balance type.

Vincent: Okay let's do this.

Both teams went to their respective sides of the stadium and got their launchers ready.

All four bladers: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

All four beys were launched into the stadium at high speeds. Due to Joker's Trans driver being in attack mode, Joker spun around the edges of the stadium with Susanoo and Golem while Vanara took its place in the center of the stadium.

Sebastian: Let's go Susanoo, tear Vanara to pieces!

Susanoo spun at high velocity to Vanara slamming into Vanara causing it to move out of the center of the stadium.

Gabriel: Go get Joker Golem!

Golem started to speed up and hit Joker which caused Joker to bounce a little back.

Vincent: Do you think that attacks going to do anything? Now, Vanara's Force!

Vanara's wings from the Cannon ring extended out which caused Vanara to use its high speeds and the wings to create an upward force of wind and create a tornado above Vanara.

Sebastian: You think that move is going to do anything?! Hero Upper!

Susanoo spun and slammed into Vanara just to be sent back due to the shield of wind created by the tornado.

Joe: Let me help you Sebastian, Jynx Smash!

Golem made contact with the hard rubber part on the Jynx ring which allowed Joker to pour its energy into that attack point and send Golem flying.

Gabriel: Oh no you don't! Robust Counter!

Golem landed onto the stadium and got back on balance by using the Destroy driver and then charged at Joker and Susanoo at high speeds.

Joe: Let's end this quick before Gabriel comes here.

Sebastian: Okay, let's do this.

Joe: Jynx Smash!

Sebastian: Hero Upper!

Joe and Sebastian said this at the same time which the combined damage from the attacks allowed the two beys to push the tornado back.

Vincent: Oh no you don't!

Vincent's flare appeared which was a pure red aura which also caused his skin and clothes to turn red. This allowed the tornado's wind to push back and go back to how it was normally before the combined attack.

Sebastian: You really think that's going to work?!

Both Sebastian and Joe entered their flare states which allowed Susanoo and Joker to push the wind back again.

Gabriel: Seems you forgot about me.

Gabriel's flare then appeared which caused him to be surrounded by a dark blue aura and his eyes glowing dark blue.

Golem slammed into Joker though this didn't do anything but help Joker as Golem spun the opposite direction that Joker spun which allowed Joker to absorb the energy from Golem and make it it's own power and allow Joker and Susanoo to break through the tornado and send Vanara flying.

Vincent: No, Vanara!

Gabriel: Oh, so that's what you're doing.

Golem then spun away from the clash with Joker and spun towards where Vanara was.

Vincent: So what's the game plan?

Gabriel: The game plan is that you need to stay out of my way. Got it?!

Vincent: What?! You can't possibly win a two verses one, especially with them in their flare states.

Gabriel turned his head away from Vincent and looked at Sebastian and Joe.

Gabriel: No, I'll be good.

Golem then dashed at Susanoo, causing Susanoo to be sent flying.

Joe: Jynx Smash!

Joker dashed at Golem with Joker's energy being channeled to the hard rubber contact point on the Jynx ring.

Gabriel: Robust Counter!

Golem spun around Joker using the Destroy driver's free spinning ring so that Golem could slam into Joker with a devastating attack, just for Gabriel to realize Golem would slam into Joker's soft rubber attack point which would cause Golem's attack to just be absorbed.

Gabriel: Golem no.

Golem stopped its attempted attack and just spun away from the confrontation using the ring on Destroy. Golem then spun around Joker and slammed into Susanoo.

Sebastian: So you're changing your opponent huh? Let's see what you can do.

Both beys clashed in the middle of the stadium with both beys being sent back.

Vincent: Looks like your gameplay isn't doing too good.

Gabriel: Shut up. You have a plan?

Vincent: Yeah I do.

Vincent whispered to Gabriel with his left hand covering his mouth and Gabriel's left ear.

Gabriel: Fine, let's try it.

Vincent: Okay then, Vanara's Force!

Vanara created another tornado on the top of itself while Golem dashed at Susanoo.

Sebastian: Now this will be an easy win, Hero Upper!

Golem and Susanoo make contact in the stadium with the result of Golem being sent flying backward while in the air. This caused Golem to get sucked into Vanara's tornado and start rising higher in the air.

Gabriel: Now! Robust Counter!

Golem then started to spin faster by using Vanara's tornado and then flew off the tornado to do a diving attack on Susanoo.

Sebastian: You think that's going to do something?! Hero Upper!

Both beys make contact with Golem the top of Susanoo but due to Susanoo doing an upper attack Golem was sent flying back into the air.

Gabriel: What?!

Sebastian: Joe, now!

Joe: On it! Jynx Smash!

When Golem dived back down a second time it made contact with Joker's hard rubber contact point on Jynx and was sent flying into the stadium wall, bursting on contact with the wall.

Gabriel: Golem no!

Sebastian: Now for you.

Both Sebastian and Joe stared at Vincent who was still in his flare state like Sebastian and Joe.

Sebastian: Same plan from last time. Hero Upper!

Joe: Got it. Jynx Smash!

Both beys slammed into Vanara and finally broke through the tornado's defenses and caused Vanara to be sent flying and burst by hitting the stadium wall, exactly like Golem.

Vincent: Vanara no!

Joe: Good work Sebastian! We won!

Sebastian didn't say anything and instead grabbed Susanoo from the stadium with his left hand.

Vincent: Good game guys, that was fun!

Joe: Yeah! We should battle again next time!

Gabriel started walking away from the stadium with his hands in his pockets.

Gabriel: This was the first and the last time I listen to any of your plans again Vincent. I will never lose again.

Vincent: Oh it's not like this was a real battle that affected your chances with the scouts, it was just a fun battle. And it's not like you had a better plan anyway.

Vincent chased after Gabriel, leaving the stadium with only Joe and Sebastian there. Joe and Sebastian then left the stadium and met back with Kai.

Joe: How did you do Kai?

Kai: Oh I did great! I didn't need my flare or anything and I won three to zero!

Joe: Good job. Me and Sebastian won our two verses two battle two to zero.

Kai: Good job Joe, I bet you carried Sebastian to that win.

Sebastian turned and glared at Kai.

Joe: No, it was actually Sebastian's plan that allowed us to win.

Kai: I highly doubt that.

Sebastian: Shut up Kai! Do I need to crush you again?!

Kai: Crush who?! I'll easily beat you!

Sebastian: With what flare?!

Kai: I don't need a flare to beat people, unlike you!

Joe: Hey, calm down you two. Let's go do something else to pass the time. We have that exhibition match tomorrow so we should prepare.

Kai: Fine, let's go the gym so I can put Sebastian here in his place!

Sebastian: We'll see about that.

The three bladers left the battling room and went to their teams gym to find that Tyler was still there.

Tyler: Oh hey, I didn't expect you three to be here. Most kids just come to their required practice and then just never come back again.

Joe: Well it's not really for practice, more for Kai and Sebastian to battle again.

Tyler looked behind Joe to see Kai and Sebastian glaring at each other.

Tyler: Alright then, the stadium is here so get to battling. I'll be in the corner as usual reading Naruto.

Kai and Sebastian went to their sides of the stadium and got their beys ready.

Both: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high speeds with both moving around the edge of the stadium.

Sebastian: Susanoo, go crush Kitsune!

Kai: Kitsune, go crush Susanoo!

Both beys slam into each other in the middle of the stadium causing both to be sent backward.

Kai: Now, Planet Drive!

Kitsune slammed into Susanoo again and started attacking Susanoo in a flower like pattern.

Sebastian: Not on my watch! Hero Upper!

Susanoo then sent Kitsune flying in the air.

Sebastian: Since you think you can win this battle without your flare, let's see you try.

Sebastian's flare appeared which resulted in his eyes turning red and an orange and red aura surrounding him.

Kai: Even in your flare state I can still beat you!

Kitsune dived from the air and slammed into Susanoo causing Susanoo to be sent upward. While Kitsune started moving around, stuck on its side while Susanoo dived down and slammed onto the stadium floor. This caused Susanoo to outlast Kitsune as it was moving around on its side for less time.

Tyler: That's a spin finish for Susanoo, Sebastian is up by one point.

Sebastian: What was that about beating me without a flare?

Kai: The battle isn't over yet Sebastian!

Both bladers got their beys ready on their launchers.

Both: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high velocity with both beys circling around the edge of the stadium.

Sebastian: Hero Upper!

Susanoo charged at Kitsune.

Kai: Planet Dash!

Instead of making contact Kitsune maneuvered around Susanoo and then slammed into its right side. Susanoo was pushed back from this attack with Kitsune then following up that attack with many barrage attacks in a flower pattern.

Sebastian: If you think that's going to do something, you have another thing coming!

Sebastian's flare then appeared again with the energy released from the activation of Sebastian's flare sending Kitsune back.

Sebastian: Now! Hero Upper!

Kai: Planet Dash!

Both beys clash in the center of the stadium with a giant explosion coming from the clash with both bladers covering their eyes with their arms. After the stadium's environment calmed down the bladers moved their arms away from their eyes to see Susanoo barely spinning while Kitsune was seperated from it's disc and driver due to bursting from Susanoo's attack.

Tyler: That's a burst finish for Susanoo, Sebastian wins with a score of three to zero.

Kai Grabbed Kitsune from the stadium and put it back together.

Sebastian: Yeah, you definitely didn't need a flare to beat me.

Sebastian said this while smirking.

Kai: Shut up Sebastian! Once I awaken my flare I'll definitely beat you!

Sebastian: Yeah whatever, see you loser.

Sebastian left the gym to go to his room in the dorm with Joe walking behind him.

Joe: It's getting late so I'm going to head to bed, see you'll later.

Tyler:  Weird, do you kids just not eat dinner anymore?

Kai: I don't know about them, but I certainly do.

Tyler: Alright, let's go get something to eat and then you can get a shower and go to bed so you can rest up for the exhibition match.

Kai: Sure!

Both Tyler and Kai left the gym and went to the cafeteria where Kai got some soup while Tyler got some fish. The two of them then left the cafeteria and sat together in the gym.

Tyler: So how was your first day here?

Kai: Good, this place is gigantic and has a bunch of bladers that I can challenge, plus free food.

After Kai said this he grabbed his fork and slurped up a bunch of noodles from the soup.

Tyler: Good, do you miss your parents already? I know many kids are already feeling home sickness.

Kai heard this and then looked down with no response.

Tyler: Wait why are you, oh, I'm sorry.

Kai: It's okay, I never really got to know my mom and dad. The two of them passed away when I was a small child. Though due to that event I got to learn many things that kids my age usually don't know how to use, like an oven or a microwave.

Tyler: You know, I never knew got to know my mom. My mother passed away the day I was born while my dad passed when I was around your age. So I kinda know what you're going through, though I learned how to cook from living by myself and not just how to use a microwave or oven.

Kai: You can cook?!

Tyler: Yeah, I usually make sea food but I can make some other things.

Kai looked at Tyler and smiled and slurped up some more noodles. Kai then realized that Kitsune left his pocket and was laying there on the ground which caused Kai to think of a question for Tyler.

Kai: Hey Tyler.

Tyler: Yeah?

Kai: I had this dream when I took my nap. I was in this yellow room with yellow water on the ground and when I was in this room I saw a blocked off area that was blocked off from a locked gate. Behind the gate there was a giant fox that looked like the fox on Kitsune, but when I got close to the gate the fox just opened it's eyes and looked at me and then scream "let me out." Do you have any idea of what that means?

Tyler put his plate of fish down and then thought for a moment.

Tyler: Interesting, maybe the gate is why you can't activate your flare. And the giant fox you saw might've been Kitsune and he was trying to exit that room that was sealed off from you. Though I don't know why the gate would be there. No one else has reported a gate when they first make contact with their bey's spirit but you. Maybe it's a mental block that's keeping you from using your full power. I'll report this to the higher ups to see if they know anything and they might be able to fix the problem.

Kai: Oh okay, thank you.

Both of them finished their food and Kai waved Tyler goodbye and left the gym to his, Sebastian, and Joe's dorm. Kai then took a shower and changed into his sleeping clothes. Those being just a grey t-shirt and light blue pants. Kai then put Kitsune on his desk and leaped into his bead.

Kai: Maybe if I go to that room again where Kitsune is and find a way to open the gate, I can finally awaken my flare!

Kai then closed his eyes in hopes of going back to that realm in his mind and then drifted off to sleep.

The school is inspired by My Hero Academia with some implements from Beyblade Burst God/Evolution that you'll see later, Kai is inspired by Naruto, Sebastian is inspired by Sasuke, Tyler is inspired by Kakashi, Elijah is inspired by Obito, Mr. Winbush is a original character, Vincent is based off Goku from Dragon Ball, and Gabriel is based off Isagi from Bluelock.

Beyblade Burst Planet: Chapter #4 "Team 7 vs Team 9"

Kai woke up in the same room as he was the last time he slept, laying in the water motionless. Kai then stood up and walked to the gate where the giant fox was in his last encounter with this realm and put his right hand on the gate while looking in through the holes of the fencing. As before the giant fox was still behind the gate in the secluded area.

Kai: Hey giant fox. It's me again.

The giant fox opened its eyes once more and turned its head to the left to look at Kai eye to eye.

Kai: Are you Kitsune?

Kitsune: Yes, that is me. What of it?

The voice of Kitsune was very deep and intimidating, this caused Kai to move his left foot back and release his grip of the gate's fencing.

Kai: Woah, you got a deep voice.

Kitsune: Yes, and?

Kai: Hey, I was just trying to strike up a conversation.

Kitsune: I don't care about your conversation topics. All I care about is leaving this prison I am stuck in and being let free.

Kai: Well I could help, but I don't know how to break this lock.

Kitsune: Who said I was talking about just the gate? You're lucky your school created this gate or I would've already gained my freedom from this prison made of plastic and metal.

Kai: What are you talking about?

Kitsune: Whatever, like you humans would understand. Go back to outside world, I have no need for you.

Kai: Wait you didn't answer my question!

Kai said this while extending his right arm through one of the fencing holes just for him to wake up in a startle with his right arm in the air at the same position it was in his dream.

Kai: A prison of plastic and metal? What does he mean by that?

Kai looked at the desk in his room to see Kitsune was glowing orange like it did the last time he entered that dream state just for the glow to disappear like before.

Kai: Whatever, I'll ask Tyler about what Kitsune is talking about.

Kai changed from his sleeping clothes to his blading outfit which consisted of the usual orange zipped up long sleeved jacket, black pants with a black belt, white sneakers, white cape with red flames on the bottom, and a mostly red hat with white at the front where his face was located at. Kai then left his room to find Joe and Sebastian already left for the cafeteria with Joe leaving a note.

Kai: Of coarse they couldn't wait for me!

Kai then sprinted to the cafeteria to see Sebastian and Joe sitting at a table with no one else there. Kai then ran to the breakfast line and got some scrambled eggs and two strips of bacon. He then sat down at the table with Sebastian rolling his eyes while stuffing his face with a waffle while Joe smiled at Kai's appearance.

Joe: You're a long sleeper huh.

Kai: Yeah, gotta have my sleep for our exhibition match today.

Kai said this while having both his arms behind his head with his hands making contact with the back of his head.

Joe: So are you ready for our match?!

Kai: You know it! I'm ready to crush that other team!

Kai said this with his mouth full of egg. Joe smiled awkwardly to Kai's muffled voice and just assumed Kai said he was excited based off some of the sounds he was able to make out.

Joe: Same here! What about you Sebastian?

Sebastian had his arms crossed and his eyes pointed in another direction away from the group.

Sebastian: It's whatever, I'll crush whoever I go up against.

After saying this Sebastian grabbed another waffle and bit another piece off of it. Tyler then entered the cafeteria and walked to their table with his hands in his pockets.

Tyler: Hey guys, you ready for our match?

Kai: You know it!

Kai said while jumping out of his seat.

Tyler: That's good. Because if I lose this match because two of you lost I will never hear the end of it.

Joe: Who is their teacher anyway?

Joe said while biting off a piece of a sausage biscuit.

Tyler: This guy named Barrett.

Tyler said in a disgusted tone.

Joe: Oh is he your friend or something?

Tyler: No, he thinks he's my rival or something and keeps trying to compete with me in different things. The entire reason we're having this exhibition match is because he wanted to prove he was a better teacher or something. Well whatever, finish up, after you're done our exhibition match begins.

Kai: Wait what?!

Tyler: Yeah, he wants to do the match first thing because team practices happen in the afternoon and he wants the entire school to watch our exhibition match as a example for what they're going to see for the tournament.

After the bladers finished their food they walked to the main gymnasium where they were on the first day waiting for their team number to be announced. When they entered Tyler walked them to the top left corner of the gymnasium, away from all the other bladers who were sitting on the bleachers.

Tyler: Okay, so our line up is going to be Kai first, Sebastian second, and Joe third.

Sebastian: Wait what?! Why is Kai first?!

Tyler: It's because if Kai loses I can entrust Joe to clutch up the win.

Kai: What?! I'll definitely win my match!

Tyler: I never said you wouldn't, I said that if you lose Joe can clutch the win.

???: Nice to see you again Tyler, you ready for the match?

Tyler looked behind him in a disgruntled attitude to see who was behind him.

Tyler: Yeah Barrett, I'm ready.

Team 7 looked behind Tyler to see what Barrett looked like. Barrett had a black bowl cut, giant black eye brows, and black eyes like Sebastian. He was wearing a dark green turtle neck sweater, a light green sleeveless jacket that was unzipped, a red belt with dark green pants, and dark blue sneakers with orange socks. Barrett then looked down to see Tyler's team and grinned.

Barrett: Oh hey guys! The names Barrett! I'm friends with your teacher Tyler! I hope you guys are prepared because my team is pretty strong!

Barrett held his fist out and fist bumped Joe and Kai with Sebastian not fist bumping him and instead keeping his arms in his pockets and watching the workers set up the stadium for the team matches.

Tyler: Well it's nice to see you again, but you should go prepare with your team right?

Tyler said while having his arms close to his chest and holding his hands up and waving them in an embarrassed no movement.

Barrett: Oh yeah you're right! You really are a good teacher Tyler! Well I wish you all good luck and to have a good time, bye!

Barrett said this while running to his team with a big grin and waving goodbye.

Tyler: To think a grown man could act that childish.

Tyler said while wiping the sweat off his forehead with his right arm and looking down at the grown with his back slouched down.

Joe: I don't see the problem, he seems nice.

Kai: Yeah, maybe you should open up to him Tyler.

Tyler: No, as an adult you don't act like that, you'll learn that when you get older. That man is just so awkward to deal with.

Mr. Winbush: Hello bladers!

Team 7 looked at the middle of the gym to see Mr. Winbush with a microphone.

Mr. Winbush: So how was your first day guys?!

Mr. Winbush looked into the crowd to see most of the crowd was silent with only maybe a third of the people actually responding.

Mr. Winbush: Well that's good, today team seven and team nine have decided to give us a exhibition match to see what the team tournament is going to look like since your teacher told you yesterday about the tournament. So now, let the battles begin!

When Mr. Winbush said this smoke rose from the smoke machines with a screen hanged up high at the back of the gym turning on with the screen showing the images of Kai on the left with his bey and what type Kitsune below his face and then the word "VS" in the middle and on the right was Owen with her bey below her face and what type Oilliphéist was being shown.

Mr Winbush: Now for the first battle! Kai Ulrich verses Owen O'Brien!

Both Kai and Owen walked from their sides of the gym to the stadium while staring each other down.

Owen: I didn't think we would have a rematch this soon. It's time for me to get payback for the loss I had yesterday.

Kai: Whatever you say, I'm going to crush you just like yesterday.

Both bladers said this while getting their beys ready on their launchers.

Tyler: Now to see if my plan works, will Kai finally awaken his flare?

Tyler thought while watching the bladers getting prepared intently. A referee then walked into the gym and stood in between Kai and Owen at the middle side of the stadium opposite to the bleachers. The ref then moved his right arm down with his right hand being held in the standard flat position that all refs have their hand in before a battle.

Ref: The rules for this battle is the first to two points. Bursts are two points while spin finishes and ring out finishes are one point. Now, begin.

After the ref said begin he raised his arm up high in the air which resulted in Kai and Owen opening their mouths.

Kai and Owen: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at light speeds with both beys moving at the outer edge of the stadium with Kitsune moving counterclockwise around the stadium due to it spinning clockwise while Oilliphéist moved clockwise around the stadium due to it spinning counterclockwise.

Owen: Oilliphéist go get Kitsune!

Kai: Kitsune go attack!

Both bladers said this while moving their dominate arm in the air with their hand open and swinging it to the side their arm was on. Kitsune and Oilliphéist then moved to the center of the stadium where they clashed with Oilliphéist being sent back by Kitsune's power.

Owen: Well it's time to get even, Oilliphéist!

Owen's flare then appeared which then resulted in Oilliphéist getting an amp to its power, allowing it to match Kitsune's. Both beys then clashed again but due to their powers being relative, both beys were sent back due to each other's power.

Owen: Alright let's do this Oilliphéist! Lentic Upper!

Kai: That's not going to work on me! Planet Dash!

Both beys ran at each other at high speeds but Kitsune then moved out of the way to dodge Oilliphéist's attack and then started attacking Oilliphéist in a flower like pattern.

Owen: Not on my watch! Oilliphéist!

Oilliphéist then dodged Kitsune and slammed into it causing Kitsune to stop doing its attacks in a flower pattern. Both beys then clashed again with both beys again being sent back due to each other's power.

Kai: What am I going to do?

Kai thought intensely with his right arm being held up and with his hand clenched as a fist.

Kai: We're both equal in power and since I don't have a flare I can't power up.

Tyler: Good he's in a corner.

Tyler thought with a smile on his face.

Tyler: The only way for Kai to get out of this corner is for him to awaken his flare.

Tyler then gave a look of confusion after seeing Kai give a smile.

Kai: I know what to do now!

Kai blurted this out loud.

Owen: What?! He has a plan?!

Owen thought this with pure confusion.

Kai: Now Kitsune!

Kitsune charged at Oilliphéist in a usual flower pattern.

Owen: Do you really thing Planet Dash is going to work on me?!

Owen then gave a shock of confusion after seeing that Kitsune didn't attack at the usual time it did when using Planet Dash and instead attacked a second after when it would usually attack. Then again when Owen prepared Oilliphéist to tank the next attack Kitsune would attack a second later, catching Owen off guard.

Owen: Oh so he just changed his timing, that's fine. All be ready for the next attack.

Though unlike what Kitsune was doing originally it changed back to the original timed attacks that it would use if it was preforming Planet Dash.

Owen: What?! It changed timing again?!

Kitsune was changing the timing of its attack after every single attack, causing Owen to not be able to predict when Kitsune was going to attack meaning every single attack on Oilliphéist was when Owen was off guard which allowed Kitsune to cause more damage.

Kai: Now to end this Kitsune!

Kai said this while throwing his arm into the air with his hands clenched into a fist making a punching motion. Kitsune then moved to the edge of the stadium and started spinning around gaining momentum and power till it eventually charged at Oilliphéist.

Owen: That's not going to work on Oilliphéist!

Kitsune then moved away from where Oilliphéist was positioned and used the Hold' driver to slam into Oilliphéist from behind, releasing all of its power into that attack which caused Oilliphéist to burst on impact.

Ref: That's a burst finish for Planet Kitsune! The winner is Kai Ulrich with a score of two to zero!

The bladers on the bleachers cheered with amazement from that strategy Kai unleashed to best Owen. Tyler then smirked a bit from the results of the match.

Tyler: I was hoping that Kai would unlock his flare but I guess he just doesn't need it right now. His blading intelligence alone is very high for his age and experience, even though his normal intelligence is pretty low.

Tyler said this in his head while waving to Kai who was waving to them with both arms extended and hands open while running towards them. On the other side Owen walked to her team's side in a sad tone due to losing the battle.

Barrett: Hey it's okay Owen, cheer up! You'll catch up to him eventually!

Barrett then smiled at Kai while watching him run to the other team members.

Barrett: You know Tyler, you have a very special blader on your hands. I hope you can get to the potential I think we all saw today from this battle.

Barrett then turned to look at his team.

Barrett: Alright Akihiro, you're next.

Akihiro started walking away from team 9 with a smirk and with his hands in his pockets.

Akihiro: Got it teach.

Akihiro had slicked back black hair with black eyes and was wearing a black leather jacket stylized to look more punk like, black sweatpants, a white t-shirt with a black grenade held by a skeleton's hand, and black hightops. He also had eye liner and make up on his face to darken around his eyes and many tattoos. Most of the tattoos were running up his arms and his covering his upper back and chest but the only ones that could be seen were the ones on his hands with right hand being a skeleton hand and the left reading "SAINT" along each finger. Though the rest of the hand had crosses covered with vines and a knife running through the crosses with a gem in the middle.

Mr. Winbush: Now for the next battle! Sebastian Underwood verses Akihiro Takeba!

The screen in the gym looked the same as before with Kai and Owen but instead of Kai and Owen on the screen it had the faces of Sebastian and Akihiro and their beys. Both bladers walked to the stadium, eyeing each other up.

Kai: To think you called Sebastian a emo when that kid exists in this school.

Kai said this while having both his fists up to his chest with his arms close to his chest as well.

Joe: No Akihiro just looks to be a dude into rock, Sebastian just doesn't like to interact with anyone and gets all worked up when he has to with his attitude. Sebastian is probably the biggest emo in the school.

Joe said while waving his hand in the air while speaking.

Akihiro: So this is the kid they're all worked up about. Let's see if he even has half the skill needed to join us.

Akihiro thought this in his head while both him and Sebastian go their beys ready.

Ref: Bladers, set!

Sebastian and Akihiro: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high speeds.

Akihiro: Let's see what you can do against Champion Amaterasu.

Champion Amaterasu was a right spinning attack type. The Champion ring was mostly black and contained three large plastic blades with purple hard rubber on the edge of each blade and in between the gaps of each blade on the ring. With this on the ring there were multiple red fire stickers on the ring. The chip though seemed to be fused with the ring making it one big layer with there just being black metal in the location of where the chip would be. Amaterasu also had a double chassis, that being 2A . 2A was a double chassis which had three big blades that matched up with the blades on Champion giving Amaterasu extra attack power as the blades would line up boosting the attack power of the ring. Though this 2A had the rubber on the double chassis be purple and the metal on it be red. The driver was called Pace' which had the ability to change its height from low to high mode and had a rubber driver shaped of that of a star which the driver was black while the rubber was red.

Akihiro: Let's see what this kid can do against Amaterasu in low mode.

Akihiro thought with a smirk on his face while both beys circled around the stadium in opposite directions.

Sebastian: Let's end this quick Susanoo! Hero Upper!

Akihiro: You think that's going to work? Champion Slash!

Both beys slammed into each other at high speeds with them both clashing at relative strength. Eventually both beys moved away from each other and slammed into each again with attach, after attack, after attack.

Akihiro: Guess he's not half bad, but let's see if he can keep up with this.

Akihiro thought this while awakening his flare which caused a purple aura to form around him and his eyes to glow red.

Sebastian: You think you're the only one with a flare?!

Sebastian then awakened his flare which caused a red and orange aura to appear around him and his eyes to glow red. Both beys then slammed into each other again causing both beys to fall back from the other bey's might.

Akihiro: So he can match my power while suppressed, guess the old man was right about him being worth it.

Akihiro thought this while both beys then clashed again.

Sebastian: Hero Upper!

Akihiro: Champion Slash!

Both beys clashed again at the center of the stadium with sparks flying around the stadium. The two beys then again got pushed back from each and then repeatedly started slamming into each other with each attack causing them to push the other back.

Akihiro: So he truly is at the same level as a suppressed version of me. And at this age he has some great potential so he can definitely be useful for us.

Akihiro thought while smiling from watching the sparks fly from their beys colliding while Sebastian was just getting more and more furious from not being able to overpower Amaterasu.

Tyler: Looks like Sebastian met his match, now what will he do now?

Tyler thought with a smirk on his face.

Sebastian: If I can't overpower him, then I'll have to outsmart him like Kai did.

Sebastian then started to use the same move Kai did on Owen just for it to be punished and for Susanoo to be sent flying out of the stadium.

Ref: That's a ring out finish for Amaterasu! Akihiro is currently winning by one point!

The crowd cheered from the bleachers from the battles result. Sebastian then grabbed his bey with his left hand while glaring at Akihiro.

Akihiro: Did you really think you could use the same move your teammate used on Owen and think it would work one me? If you haven't noticed, I'm not as dumb as her.

Owen: Hey I heard that!

Owen said this while shaking his right fist in the air out of anger with Barrett holding her back.

Sebastian: Whatever, you got lucky.

Ref: Bladers ready, and set!

Sebastian and Akihiro: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high speeds with both beys making contact the first chance they had.

Akihiro: Well let's get back to where we were.

Akihiro said this while activating his flare.

Sebastian: Alright then.

Sebastian said this while activating his flare.

Akihiro: Champion Slash!

Sebastian: Hero Upper!

Both beys clashed again with sparks flying like before.

???: You've gained enough data. You can lose the match now.

Akihiro looked to his left side in shock to hear a voice come from his left AirPod.

Akihiro: You want me to lose now?

Akihiro whispered in a way no one could hear him.

???: Yes, no more data is needed. Sebastian has a very high ceiling for his power, he would be perfect for The Husk. Especially with his desire for power above all.

Akihiro: You want him in my squad?

Akihiro said in a confused tone.

???: Yes, you already know the level of power Sebastian is at currently. You would be good at teaching him things.

Akihiro: Yeah no I'm good.

???: When was I asking, you are doing it.

Akihiro: Fine.

Akihiro said in an annoyed tone.

Akihiro: But I want to continue this battle to analyze his skill with my own eyes.

???: Fine, whatever you say, teach.

The mysterious person then hung up the call and Akihiro's focus was back on the battle.

Sebastian: Hero Upper!

Due to Akihiro not focusing on the battle Susanoo was finally able to land a hit which caused Amaterasu to be sent flying into the air.

Akihiro: You finally landed a hit, let's see if you can finish the fight though.

Akihiro's eyes then showed an expression of shock when he saw Amaterasu bursted in the air from the impact with Susanoo.

Ref: That's a burst finish for Susanoo! Sebastian wins with a score of two to one.

The crowd cheered after seeing the result of the battle.

Tyler: Something was off about that battle.

Tyler said with his left arm leaning on the gym wall while his right was still positioned so his hand could be in his pocket.

Joe: Yeah, something was up about Akihiro, it seemed his attention just split to two different places which caused Amaterasu to become weaker.

Kai: Yeah also look at the two of them. Sebastian is sweating buckets while Akihiro looks perfectly fine.

Kai said while pointing at the two of them with his right hand. Sebastian then grabbed Susanoo and started walking towards his team with a smile on his face.

Sebastian: That was a tough, but I did it.

Sebastian thought while being clearly exhausted. On the other side of the gym Akihiro walked to his team with Barrett having his arms crossed and his face having a look of disappointment.

Barrett: Did you really have to hold back that match and lose focus? Guess that's just something I have to work on in the future with you. Anyway, let's hope Tyler doesn't rub this loss in my face.

Barrett then walked over to team 7 with his right hand extended and a smile on his face.

Barrett: Good job you guys, Kai and Sebastian did really well.

Barrett shared Kai's hand, then Joe's, and when he went to Sebastian he saw Sebastian laying on the ground using the wall as support for his back showing signs of clear exhaustion.

Barrett: You had a tuff battle with Akihiro huh?

Sebastian: Yeah, but I won.

Sebastian grabbed on Barrett's hand letting Barrett assist him getting back up.

Sebastian: I'm going to go rest, see ya'll later.

Sebastian slowly walked out of the gym very sluggishly.

Joe: It seems the only way to humble Sebastian and not make him all anti social is to tire him out.

Kai: Guess so.

Barrett: Well anyway.

Barrett said while smiling at Tyler.

Barrett: It seems you beat me in this challenge. But next challenge is going to be a one on one battle between me and you to hype of the kids before the team matches. So you better prepare.

Tyler: Oh, I definitely will.

Tyler said in a sarcastic tone.

Barrett: Well see ya'll anyway, bye.

Barrett said with a smile while waving his right arm to say bye.

Tyler: Well you guys go rest up, this exhibition match took longer than expected. Looks like it's twelve pm already.

Kai: Twelve?!

Tyler: Yeah, I didn't think those battles lasted for three hours but I guess the old saying is right. Time moves faster when you're having fun.

Both Kai and Joe left the gym and headed to their rooms with team 9 following behind them.

Owen: I swear, I'll beat you next time Kai!

Kai: We'll see about that.

While the three bladers wasn't looking Akihiro and the other blader on team 9 sneaked pass them with the other blader going to the dining area while Akihiro went to their dorm and went into his room and shut the door.

???: Talk about surrendering.

Akihiro: Oh shut up, if you didn't take my attention off the battle I wouldn't have lost!

???: Whatever, if you won or lost it wouldn't have mattered. We have the data and Sebastian is who we need for Project Nem Ee Sis.

Akihiro grabbed a laptop from his bag and opened it to see many data charts.

???: As you see here, Sebastian seems to grow in power after every battle. Someone with a potential like that is who we need. As we need a person whose power is always rising to counteract a power that's always rising.

Akihiro: You sure he won't just turn on us like Shu Kurenai did?

???: No, Shu Kurenai had too many memories with that boy Valt Aoi to allow him to cut off his attachments. Sebastian on the other hand has no attachments, no mother, no father, no brother, and no friends, all alone. He is the perfect candidate so we can complete our project.

Akihiro: And you're sure Sebastian will be able to handle the Snake Pit's training.

???: Yes, I am sure of it.

Akihiro: Alright, so what's me and the rest of the people on The Husk's job?

???: You need to make an attachment with Sebastian, and start slowly manipulating him to the Snake Pit's philosophy. And for that you must give him more power and once he gets a taste of that power, he'll become addicted.

Akihiro: So today should I go meet up with him.

???: No, that would be too obvious. Try to set up a bump in at random tomorrow. Or try to get the other members of The Husk to stop Joe and Kai from being with him so when he's alone in the dining area you just swoop in and talk to him.

Akihiro: Alright, well let's see if your plan works.

Akihiro closed his laptop shut and put it back in his bag.

Akihiro: Ashtem.

Ashtem: Yes, we will see.

I would like to hear you all's opinions on this chapter. This chapter may be shorter than the rest but it contains many big building blocks for the following chapters in the series so I hope that evens out for its length. I just didn't want to stretch out this chapter as I feel like it would just get boring and wouldn't get to the main points of the chapter. Beyblade Burst Planet Chapter #4 "Team 7 vs Team 9"

Kai woke up in the same room as he was the last time he slept, laying in the water motionless. Kai then stood up and walked to the gate where the giant fox was in his last encounter with this realm and put his right hand on the gate while looking in through the holes of the fencing. As before the giant fox was still behind the gate in the secluded area.

Kai: Hey giant fox. It's me again.

The giant fox opened its eyes once more and turned its head to the left to look at Kai eye to eye.

Kai: Are you Kitsune?

Kitsune: Yes, that is me. What of it?

The voice of Kitsune was very deep and intimidating, this caused Kai to move his left foot back and release his grip of the gate's fencing.

Kai: Woah, you got a deep voice.

Kitsune: Yes, and?

Kai: Hey, I was just trying to strike up a conversation.

Kitsune: I don't care about your conversation topics. All I care about is leaving this prison I am stuck in and being let free.

Kai: Well I could help, but I don't know how to break this lock.

Kitsune: Who said I was talking about just the gate? You're lucky your school created this gate or I would've already gained my freedom from this prison made of plastic and metal.

Kai: What are you talking about?

Kitsune: Whatever, like you humans would understand. Go back to outside world, I have no need for you.

Kai: Wait you didn't answer my question!

Kai said this while extending his right arm through one of the fencing holes just for him to wake up in a startle with his right arm in the air at the same position it was in his dream.

Kai: A prison of plastic and metal? What does he mean by that?

Kai looked at the desk in his room to see Kitsune was glowing orange like it did the last time he entered that dream state just for the glow to disappear like before.

Kai: Whatever, I'll ask Tyler about what Kitsune is talking about.

Kai changed from his sleeping clothes to his blading outfit which consisted of the usual orange zipped up long sleeved jacket, black pants with a black belt, white sneakers,  white cape with red flames on the bottom, and a mostly red hat with white at the front where his face was located at. Kai then left his room to find Joe and Sebastian already left for the cafeteria with Joe leaving a note.

Kai: Of coarse they couldn't wait for me!

Kai then sprinted to the cafeteria to see Sebastian and Joe sitting at a table with no one else there. Kai then ran to the breakfast line and got some scrambled eggs and two strips of bacon. He then sat down at the table with Sebastian rolling his eyes while stuffing his face with a waffle while Joe smiled at Kai's appearance.

Joe: You're a long sleeper huh.

Kai: Yeah, gotta have my sleep for our exhibition match today.

Kai said this while having both his arms behind his head with his hands making contact with the back of his head.

Joe: So are you ready for our match?!

Kai: You know it! I'm ready to crush that other team!

Kai said this with his mouth full of egg. Joe smiled awkwardly to Kai's muffled voice and just assumed Kai said he was excited based off some of the sounds he was able to make out.

Joe: Same here! What about you Sebastian?

Sebastian had his arms crossed and his eyes pointed in another direction away from the group.

Sebastian: It's whatever, I'll crush whoever I go up against.

After saying this Sebastian grabbed another waffle and bit another piece off of it. Tyler then entered the cafeteria and walked to their table with his hands in his pockets.

Tyler: Hey guys, you ready for our match?

Kai: You know it!

Kai said while jumping out of his seat.

Tyler: That's good. Because if I lose this match because two of you lost I will never hear the end of it.

Joe: Who is their teacher anyway?

Joe said while biting off a piece of a sausage biscuit.

Tyler: This guy named Barrett.

Tyler said in a disgusted tone.

Joe: Oh is he your friend or something?

Tyler: No, he thinks he's my rival or something and keeps trying to compete with me in different things. The entire reason we're having this exhibition match is because he wanted to prove he was a better teacher or something. Well whatever, finish up, after you're done our exhibition match begins.

Kai: Wait what?!

Tyler: Yeah, he wants to do the match first thing because team practices happen in the afternoon and he wants the entire school to watch our exhibition match as a example for what they're going to see for the tournament.

After the bladers finished their food they walked to the main gymnasium where they were on the first day waiting for their team number to be announced. When they entered Tyler walked them to the top left corner of the gymnasium, away from all the other bladers who were sitting on the bleachers.

Tyler: Okay, so our line up is going to be Kai first, Sebastian second, and Joe third.

Sebastian: Wait what?! Why is Kai first?!

Tyler: It's because if Kai loses I can entrust Joe to clutch up the win.

Kai: What?! I'll definitely win my match!

Tyler: I never said you wouldn't, I said that if you lose Joe can clutch the win.

???: Nice to see you again Tyler, you ready for the match?

Tyler looked behind him in a disgruntled attitude to see who was behind him.

Tyler: Yeah Barrett, I'm ready.

Team 7 looked behind Tyler to see what Barrett looked like. Barrett had a black bowl cut, giant black eye brows, and black eyes like Sebastian. He was wearing a dark green turtle neck sweater, a light green sleeveless jacket that was unzipped, a red belt with dark green pants, and dark blue sneakers with orange socks. Barrett then looked down to see Tyler's team and grinned.

Barrett: Oh hey guys! The names Barrett! I'm friends with your teacher Tyler! I hope you guys are prepared because my team is pretty strong!

Barrett held his fist out and fist bumped Joe and Kai with Sebastian not fist bumping him and instead keeping his arms in his pockets and watching the workers set up the stadium for the team matches.

Tyler: Well it's nice to see you again, but you should go prepare with your team right?

Tyler said while having his arms close to his chest and holding his hands up and waving them in an embarrassed no movement.

Barrett: Oh yeah you're right! You really are a good teacher Tyler! Well I wish you all good luck and to have a good time, bye!

Barrett said this while running to his team with a big grin and waving goodbye.

Tyler: To think a grown man could act that childish.

Tyler said while wiping the sweat off his forehead with his right arm and looking down at the grown with his back slouched down.

Joe: I don't see the problem, he seems nice.

Kai: Yeah, maybe you should open up to him Tyler.

Tyler: No, as an adult you don't act like that, you'll learn that when you get older. That man is just so awkward to deal with.

Mr. Winbush: Hello bladers!

Team 7 looked at the middle of the gym to see Mr. Winbush with a microphone.

Mr. Winbush: So how was your first day guys?!

Mr. Winbush looked into the crowd to see most of the crowd was silent with only maybe a third of the people actually responding.

Mr. Winbush: Well that's good, today team seven and team nine have decided to give us a exhibition match to see what the team tournament is going to look like since your teacher told you yesterday about the tournament. So now, let the battles begin!

When Mr. Winbush said this smoke rose from the smoke machines with a screen hanged up high at the back of the gym turning on with the screen showing the images of Kai on the left with his bey and what type Kitsune below his face and then the word "VS" in the middle and on the right was Owen with her bey below her face and what type Oilliphéist was being shown.

Mr Winbush: Now for the first battle! Kai Ulrich verses Owen O'Brien!

Both Kai and Owen walked from their sides of the gym to the stadium while staring each other down.

Owen: I didn't think we would have a rematch this soon. It's time for me to get payback for the loss I had yesterday.

Kai: Whatever you say, I'm going to crush you just like yesterday.

Both bladers said this while getting their beys ready on their launchers.

Tyler: Now to see if my plan works, will Kai finally awaken his flare?

Tyler thought while watching the bladers getting prepared intently. A referee then walked into the gym and stood in between Kai and Owen at the middle side of the stadium opposite to the bleachers. The ref then moved his right arm down with his right hand being held in the standard flat position that all refs have their hand in before a battle.

Ref: The rules for this battle is the first to two points. Bursts are two points while spin finishes and ring out finishes are one point. Now,  begin.

After the ref said begin he raised his arm up high in the air which resulted in Kai and Owen opening their mouths.

Kai and Owen: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at light speeds with both beys moving at the outer edge of the stadium with Kitsune moving counterclockwise around the stadium due to it spinning clockwise while Oilliphéist moved clockwise around the stadium due to it spinning counterclockwise.

Owen: Oilliphéist go get Kitsune!

Kai: Kitsune go attack!

Both bladers said this while moving their dominate arm in the air with their hand open and swinging it to the side their arm was on. Kitsune and Oilliphéist then moved to the center of the stadium where they clashed with Oilliphéist being sent back by Kitsune's power.

Owen: Well it's time to get even, Oilliphéist!

Owen's flare then appeared which then resulted in Oilliphéist getting an amp to its power, allowing it to match Kitsune's. Both beys then clashed again but due to their powers being relative, both beys were sent back due to each other's power.

Owen: Alright let's do this Oilliphéist! Lentic Upper!

Kai: That's not going to work on me! Planet Dash!

Both beys ran at each other at high speeds but Kitsune then moved out of the way to dodge Oilliphéist's attack and then started attacking Oilliphéist in a flower like pattern.

Owen: Not on my watch! Oilliphéist!

Oilliphéist then dodged Kitsune and slammed into it causing Kitsune to stop doing its attacks in a flower pattern. Both beys then clashed again with both beys again being sent back due to each other's power.

Kai: What am I going to do?

Kai thought intensely with his right arm being held up and with his hand clenched as a fist.

Kai: We're both equal in power and since I don't have a flare I can't power up.

Tyler: Good he's in a corner.

Tyler thought with a smile on his face.

Tyler: The only way for Kai to get out of this corner is for him to awaken his flare.

Tyler then gave a look of confusion after seeing Kai give a smile.

Kai: I know what to do now!

Kai blurted this out loud.

Owen: What?! He has a plan?!

Owen thought this with pure confusion.

Kai: Now Kitsune!

Kitsune charged at Oilliphéist in a usual flower pattern.

Owen: Do you really thing Planet Dash is going to work on me?!

Owen then gave a shock of confusion after seeing that Kitsune didn't attack at the usual time it did when using Planet Dash and instead attacked a second after when it would usually attack. Then again when Owen prepared Oilliphéist to tank the next attack Kitsune would attack a second later, catching Owen off guard.

Owen: Oh so he just changed his timing, that's fine. All be ready for the next attack.

Though unlike what Kitsune was doing originally it changed back to the original timed attacks that it would use if it was preforming Planet Dash.

Owen: What?! It changed timing again?!

Kitsune was changing the timing of its attack after every single attack, causing Owen to not be able to predict when Kitsune was going to attack meaning every single attack on Oilliphéist was when Owen was off guard which allowed Kitsune to cause more damage.

Kai: Now to end this Kitsune!

Kai said this while throwing his arm into the air with his hands clenched into a fist making a punching motion. Kitsune then moved to the edge of the stadium and started spinning around gaining momentum and power till it eventually charged at Oilliphéist.

Owen: That's not going to work on Oilliphéist!

Kitsune then moved away from where Oilliphéist was positioned and used the Hold' driver to slam into Oilliphéist from behind, releasing all of its power into that attack which caused Oilliphéist to burst on impact.

Ref: That's a burst finish for Planet Kitsune! The winner is Kai Ulrich with a score of two to zero!

The bladers on the bleachers cheered with amazement from that strategy Kai unleashed to best Owen. Tyler then smirked a bit from the results of the match.

Tyler: I was hoping that Kai would unlock his flare but I guess he just doesn't need it right now. His blading intelligence alone is very high for his age and experience, even though his normal intelligence is pretty low.

Tyler said this in his head while waving to Kai who was waving to them with both arms extended and hands open while running towards them. On the other side Owen walked to her team's side in a sad tone due to losing the battle.

Barrett: Hey it's okay Owen, cheer up! You'll catch up to him eventually!

Barrett then smiled at Kai while watching him run to the other team members.

Barrett: You know Tyler, you have a very special blader on your hands. I hope you can get to the potential I think we all saw today from this battle.

Barrett then turned to look at his team.

Barrett: Alright Akihiro, you're next.

Akihiro started walking away from team 9 with a smirk and with his hands in his pockets.

Akihiro: Got it teach.

Akihiro had slicked back black hair with black eyes and was wearing a black leather jacket stylized to look more punk like, black sweatpants, a white t-shirt with a black grenade held by a skeleton's hand, and black hightops. He also had eye liner and make up on his face to darken around his eyes and many tattoos. Most of the tattoos were running up his arms and his covering his upper back and chest but the only ones that could be seen were the ones on his hands with right hand being a skeleton hand and the left reading "SAINT" along each finger. Though the rest of the hand had crosses covered with vines and a knife running through the crosses with a gem in the middle.

Mr. Winbush: Now for the next battle! Sebastian Underwood verses Akihiro Takeba!

The screen in the gym looked the same as before with Kai and Owen but instead of Kai and Owen on the screen it had the faces of Sebastian and Akihiro and their beys. Both bladers walked to the stadium, eyeing each other up.

Kai: To think you called Sebastian a emo when that kid exists in this school.

Kai said this while having both his fists up to his chest with his arms close to his chest as well.

Joe: No Akihiro just looks to be a dude into rock, Sebastian just doesn't like to interact with anyone and gets all worked up when he has to with his attitude. Sebastian is probably the biggest emo in the school.

Joe said while waving his hand in the air while speaking.

Akihiro: So this is the kid they're all worked up about. Let's see if he even has half the skill needed to join us.

Akihiro thought this in his head while both him and Sebastian go their beys ready.

Ref: Bladers, set!

Sebastian and Akihiro: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high speeds.

Akihiro: Let's see what you can do against Champion Amaterasu.

Champion Amaterasu was a right spinning attack type. The Champion ring was mostly black and contained three large plastic blades with purple hard rubber on the edge of each blade and in between the gaps of each blade on the ring. With this on the ring there were multiple red fire stickers on the ring. The chip though seemed to be fused with the ring making it one big layer with there just being black metal in the location of where the chip would be. Amaterasu also had a double chassis, that being 2A . 2A was a double chassis which had three big blades that matched up with the blades on Champion giving Amaterasu extra attack power as the blades would line up boosting the attack power of the ring. Though this 2A had the rubber on the double chassis be purple and the metal on it be red. The driver was called Pace' which had the ability to change its height from low to high mode and had a rubber driver shaped of that of a star which the driver was black while the rubber was red.

Akihiro: Let's see what this kid can do against Amaterasu in low mode.

Akihiro thought with a smirk on his face while both beys circled around the stadium in opposite directions.

Sebastian: Let's end this quick Susanoo! Hero Upper!

Akihiro: You think that's going to work? Champion Slash!

Both beys slammed into each other at high speeds with them both clashing at relative strength. Eventually both beys moved away from each other and slammed into each again with attach, after attack, after attack.

???: Yes, no more data is needed. Sebastian has a very high ceiling for his power, he would be perfect for The Husk. Especially with his desire for power above all.

Akihiro: You want him in my squad?

Akihiro said in a confused tone.

???: Yes, you already know the level of power Sebastian is at currently. You would be good at teaching him things.

Akihiro: Yeah no I'm good.

???: When was I asking, you are doing it.

Akihiro: Fine.

Akihiro said in an annoyed tone.

Akihiro: But I want to continue this battle to analyze his skill with my own eyes.

???: Fine, whatever you say, teach.

The mysterious person then hung up the call and Akihiro's focus was back on the battle.

Sebastian: Hero Upper!

Due to Akihiro not focusing on the battle Susanoo was finally able to land a hit which caused Amaterasu to be sent flying into the air.

Akihiro: You finally landed a hit, let's see if you can finish the fight though.

Akihiro's eyes then showed an expression of shock when he saw Amaterasu bursted in the air from the impact with Susanoo.

Ref: That's a burst finish for Susanoo! Sebastian wins with a score of two to one.

The crowd cheered after seeing the result of the battle.

Tyler: Something was off about that battle.

Tyler said with his left arm leaning on the gym wall while his right was still positioned so his hand could be in his pocket.

Joe: Yeah, something was up about Akihiro, it seemed his attention just split to two different places which caused Amaterasu to become weaker.

Kai: Yeah also look at the two of them. Sebastian is sweating buckets while Akihiro looks perfectly fine.

Kai said while pointing at the two of them with his right hand. Sebastian then grabbed Susanoo and started walking towards his team with a smile on his face.

Sebastian: That was a tough, but I did it.

Sebastian thought while being clearly exhausted. On the other side of the gym Akihiro walked to his team with Barrett having his arms crossed and his face having a look of disappointment.

Barrett: Did you really have to hold back that match and lose focus? Guess that's just something I have to work on in the future with you. Anyway, let's hope Tyler doesn't rub this loss in my face.

Barrett then walked over to team 7 with his right hand extended and a smile on his face.

Barrett: Good job you guys, Kai and Sebastian did really well.

Barrett shared Kai's hand, then Joe's, and when he went to Sebastian he saw Sebastian laying on the ground using the wall as support for his back showing signs of clear exhaustion.

Barrett: You had a tuff battle with Akihiro huh?

Sebastian: Yeah, but I won.

Sebastian grabbed on Barrett's hand letting Barrett assist him getting back up.

Sebastian: I'm going to go rest, see ya'll later.

Sebastian slowly walked out of the gym very sluggishly.

Joe: It seems the only way to humble Sebastian and not make him all anti social is to tire him out.

Kai: Guess so.

Barrett: Well anyway.

Barrett said while smiling at Tyler.

Barrett: It seems you beat me in this challenge. But next challenge is going to be a one on one battle between me and you to hype of the kids before the team matches. So you better prepare.

Tyler: Oh, I definitely will.

Tyler said in a sarcastic tone.

Barrett: Well see ya'll anyway, bye.

Barrett said with a smile while waving his right arm to say bye.

Tyler: Well you guys go rest up, this exhibition match took longer than expected. Looks like it's twelve pm already.

Kai: Twelve?!

Tyler: Yeah, I didn't think those battles lasted for three hours but I guess the old saying is right. Time moves faster when you're having fun.

Both Kai and Joe left the gym and headed to their rooms with team 9 following behind them.

Owen: I swear, I'll beat you next time Kai!

Kai: We'll see about that.

While the three bladers wasn't looking Akihiro and the other blader on team 9 sneaked pass them with the other blader going to the dining area while Akihiro went to their dorm and went into his room and shut the door.

???: Talk about surrendering.

Akihiro: Oh shut up, if you didn't take my attention off the battle I wouldn't have lost!

???: Whatever, if you won or lost it wouldn't have mattered. We have the data and Sebastian is who we need for Project Nem Ee Sis.

Akihiro grabbed a laptop from his bag and opened it to see many data charts.

???: As you see here, Sebastian seems to grow in power after every battle. Someone with a potential like that is who we need. As we need a person whose power is always rising to counteract a power that's always rising.

Akihiro: You sure he won't just turn on us like Shu Kurenai did?

???: No, Shu Kurenai had too many memories with that boy Valt Aoi to allow him to cut off his attachments. Sebastian on the other hand has no attachments, no mother, no father, no brother, and no friends, all alone. He is the perfect candidate so we can complete our project.

Akihiro: And you're sure Sebastian will be able to handle the Snake Pit's training.

???: Yes, I am sure of it.

Akihiro: Alright, so what's me and the rest of the people on The Husk's job?

???: You need to make an attachment with Sebastian, and start slowly manipulating him to the Snake Pit's philosophy. And for that you must give him more power and once he gets a taste of that power, he'll become addicted.

Akihiro: So today should I go meet up with him.

???: No, that would be too obvious. Try to set up a bump in at random tomorrow. Or try to get the other members of The Husk to stop Joe and Kai from being with him so when he's alone in the dining area you just swoop in and talk to him.

Akihiro: Alright, well let's see if your plan works.

Akihiro closed his laptop shut and put it back in his bag.

Akihiro: Ashtem.

Ashtem: Yes, we will see.

I would like to hear you all's opinions on this chapter. This chapter may be shorter than the rest but it contains many big building blocks for the following chapters in the series so I hope that evens out for its length. I just didn't want to stretch out this chapter as I feel like it would just get boring and wouldn't get to the main points of the chapter. So anyway hope ya'll enjoy  the chapter and give me the critiques that I need so I can improve my writing. Also if my schedule goes to plan (and we all know that's a big if because of school) expect chapter #5 to come out this weekend and then it will be the usual chapter every week.

This is my favorite chapter so far and Akihiro trying to turn Sebastian evil… man things are getting interesting. A 9/10 for me

Beyblade Burst: Planet Chapter #5 "The Aftermath"

Akihiro: The plan commences tomorrow, got it?

???: Yeah I got it. I'll tell Samuel and we'll tell the others.

Akihiro: Alright be careful, I know that kid named Vincent always clings around his other team members.

???: It's fine, Gabriel should be enough for Vincent in the mean time.

Akihiro: Alright good.

???: Do you think trying to convert Gabriel and Vincent would be a bad idea? They both hunger for power, it would be easy to convert them by showing them the power The Snake Pit gives it's bladers. And it would be less suspicious trying to sneak Samuel away from them.

Akihiro: It's fine, just get him away from them and meet with the others. Husk one, out.

???: Got it, Husk two out.

Akihiro grabbed his left earbud with his left hand and put it back in his bag and left his room. Making sure the close was clear of any possible witnesses to his conversation with the rest of The Husk. Akihiro then grabbed the handle of the door with his right hand and left his team's dorm for practice.

Akihiro: Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to recruit Vincent and Gabriel. Though we would need one more blader as we all move in groups of two. And since it's clear Ashtem wants me to be with Sebastian, a normal member would have to be a lone wolf which isn't ideal for our secrecy within this school.

Akihiro thought this while walking past team 7's gym.

Kai: Go Kitsune! We don't need a flare to beat Joe!

Kai said this while making a punching motion in the air with his arm and fist while battling Joe. Kitsune then slammed into Joker as Kai said this which caused Joker to be sent out of the stadium.

Tyler: That's a ring out finish for Kitsune. Kai wins with a score of two to one.

Tyler said this while extending his right arm out to Kai's side and with his hand flat like all refs do when they say who won the battle.

Kai: Let's go!

Joe: Good job Kai. I'll beat you next time.

Kai: We'll see about that.

Tyler: It looks like Kai doesn't need a flare to beat bladers.

Tyler thought while smiling.

Tyler: Guess this kid really is unique. He'll be useful in our match tomorrow as most bladers will not be expecting someone who can match the power of a bey in it's resonance state while his bey is in it's base state.

Tyler then turned to look at the other stadium behind him where Sebastian was practicing on his own.

Tyler: Sebastian, it's your turn to battle.

Sebastian: Alright.

Sebastian said this with a slight smirk and grabbed Susanoo with his left hand from the stadium.

Sebastian: Joe you ready?

Sebastian said with the same smirk on his face while walking to the stadium.

Tyler: No, actually Kai will be your opponent.

Sebastian: What?

Sebastian said in a shocked tone.

Tyler: Yes, it looks like Kai is our second best blader on this team.

Kai: Second?!

Kai said in an angry and confused tone.

Tyler: Yes, you may have grown a lot in power from that match, but you are still no match against Sebastian.

Kai: Oh I beg to differ.

Kai said in an angry tone while readying his launcher.

Sebastian: Let's see what you can do, loser.

Sebastian said while readying his launcher.

Both: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high velocity with both beys circling around the edges of the stadium.

Kai: Go Kitsune! Planet Dash!

Kai said this while throwing his arm and clenched fist in the air like a punch.

Sebastian: Hero Upper!

Sebastian said this while throwing his left arm and clenched first upward in a linear direction.

Both beys clashed at the center of the stadium with Kitsune being sent upward.

Kai: No Kitsune!

Kai said in a worried tone.

Tyler: Looks like Tyler has grown. Before he would have to use his flare to be able to pull off that but now he can overpower Kai without his flare. That match against Akihiro really allowed him to grow in power.

Tyler thought with his right hand holding his chin with his thumb extended upward where his mouth would be while his index finger wrapped around his chin.

Sebastian: Now end this Susanoo!

Kai: Not on my watch!

Both beys clash in the center of the stadium with Kitsune attacking from the top of the Hero Susanoo layer while Susanoo attacked from below Kitsune with its upper attacks.

Sebastian: I'm ending this, now!

Sebastian said while waving his extended left arm and open hand with his flare appearing. With this power Susanoo sent Kitsune upward into the air which resulted in Kitsune bursting in the air.

Kai: No Kitsune!

Tyler: That's a burst finish for Susanoo. Sebastian is the winner with a score of two to zero.

Tyler said this while having his left extended arm and hand pointed at Sebastian like he did before with Kai.

Sebastian: And to think you lost to a power like that Joe. It looks like I overestimated your strength.

Tyler: No, I wouldn't say that.

Tyler said while looking at Sebastian with both hands in his pockets.

Tyler: It seems you have just gotten stronger from your battle against Akihiro.

Sebastian: How far am I from being the strongest student in this school?

Sebastian said while holding Susanoo up in his left hand with him looking at Susanoo and Susanoo glowing purple.

Tyler: Oh, not even close! It's funny you even hyped yourself up to that status!

Tyler said in a happy like tone.

Sebastian: What?

Sebastian retorted in an angry tone.

Tyler: Oh there's many kids in this school that are far stronger than you all.

Tyler said while smiling and leaning his back down to look at Sebastian face to face.

Tyler: So calm that little ego of yours and try to surpass Akihiro first, then we'll possibly talk.

Sebastian: What?! I beat Akihiro, what are you even talking about?!

Sebastian said while waving his left arm out with his hand extended.

Tyler: If you really think Akihiro was trying against you, you'll be sorrily mistaken. I don't know why he decided to suppress his power to let you win but I know for a fact he did.

Sebastian's face was one full of rage.

Sebastian: Yeah, we'll see about that.

Sebastian ran out of the gym, looked right and left, and then ran left.

Joe: Where is he going?

Kai: I don't know.

Kai said while walking over next to Joe with his hands behind his head and his arms sticking upward and then bending in a position which looks like Kai's hands are holding his head forward.

Tyler: I have an idea.

Sebastian was running to a gym and when entered he stopped running and angled his back down with his arms extended downward so his hands could meet his knees and he started catching his breath.

Barrett: Sebastian, what are you doing here?

Sebastian: I want a rematch.

Sebastian said this with his arm extended and his index finger extended out so he could point at Akihiro. While saying this the rest of Team 7 entered the room.

Tyler: Just as I thought.

Barrett: Tyler, I didn't expect you bringing Team 7 here.

Tyler: Not my idea, Sebastian came here on his own free will.

Barrett: Well, do you want to battle me as our next challenge? As an example for the kids to follow.

Tyler: Aren't we supposed to battle tomorrow before the first match in the tournament?

Barrett: Yeah, but I'm just so pumped!

Barrett said this while holding his bey with his right arm extended out and his bey pointed at Tyler.

Barrett: Me and Character Beast are so pumped! Please, Tyler, just one battle!

Barrett said while point his right arm upward a bit and having his index finger pointed up.

Tyler: Fine, I'll battle you and Beast.

Barrett: Let's go!

Barrett said while jumping up in joy.

Sebastian: What about my battle?!

Sebastian said in an angered tone.

Tyler: You can wait after us.

Tyler said with his hands in his pockets and turned away from Sebastian while walking to his side of the stadium while Barrett walked to the other.

Tyler: Now let the grownups teach you kids what you'll see at the higher levels of competition.

Tyler made it to his side of the stadium at the same time Barrett did and they both readied their launchers.

Joe: Okay I'll be the ref, now ready, and set.

Tyler and Barrett: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium. Both beys went to the center with them both clashing at that location. Character Beast looked to be a right spinning defense type like Tyler's bey, Tachibana. Unlike Tachibana though the Character ring was light green and primarily round but with many jagged attack points and two dark green burst stoppers with one burst stopper on the left side of the ring while the other was on the right side. The Beast chip though was black with the avatar being a light green haired ape with red eyes, dark green skin, and giant muscles. The disc was a pure light green Over and the driver was a dark green Metal Drift. Finally the chassis was a pure light green 1S with both the metal and the plastic part being coated light green.

Barrett: Let's go Beast!

Beast pushed Tachibana out of the center with Tachibana circling around the inner circle of the stadium.

Tyler: So that's his plan, using his bey's weight to push me away and tank attacks.

Tyler thought while analyzing the battle.

Tyler: Well that's not going to work.

Tachibana started barrage attacking Beast which didn't push it out of the center but did cause it to start losing stamina due to the amount of strikes it was enduring

Barrett: That's not going to work on me Tyler!

Barrett said this in an excited tone.

Barrett: Now go Beast!

Barrett said this while extending his right arm out and having his right hand clenched into a fist. After saying this Barrett's flare appeared which resulted in his skin becoming darker, his entire eye becoming white, and a bright green aura appearing around him.

Barrett: Character Counter!

With this new power, Beast slammed into Tachibana which sent it flying but Tachibana was able to land on its driver.

Tyler: Oh so we're doing a flare battle huh!

Tyler clapped his hands together with his flare appearing which caused a blue aura to appear around him and his left eye to glow red.

Tyler: Go get him Tachibana!

Tyler said this while extending his right hand out and his hand open but it's fingers bent like claws.

Barrett: Match the attack Beast!

Both beys slammed into each other causing an explosion in the stadium and wind being pushed back into everyone's faces.

Tyler: You lost Barrett.

Barrett: What?!

Tyler: Swift Counter!

A larger explosion of wind was then released with every blader covering their face with their respective dominate arms. When the dust settled they all looked into the stadium and found Tachibana barely spinning while Beast had bursted.

Joe: That is a burst finish for Tachibana. Tyler wins this battle with a score of two to zero.

Joe said this with his right arm extended and his hand open.

Barrett: No! How could I lose?!

Tyler: You don't strategize Barrett.

Tyler said this while grabbing Beast and putting it back together in his right hand while using his left to turn the layers and chassis back to it's no click state.

Tyler: Even with your new evolved resonance you still have to strategize.

Tyler then put Beast in Barrett's right hand.

Tyler: With straight raw power we're about equal but when strategy is involved we're far from it. You didn't even once think about using the burst stoppers on Character did you?

Barrett: Well good game Tyler.

Barrett said while extending his right arm out and having his right hand extending his thumb upward.

Barrett: Get ready for tomorrow, because I have a extra trick up my sleeve.

Tyler: Extra trick? Is he going to use the burst stoppers in our next battle?

Tyler thought.

Tyler: Well time for the next battle.

Tyler said while turning around to look at Sebastian and Akihiro with his hand's in his pockets. After hearing this Sebastian and Akihiro walked to their respective teacher's side of the stadium and readied their beys on their launchers.

Sebastian: I'm going to prove Tyler wrong, there is no way Akihiro was holding back in that battle.

Sebastian thought with a smirk on his face.

Akihiro: Did he figure out that I was holding back?

Akihiro thought while preparing to launch his bey.

Tyler: Alright time for this battle, blazers ready, and set.

Tyler then raised his arm in the air like a ref when he said set.

Sebastian and Akihiro: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium but there was a difference from Sebastian's last battle with Akihiro compared to this one. Amaterasu was taller than it was in it's last battle with Susanoo.

Sebastian: A height change?! When could Amaterasu do that?!

Sebastian thought in confusion.

Akihiro: Let's see what Sebastian can do against Amaterasu in this mode.

Akihiro thought with intrigue.

Both beys were spinning around in the stadium with no bey making contact till Sebastian decided to make the first move.

Sebastian: Now Susanoo!

Sebastian said while throwing his left arm out like a punch.

Susanoo then charged at Amaterasu and slammed into Amaterasu, sending it back a bit.

Akihiro: So he has grown a bit from our last battle.

Akihiro thought with intrigue.

Akihrio: So that old man Ashtem was right about his potential.

Akihiro then threw his right arm out in a punching motion.

Akihiro: Time to counter Amaterasu, Champion Slash!

Amaterasu started charging its power and then charged at Susanoo.

Sebastian: Not on my watch! Hero Upper!

Sebastian threw his left arm in a swinging motion when he said this with his left hand open.

Both beys then clashed at the center which caused a big explosion in the stadium with a gigantic burst of wind. Susanoo and Amaterasu then regained their balance and charged up for another attack.

Akihiro: Maybe I should just allow him to burst me in this next clash. It would be perfect for his conversion to the Snake Pit if he believed he truly surpassed me. Just for me to obliterate him and prove to him that he is just a little ant compared to my power, which would cause his ego to be shattered and for him to be more easily changed to our ideals.

Akihiro thought while looking at Sebastian.

Akihiro: No, that would be too suspicious. If Sebastian isn't the one who suspected me then it was most definitely Tyler. So I can't bet on a chance just for my guess to be incorrect and then be caught. I'll just keep matching him in power till it's safe to just throw the match.

Both beys clashed again with a bigger gust of wind being released and both beys being sent back.

Sebastian: Rise Susanoo!

Sebastian said this while his flare appeared which caused his eyes to glow red and an orange and red aura to appear around him.

Akihiro: Alright let's do this.

Akihiro said this which caused his flare to appear which resulted in a purple aura forming around him.

Sebastian: Now charge Susanoo! Use Hero Upper!

Akihiro: Same with you Amaterasu! Obliterate Susanoo with Champion Slash!

The two beys slammed in the center of the stadium which caused another explosion in the stadium and a gust of wind.

Sebastian: Now burst!

Akihiro: Not on my watch!

Both beys fell back but were severely weakened due to the lash clash consuming a lot of energy.

Sebastian: I'm ending this now!

Sebastian said in an angry tone.

Susanoo then charged at Amaterasu at a medium speed.

Akihiro: He's attacking already? I guess when he's angered he doesn't think strategically like he usually does.

Akihiro thought.

Akihiro: I guess now this is when I should lose.

Akihiro then smirked and looked Sebastian in the eyes.

Akihiro: No you're not I am!

Both beys clashed again and another gust of wind was released which caused people to cover their eyes with their dominate arms. When the dust settled they looked into the stadium to see Amaterasu bursted and when they looked at Susanoo they found it barely spinning.

Sebastian: Yes!

Sebastian said this while jumping up in the air. When he landed he grabbed Susanoo and used his right arm to check his forehead to find he was sweating profusely. Sebastian then fell to the ground in exhaustion with a smile on his face.

Joe: Is Sebastian actually smiling?

Joe said while looking at Kai with his hands in his pockets.

Kai: Tyler get the camera! This is a once in a life time event!

Sebastian then raised his head up quick, looking at Kai and Joe.

Sebastian: Shut up you idiots!

Sebastian said in an annoyed tone.

Joe: And there's the normal Sebastian.

Akihiro then grabbed Amaterasu and put it back together.

Tyler: Was Akihiro trying this time?

Tyler thought with his hands in his pockets and while analyzing Akihiro's facial reactions.

Tyler: If he was still holding back he's still doing a good job at it. I can't take the risk of a Snake Pit blader in our school, especially after the events that happened before.

Akihiro saw Tyler analyze him out of the corner of his eye.

Akihiro: Yeah, it was definitely Tyler who suspected me. He probably still does so I need to lay low for a bit.

Akihiro thought with a hint of a worried tone.

Tyler: Well that was a good battle.

Tyler said while walking over to Sebastian with his right hand in his pocket and his left arm extended with his left hand open. Sebastian grabbed onto Tyler's hand and then Tyler helped Sebastian to his feet.

Tyler: Well this is the end of practice for today. Ya'll better get some rest and get prepared for our battle for tomorrow, our first match is against the winner between the match with Team 23 and Team 10 and from what I've seen, they're a pretty strong team. So you three need your rest and to be on your A game for tomorrow, got it.

Team 7: Got it.

Team 7 then left the gym while Tyler still stood there.

Barrett: You need to prepare as well for our match tomorrow.

Barrett said this while walking over to Tyler and putting his left arm over Tyler's left shoulder and making a thumbs up with his right hand.

Tyler: Guess I will.

Tyler said in a somewhat annoyed voice.

Tyler: Well I'll be leaving, see ya'll tomorrow.

Tyler said while walking out of the gym while waving bye with his right hand.

Barrett: See you later Tyler!

Barrett said in a cheerful tone while waving his right hand bye with his right arm fully extended upward unlike Tyler who only had his arm to his chest.

Kai: I'm going to have to get really strong if I hope to compete with Sebastian and Akihiro.

Kai thought on his way to Team 7's dorm.

Kai then grabbed Kitsune from his pocket and looked at it.

Kai: First thing is I need to figure out what's wrong with you so I can awaken my flare.

Kai then blinked and was in the world where Kitsune's avatar lived.

Kai: Of coarse I'm here again.

Kai said in an annoyed tone.

Kai walked over to the gate to see Kitsune was there, glaring at him.

Kai: Why won't you just let me use my flare and use your true power?

Kai said in an irritated tone.

Kitsune: Why would I let the person that caused me to be sealed in here access my power?

Kitsune said in an irritated tone as well.

Kai: Well I'm sorry but you're stuck here and I don't know how to get you out. So can you please cooperate with me? We could become friend you know.

Kitsune smirked and then laughed a bit.

Kitsune: To think I would ever cooperate with a human, and even become its friend. No, I will not help you, so you better figure out how to become stronger with your own power because you're not using mine.

Kai then blinked and he was back in the normal world.

Kai: Why won't that stupid fox let me connect with him?

Kai said irritated while the door to his room opened.

Kai: If Kitsune won't cooperate with me, how can I possibly become the strongest blader?

Kai put Kitsune on his desk and then jumped onto his bed landing face first onto the blanket.

Kai: I need to find a way fast to level up or even Joe is going to leave me behind. But what could I do?

Kai said while turning his body so he could look at his ceiling while he thought of ways to possibly solve the problem.

Beyblade Burst: Planet Chapter #6 "Start of the Team Tournament"

Kai woke up startled to the sound of his alarm clock.

Kai: Well time for the team tournament!

Kai jumped out of his bed and grabbed Kitsune with his right hand and then leaved his room seeing Joe leave his rooms in purple pajamas with yellow spots.

Joe: Did you sleep in that?

Kai: Yeah what about it?

Joe: How do you sleep with a cape on? Plus your clothes are probably really sweaty.

Kai: Well I had to be prepared for the team tournament.

Joe facepalmed with his right hand and shook his head side to side.

Joe: We battle in the second round not the first.

Kai: Oh yeah we do.

Kai said while remembering Tyler telling Team 7 that information.

Joe: Yeah, so go wash your clothes and then get to our gym. We have to practice for our match against whatever team we're up against.

Kai: Yeah but I want to watch Tyler and Barrett's rematch!

Kai said in a whiney tone.

Joe: You make me feel like a father.

Joe said in a slightly annoyed tone.

Joe: I can record the battle for you. Just wash your clothes, please.

Kai: Fine.

Kai said in an annoyed tone. Kai then went to his room and switched to his casual outfit and went into the bathroom where there were washing machines and dryers and put his blader attire in the washing machine.

Joe: Alright, time to go Sebastian!

Joe said in a loud voice with his back to Sebastian's room and with his hands in his pockets.

Sebastian: I'm coming!

Sebastian said while leaving his room with a distraught face and in his blading outfit.

Joe: Did you sleep in your blading outfit too?

Joe said in an agitated tone and with his right hand extended and with his right hand's index finger extended to point at Sebastian.

Sebastian: No, I'm not that stupid. You better get changed.

Joe: Oh yeah.

Joe said while looking down to see he was still in his pajamas. He then went back into his room and switched into his blading clothes and then came back into the main dorm area.

Joe: Where'd Sebastian go?

Joe said in a confused tone while looking around the main room.

Kai: Oh he left without you.

Kai said while sticking his head out of the bathroom with the left side of his body.

Joe: Of coarse he did!

Joe said in an agitated tone. He then left the dorm area and jogged his way to the main gym area to see every single team in their numbered area on the bleachers and Sebastian sitting alone at the area with the number seven. Joe got up on the bleachers and then walked to where Sebastian was sitting.

Joe: Did you really have to leave me like?

Joe said in somewhat of a questioning tone.

Sebastian: Well you were going to leave Kai since he wasn't prepared so why should I not leave you since you weren't prepared?

Joe titled his head down and then sat next to Sebastian and then turned his left to the left to look at Sebastian in the face.

Joe: Guess that's fair.

Joe then titled his head back and looked at the center of the gym to see two workers carrying the stadium for the team tournament.

Sebastian: Just so you know.

Joe then titled his head back to see Sebastian with his resonance activated and staring downward.

Sebastian: If I lose this tournament because of either you or Kai, I will destroy both of you.

Sebastian said in a angered tone. Joe moved back a bit with a bit of fear in his eyes from seeing Sebastian's eyes full of red and a red and orange aura surrounding him.

Joe: Got it.

Joe said in a intimidated tone, like a child talking to their angered dad after the dad learned they did something ignorant at school.

Joe: Ever since that battle with Akihiro and Tyler telling him that Akihiro was holding back he's been in such an agitated mood.

Joe thought with concern.

Joe: Did learning Akihiro was possibly holding back against him hurt his pride that much.

Just like a scripted event was taking place, Akihiro then entered the gym and walked over to where Joe and Sebastian sat.

Akihiro: Hey, nice to see ya'll again. It was fun battling with you again Sebastian, I hope we get to see each other in this tournament.

Akihiro said in a tone that sounded honest and genuine, though from behind the scenes it was far from it.

Akihiro: There, this should get Sebastian to see me as a kind person and cause him to believe less in me holding back my power.

Akihiro thought.

Sebastian: What do you want?

Sebastian said in an aggravated tone. His resonance then appeared again but more aggressive this time.

Akihiro: Woah, no need to throw that power around friend.

Akihiro said while stepping back with a worried expression on his face.

Akihiro: I was just trying to say it was fun battling you and I hope we get another rematch.

By the time Akihiro said this Tyler was behind him and tapped him on the shoulder.

Tyler: Aren't you supposed to be with your team?

Akihiro: Oh yeah sorry.

Akihiro said while scratching the back of his head with his right hand.

Tyler: Then you should probably go do that.

Tyler said in a tone that sounded like he was trying to hide his irritation with his existence. Akihiro then left their area and went to his team's area where Barrett and his teammates were.

Tyler: There's something up with that kid, and I don't like it.

Tyler thought while watching Akihiro walk away.

Akihiro: I'm going to need Tyler out of the way for me to even get a chance at trying to convert Sebastian.

Akihiro thought while walking to his team's area with his hands in his pockets.

Tyler: Where's Kai?

Tyler said after he turned his head back to look at Sebastian and Joe.

Joe: He slept in his blading clothes so I made him wash them since they were probably all sweaty.

Tyler: That kid.

Tyler said while shaking his head.

Tyler: Well anyway, the lineup that we're using for this tournament is Joe first, Sebastian second, and Kai third.

Joe: You sure about this? Kai is stronger than me so it would make sense for him to go before me and for me to be last.

Tyler: Yeah I am, I've already planned this out.

Joe: Okay then.

Joe said in a not confident voice.

Tyler: Don't act like that. If you lose your confidence I'm not sure if we can win this. I need you just like everyone else here.

Tyler said while smiling and extending his right arm out to put his right hand on Joe's shoulder.

Joe: Okay, I'm ready.

Joe said while making a fist with a right hand and extending his thumb up.

Tyler: Good.

Tyler said while still smiling. He then turned his head to look at Sebastian with his hand still on Joe's shoulder.

Tyler: What about you Sebastian?

Sebastian: I'm cool with it.

Sebastian said while still facing forward and looking at the center of the gym where the stadium was set.

Tyler: Okay.

When Tyler said this Kai ran into the gym and ran up the bleachers to where the rest of Team 7 was in his newly washed blading uniform.

Kai: I'm here!

Tyler: Okay good. The line up we're doing for this tournament is Joe first, Sebastian next, then finally you.

Kai: What?!

Kai said in surprise.

Kai: I'm barely going to be able to battle!

Tyler: No you will, just trust the process.

Kai: Okay teach.

Kai said reluctantly.

Tyler: Alright I have to go prepare for my rematch against Barrett. After my battle with him I'll meet you in our gym where we can prepare for our battle against whatever team we meet.

Tyler said this while turning around and walking away from Team 7. He then left the gym from the same way he entered with Barrett following closely behind him.

Joe: Who do ya'll think is gonna win?

Kai: Oh definitely Tyler!

Kai said while jumping up in excitement.

Sebastian: Same.

Sebastian said with much less excitement.

Joe: I don't know who'll win. I know from the last battle Tyler has the most likely chance of winning but Barrett could've prepared for this battle with the new knowledge he gained from his battle yesterday with him.

After Joe said this Mr. Winbush was in the center of the gym and began to speak.

Mr. Winbush: Hello bladers! Welcome to the start of the WBBA Academy Team Tournament!

Confetti was then released from machines and started to fall down like rain.

Mr. Winbush: Here today we have many scouts from World League teams here to evaluate your strengths, weaknesses, and potential to see if you have a chance of growing into someone that can hold their own in the World League. So now, let's get into the team tournament with a battle between two teachers, Tyler and Barrett!

After saying the two teacher's names he walked away from the stadium while Sebastian and Barrett made their way to their sides of the stadium. When both teacher's made their way to their sides of the stadium they prepared their launchers and beys.

Tyler and Barrett: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high speeds. Though something was different because unlike their last battle, Beast was spinning counter clockwise instead of clockwise.

Tyler: Counter clockwise?

Tyler said in confusion.

Barrett: You're not the only one with tricks Tyler!

Barrett said excited.

Barrett: Now go get him Beast!

Tyler: Meet the attack Tachibana!

Both beys clashed at the center which caused a explosion of wind to be released from the stadium which caused both Beast and Tachibana to be sent back.  

Barrett: Let's get serious Tyler, the kids are probably pumped up and want to battle so let's make this quick.

Barrett said this while his resonance appeared.

Tyler: Alright, let's do this.

Tyler replied with his resonance appearing.

Barrett: Now go Beast!

Barrett said while throwing a kick with his right leg.

Tyler: Go Tachibana!

Tyler said while throwing a punch with his right hand and arm.

Both beys clashed again with sparks flying in the stadium and then another gust of wind was released.

Barrett: Character Counter!

Beast moved back and then slammed into Tachibana with all its might.

Tyler: Swift Counter!

Another gust of wind was released with everyone covering their eyes from the wind's pressure and when their eyes were uncovered they found Tachibana still sitting while Beast bursted.

Barrett: What, no!

Tyler: Was your plan to change spin directions to confuse me and then try to overpower me?

Barrett: Yeah.

Barrett said in a disappointed mood.

Barrett: But it looks like your bey's defenses are just too good. Guess they do call Tachbiana the best defense type for a reason.

Barrett said this while grabbing Beast and putting it back together.

Tyler: I wouldn't say all that.

Tyler said while helping Barrett up with his right arm and hand.

Mr. Winbush: Well, that was a quick battle.

Tyler: Well he did say he wanted to end this quick so the kids could battle.

Barrett: Yeah, this battle really just shows the differences in strength with us. Though one day I will beat you Tyler!

Barrett said in an excited mood.

Tyler: Whatever you say.

Tyler said in a joking mood.

Mr. Winbush: Well, now let the battles begin!

Confetti was released from the air again.

Mr. Winbush: The first battle will be Team 16 vs Team 17 so those teams, please come on stage!

After Mr. Winbush said this Team 7 left their area on the bleachers and went to the gym to see Tyler already there.

Kai: How did you get here so soon?!

Kai said in shock while extending his right arm and right index finger to point at Tyler.

Tyler: It's not my fault ya'll are so slow.

Kai: Did you sprint here or something?!

Tyler: How I got here has no relevance right now. Right now we need to practice and prepare. So get to training.

Team 7 was surprised by Tyler's seriousness as he was usually a laid back teacher.

Tyler: Joe and Sebastian I want you two here battling, Kai you're with me.

Tyler said while waving Kai to him. After Tyler said this Team 7 split into their training groups and started to prepare for their battles.

Sebastian: Remember what I told you Joe?

Sebastian said while readying his bey and launcher.

Joe: Yeah.

Joe replied while looking at the stadium and readying his bey and launcher.

Sebastian: Alright then, let's go.

Sebastian said while getting in his launching position with Joe doing the same.

Sebastian and Joe: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high speeds with Joker in stamina mode and going into the center of the stadium while Susanoo circled around the edges of the stadium.

Sebastian: Go get it Susanoo!

Sebastian said while throwing a punch out with his left arm and hand.

Susanoo then dashed at Joker with high speeds.

Joe: Meet the attack Joker!

Both beys clashed in the center of the stadium causing a gust of wind to be released causing both beys to be sent back. After this Sebastian's flare then appeared.

Joe: Oh so we're getting serious.

Joe said with a smile on his face while his flare appeared.

Sebastian: Hero Upper!

Sebastian said while throwing another punch in the air.

Joe: Not on my watch! Jynx Smash!

Both beys made contact again which resulted in a larger gust of wind being released which caused both bladers to cover their eyes. When the wind dissipated they saw the clash resulted in Joker being sent upward in the air while Susanoo was still spinning in the stadium.

Joe: You got this Joker!

Joe said while extending his right arm out with his right hand open.

Sebastian: Not on my watch!

Sebastian said while holding both hands clenched up into fists at his chest. After Sebastian said this Joker dove down to the stadium floor and Susanoo began to position itself for one more charge attack to end the battle.

Sebastian: Now Susanoo!

Sebastian said while throwing a punch with his extended left arm and clenched left hand. After Sebastian said this Susanoo charged at Joker, slamming into it which resulted in Joker bursting.

Sebastian: There we go.

Joe: Aw man.

Sebastian: I'm going to need you to step up your game for the tournament, because I'm counting on you.

Sebastian said in a serious tone while readying Susanoo on his launcher.

Joe: Yeah, I know.

Joe said in a somewhat disappointed tone while putting Joker back together and readying his launcher.

Sebastian: Alright, let's go again.

Joe: Yeah.

Joe said with a smirk and nodding.

Sebastian and Joe: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

*On the other side of the gym*

Tyler: You ready Kai?

Kai: Yeah, I just wish I had a flare like those two. But Kitsune doesn't seem to like me.

Kai said in a somewhat sad tone while turning his head away from Joe and Sebastian's battle and to the floor.

Tyler: What do you mean by that?

Tyler said in a confused tone while slightly turning his head to the left.

Kai: I talked to Kitsune yesterday and he said he would never cooperate with a human.

Kai said while looking at Tyler in the face in a sad tone.

Tyler: Interesting, this has never happened before from my knowledge.

Tyler said with his hand wrapped around his chin with his right hand's thumb on the right side of his chin while his index finger was below the chin with all the other fingers below the index.

Tyler: Guess we'll need to do some extra flare training with you?

Kai: Flare training?

Kai said confused.

Tyler: Yeah, after the team tournament we start teaching bladers techniques to allow you to connect with your bey more. And it looks like you're gonna need some extra training with flare.

Kai: Oh okay, I hope it helps with my problem.

Kai said in an innocent tone.

Tyler: Well we'll get to that later, it's time to practice.

Tyler said while readying his launcher.

Kai: Yeah!

Kai said in an excited tone while readying his launcher.

Tyler and Kai: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

Both beys were launched into the stadium at high velocity with Tachibana going to the center of the stadium while Kitsune circled around it.

Kai: Go get it Kitsune!

Kai said while throwing a punch with his right hand and arm. Kitsune slammed into Tachibana but was sent back by Tachibana's spring loaded points.

Tyler: Just slamming into me is not going to work. Did you forget what plan you had before that you used in the exhibition match?

Kai's eyes widened as he remembered his plan he had that he used in the exhibition match.

Kai: Alright let's try this Kitsune!

Kitsune charged at Tachibana again but instead of slamming into it, Ktisune used the Hold' driver to change it's direction and started circling around Tachibana and started randomly doing barrage attacks which wasn't strong enough to push the defensive points back enough to activate the springs but instead the attacks were being used to chip at Tachibana's stamina.

Tyler: Good job, this is a pretty good counter to the Lightning ring. I'm honestly impressed you created a strategy Barrett never came up with. Though it really just shows how high your blading intelligence is.

Tyler said with a smile.

Kai: Keep attack Kitsune!

Kai said while repeatedly throwing punches one by one, using both his arms and fists.

Tyler: And you didn't hear any of that, did you.

Tyler said in a bit of annoyed tone.

Tyler: Now let's get a bit serious.

Tyler said while his flare appeared. After Tyler said this Tachibana blitzed Kitsune and started pushing Kitsune back to the edge of the stadium wall.

Kai: Not one my watch! Planet Dash!

Kitsune dashed away from Tachibana and came back to slam into it from the other side.

Tyler: You've gotten faster huh. Well that's not gonna be enough.

Kai: We'll see about that!

Kitsune started blitzing Tachibana from every side with Tyler not being able to react.

Kai: Let's go Kitsune!

After Kai said this Tyler saw what looked to be the start of an orange aura around Kai though it disappeared as fast as it appeared.

Tyler: Was that?

Tyler was in a bit of shock after seeing Kai unleash what looked to be the start of a flare.

Kai: Now end this Kitsune!

Kai said this while throwing out a punch with his right arm and fist. Kitsune slammed into Tachibana again but this resulted in the defensive points on Tachibana to be pushed in.

Tyler: End this now! Swift Counter!

Tyler said this while extending his right arm out and waving it in the air with the hand open. After Tyler said this a giant gust of wind was released into the stadium. After the dust settled both bladers could see clearly in the stadium that Kitsune bursted while Tachibana was barely spinning.

Kai: Not again!

Kai said while falling to his knees in frustration with both hands clenched and making contact with the floor.

Tyler: It's okay Kai. The difference in power between a teacher and one of you guys is a lot so don't be discouraged from me beating you. Especially since I've been blading for a lot longer than you have.

Tyler said while helping Kai up to his feet with his right arm and hand.

Tyler: You've made a lot of progress in that battle alone with Kitsune's speed. Keep working on that and you can just blitz every blader you go against in the tournament.

Tyler said with a smile and a thumbs up with his right arm extended.

Tyler: Now let's do that again.

Tyler said while readying Tachibana on his launcher.

Kai: Yeah!

Kai said with a happy tone while putting Kitsune back together and setting it on the launcher.

Tyler and Kai: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!

*One hour later*

A voice on the intercom began to speak.

Mr. Winbush: Hello Team 7, you're match is about to begin so please report to the main Gym for your match against Team 10.

Tyler: Alright let's get going.

Tyler said while opening the door of the gym they were in so they could leave. Once Team 7 got inside the main gym they could see the crowd of people on the bleachers getting excited to see the next battle while other teams were sad as they didn't make it to the second round. On the opposite side of Team 7 and the door to the gym they could see Scouts from every single World League team at their own separate desks with different things like notebooks, pencils, pens, and tablets, taking notes on each blader's strengths and weaknesses to see if they have any sort of potential in the World League.

Kai: Wow, I'm getting pumped for this!

Kai said with a smile while waving to the crowd on the bleachers with both his arms upward.

Joe: Yeah, let's beat this Team 10.

Joe said with a smile while looking at Kai. Unlike Kai and Joe though Sebastian was scouting out the other team. The other team had three members like every other team. One of the members was a skinny boy having black hair tied in a high man bun with a white hair band and brown eyes. He wore a black long sleeve shirt under a green t-shirt with black pants, white socks, blue sneakers, and a pair of silver hoop earrings with one on each ear. The other boy on the team was a fat kid with long brown hair that went to the top half of his back and black eyes. He wore a white t-shirt with a red word on the front that said "WBBA", black shorts, white socks, and black sneakers. Finally the last member was  a skinny female who had blond hair with a pony tail in the back that went to the top middle part of her back but in the front half of her face was covered by her hair and she had light blue eyes. She wore a purple sleeveless shirt that didn't cover her stomach, a purple mini skirt with grey shorts underneath, grey knee protectors, grey elbow protectors,  and black sandals she wore without any socks.

Sebastian: So that's Team 10 huh.

Sebastian thought with interest.

Sebastian: Let's see if they're any good.

Mr. Winbush: Alright each team, choose your first blader!

Mr. Winbush announced in an excited tone on his microphone.

Tyler: You got this Joe.

Tyler said while extending his right arm out and having his hand clenched into a fist for a fist bump.

Joe: You know it.

Joe said while fist bumping Tyler and smiling. He then walked over to the stadium where he met his first opponent which was the skinny boy with the high man bun.

Ref: This is the first battle. The two bladers are Joe Bri with Jynx Joker Gamble Trans 1D against Kayden Nelson with Senior Karna Destroy' 3A. Now let the first battle begin!

Joe and Kayden: 3,2,1, GO SHOOT!
