That's when he realized that you can only get stronger with dark power so he threw everything away and swore revenge. He got his revenge by destroying Apocalypse then he thought he could destroy all beys so he would never be destroyed again. Shu watched this battle and had a brief memory of Lane so he swore that he would drag Harry out of the darkness. But no matter what Harry would never listen
