Uriel *Mind*: Huh, smash attacks don't seem to work... well, lets change it up, Ulysses! *He'd say, switching Ulysses to Slash mode*
Maruko: First battle! Ready, and set!
*Maruko would crouch down like a crab*
Uriel *Mind*: What kind of launching stance is that..?
Uriel: Three!
*Maruko would stomp on the ground, then jump into the air*
Uriel: Two!
*Maruko would sidestep to the left, then he'd hold his launcher up vertically with his left hand, clicking his beyblade into place*
Uriel: One!
*Maruko would put his launcher on the string, his launcher now to the right side of him*
Maruko: Let it... RIP!
*They'd both pull of Quantum Shoots, with each of their beys slamming against the stadium floor*
Maruko: Alright then, lets start this off with Decimate Barrage!
Uriel: Counter it with Clash Shoot! *He'd thrust both his hands forward*
*Ulysses and Mortifyr would trade powerful blows, sending shockwaves throughout the stadium*
Uriel: Doing good, Ulysses!
*Suddenly, however, Mortifyr would release a faint purple aura. It would then start to push Ulysses towards the wall*
Uriel: W-What the?!
Maruko: Doing good, huh?! NOW MORTIFYR!
*Mortifyr would finally pin Ulysses between itself and the wall*
Maruko: HAAAAAAH!!
Uriel: ULYSSES, NO!!
*An extremely bright light would burst through as Mortifyr crushed Ulysses*
*Suddenly, Uriel would wake up in the battle colosseum*
Uriel: AH! WHAT THE HE-
Juudai: Looks like your finally awake, sleepyhead.
Shinito: Yeah man, you've been out cold for a looong time!
Aria: Right. Something seemed off about you when you were asleep...
Shinito: Yeah, after the whole thing with Arenai and the battle with Iru, you fell right on the floor, out cold.
Bax: Me and this nerd right here *He'd point to Shinito* literally had to lug you all the way to the stands.
Uriel: Darn... well, I had the weirdest dream, and it was about-
Bax: Oh shoot, gotta go! *He'd dash down to the main arena*
Hanami: Aaaaaalright Bey Fans! We're kicking it here with the 3rd match of the Tag Team Battles! In the red corner, we have the Roaring Reds, Bax Noiji and Arenai Inuhara!
*Bax and Arenai would walk up to the stadium*
Bax: Hey! When did we agree on "The Roaring Reds"?
Arenai: Oh, we didn't. I told Hanami to name our team that. It sounded epic-
Bax: YOU WHAT?!
Hanami: And in the blue corner, we have the Kings of Accord, Iru Jahani and Zoro Nomura!
*Iru and Zoro would walk up to the stadium*
Bax: You two ready to lose? And Zoro, just because you're Uriel's older brother doesn't mean I'll go easy on ya!
Zoro: You never had to, man! Sad that you'll be losing here, though.
Arenai: Iru Jahani! This'll be the day I finally take your spot of number 1 in the Quantum Three, in front of live television!
Iru: You wish, Arenai.
Uriel: Darn, its getting intense down there!
Nora: Well, its a battle of the Quantum 3 members, and not to mention BAX. 'Course it would be intense.
Uriel: Darn... I dunno who to root for, Bax's team or Zoro's team?

*The battle between Iru and Uriel was getting intense, yet Iru took the first point quite easily*
Iru: Well, would you look at that?
Uriel: Tch...
Shinito: C'mon Uriel, turn this around!
Bax: (sigh) Uriel's really just helpless... *He'd turn around* Guess I'll just go ahead and train with Arenai. *He'd leave the training area*
Uriel: This is pretty fun, Iru! But me and Ulysses will be going all out this round! *He'd say as his eyes with turn full-on green and he would be surrounded by a golden, emphasizing that his Quantum Flare was burning up*
Iru: *Gasps* What the...
*Iru would have a flashback*
*In the flashback, Iru and Free was at the latter's secret forest beystadium*
Iru *Young*: Free... will Geist Fafnir be ok?
Free: Not at all... Fafnir might have to be repaired sooner or later.
Iru *Young*: Man... Don't worry Free, I'm gonna go defeat that Phi guy for you!! *He'd run off*
Free: (sigh) He's hopeless... *He'd smile as Iru ran off into the distance*
*Flashback would end*
Iru: He's... so similar...
Uriel: Yo, Iru! You ok? *He'd say, waving his hand in Iru's face*
Iru: *He'd swat Uriel's hand away from his face, then his eyes would glow green* Get your hands away from me. *He'd hold out his launcher in front of him* My mental health should be nothing of your concern! Now, is only time for battle! *He'd say as a green aura would surround him*
Uriel: Tch! Ok then, onto the second battle! This time me and Ulysses will be sure to go super ultra matrix and send you packing! *He'd say as his Quantum Flare would erupt in an inferno aura around his body*
Uriel *Mind*: Darn, what happened to Iru? He was pretty calm a few minutes ago... strange.
Shinito: That's the spirit, Uriel!

*Ulysses would dash towards Illuminati*
Uriel *Mind*: I'll end it with one shot!
*Ulysses would then hit Illuminati*
Iru: Your just like Bax.... tsk.
*Illuminati would reflect the hit, sending Ulysses flying towards the wall*
Uriel: Not yet!
*Ulysses would hit the wall*
Uriel: Pursuit COUNTER!
*Ulysses would grind on the tip of it's driver, barely scraping the wall before shooting itself back at Illuminati*
Iru: *sigh*
*Illuminati would dodge the counterattack from Ulysses, going straight for the center and once again sending Ulysses flying towards the wall*
Iru: If you keep this up, the battle will end in a survivor finish like the last one.
Uriel: Tch! Ulysses, go for Pursuit Whip on the wall!!
*The whole crowd would gasp*
Shinito: What in the world is he planning...?
*Ulysses would hit the wall with a massive impact, leaving an extremely deep and large gash in the stadium wall*
Shinito: WHOA! Look at that power!
*Ulysses would then proceed to ricochet of the wall, going straight for Illuminati*
Uriel: Now go for Pursuit THRUSTER! *He'd thrust his hand out (haha, get it?)*
*Ulysses would rip at Illuminati with extreme force, bombarding it with multiple fast attacks from each side!*
Iru: It's about time I actually start trying. (yawns) Go, Illuminati.
*Illuminati's aura would flare up around its beyblade like an uncontrollable inferno, its avatar bursting out of the beyblade, holding out it's pendulum and its staff*
Iru: Trigram Wall.
*Illuminati would blast Ulysses out of the stadium in an instant, bursting it and sending it's pieces flying into Uriel's face*
Uriel: Ow! *Uriel would fall to the ground in pain*
Gary: Trigram Illuminati, with a burst finish! Iru Jahani wins, again!
*Fanboys and girls would crowd up to Iru*
Fanboy #1: Oh my gosh, can I get your autograph?!?!
Fangirl #1: I can't believe its THE Iru Jahani!!!
Fanboy #2: Can you sign my bey-
Arenai: GIVE THE MAN SOME PERSONAL SPACE, GEEZ!
*The crowd would dissipate from Iru*
Fanboy #3: God, Arenai is so mean!

All of the Fanboys and Fangirls: NO SIR MR. ARENAI SIR!! *Every single last one of the fans would clear out from the Training Area in an instant, leaving only Iru, Uriel, Shinito, and a massively angered Arenai*
Uriel: Geez, what was that about man-
Arenai: Iru, get to the battle colosseum right NOW! The battle's about to start!
Iru: Oh. (I missed the battle?) *He'd whisper to himself as he'd head off to the battle colosseum along with Arenai*
Shinito: Dang, he's a real grinch, don't you think?
Uriel: Yeah... he got so mad after that-
Shinito: Yeah, I thought so too. *He'd then shapeshift into Maruko*
Uriel: *He'd back up* Whoa, what the heck are you doing here man?! Wait, where'd Shinito go?
Maruko: Didn't you see, idiot? I was Shinito!
Uriel: What... the... wait, how did-
Maruko: No questioning. Now I would like a simple battle with you. *He'd hold out his bey, Decimate Mortifyr Eradicate Raze Crush+ Annihilate*

Maruko: Come on! It'll be fun! *He'd then grin, which sent a surge of cold and bitterness through Uriel's spine*
Uriel: *gasps* S-Something seems off...
Maruko (Distorted Voice): Do you wanna battle, or not?! *He'd say, cackling maniacally*
Uriel: *He'd shudder* S-Sure...
Maruko: Great!
*They'd line up at the stadium*
Maruko: Now remember... don't hold back, k?

Uriel *Mind*: Maruko usually isn't this nice... heck, he isn't nice in general. Something's off with him... I can feel it. I'm gonna be sure not to let my guard down... *He'd keep Ulysses in Slash mode*

*Ares would hit Basilisk with all its might, sending it flying towards Zelus*

*Zelus would absorb the hit, sending Basilisk flying cleanout of the stadium, safely into Bax's hand*

Arenai: Oh my bad, its not my fault Basilisk can't stay in the stadium for over 30 seconds!
Zoro: This is cute, Iru, let's get him!

*Zelus and Illuminati would charge at Ares*
Arenai: Tch! Ares, Warlord Shoot on both of them!
*Ares would burst out a barrage of attacks of both Zelus and Illuminati, stopping them in their tracks each time they went back for another blow*
Hanami: Welp, Bey Fans, this is why they call these people the Quantum Three! Ares is currently, fending off both Zelus, AND Illuminati!
Shinito: Yo, guys, something's going on!
Uriel, Juudai, and Aria: Yeah, what is it?
Shinito: Well, you see the knockback Ares is giving Illuminati and Zelus? Well, it seems that each time Ares attacks them, it gets even stronger!

*Mortifyr would develop a dark aura*
Maruko: Don't worry, Mortifyr... you'll get to devour soon!

*Ares would generate 3 flaming energy swords, slashing at Zelus and sending it flying inside the Velocity Island*
Zoro: Iru, now!
Iru: Alright then! ILLUMINATI!
*Illuminati's avatar would ascend from it's beyblade, emitting a prime green aura*
Iru: Trigram BREAK!
*Illuminati would crash at Ares, sending it flying clean out of the stadium. Ares would then burst as soon as it hit the floor*
Arenai: W-What?! No way...
Bax: *sigh*
Referee: Trigram Illuminati and Oracle Zelus, with a double ring out finish! Iru Jahani and Zoro Nomura wins the match!

Wassup everyone! I know I have been gone for a loooong time, I am sorry for that. School caught up to me faster than I could handle, and I ended up switching gears really quick. Another apology for that. Also, I have been looking back at my past fanfictions, and I never seem to want to finish a single one. Firsthand account of my inability to make up my mind. But that will stop. These past fanfictions I've left in the dust, I will bring back up again, and I have a plan:
I'll work on both Matrix and Destiny, when I finish Matrix, I'll bring back Z-Genesis, then finally Aurora. I will unfortunately not be bringing back Prime since I didn't have much other plans on the storyline for that one. Anyways it's good to be back, and you guys don't know how much I've missed you!

Episode 4 of Aurora has made its mark! (Also the guy you previously knew as Rayzio is now Ranzala lol)
(Ranzala would finally arrive at Shoko and Masashi's house)
(He'd then enter the secret entrance Shoko and Masashi previously used to make their beys)
Ranzala: This is it! I'll make my own beyblade and repay my favor... ever since that fateful day...
(Ranzala would have a flashback)
(Ranzala was in Spain, at BC Sol's gym, with two suitcases held in his two hands)
Ranzala: *sniff* I don't know what I would do without you Rantaro! There'll be so many new people, and nobody to help me out, and-
Rantaro: (He'd put a hand on Ranzala's shoulder) Dude, chill out! It'll all be fine. Aunt Kiyama will take care of you with all of her heart, I know that for sure. And you've got to start putting trust in yourself, which starts with calming the heck down in tough situations. You know what, here, take this. (He'd give Ranzala a lollipop with a purple and red wrapper) It'll totally help you calm down. Promise!
Ranzala: R-Really? (He'd take the lollipop out of the wrapper, then he'd put the lollipop in his mouth) Mmm... this tastes pretty good... I guess I do feel a bit better now!
Rantaro: Atta boy! I'll miss you, man, good luck in Japan!
Ranzala: I'll miss you too, Rantaro! Bye! (He'd say as they'd fist bump, then Ranzala would run off towards the BC Sol exit)
(The flashback would fade until Ranzala was back in the workshop)
Ranzala: *He'd wipe a tear from his eye* I'll honor him... by making my own Ragnarok! (His eyes would flash with determination)
(He'd then sit down in the chair which lay before the computer that Masashi and Shoko used to make their Ascendance beys)
Ranzala: It's a good thing I'm a pretty good engineer... (He'd sit down in the seat) Now, how do I make these Ascendance beys- *gasps* (He'd pause as he gazed up at the computer, which now held all of the information about Ascendance beys after when Shoko and Masashi made their beys)
Ranzala: So much information… this is just what I needed! Alright then, let's do this thing! (He'd say as he'd start to gather some metal, preparing to create a new Ragnaruk!)
~3 hours later~
(After 3 laborious hours of hard work, Ranzala was finally done with the new Ragnaruk!)
Ranzala: YES! I'm finally done! (He'd say, jumping into the air in excitement as he picked up his bey from the 3D printer) Now, I can carry on the Ragnaruk name...
Ranzala: ...wait, speaking of the Ragnaruk name, what should I name this new Ragnaruk?
(Ranzala thought for a moment, then a lightbulb went off in his head!)
Ranzala: *snaps* I've got the perfect name! Since the predecessors of the Ragnaruk name were based on powerful storms, I'll name my bey... Twister Ragnaruk! Yeah! Twister Ragnaruk! That's got a pretty good ring to it-
(Suddenly, the door to the secret garage would burst open, with 3 kids flying through the entrance)
Ranzala: Wait, is that...
Masashi: AAAHH!!
Shoko: That was so much fun!!
Cassie: THIS IS WHY I DON'T TRAVEL WITH YOU GUYS ANYMORE!!
(All three of the Amano siblings crashed into the floor, with Cassie slamming into Ranzala)
Ranzala: C-Cassie! A-Are you ok? (Ranzala said, slightly blushing)
Cassie: Uhm, I guess you could say that? (She said as Ranzala would get up, helping her up)
Shoko and Masashi: Ow... Wait, Ranzala? What are you doing in our secret hideout?
Cassie: I mean, I guess that one awkward moment at the BeyPark when you ran away once you saw Shoko and Masashi getting chased by an angry mob of spectators led you here... but why?
Ranzala: It's great to see you all, too. But first, tell me what happened once I had that- uhm- "moment".
Masashi: Well... (He'd close the door to the garage) What happened was...
(Suddenly, a flashback would occur, bringing Masashi and Shoko back to the grassy area between the BeyPark and their house, an angry mob chasing after them)
Angry Mob: Get back here!
Masashi: AAAH! We're sorry!!
Shoko: (He'd pick up a twig) Please, accept this peace offering, kind people!
(Instead of stopping to accept the twig, the mob just got faster)

Something Shoko would definitely do in this- and any- situation.
Shoko: (Mind): This seems like a tough cookie, but me and Seraphiel will keep on attacking it until it BURSTS!
Ranzala (Mind): Metatron and Seraphiel, a harmonic balance type and a powerful attack type. I-I kinda regret requesting this battle. A 2v1? Against some of the strongest bladers I know? I don't know if I can win this... no, this is exactly the type of stuff Rantaro told me not to worry about. I gotta stay calm. Keep my head clear of anything but victory. This battle may very well be the deciding factor of whether or not I'm worthy enough to wield the mighty Ragnaruk. And Cassie, mi amor... she's definitely counting on me to win this match... (As Metatron and Seraphiel both hit Ragnaruk, some blue plastic from inside Ragnaruk's layer would extend, nullifying the attack!)
Ranzala: Yeah! The wings activated!

Ranzala: Yep! Now go for TRIPLE WING HURRICANE!!
(Suddenly, Ragnaruk's layer would release an intense field of wind that engulfed the entirety of the stadium, trapping Metatron and Seraphiel within)

(The hurricane would then violently push Seraphiel and Metatron to the stadium wall, bursting the two beys on impact)

And you've got to start putting trust in yourself, which starts with calming the heck down in tough situations. You know what, here, take this. Something that will raise me to a god's status in beyblade. So I ask that you simply give it to me. And if you don't comply... (He'd step closer to Uriel, a sadistic smile spread across his face) I'll simply have to take it by force-

(The entire group, along with Maruko, would gasp at the sight of the 3rd member of the Quantum 3, and also Uriel's brother, Zoro Nomura!)
The Entire Group: Zoro Nomura?!
Zoro: Yep. In the flesh!
Uriel: Hey! Big bro!
Zoro: 'Sup, Uriel! How's it been, little dude! (He'd say as him and Uriel both fist bumped each other)
Juudai: Wait, Zoro, what's someone like you doing in a place like this?
Maruko: Yeah. It seems almost as if he was completely uninvited.
Zoro: Maruko Zamasu. Your ways have changed, I see.
Maruko: You betrayed me, Zoro. As well as everyone else. And I'm here to annihilate you all for that.
Zoro: Look, all I ask is for you to leave my little brother, as well as everyone else, alone. Save it for the match.
Maruko: You have nothing to do with this, Zoro. This is between me and Uriel, none of your concern.
Zoro: So maybe you haven't changed. What beef do you have with my brother anyway?
Maruko: Once again, none of your concern. Now I'd advise for you to-
[Uriel and Juudai; Maruko and Santino, your match is about to begin! Head to the colosseum ASAP!]
Maruko: Well, Uriel Nomura, you've annoyed me enough. Say your final goodbyes to your pathetic bey before it's totally decimated. (He'd say, as he'd pass Uriel with a sinister grin, Santino following reluctantly behind)
Zoro: What nerve he has. Anyways, I'll be off now, just wanted to wish you luck before I noticed that gremlin bothering you all. Goodbye, you all! Uriel, Juudai, make sure to give that gremlin Maruko a proper beating! (He'd say, waving as he ran into the distance of the submarine)
Shinito: Well, that was... something.
Bax: Not like it doesn't happen to us everyday.
Aria: Yeah... but Maruko was just acting flat out mean...
Juudai: That may be true, but Uriel and I will show him what's what, right Uriel?
(The group turned to hear Uriel's reaction, but he wasn't there. A trail of steam lead to the colosseum)
Juudai: *Gasps* Oh right, the match! Right behind you, Uriel! (With that, she took off running towards the colosseum)
Bax: There she goes too.
Shinito: Man... I have a bad feeling about the outcome of this match... now Maruko's after Uriel and Ulysses.
Aria: Yeah. Maruko did seem kinda angry, and Uriel did make him pretty mad.
Bax: Ugh. How about you two stop being so apprehensive? Uriel and Juudai will be fine... I think.
Shinito: L-Let's just take our seats in the colosseum... (He said as the trio ventured into the colosseum)
[Inside the colosseum]
Hanami: Alrighty, boys and girls! Today here at the Super Submarine, we have another epic tag team on our hands!
(The entire crowd would cheer)
Hanami: Now let's get started, shall we?
(Steam would erupt from the entrance of the left corner)
In the red corner, we have two absolute Wildcards, Uriel Nomura and Juudai Akemi!
(Uriel and Juudai would emerge from the red corner)
(The crowd would go wild)
Juudai: Let's get reckless!
Uriel: Yeah! We're gonna win this!
Hanami: And in the blue corner, we have the black knights, Maruko Zamasu and Santino Genji!
(Maruko and Santino emerged from the blue corner)
(The crowd went completely silent)
Santino: Wow, Maruko, looks like we're really popular!
Maruko: Oh do shut your mouth, Genji. Once we obliterate our lousy opponents, the crowd will be screaming our- excuse me- my name!
Santino: You selfish brat...
(The two teams would head to the BeyStadium)
Maruko: Ready for your bey to be crushed to a pulp, Uriel?
Uriel: No way! Me and Juudai will both go super duper matrix and defeat you!
Juudai: Yeah!
Santino: Uriel, I'm sorry that it has to come to this, but... (He'd flip his bangs over) Your bey will meet it's very demise in this battle!
Uriel: Santino...
Santino (Mind): Uriel and Juudai, from where I'm standing, are all about attack. So I should obviously use 10-bladed mode! (He'd switch Salamander to it's 10-bladed mode)
Uriel (Mind): I'll use the strategy Shinito and the group decided on! We may be a little bit slower, but our attacks are even stronger than before, and
that's the extra firepower we need to win this battle! (He switched Ulysses to it's Smash mode)
Shinito: C'mon, Uriel and Juudai, win this...!
(All four bladers would ready their launchers)
Referee: First battle! Ready, and set!
Crowd: Three! Two! One!
Uriel, Juudai, Maruko and Santino: Go... shoot!
(All four of the bladers would pull off Quantum Shoots, afterwards, their beys would hit the floor with a large bang)
Hanami: And the race is on, bey fans! All bladers pulled off marvelous Quantum Shoots!
Uriel: Go in for the attack, Ulysses!
(Ulysses would go straight for Salamander, hitting it so hard that it got knocked back into the wall)
Santino: Agh...
Hanami: Ulysses goes straight to Salamander, knocking it into next week!
(Uriel would squint at Salamander's blades, confirming that Salamander was in its 10-bladed mode)
Uriel (Mind): Yes! They were right!
Juudai: Let's put on a show, eh, Joker! Go for Dash Shoot! (Juudai said, waving her hat around before pointing it towards Mortifyr)
(Joker would unleash one devastating blow on Mortifyr, then another, and then another, until it turned into an all out barrage, Mortifyr being unable to escape from Joker's brutal onslaught)
Maruko: Drat...
Hanami: And on the other side of the stadium, Joker is absolutely letting loose on Mortifyr, pestering it with several blows!
Shinito and Aria: Yeah! Go Uriel and Juudai!
Santino: ENOUGH! Try breaking through my Royal GUARD!
(Salamander would generate a pink energy barrier around it, and as Ulysses attacked Salamander, it got sent flying towards the other side of the stadium, rendering Ulysses' attack ineffective)
Uriel: W-What?
Hanami: Salamander counters Ulysses' attack with some sturdy defense!
Maruko: Stupid pest... Mortifyr, dispose of Joker!
(Mortifyr retaliated Joker's onslaught, sending it flying back)
Maruko: Hehe... wait a minute...
(Maruko would notice that Ulysses is in wide open space)
Maruko: HA! Mortifyr! Go in for the attack!
(Mortifyr would lunge towards Ulysses, who was still recovering from Salamander's rebuttal)
Uriel: Ulysses, get out of the way!
Juudai: Not so fast!
(Joker would grind it's Merge' performance tip hard on the stadium floor, then it would surge towards Mortifyr)
Juudai: Joker! It's time for a Merge COUNTER!
(Joker would speed into the middle of Ulysses and Mortifyr, clashing hard with Mortifyr
Maruko: Argh...
Uriel: Thanks, Juudai! I didn't have enough time to react to Mortifyr attacking me!
Juudai: No problemo! Just helping out a friend!
(The two would fist bump)
Santino: Go for the finishing blow, Salamander!
(Salamander would dash towards Ulysses)
Uriel: Let's end this, Ulysses!
(Ulysses then started speeding towards Salamander)
Uriel, Juudai, Maruko, and Santino: HAAAA!!!
(Mortifyr and Joker joined the mix, all four beyblades clashing in the middle of the stadium)
Hanami: My, oh my! Who will be the first to fall in this epic 4 way clash?!
(Suddenly, Ulysses, Joker, Mortifyr, and Salamander would get flung far back, with Mortifyr and Salamander being launched out of the stadium while Ulysses and Joker regained footing on the stadium floor)
Uriel and Santino: *Gasps*
Juudai: YEAH!
Maruko: Are you kidding?!
Referee: Ulysses and Joker, with a ring out finish! Point standings: one to nothing!
(The crowd would erupt in cheers)
Bax: I can't believe it! They really scored a point!
Shinito: This is amazing! They're in the lead now!
Hanami: I simply cannot believe it, beyfans! Just when we all though it was gonna end in a tie, Uriel and Juudai come in clutch for the win!
(In the stands, the Quantum 3 stood isolated from the rest of the crowd, impressed)
Zoro: Well I'll be! Uriel and Juudai could win this by more than what I expected!
Arenai: Don't get your hopes up. I'm pretty sure Maruko wasn't going full power.
Zoro: Why are you always so negative? Have some hope, man!
Arenai: *Sigh of defeat* Whatever.
Iru: *Sigh*
*Back to the stadium*
Maruko: That win was a pure fluke!
Uriel: Oh yeah? How so?
Juudai: Or is it just a case of saltiness?
Maruko: You two seem really confident! However, Uriel, your downfall starts in this next round. (An ominous black aura would surround Maruko as his eyes would change to completely purple) Now I'm determined to break Ulysses!
Uriel: *Gulp* I-I won't let that happen! Me and Ulysses have a bond that can never be severed, even in the face of calamity! (Uriel's green aura would surround him)
Santino (Mind): 10-bladed mode worked well, but we still got defeated. However, if I use 5-bladed mode, I'll be able to synchronize with Maruko's attacks, possibly giving us a major win! (He'd switch Salamander to 5-bladed mode)
Uriel (Mind): The smash mode strategy worked! However, I'm afraid that they've got my strategy all figured out now, so I'm going to use slash mode! (He'd switch Ulysses to Slash mode)
Referee: Second battle! Ready, and set!
Crowd: Three! Two! One!
Uriel, Juudai, Maruko, and Santino: Go... SHOOT!
(Every one of the bladers pulled off a Quantum Shoot, except Uriel, who only had a partial Quantum Shoot)
Uriel: *Gasp*
Bax: That idiot! He seriously blew his launch?
Aria: Hush, Bax! Uriel's bey's fate is literally within Maruko's hands now! If you were him, you'd probably not even pull off a proper launch!
Bax: Hey! I would too!
Shinito: Uriel's getting nervous... that's not good, especially at a time like this!
Maruko: How foolish! You really tanked your launch? Pathetic. Mortifyr, go for Decimate Barrage on Ulysses!
(Mortifyr would lock on Ulysses, ripping up the stadium with an immensely fast and powerful barrage of attacks on Ulysses)
Uriel: C'mon! Get out of there!
Hanami: Maruko's getting serious, now! Mortifyr traps Ulysses in a never-ending loop of crazy strong attacks! What will Ulysses do?
Santino: Maruko! Let's both go for Uriel, then we'll go for Juudai once we're finished with Uriel.
Juudai: Are you kidding? Targeting Uriel?
Maruko: Fine by me. As long as I get to break the one thing Uriel holds most dear to his heart!
Santino: Salamander! Go in for the attack!
(Salamander would gain an intense speed boost, closing in on Ulysses)
Hanami: Oh? Now Ulysses is being targeted by both Maruko and Santino! Uriel is in big trouble!
Shinito: This isn't looking too good for Uriel!
Aria: ULYSSES! GET OUT OF THERE!
Uriel: *Gulp*
Juudai: Hey! Don't forget about me!
(Joker would zoom towards Salamander)
Juudai: Let's go for Arcane SHOCKER!! (She said, pumping both her hands out)
(Joker would lean on its Merge' performance tip, then it would crash into Salamander, full force! It would hit Salamander so hard that it crashed into the wall)
Santino: Not this again...
Uriel: Thanks again, Juudai! I really don't know what I would do without you saving my bacon!
Juudai: Heh, no problemo! Again.
Hanami: Wowie zowie! Just as Ulysses looks done for, Joker swoops in and saves the day!
Uriel: Alright Ulysses, I'm starting to get pumped! Let's go for a Clash COUNTER!
Maruko: Oh? You're approaching me?
(Ulysses would grind on its Clash performance tip, then it would launch itself towards Mortifyr, launching Mortifyr high up into the air)
Maruko: *Gasps*
Uriel: Heh! How do ya like that!
Hanami: Ulysses decides to go full force and knocks Mortifyr six ways to sunday!
Santino: I've had enough of being knocked around for today! Salamander, go for Royal UPPER!
(Salamander would surge towards Joker, then it would forcefully hurl Joker upwards, flinging it all the way to the other side of the stadium)
Juudai: *Gasps*
Santino: Heh!
(Joker would gracefully land on the other side of the stadium, with an insane increase in speed)
Santino: Wait- what?!
Juudai: Haha! I think you forgot that once my Merge' tip's rubber collides with the stadium floor, it gains a major increase in speed!
Santino: Argh...
Hanami: Joker somehow manages to increase it's speed as it landed!
Juudai: Now, let's end this with a bang, shall we? JOKER!!
(Joker's avatar would burst from its beyblade, a purple aura surrounding it)
Juudai: ARCANE FLASH!!!
(Joker would ride up into the left velocity island, pick up speed, and then launch itself straight towards Salamader)
Santino: We can't let them win! Not now! SALAMANDER!
(Salamander's avatar would emerge from its beyblade, a magenta aura surrounding it)
Santino: WRAP IT UP WITH ROYAL SMASH!
(Joker and Salamander would finally collide, sending massive shockwaves throughout the stadium)
Hanami: Oh my gosh, Bey Fans! Now Joker and Salamander are locked in an epic clash! Who will win this battle, though?!
Shinito: This... is intense!
Aria: Juudai seems like she has this in the bag!
Bax: DO IT!!
Juudai and Santino: HAAAAAA!!!
(The two beyblades would collide some more, not one of them giving an inch)
Juudai: NOW BURST!
(Joker would swoop in under Salamander, catching Salamander off guard as it burst, it's parts flying out of the stadium)
Santino: *Gasps*
Juudai: Nailed it!
Hanami: Finally, Joker lands a fatal blow on Salamander, causing it to burst!
Shinito: I knew she could do it! Way to go, Juudai!
Aria: Yeah! Only one more left!
(Meanwhile, at the stadium, Mortifyr was still high up in the air from Ulysses' severe attack)
Maruko: And now it's time for your long awaited demise... DESCENDING DECIMATION!
(Mortifyr would generate an ominous purple aura around itself, then it picked up speed, soon zooming down towards Ulysses)
Shinito: Now, Ulysses really has to be cautious!
Uriel: Not yet! Ulysses, get out of the way!
Juudai: I knew in this battle we would have to take some risks!
(Joker would speed towards the exact spot that Mortifyr was about to use Descending Decimation on)
Juudai: NOW! GO FOR ARCANE VERDICT!
Uriel: JUUDAI, NO!
Maruko: You FOOL!
(Mortifyr would finally reach the stadium, impacting Joker so hard that a sonic boom is sent throughout the entire stadium)
Juudai: C'mon... JOKER!
Maruko: It's a fifty-fifty chance... Mortifyr, endure!!
(The two beys would be locked in an epic collision, bursts of wind being sent everywhere)
Maruko: And now you shall BURST!
(Mortifyr would hammer down on Joker, bursting it as its parts got scattered everywhere)
Juudai: *Gasps*
Shinito: No... Juudai...
Aria: I'm starting to have a bad feeling about this...
Hanami: Holy moley! Through the intense collision, Mortifyr pulls off a burst finish on Joker!
Maruko: Hah! I predicted it before it even happened!
Juudai: But- but how?
Maruko: Simple. After you used Arcane Flash, and after Joker defeated Salamander in that collision, your stamina was absolutely beat! Add that to the monstrous power of Descending Decimation, and that's a recipe for a burst finish!
Uriel: So that was all planned?
Maruko: No, you fool, that wasn't planned at all.
Juudai: Oh... well, Uriel, win this for me, ok?
Uriel: I-I'll try, but I-I don't think I can...
(Suddenly, Uriel would enter the avatar dimension)
Uriel: Ulysses...
Ulysses: Uriel, what do you think you can't do?
Uriel: *Sigh* I-I don't think I can win this. Maruko's really determined to destroy you...
Ulysses: Who's this 'Maruko'?
Uriel: O-Oh, it's not important. But what if I lose? All of my friends are counting on me to win this...
Ulysses: Uriel, put the thought of losing out of your head. Instead, pour all of your thoughts and emotions into me. As for 'Maruko' trying to destroy me, do not worry, as of now, I will be fine. And if you lose, know that at least you tried your hardest. Now go, Uriel!

(Uriel would exit the avatar realm)
Uriel: *Deep breath* ULYSSES, I'M COUNTING ON YOUUU!!!
(Ulysses' avatar would erupt from its beyblade, and as it ascended, a blazing green aura would surround it like an inferno)
Uriel: GO FOR PURSUIT WHIP!!
(Ulysses' 3 big blades would generate 3 green energy blades as it surged towards Mortifyr)
Maruko: End this, Mortifyr.
(Mortifyr's avatar would emerge from its beyblade, a navy blue aura surrounding it)
Maruko: Let's try something I've been practicing for a while, shall we? Decimate WIPEOUT!!
Santino: Wait, what?
(Mortifyr would generate a menacing purple aura around itself, then it would grind on its Conquer tip as it thrust towards Ulysses)
(The two beyblades would collide, sending wind bursting throughout the stadium)
Maruko: Mortifyr, annihilate him!
Uriel: C'mon.... Ulysses... (He'd say, struggling against the incredibly strong winds until he was knocked off his feet)
Maruko: It's all over. NOW BREAK-
(Then, as soon as that happened, Ulysses burst, its parts flying out of the stadium)
Uriel: *Gasps*
Maruko: DRAT!!
Shinito: He lost...
Aria: At least he tried...
Bax: Can't really say I was surprised.
Aria: BAX! (She'd punch him in the shoulder)
Bax: Agh! Darn, I'm sorry, jeez!
Referee: Decimate Mortifyr, with a burst finish! By a score of 2 to 1, Maruko Zamasu and Santino Genji win!
(The crowd would erupt in cheers)
Hanami: Can you believe it, folks! Maruko came in clutch and defeated two bladers consecutively! However, both teams did an amazing job in this battle!
Zoro: A tragedy. Uriel and Akemi got so close.
Arenai: I'm generally surprised you're showing pity for those two puny weaklings. Especially your tactless little brother Uriel.
Zoro: Don't call him tactless. Because one day, I'm sure he'll become even better than you'll ever be.
Arenai: Zoro, just because he's your little brother doesn't mean you must lie to him. He'll never reach a margin of my power, and you know it.
Zoro: Arenai, why can't you just start acting positive, especially to people!
Arenai: There's no 'positive things' about that feral creature on the battlefield. (He'd point to Maruko, who was still standing at the stadium)
Iru: *Sigh* You two act like little children!
Arenai and Zoro: Hey! No we don't!
Maruko: Uriel Nomura, how your bey didn't break, I don't know. However, next time, your bey shall shatter at the hands of Maruko Zamasu, mark my words. (He'd say as he'd leave the stadium)
(Santino shrugged, then he also left the stadium as well)
Juudai: Don't worry, Uriel, he was a really skilled blader. And you stood up to him at full power. You should be impressed!
Uriel: I guess...
Juudai: C'mon, let's go meet up with the others.
Uriel: Ok...
(Uriel and Juudai would exit the colosseum)
[Outside of the colosseum]
(Uriel and Juudai met up with Shinito, Bax, and Aria)
Shinito: Hey Uriel and Juudai.
Uriel: Hey Shinito.
Juudai: Wazzup!
Aria: Hey guys. You two did great out there against people like Maruko and Santino!
Juudai: Thanks. We tried our best.
Bax: Apparently Uriel didn't!

Shinito: Uriel went absolutely bananas down there, along with Juudai!
Juudai: Yeah, I've seen him myself, he was doing as good as I was!
Bax: Didn't you two see? He was tensing up! He cracked under pressure. He was fine the first round, but the second round, he just started worrying all of a sudden! What was up with that, Uriel?
Uriel: (Tears began to well up in his eyes) Well, I tried to-
Bax: There's no excuses for that! You tanked big time, and if it weren't for you, Juudai may have won!
Juudai: Hey! That's a lie! Uriel was a big help in that battle!
Aria: Yeah- wait, why are you so mad at Uriel just for losing?! Don't you lose as well?
Bax: Yeah, but it's because my opponents are typically skilled! Maruko and Santino were merely stepping stones!
Aria: But that doesn't answer my first question: why are you so mad at Uriel in the first place just for losing?
Bax: Because I want to battle him in the finals! I want to crush him on live TV so the entire world can heed my presence. And maybe, just maybe, will my original group flock back to me, the legendary Snake Lord! (He'd stomp off to the dorm area)
Juudai: What a jerk. I thought he was cool.
Shinito: Yeah, right, Uriel?
Uriel: No. Thanks for supporting me, guys, but he's right. (He'd also head off to the dorm area)
Shinito: He seems sad... about something.
Juudai: Just give him some time. That loss against Maruko probably brought his spirits down, due to him being confident about him winning.
Shinito: I guess that makes sense...
Aria: I hope he gets better-
(Suddenly, Hanami would appear behind the group)
Shinito, Juudai, and Aria: GAH! (They'd all fall back in astonishment) Hanami?
Hanami: In the flesh!
Aria: What are you doing here?
Hanami: Well, I'm just here to tell you all the final match-up for this section of the tournament. So, for the final round... Aria and Nora Soranora will be pitted against Maruko Zamasu and Santino Genji!
Aria: *Gasps* I'm going against that beast?!
Shinito: Uh oh!
Hanami: Yeah, I kinda forgot to announce the matches while everyone was in the colosseum. Sorry!
Aria: Oh, no, you're fine! Hehe.
Hanami: Alright then, you all have fun with that information, and be sure to look forward to the match tomorrow, 'cause it's sure to be a hit! Hanami, out! (He'd run off)
Aria: W-Well, that's just... great!
Shinito: It'll be ok, Aria! We've got the rest of the day to train and prepare!
Juudai: Yeah! And besides, the worst he can throw at you is his new Decimate Wipeout, and we can train to help you endure even that at its strongest!
Shinito: And after Uriel and Juudai's battle against Maruko, I have tons of new information to go over!
Aria: Thanks guys. Let's go head over to Uriel's place, invite him for some practice, and then we'll go from there.

Juudai: Totally! Hanami told us in advance, plus, Maruko and Santino are the only ones who haven't battled yet!
Shinito: Is that so? Well, has anyone got any info on Santino or Maruko?
Uriel: Well, Santino's really really strong! He has 2 modes: 5 bladed mode and 10 bladed mode...
Bax: And he'll use either one depending on the situation he's in.
Aria: So that only means he's gonna use 10 bladed mode!
Bax: Huh? How do you know that?
Aria: Because, both Uriel and Juudai primarily use attacking strategies when they battle!

Uriel: Hey! Where in the world did you come from?
Aria: Were you stalking us?
Maruko: No, I-
Santino: Yeah, Maruko, were we stalking them?
Maruko: Shut it, Santino! Before I crush that pathetic piece of plastic you call a beyblade just as I did your spirit!
Santino: *gulps*
The Entire Group: *Gasps*
Juudai: Santino? I haven't seen you for long, but I thought you were on our side!
Bax: *Sigh* You really stooped to this loser's level, Santino?
Santino: Look, he forced me to-
Maruko: SHUT IT, SANTINO! And Bax, we'll see who's the loser once I destroy that pathetic imbecile's bey! (He'd point to Uriel, which would once again make the entire group gasp)
Uriel: *Gulp* Me?
Maruko: Yes, you, you ignorant fool!
Shinito: Wait, why Uriel?
Aria: Yeah, he didn't do anything wrong!
Maruko: Simple. Haven't you all noticed it? He's always so happy in situations which require anger. Take the Quantum Cup, for example. He lost second place. But was he sad? NO! Was he exiled? NO! Was he completely disowned of his status as a blader? NO! Instead, he wore that stupid happy-go-lucky expression he still does today. Everyone treated him the same, if not better. But I've got it all figured out. (He said, as a sadistic grin spread across his face and his eyes lit up with a purple shade) He obviously has something to work towards. He has something to be happy about. And I'll find, and extract that something. IF IT'S THE VERY LAST THING THAT I DO!
(The entire group would become frozen in terror of Maruko's deadly proclamation, except Uriel, who held his head up high and walked towards Maruko)
Uriel: Look, man. I don't know what's your problem. Every blader has something to fight for. Every blader has a goal to overcome. If you're one of those bladers that don't have a goal, then you might as well not blade. Because if you don't have a driving force that keeps you going, you'll fall behind all of the growing bladers. But don't try and take my driving force. Instead, get your own. Because right now... (His green battle aura would surround him with intense ferocity) Nothing's standing in the way of me and Ulysses becoming the best in the world! (Ulysses' avatar would emerge behind Uriel, his eyes shining green)
Maruko: Grr...
Shinito: Tell 'em Uriel!
Aria: Great job!
Juudai: That's the spirit!
Santino: Looks like he showed you, huh-
Maruko: EVERYONE, SHUT IT! Uriel Nomura, the pitiful words which arose from your mouth are the most foolish I've heard! You may not realize it, but you have something I need! Something that will raise me to a god's status in beyblade. So I ask that you simply give it to me. And if you don't comply... (He'd step closer to Uriel, a sadistic smile spread across his face) I'll simply have to take it by force-
???: Like you'll do such a thing!
(The entire group, along with Maruko, would gasp at the sight of the 3rd member of the Quantum 3, and also Uriel's brother, Zoro Nomura!)
The Entire Group: Zoro Nomura?!
Zoro: Yep. In the flesh!
Uriel: Hey! Big bro!
Zoro: 'Sup, Uriel! How's it been, little dude! (He'd say as him and Uriel both fist bumped each other)
Juudai: Wait, Zoro, what's someone like you doing in a place like this?
Maruko: Yeah. It seems almost as if he was completely uninvited.
Zoro: Maruko Zamasu. Your ways have changed, I see.
Maruko: You betrayed me, Zoro. As well as everyone else. And I'm here to annihilate you all for that.
Zoro: Look, all I ask is for you to leave my little brother, as well as everyone else, alone. Save it for the match.
Maruko: You have nothing to do with this, Zoro. This is between me and Uriel, none of your concern.
Zoro: So maybe you haven't changed. What beef do you have with my brother anyway?
Maruko: Once again, none of your concern. Now I'd advise for you to-
[Uriel and Juudai; Maruko and Santino, your match is about to begin! Head to the colosseum ASAP!]
Maruko: Well, Uriel Nomura, you've annoyed me enough. Say your final goodbyes to your pathetic bey before it's totally decimated. (He'd say, as he'd pass Uriel with a sinister grin, Santino following reluctantly behind)
Zoro: What nerve he has. Anyways, I'll be off now, just wanted to wish you luck before I noticed that gremlin bothering you all. Goodbye, you all! Uriel, Juudai, make sure to give that gremlin Maruko a proper beating! (He'd say, waving as he ran into the distance of the submarine)
Shinito: Well, that was... something.
Bax: Not like it doesn't happen to us everyday.
Aria: Yeah... but Maruko was just acting flat out mean...
Juudai: That may be true, but Uriel and I will show him what's what, right Uriel?
(The group turned to hear Uriel's reaction, but he wasn't there. A trail of steam lead to the colosseum)
Juudai: *Gasps* Oh right, the match! Right behind you, Uriel! (With that, she took off running towards the colosseum)
Bax: There she goes too.
Shinito: Man... I have a bad feeling about the outcome of this match... now Maruko's after Uriel and Ulysses.
Aria: Yeah. Maruko did seem kinda angry, and Uriel did make him pretty mad.
Bax: Ugh. How about you two stop being so apprehensive? Uriel and Juudai will be fine... I think.
Shinito: L-Let's just take our seats in the colosseum... (He said as the trio ventured into the colosseum)
[Inside the colosseum]
Hanami: Alrighty, boys and girls! Today here at the Super Submarine, we have another epic tag team on our hands!
(The entire crowd would cheer)
Hanami: Now let's get started, shall we?
(Steam would erupt from the entrance of the left corner)
In the red corner, we have two absolute Wildcards, Uriel Nomura and Juudai Akemi!
(Uriel and Juudai would emerge from the red corner)
(The crowd would go wild)
Juudai: Let's get reckless!
Uriel: Yeah! We're gonna win this!
Hanami: And in the blue corner, we have the black knights, Maruko Zamasu and Santino Genji!
(Maruko and Santino emerged from the blue corner)
(The crowd went completely silent)
Santino: Wow, Maruko, looks like we're really popular!
Maruko: Oh do shut your mouth, Genji. Once we obliterate our lousy opponents, the crowd will be screaming our- excuse me- my name!
Santino: You selfish brat...
(The two teams would head to the BeyStadium)
Maruko: Ready for your bey to be crushed to a pulp, Uriel?
Uriel: No way! Me and Juudai will both go super duper matrix and defeat you!
Juudai: Yeah!
Santino: Uriel, I'm sorry that it has to come to this, but... (He'd flip his bangs over) Your bey will meet it's very demise in this battle!
Uriel: Santino...
Santino (Mind): Uriel and Juudai, from where I'm standing, are all about attack. So I should obviously use 10-bladed mode! (He'd switch Salamander to it's 10-bladed mode)
Uriel (Mind): I'll use the strategy Shinito and the group decided on! We may be a little bit slower, but our attacks are even stronger than before, and
that's the extra firepower we need to win this battle! (He switched Ulysses to it's Smash mode)
Shinito: C'mon, Uriel and Juudai, win this...!
(All four bladers would ready their launchers)
Referee: First battle! Ready, and set!
Crowd: Three! Two! One!
Uriel, Juudai, Maruko and Santino: Go... shoot!
(All four of the bladers would pull off Quantum Shoots, afterwards, their beys would hit the floor with a large bang)
Hanami: And the race is on, bey fans! All bladers pulled off marvelous Quantum Shoots!
Uriel: Go in for the attack, Ulysses!
(Ulysses would go straight for Salamander, hitting it so hard that it got knocked back into the wall)
Santino: Agh...
Hanami: Ulysses goes straight to Salamander, knocking it into next week!
(Uriel would squint at Salamander's blades, confirming that Salamander was in its 10-bladed mode)
Uriel (Mind): Yes! They were right!
Juudai: Let's put on a show, eh, Joker! Go for Dash Shoot! (Juudai said, waving her hat around before pointing it towards Mortifyr)
(Joker would unleash one devastating blow on Mortifyr, then another, and then another, until it turned into an all out barrage, Mortifyr being unable to escape from Joker's brutal onslaught)
Maruko: Drat...
Hanami: And on the other side of the stadium, Joker is absolutely letting loose on Mortifyr, pestering it with several blows!
Shinito and Aria: Yeah! Go Uriel and Juudai!
Santino: ENOUGH! Try breaking through my Royal GUARD!
(Salamander would generate a pink energy barrier around it, and as Ulysses attacked Salamander, it got sent flying towards the other side of the stadium, rendering Ulysses' attack ineffective)
Uriel: W-What?
Hanami: Salamander counters Ulysses' attack with some sturdy defense!
Maruko: Stupid pest... Mortifyr, dispose of Joker!
(Mortifyr retaliated Joker's onslaught, sending it flying back)
Maruko: Hehe... wait a minute...
(Maruko would notice that Ulysses is in wide open space)
Maruko: HA! Mortifyr! Go in for the attack!
(Mortifyr would lunge towards Ulysses, who was still recovering from Salamander's rebuttal)
Uriel: Ulysses, get out of the way!
Juudai: Not so fast!
(Joker would grind it's Merge' performance tip hard on the stadium floor, then it would surge towards Mortifyr)
Juudai: Joker! It's time for a Merge COUNTER!
(Joker would speed into the middle of Ulysses and Mortifyr, clashing hard with Mortifyr
Maruko: Argh...
Uriel: Thanks, Juudai! I didn't have enough time to react to Mortifyr attacking me!
Juudai: No problemo! Just helping out a friend!
(The two would fist bump)
Santino: Go for the finishing blow, Salamander!
(Salamander would dash towards Ulysses)
Uriel: Let's end this, Ulysses!
(Ulysses then started speeding towards Salamander)
Uriel, Juudai, Maruko, and Santino: HAAAA!!!
(Mortifyr and Joker joined the mix, all four beyblades clashing in the middle of the stadium)
Hanami: My, oh my! Who will be the first to fall in this epic 4 way clash?!
(Suddenly, Ulysses, Joker, Mortifyr, and Salamander would get flung far back, with Mortifyr and Salamander being launched out of the stadium while Ulysses and Joker regained footing on the stadium floor)
Uriel and Santino: *Gasps*
Juudai: YEAH!
Maruko: Are you kidding?!
Referee: Ulysses and Joker, with a ring out finish! Point standings: one to nothing!
(The crowd would erupt in cheers)
Bax: I can't believe it! They really scored a point!
Shinito: This is amazing! They're in the lead now!
Hanami: I simply cannot believe it, beyfans! Just when we all though it was gonna end in a tie, Uriel and Juudai come in clutch for the win!
(In the stands, the Quantum 3 stood isolated from the rest of the crowd, impressed)
Zoro: Well I'll be! Uriel and Juudai could win this by more than what I expected!
Arenai: Don't get your hopes up. I'm pretty sure Maruko wasn't going full power.
Zoro: Why are you always so negative? Have some hope, man!
Arenai: *Sigh of defeat* Whatever.
Iru: *Sigh*
*Back to the stadium*
Maruko: That win was a pure fluke!
Uriel: Oh yeah? How so?
Juudai: Or is it just a case of saltiness?
Maruko: You two seem really confident! However, Uriel, your downfall starts in this next round. (An ominous black aura would surround Maruko as his eyes would change to completely purple) Now I'm determined to break Ulysses!
Uriel: *Gulp* I-I won't let that happen! Me and Ulysses have a bond that can never be severed, even in the face of calamity! (Uriel's green aura would surround him)
Santino (Mind): 10-bladed mode worked well, but we still got defeated. However, if I use 5-bladed mode, I'll be able to synchronize with Maruko's attacks, possibly giving us a major win! (He'd switch Salamander to 5-bladed mode)
Uriel (Mind): The smash mode strategy worked! However, I'm afraid that they've got my strategy all figured out now, so I'm going to use slash mode! (He'd switch Ulysses to Slash mode)
Referee: Second battle! Ready, and set!
Crowd: Three! Two! One!
Uriel, Juudai, Maruko, and Santino: Go... SHOOT!
(Every one of the bladers pulled off a Quantum Shoot, except Uriel, who only had a partial Quantum Shoot)
Uriel: *Gasp*
Bax: That idiot! He seriously blew his launch?
Aria: Hush, Bax! Uriel's bey's fate is literally within Maruko's hands now! If you were him, you'd probably not even pull off a proper launch!
Bax: Hey! I would too!
Shinito: Uriel's getting nervous... that's not good, especially at a time like this!
Maruko: How foolish! You really tanked your launch? Pathetic. Mortifyr, go for Decimate Barrage on Ulysses!
(Mortifyr would lock on Ulysses, ripping up the stadium with an immensely fast and powerful barrage of attacks on Ulysses)
Uriel: C'mon! Get out of there!
Hanami: Maruko's getting serious, now! Mortifyr traps Ulysses in a never-ending loop of crazy strong attacks! What will Ulysses do?
Santino: Maruko! Let's both go for Uriel, then we'll go for Juudai once we're finished with Uriel.
Juudai: Are you kidding? Targeting Uriel?
Maruko: Fine by me. As long as I get to break the one thing Uriel holds most dear to his heart!
Santino: Salamander! Go in for the attack!
(Salamander would gain an intense speed boost, closing in on Ulysses)
Hanami: Oh? Now Ulysses is being targeted by both Maruko and Santino! Uriel is in big trouble!
Shinito: This isn't looking too good for Uriel!
Aria: ULYSSES! GET OUT OF THERE!
Uriel: *Gulp*
Juudai: Hey! Don't forget about me!
(Joker would zoom towards Salamander)
Juudai: Let's go for Arcane SHOCKER!! (She said, pumping both her hands out)
(Joker would lean on its Merge' performance tip, then it would crash into Salamander, full force! It would hit Salamander so hard that it crashed into the wall)
Santino: Not this again...
Uriel: Thanks again, Juudai! I really don't know what I would do without you saving my bacon!
Juudai: Heh, no problemo! Again.
Hanami: Wowie zowie! Just as Ulysses looks done for, Joker swoops in and saves the day!
Uriel: Alright Ulysses, I'm starting to get pumped! Let's go for a Clash COUNTER!
Maruko: Oh? You're approaching me?
(Ulysses would grind on its Clash performance tip, then it would launch itself towards Mortifyr, launching Mortifyr high up into the air)
Maruko: *Gasps*
Uriel: Heh! How do ya like that!
Hanami: Ulysses decides to go full force and knocks Mortifyr six ways to sunday!
Santino: I've had enough of being knocked around for today! Salamander, go for Royal UPPER!
(Salamander would surge towards Joker, then it would forcefully hurl Joker upwards, flinging it all the way to the other side of the stadium)
Juudai: *Gasps*
Santino: Heh!
(Joker would gracefully land on the other side of the stadium, with an insane increase in speed)
Santino: Wait- what?!
Juudai: Haha! I think you forgot that once my Merge' tip's rubber collides with the stadium floor, it gains a major increase in speed!
Santino: Argh...
Hanami: Joker somehow manages to increase it's speed as it landed!
Juudai: Now, let's end this with a bang, shall we? JOKER!!
(Joker's avatar would burst from its beyblade, a purple aura surrounding it)
Juudai: ARCANE FLASH!!!
(Joker would ride up into the left velocity island, pick up speed, and then launch itself straight towards Salamader)
Santino: We can't let them win! Not now! SALAMANDER!
(Salamander's avatar would emerge from its beyblade, a magenta aura surrounding it)
Santino: WRAP IT UP WITH ROYAL SMASH!
(Joker and Salamander would finally collide, sending massive shockwaves throughout the stadium)
Hanami: Oh my gosh, Bey Fans! Now Joker and Salamander are locked in an epic clash! Who will win this battle, though?!
Shinito: This... is intense!
Aria: Juudai seems like she has this in the bag!
Bax: DO IT!!
Juudai and Santino: HAAAAAA!!!
(The two beyblades would collide some more, not one of them giving an inch)
Juudai: NOW BURST!
(Joker would swoop in under Salamander, catching Salamander off guard as it burst, it's parts flying out of the stadium)
Santino: *Gasps*
Juudai: Nailed it!
Hanami: Finally, Joker lands a fatal blow on Salamander, causing it to burst!
Shinito: I knew she could do it! Way to go, Juudai!
Aria: Yeah! Only one more left!
(Meanwhile, at the stadium, Mortifyr was still high up in the air from Ulysses' severe attack)
Maruko: And now it's time for your long awaited demise... DESCENDING DECIMATION!
(Mortifyr would generate an ominous purple aura around itself, then it picked up speed, soon zooming down towards Ulysses)
Shinito: Now, Ulysses really has to be cautious!
Uriel: Not yet! Ulysses, get out of the way!
Juudai: I knew in this battle we would have to take some risks!
(Joker would speed towards the exact spot that Mortifyr was about to use Descending Decimation on)
Juudai: NOW! GO FOR ARCANE VERDICT!
Uriel: JUUDAI, NO!
Maruko: You FOOL!
(Mortifyr would finally reach the stadium, impacting Joker so hard that a sonic boom is sent throughout the entire stadium)
Juudai: C'mon... JOKER!
Maruko: It's a fifty-fifty chance... Mortifyr, endure!!
(The two beys would be locked in an epic collision, bursts of wind being sent everywhere)
Maruko: And now you shall BURST!
(Mortifyr would hammer down on Joker, bursting it as its parts got scattered everywhere)
Juudai: *Gasps*
Shinito: No... Juudai...
Aria: I'm starting to have a bad feeling about this...
Hanami: Holy moley! Through the intense collision, Mortifyr pulls off a burst finish on Joker!
Maruko: Hah! I predicted it before it even happened!
Juudai: But- but how?
Maruko: Simple. After you used Arcane Flash, and after Joker defeated Salamander in that collision, your stamina was absolutely beat! Add that to the monstrous power of Descending Decimation, and that's a recipe for a burst finish!
Uriel: So that was all planned?
Maruko: No, you fool, that wasn't planned at all.
Juudai: Oh... well, Uriel, win this for me, ok?
Uriel: I-I'll try, but I-I don't think I can...
(Suddenly, Uriel would enter the avatar dimension)
Uriel: Ulysses...
Ulysses: Uriel, what do you think you can't do?
Uriel: *Sigh* I-I don't think I can win this. Maruko's really determined to destroy you...
Ulysses: Who's this 'Maruko'?
Uriel: O-Oh, it's not important. But what if I lose? All of my friends are counting on me to win this...
Ulysses: Uriel, put the thought of losing out of your head. Instead, pour all of your thoughts and emotions into me. As for 'Maruko' trying to destroy me, do not worry, as of now, I will be fine. And if you lose, know that at least you tried your hardest. Now go, Uriel!
Uriel: You betcha, Ulysses! I know I can count on you!
(Uriel would exit the avatar realm)
Uriel: *Deep breath* ULYSSES, I'M COUNTING ON YOUUU!!!
(Ulysses' avatar would erupt from its beyblade, and as it ascended, a blazing green aura would surround it like an inferno)
Uriel: GO FOR PURSUIT WHIP!!
(Ulysses' 3 big blades would generate 3 green energy blades as it surged towards Mortifyr)
Maruko: End this, Mortifyr.
(Mortifyr's avatar would emerge from its beyblade, a navy blue aura surrounding it)
Maruko: Let's try something I've been practicing for a while, shall we? Decimate WIPEOUT!!
Santino: Wait, what?
(Mortifyr would generate a menacing purple aura around itself, then it would grind on its Conquer tip as it thrust towards Ulysses)
(The two beyblades would collide, sending wind bursting throughout the stadium)
Maruko: Mortifyr, annihilate him!
Uriel: C'mon.... Ulysses... (He'd say, struggling against the incredibly strong winds until he was knocked off his feet)
Maruko: It's all over. NOW BREAK-
(Then, as soon as that happened, Ulysses burst, its parts flying out of the stadium)
Uriel: *Gasps*
Maruko: DRAT!!
Shinito: He lost...
Aria: At least he tried...
Bax: Can't really say I was surprised.
Aria: BAX! (She'd punch him in the shoulder)
Bax: Agh! Darn, I'm sorry, jeez!
Referee: Decimate Mortifyr, with a burst finish! By a score of 2 to 1, Maruko Zamasu and Santino Genji win!
(The crowd would erupt in cheers)
Hanami: Can you believe it, folks! Maruko came in clutch and defeated two bladers consecutively! However, both teams did an amazing job in this battle!
Zoro: A tragedy. Uriel and Akemi got so close.
Arenai: I'm generally surprised you're showing pity for those two puny weaklings. Especially your tactless little brother Uriel.
Zoro: Don't call him tactless. Because one day, I'm sure he'll become even better than you'll ever be.
Arenai: Zoro, just because he's your little brother doesn't mean you must lie to him. He'll never reach a margin of my power, and you know it.
Zoro: Arenai, why can't you just start acting positive, especially to people!
Arenai: There's no 'positive things' about that feral creature on the battlefield. (He'd point to Maruko, who was still standing at the stadium)
Iru: *Sigh* You two act like little children!
Arenai and Zoro: Hey! No we don't!
Maruko: Uriel Nomura, how your bey didn't break, I don't know. However, next time, your bey shall shatter at the hands of Maruko Zamasu, mark my words. (He'd say as he'd leave the stadium)
(Santino shrugged, then he also left the stadium as well)
Juudai: Don't worry, Uriel, he was a really skilled blader. And you stood up to him at full power. You should be impressed!
Uriel: I guess...
Juudai: C'mon, let's go meet up with the others.
Uriel: Ok...
(Uriel and Juudai would exit the colosseum)
[Outside of the colosseum]
(Uriel and Juudai met up with Shinito, Bax, and Aria)
Shinito: Hey Uriel and Juudai.
Uriel: Hey Shinito.
Juudai: Wazzup!
Aria: Hey guys. You two did great out there against people like Maruko and Santino!
Juudai: Thanks. We tried our best.
Bax: Apparently Uriel didn't!

Shinito: Uriel went absolutely bananas down there, along with Juudai!
Juudai: Yeah, I've seen him myself, he was doing as good as I was!
Bax: Didn't you two see? He was tensing up! He cracked under pressure. He was fine the first round, but the second round, he just started worrying all of a sudden! What was up with that, Uriel?
Uriel: (Tears began to well up in his eyes) Well, I tried to-
Bax: There's no excuses for that! You tanked big time, and if it weren't for you, Juudai may have won!
Juudai: Hey! That's a lie! Uriel was a big help in that battle!
Aria: Yeah- wait, why are you so mad at Uriel just for losing?! Don't you lose as well?
Bax: Yeah, but it's because my opponents are typically skilled! Maruko and Santino were merely stepping stones!
Aria: But that doesn't answer my first question: why are you so mad at Uriel in the first place just for losing?
Bax: Because I want to battle him in the finals! I want to crush him on live TV so the entire world can heed my presence. And maybe, just maybe, will my original group flock back to me, the legendary Snake Lord! (He'd stomp off to the dorm area)
Juudai: What a jerk. I thought he was cool.
Shinito: Yeah, right, Uriel?
Uriel: No. Thanks for supporting me, guys, but he's right. (He'd also head off to the dorm area)
Shinito: He seems sad... about something.
Juudai: Just give him some time. That loss against Maruko probably brought his spirits down, due to him being confident about him winning.
Shinito: I guess that makes sense...
Aria: I hope he gets better-
(Suddenly, Hanami would appear behind the group)
Shinito, Juudai, and Aria: GAH! (They'd all fall back in astonishment) Hanami?
Hanami: In the flesh!
Aria: What are you doing here?
Hanami: Well, I'm just here to tell you all the final match-up for this section of the tournament. So, for the final round... Aria and Nora Soranora will be pitted against Maruko Zamasu and Santino Genji!
Aria: *Gasps* I'm going against that beast?!
Shinito: Uh oh!
Hanami: Yeah, I kinda forgot to announce the matches while everyone was in the colosseum. Sorry!
Aria: Oh, no, you're fine! Hehe.
Hanami: Alright then, you all have fun with that information, and be sure to look forward to the match tomorrow, 'cause it's sure to be a hit! Hanami, out! (He'd run off)
Aria: W-Well, that's just... great!
Shinito: It'll be ok, Aria! We've got the rest of the day to train and prepare!
Juudai: Yeah! And besides, the worst he can throw at you is his new Decimate Wipeout, and we can train to help you endure even that at its strongest!
Shinito: And after Uriel and Juudai's battle against Maruko, I have tons of new information to go over!
Aria: Thanks guys. Let's go head over to Uriel's place, invite him for some practice, and then we'll go from there.
Shinito: Got it!
(They'd head off into the dorm area)
(Meanwhile, in Uriel's bedroom/dormroom)
Uriel: I talked all big, yet I still lost... (He said, placing his beyblade on his nightstand)
(He'd crawl into his bed)
Uriel: Maruko said something about me having something to work for...

Shinito: Ok.... Uriel and Juudai, are you two sure you'll be going against Maruko and Santino?
Juudai: Totally! Hanami told us in advance, plus, Maruko and Santino are the only ones who haven't battled yet!
Shinito: Is that so? Well, has anyone got any info on Santino or Maruko?
Uriel: Well, Santino's really really strong! He has 2 modes: 5 bladed mode and 10 bladed mode...
Bax: And he'll use either one depending on the situation he's in.
Aria: So that only means he's gonna use 10 bladed mode!
Bax: Huh? How do you know that?
Aria: Because, both Uriel and Juudai primarily use attacking strategies when they battle!
Uriel and Juudai: True!
Shinito: Alright, so Uriel, you should use your smash mode to combat the heavy defense Salamander has!
Uriel: Got it! Santino's not even gonna know what hit him!
Shinito: How about Maruko? I heard he was pretty mysterious...
Uriel: Yeah, Maruko had only participated in one battle until now-
Maruko: What about me?
*The group would turn around to see Maruko and Santino*
The Entire Group: *Gasps*
Uriel: Hey! Where in the world did you come from?
Aria: Were you stalking us?
Maruko: No, I-
Santino: Yeah, Maruko, were we stalking them?
Maruko: Shut it, Santino! Before I crush that pathetic piece of plastic you call a beyblade just as I did your spirit!
Santino: *gulps*
The Entire Group: *Gasps*
Juudai: Santino? I haven't seen you for long, but I thought you were on our side!
Bax: *Sigh* You really stooped to this loser's level, Santino?
Santino: Look, he forced me to-
Maruko: SHUT IT, SANTINO! And Bax, we'll see who's the loser once I destroy that pathetic imbecile's bey! (He'd point to Uriel, which would once again make the entire group gasp)
Uriel: *Gulp* Me?
Maruko: Yes, you, you ignorant fool!
Shinito: Wait, why Uriel?
Aria: Yeah, he didn't do anything wrong!
Maruko: Simple. Haven't you all noticed it? He's always so happy in situations which require anger. Take the Quantum Cup, for example. He lost second place. But was he sad? NO! Was he exiled? NO! Was he completely disowned of his status as a blader? NO! Instead, he wore that stupid happy-go-lucky expression he still does today. Everyone treated him the same, if not better. But I've got it all figured out. (He said, as a sadistic grin spread across his face and his eyes lit up with a purple shade) He obviously has something to work towards. He has something to be happy about. And I'll find, and extract that something. IF IT'S THE VERY LAST THING THAT I DO!
(The entire group would become frozen in terror of Maruko's deadly proclamation, except Uriel, who held his head up high and walked towards Maruko)
Uriel: Look, man. I don't know what's your problem. Every blader has something to fight for. Every blader has a goal to overcome. If you're one of those bladers that don't have a goal, then you might as well not blade. Because if you don't have a driving force that keeps you going, you'll fall behind all of the growing bladers. But don't try and take my driving force. Instead, get your own. Because right now... (His green battle aura would surround him with intense ferocity) Nothing's standing in the way of me and Ulysses becoming the best in the world! (Ulysses' avatar would emerge behind Uriel, his eyes shining green)
Maruko: Grr...
Shinito: Tell 'em Uriel!
Aria: Great job!
Juudai: That's the spirit!
Santino: Looks like he showed you, huh-
Maruko: EVERYONE, SHUT IT! Uriel Nomura, the pitiful words which arose from your mouth are the most foolish I've heard! You may not realize it, but you have something I need! Something that will raise me to a god's status in beyblade. So I ask that you simply give it to me. And if you don't comply... (He'd step closer to Uriel, a sadistic smile spread across his face) I'll simply have to take it by force-

(The entire group, along with Maruko, would gasp at the sight of the 3rd member of the Quantum 3, and also Uriel's brother, Zoro Nomura!)
The Entire Group: Zoro Nomura?!
Zoro: Yep. In the flesh!
Uriel: Hey! Big bro!
Zoro: 'Sup, Uriel! How's it been, little dude! (He'd say as him and Uriel both fist bumped each other)
Juudai: Wait, Zoro, what's someone like you doing in a place like this?
Maruko: Yeah. It seems almost as if he was completely uninvited.
Zoro: Maruko Zamasu. Your ways have changed, I see.
Maruko: You betrayed me, Zoro. As well as everyone else. And I'm here to annihilate you all for that.
Zoro: Look, all I ask is for you to leave my little brother, as well as everyone else, alone. Save it for the match.
Maruko: You have nothing to do with this, Zoro. This is between me and Uriel, none of your concern.
Zoro: So maybe you haven't changed. What beef do you have with my brother anyway?
Maruko: Once again, none of your concern. Now I'd advise for you to-
[Uriel and Juudai; Maruko and Santino, your match is about to begin! Head to the colosseum ASAP!]
Maruko: Well, Uriel Nomura, you've annoyed me enough. Say your final goodbyes to your pathetic bey before it's totally decimated. (He'd say, as he'd pass Uriel with a sinister grin, Santino following reluctantly behind)
Zoro: What nerve he has. Anyways, I'll be off now, just wanted to wish you luck before I noticed that gremlin bothering you all. Goodbye, you all! Uriel, Juudai, make sure to give that gremlin Maruko a proper beating! (He'd say, waving as he ran into the distance of the submarine)
Shinito: Well, that was... something.
Bax: Not like it doesn't happen to us everyday.
Aria: Yeah... but Maruko was just acting flat out mean...
Juudai: That may be true, but Uriel and I will show him what's what, right Uriel?
(The group turned to hear Uriel's reaction, but he wasn't there. A trail of steam lead to the colosseum)
Juudai: *Gasps* Oh right, the match! Right behind you, Uriel! (With that, she took off running towards the colosseum)
Bax: There she goes too.
Shinito: Man... I have a bad feeling about the outcome of this match... now Maruko's after Uriel and Ulysses.
Aria: Yeah. Maruko did seem kinda angry, and Uriel did make him pretty mad.
Bax: Ugh. How about you two stop being so apprehensive? Uriel and Juudai will be fine... I think.
Shinito: L-Let's just take our seats in the colosseum... (He said as the trio ventured into the colosseum)
[Inside the colosseum]
Hanami: Alrighty, boys and girls! Today here at the Super Submarine, we have another epic tag team on our hands!
(The entire crowd would cheer)
Hanami: Now let's get started, shall we?
(Steam would erupt from the entrance of the left corner)
In the red corner, we have two absolute Wildcards, Uriel Nomura and Juudai Akemi!
(Uriel and Juudai would emerge from the red corner)
(The crowd would go wild)
Juudai: Let's get reckless!
Uriel: Yeah! We're gonna win this!
Hanami: And in the blue corner, we have the black knights, Maruko Zamasu and Santino Genji!
(Maruko and Santino emerged from the blue corner)
(The crowd went completely silent)
Santino: Wow, Maruko, looks like we're really popular!
Maruko: Oh do shut your mouth, Genji. Once we obliterate our lousy opponents, the crowd will be screaming our- excuse me- my name!
Santino: You selfish brat...
(The two teams would head to the BeyStadium)
Maruko: Ready for your bey to be crushed to a pulp, Uriel?
Uriel: No way! Me and Juudai will both go super duper matrix and defeat you!
Juudai: Yeah!
Santino: Uriel, I'm sorry that it has to come to this, but... (He'd flip his bangs over) Your bey will meet it's very demise in this battle!
Uriel: Santino...
Santino (Mind): Uriel and Juudai, from where I'm standing, are all about attack. So I should obviously use 10-bladed mode! (He'd switch Salamander to it's 10-bladed mode)
Uriel (Mind): I'll use the strategy Shinito and the group decided on! We may be a little bit slower, but our attacks are even stronger than before, and
that's the extra firepower we need to win this battle! (He switched Ulysses to it's Smash mode)
Shinito: C'mon, Uriel and Juudai, win this...!
(All four bladers would ready their launchers)
Referee: First battle! Ready, and set!
Crowd: Three! Two! One!
Uriel, Juudai, Maruko and Santino: Go... shoot!
(All four of the bladers would pull off Quantum Shoots, afterwards, their beys would hit the floor with a large bang)
Hanami: And the race is on, bey fans! All bladers pulled off marvelous Quantum Shoots!
Uriel: Go in for the attack, Ulysses!
(Ulysses would go straight for Salamander, hitting it so hard that it got knocked back into the wall)
Santino: Agh...
Hanami: Ulysses goes straight to Salamander, knocking it into next week!
(Uriel would squint at Salamander's blades, confirming that Salamander was in its 10-bladed mode)
Uriel (Mind): Yes! They were right!
Juudai: Let's put on a show, eh, Joker! Go for Dash Shoot! (Juudai said, waving her hat around before pointing it towards Mortifyr)
(Joker would unleash one devastating blow on Mortifyr, then another, and then another, until it turned into an all out barrage, Mortifyr being unable to escape from Joker's brutal onslaught)
Maruko: Drat...
Hanami: And on the other side of the stadium, Joker is absolutely letting loose on Mortifyr, pestering it with several blows!
Shinito and Aria: Yeah! Go Uriel and Juudai!
Santino: ENOUGH! Try breaking through my Royal GUARD!
(Salamander would generate a pink energy barrier around it, and as Ulysses attacked Salamander, it got sent flying towards the other side of the stadium, rendering Ulysses' attack ineffective)
Uriel: W-What?
Hanami: Salamander counters Ulysses' attack with some sturdy defense!
Maruko: Stupid pest... Mortifyr, dispose of Joker!
(Mortifyr retaliated Joker's onslaught, sending it flying back)
Maruko: Hehe... wait a minute...
(Maruko would notice that Ulysses is in wide open space)
Maruko: HA! Mortifyr! Go in for the attack!
(Mortifyr would lunge towards Ulysses, who was still recovering from Salamander's rebuttal)
Uriel: Ulysses, get out of the way!
Juudai: Not so fast!
(Joker would grind it's Merge' performance tip hard on the stadium floor, then it would surge towards Mortifyr)
Juudai: Joker! It's time for a Merge COUNTER!
(Joker would speed into the middle of Ulysses and Mortifyr, clashing hard with Mortifyr
Maruko: Argh...
Uriel: Thanks, Juudai! I didn't have enough time to react to Mortifyr attacking me!
Juudai: No problemo! Just helping out a friend!
(The two would fist bump)
Santino: Go for the finishing blow, Salamander!
(Salamander would dash towards Ulysses)
Uriel: Let's end this, Ulysses!
(Ulysses then started speeding towards Salamander)
Uriel, Juudai, Maruko, and Santino: HAAAA!!!
(Mortifyr and Joker joined the mix, all four beyblades clashing in the middle of the stadium)
Hanami: My, oh my! Who will be the first to fall in this epic 4 way clash?!
(Suddenly, Ulysses, Joker, Mortifyr, and Salamander would get flung far back, with Mortifyr and Salamander being launched out of the stadium while Ulysses and Joker regained footing on the stadium floor)
Uriel and Santino: *Gasps*
Juudai: YEAH!
Maruko: Are you kidding?!
Referee: Ulysses and Joker, with a ring out finish! Point standings: one to nothing!
(The crowd would erupt in cheers)
Bax: I can't believe it! They really scored a point!
Shinito: This is amazing! They're in the lead now!
Hanami: I simply cannot believe it, beyfans! Just when we all though it was gonna end in a tie, Uriel and Juudai come in clutch for the win!
(In the stands, the Quantum 3 stood isolated from the rest of the crowd, impressed)
Zoro: Well I'll be! Uriel and Juudai could win this by more than what I expected!
Arenai: Don't get your hopes up. I'm pretty sure Maruko wasn't going full power.
Zoro: Why are you always so negative? Have some hope, man!
Arenai: *Sigh of defeat* Whatever.
Iru: *Sigh*
*Back to the stadium*
Maruko: That win was a pure fluke!
Uriel: Oh yeah? How so?
Juudai: Or is it just a case of saltiness?
Maruko: You two seem really confident! However, Uriel, your downfall starts in this next round. (An ominous black aura would surround Maruko as his eyes would change to completely purple) Now I'm determined to break Ulysses!
Uriel: *Gulp* I-I won't let that happen! Me and Ulysses have a bond that can never be severed, even in the face of calamity! (Uriel's green aura would surround him)
Santino (Mind): 10-bladed mode worked well, but we still got defeated. However, if I use 5-bladed mode, I'll be able to synchronize with Maruko's attacks, possibly giving us a major win! (He'd switch Salamander to 5-bladed mode)
Uriel (Mind): The smash mode strategy worked! However, I'm afraid that they've got my strategy all figured out now, so I'm going to use slash mode! (He'd switch Ulysses to Slash mode)
Referee: Second battle! Ready, and set!
Crowd: Three! Two! One!
Uriel, Juudai, Maruko, and Santino: Go... SHOOT!
(Every one of the bladers pulled off a Quantum Shoot, except Uriel, who only had a partial Quantum Shoot)
Uriel: *Gasp*
Bax: That idiot! He seriously blew his launch?
Aria: Hush, Bax! Uriel's bey's fate is literally within Maruko's hands now! If you were him, you'd probably not even pull off a proper launch!
Bax: Hey! I would too!
Shinito: Uriel's getting nervous... that's not good, especially at a time like this!
Maruko: How foolish! You really tanked your launch? Pathetic. Mortifyr, go for Decimate Barrage on Ulysses!
(Mortifyr would lock on Ulysses, ripping up the stadium with an immensely fast and powerful barrage of attacks on Ulysses)
Uriel: C'mon! Get out of there!
Hanami: Maruko's getting serious, now! Mortifyr traps Ulysses in a never-ending loop of crazy strong attacks! What will Ulysses do?
Santino: Maruko! Let's both go for Uriel, then we'll go for Juudai once we're finished with Uriel.
Juudai: Are you kidding? Targeting Uriel?
Maruko: Fine by me. As long as I get to break the one thing Uriel holds most dear to his heart!
Santino: Salamander! Go in for the attack!
(Salamander would gain an intense speed boost, closing in on Ulysses)
Hanami: Oh? Now Ulysses is being targeted by both Maruko and Santino! Uriel is in big trouble!
Shinito: This isn't looking too good for Uriel!
Aria: ULYSSES! GET OUT OF THERE!
Uriel: *Gulp*
Juudai: Hey! Don't forget about me!
(Joker would zoom towards Salamander)
Juudai: Let's go for Arcane SHOCKER!! (She said, pumping both her hands out)
(Joker would lean on its Merge' performance tip, then it would crash into Salamander, full force! It would hit Salamander so hard that it crashed into the wall)
Santino: Not this again...
Uriel: Thanks again, Juudai! I really don't know what I would do without you saving my bacon!
Juudai: Heh, no problemo! Again.
Hanami: Wowie zowie! Just as Ulysses looks done for, Joker swoops in and saves the day!
Uriel: Alright Ulysses, I'm starting to get pumped! Let's go for a Clash COUNTER!
Maruko: Oh? You're approaching me?
(Ulysses would grind on its Clash performance tip, then it would launch itself towards Mortifyr, launching Mortifyr high up into the air)
Maruko: *Gasps*
Uriel: Heh! How do ya like that!
Hanami: Ulysses decides to go full force and knocks Mortifyr six ways to sunday!
Santino: I've had enough of being knocked around for today! Salamander, go for Royal UPPER!
(Salamander would surge towards Joker, then it would forcefully hurl Joker upwards, flinging it all the way to the other side of the stadium)
Juudai: *Gasps*
Santino: Heh!
(Joker would gracefully land on the other side of the stadium, with an insane increase in speed)
Santino: Wait- what?!
Juudai: Haha! I think you forgot that once my Merge' tip's rubber collides with the stadium floor, it gains a major increase in speed!
Santino: Argh...
Hanami: Joker somehow manages to increase it's speed as it landed!
Juudai: Now, let's end this with a bang, shall we? JOKER!!
(Joker's avatar would burst from its beyblade, a purple aura surrounding it)
Juudai: ARCANE FLASH!!!
(Joker would ride up into the left velocity island, pick up speed, and then launch itself straight towards Salamader)
Santino: We can't let them win! Not now! SALAMANDER!
(Salamander's avatar would emerge from its beyblade, a magenta aura surrounding it)
Santino: WRAP IT UP WITH ROYAL SMASH!
(Joker and Salamander would finally collide, sending massive shockwaves throughout the stadium)
Hanami: Oh my gosh, Bey Fans! Now Joker and Salamander are locked in an epic clash! Who will win this battle, though?!
Shinito: This... is intense!
Aria: Juudai seems like she has this in the bag!
Bax: DO IT!!
Juudai and Santino: HAAAAAA!!!
(The two beyblades would collide some more, not one of them giving an inch)
Juudai: NOW BURST!
(Joker would swoop in under Salamander, catching Salamander off guard as it burst, it's parts flying out of the stadium)
Santino: *Gasps*
Juudai: Nailed it!
Hanami: Finally, Joker lands a fatal blow on Salamander, causing it to burst!
Shinito: I knew she could do it! Way to go, Juudai!
Aria: Yeah! Only one more left!
(Meanwhile, at the stadium, Mortifyr was still high up in the air from Ulysses' severe attack)
Maruko: And now it's time for your long awaited demise... DESCENDING DECIMATION!
(Mortifyr would generate an ominous purple aura around itself, then it picked up speed, soon zooming down towards Ulysses)
Shinito: Now, Ulysses really has to be cautious!
Uriel: Not yet! Ulysses, get out of the way!
Juudai: I knew in this battle we would have to take some risks!
(Joker would speed towards the exact spot that Mortifyr was about to use Descending Decimation on)
Juudai: NOW! GO FOR ARCANE VERDICT!
Uriel: JUUDAI, NO!
Maruko: You FOOL!
(Mortifyr would finally reach the stadium, impacting Joker so hard that a sonic boom is sent throughout the entire stadium)
Juudai: C'mon... JOKER!
Maruko: It's a fifty-fifty chance... Mortifyr, endure!!
(The two beys would be locked in an epic collision, bursts of wind being sent everywhere)
Maruko: And now you shall BURST!
(Mortifyr would hammer down on Joker, bursting it as its parts got scattered everywhere)
Juudai: *Gasps*
Shinito: No... Juudai...
Aria: I'm starting to have a bad feeling about this...
Hanami: Holy moley! Through the intense collision, Mortifyr pulls off a burst finish on Joker!
Maruko: Hah! I predicted it before it even happened!
Juudai: But- but how?
Maruko: Simple. After you used Arcane Flash, and after Joker defeated Salamander in that collision, your stamina was absolutely beat! Add that to the monstrous power of Descending Decimation, and that's a recipe for a burst finish!
Uriel: So that was all planned?
Maruko: No, you fool, that wasn't planned at all.
Juudai: Oh... well, Uriel, win this for me, ok?
Uriel: I-I'll try, but I-I don't think I can...
(Suddenly, Uriel would enter the avatar dimension)
Uriel: Ulysses...
Ulysses: Uriel, what do you think you can't do?
Uriel: *Sigh* I-I don't think I can win this. Maruko's really determined to destroy you...
Ulysses: Who's this 'Maruko'?
Uriel: O-Oh, it's not important. But what if I lose? All of my friends are counting on me to win this...
Ulysses: Uriel, put the thought of losing out of your head. Instead, pour all of your thoughts and emotions into me. As for 'Maruko' trying to destroy me, do not worry, as of now, I will be fine. And if you lose, know that at least you tried your hardest. Now go, Uriel!
Uriel: You betcha, Ulysses! I know I can count on you!
(Uriel would exit the avatar realm)
Uriel: *Deep breath* ULYSSES, I'M COUNTING ON YOUUU!!!
(Ulysses' avatar would erupt from its beyblade, and as it ascended, a blazing green aura would surround it like an inferno)
Uriel: GO FOR PURSUIT WHIP!!
(Ulysses' 3 big blades would generate 3 green energy blades as it surged towards Mortifyr)
Maruko: End this, Mortifyr.
(Mortifyr's avatar would emerge from its beyblade, a navy blue aura surrounding it)
Maruko: Let's try something I've been practicing for a while, shall we? Decimate WIPEOUT!!
Santino: Wait, what?
(Mortifyr would generate a menacing purple aura around itself, then it would grind on its Conquer tip as it thrust towards Ulysses)
(The two beyblades would collide, sending wind bursting throughout the stadium)
Maruko: Mortifyr, annihilate him!
Uriel: C'mon.... Ulysses... (He'd say, struggling against the incredibly strong winds until he was knocked off his feet)
Maruko: It's all over. NOW BREAK-
(Then, as soon as that happened, Ulysses burst, its parts flying out of the stadium)
Uriel: *Gasps*
Maruko: DRAT!!
Shinito: He lost...
Aria: At least he tried...
Bax: Can't really say I was surprised.
Aria: BAX! (She'd punch him in the shoulder)
Bax: Agh! Darn, I'm sorry, jeez!
Referee: Decimate Mortifyr, with a burst finish! By a score of 2 to 1, Maruko Zamasu and Santino Genji win!
(The crowd would erupt in cheers)
Hanami: Can you believe it, folks! Maruko came in clutch and defeated two bladers consecutively! However, both teams did an amazing job in this battle!
Zoro: A tragedy. Uriel and Akemi got so close.
Arenai: I'm generally surprised you're showing pity for those two puny weaklings. Especially your tactless little brother Uriel.
Zoro: Don't call him tactless. Because one day, I'm sure he'll become even better than you'll ever be.
Arenai: Zoro, just because he's your little brother doesn't mean you must lie to him. He'll never reach a margin of my power, and you know it.
Zoro: Arenai, why can't you just start acting positive, especially to people!
Arenai: There's no 'positive things' about that feral creature on the battlefield. (He'd point to Maruko, who was still standing at the stadium)
Iru: *Sigh* You two act like little children!
Arenai and Zoro: Hey! No we don't!
Maruko: Uriel Nomura, how your bey didn't break, I don't know. However, next time, your bey shall shatter at the hands of Maruko Zamasu, mark my words. (He'd say as he'd leave the stadium)
(Santino shrugged, then he also left the stadium as well)
Juudai: Don't worry, Uriel, he was a really skilled blader. And you stood up to him at full power. You should be impressed!
Uriel: I guess...
Juudai: C'mon, let's go meet up with the others.
Uriel: Ok...
(Uriel and Juudai would exit the colosseum)
[Outside of the colosseum]
(Uriel and Juudai met up with Shinito, Bax, and Aria)
Shinito: Hey Uriel and Juudai.
Uriel: Hey Shinito.
Juudai: Wazzup!
Aria: Hey guys. You two did great out there against people like Maruko and Santino!
Juudai: Thanks. We tried our best.
Bax: Apparently Uriel didn't!

Uriel: (Tears began to well up in his eyes) Well, I tried to-
Bax: There's no excuses for that! You tanked big time, and if it weren't for you, Juudai may have won!
Juudai: Hey! That's a lie! Uriel was a big help in that battle!
Aria: Yeah- wait, why are you so mad at Uriel just for losing?! Don't you lose as well?
Bax: Yeah, but it's because my opponents are typically skilled! Maruko and Santino were merely stepping stones!
Aria: But that doesn't answer my first question: why are you so mad at Uriel in the first place just for losing?
Bax: Because I want to battle him in the finals! I want to crush him on live TV so the entire world can heed my presence. And maybe, just maybe, will my original group flock back to me, the legendary Snake Lord! (He'd stomp off to the dorm area)
Juudai: What a jerk. I thought he was cool.
Shinito: Yeah, right, Uriel?
Uriel: No. Thanks for supporting me, guys, but he's right. (He'd also head off to the dorm area)
Shinito: He seems sad... about something.
Juudai: Just give him some time. That loss against Maruko probably brought his spirits down, due to him being confident about him winning.
Shinito: I guess that makes sense...
Aria: I hope he gets better-
(Suddenly, Hanami would appear behind the group)
Shinito, Juudai, and Aria: GAH! (They'd all fall back in astonishment) Hanami?
Hanami: In the flesh!
Aria: What are you doing here?
Hanami: Well, I'm just here to tell you all the final match-up for this section of the tournament. So, for the final round... Aria and Nora Soranora will be pitted against Maruko Zamasu and Santino Genji!
Aria: *Gasps* I'm going against that beast?!
Shinito: Uh oh!
Hanami: Yeah, I kinda forgot to announce the matches while everyone was in the colosseum. Sorry!
Aria: Oh, no, you're fine! Hehe.
Hanami: Alright then, you all have fun with that information, and be sure to look forward to the match tomorrow, 'cause it's sure to be a hit! Hanami, out! (He'd run off)
Aria: W-Well, that's just... great!
Shinito: It'll be ok, Aria! We've got the rest of the day to train and prepare!
Juudai: Yeah! And besides, the worst he can throw at you is his new Decimate Wipeout, and we can train to help you endure even that at its strongest!
Shinito: And after Uriel and Juudai's battle against Maruko, I have tons of new information to go over!
Aria: Thanks guys. Let's go head over to Uriel's place, invite him for some practice, and then we'll go from there.
Shinito: Got it!
(They'd head off into the dorm area)
(Meanwhile, in Uriel's bedroom/dormroom)
Uriel: I talked all big, yet I still lost... (He said, placing his beyblade on his nightstand)
(He'd crawl into his bed)
Uriel: Maruko said something about me having something to work for...
Uriel: ...but what do I work for? (He'd question, as he'd turn off the lights and go to bed, with an echoing laugh of Maruko ringing in his head)

also, warning, this episode is quite possibly the longest episode I have ever made

hello everyone, im back, for like the third time. its been a while but for those of you who dont know who i am, im GenesisBlader, formerly BladeKingX, and i made fanfics for a while. schoolwork had caught up to me and I had to quit to catch up, but now im good. thats really all i have to say, and there will also be new episodes every weekend (friday, saturday, and maybe sunday). missed this place
