(A bey bursts)
Hanami: Holy guacamole!! Pam effortlessly wins the 4th match of A group!!
Aiden: That was awesome Pam!!
Pam: Thanks Aiden!
Raina: Aiden, isn’t your match the next?
Aiden: Yup, and I’m going to ace it!
Raina: But it says you’re up against a blader named Baabar! It also says he’s really strong!!
Aiden: It doesn't matter, I'll beat him in seconds!!
Me: You should never take your opponent's as jokes.
Aiden: That’s coming from you?
Me: I know, but I suggest we do some training before your battle!
Aiden: Nope, I’ve got this in the bag!
Hanami: We’ll be continuing our matches tomorrow! And our first match will be Aiden Kusaba Vs Baabar Blakenstone!!
(A tall kid walks up to us)
Baabar: I’m Baabar and I’ve seen all your battles so you should be worried.
Aiden: I’m not, you should get training, kid I’m a tough nut to crack!
Baabar: You’ll eat those words.
(Baabar walks away, Pam walks by Baabar)
Pam: What’s up with him?
Me: He’s mad because Aiden is getting overconfident.
Pam: Wait what?
Raina: *Sighs* We’ll explain on the way back.
~At The Raging Bulls~
Pam: Seriously Aiden, you can’t underestimate him!
Aiden: You’re just saying that because you scared you’re gonna lose to him!
(We walk inside the building)
Raina: I bet that you’re going to lose tomorrow!
Hikaru: Woah, what’s going on?
(I explain to Hikaru and Hyuga what’s going on)
Hikaru: Aiden, you should probably train.
Aiden: Training would be a waste of time!
Hyuga: But you won’t be able to go zoom boom bang!!
Aiden: That’s your thing Hyuga!
(Aiden lays on the coach)
Me: Get up and battle me!!
Aiden: Battle Pam.
Raina: Seriously!!
(Valt walks in the room)
Valt: Yo, what’s going on?
Me: He won’t train!
Raina: And he’s got a match with Baabar tomorrow!
Valt: Baabar?
Me: You know him?
Valt: I don’t know him personally, but he’s a worldwide tournament winner!!
Aiden: Seriously?
Valt: Yup!
Aiden: That should make my victory sweeter!
Pam: Ugh!
Raina: Will you at least battle me?!
Aiden: Nope, gotta save my energy for tomorrow!
All (Except Valt): Get up!!
~In Baabar’s House!
Baabar: Aiden Kusaba’s main strategy is to defend all the way to counter-attack! It’s time to evolve Balkesh!
(Roar Balkesh glimmers back at Baabar, Baabar fires up his Printer)
Baabar: My Balkesh will become the strongest defense type in the world!!
(Baabar starts working on his bey)
~At The Raging Bulls~
Me: Hydro Strike!!
Pam: Feather Storm!!
(Poseidon and Pegasus get sent flying)
Aiden: That’s a draw.
Pam: Stop being so lazy!!
Aiden: It’s not being lazy it's called conserving energy.
Raina: That’s just an excuse not to do anything!!
Me: After looking at some of your battles and what you could work on is your defense--
Aiden: Chill, Ashindra has the best defense ever!
Raina: He’s right you could work on your defense!
Aiden: Trust me, I’ll win this match! No matter what!!
(Shu walks in)
Me: You’re not going to win if you spend all your time sitting on the couch!!
Aiden: I’ve had to tell you guys so many times, don’t worry about it!
Shu: What’s going on?
(We explain what’s going on to Shu)
Shu: Aiden, do you want to battle me on the world stage?
Aiden: Of course!
Shu: Then you’re going to have to train or else you won’t stand a chance!
Aiden: With all due respect Shu, I’m going to win our battle with a burst finish!
Shu: Ok, don’t train.
Aiden: Thank you!
(Shu walks away, I run after him)
Me: Why’d you tell him that?
Shu: Because he’s going to learn eventually that laziness brings you nothing.
~At Baabar’s House~
Baabar: It’s done!! Wicked Balkesh!!
(Baabar holds up Balkesh in the air)
Baabar: With this bey, I’ll defeat Ashindra and become the world’s best blader!!
~The Next Day~
Hanami: Ok all you bladers!! Today we’ll start the B group with a clash of shields!! It’s Noble Ashindra Vs Wicked Balkesh!!
Raina/Me/Pam: Wicked?!
Hanami: That’s right folks! Baabar Blakenstone has evolved his bey!!
Referee: Inspect your opponent’s bey!!
Aiden (Thoughts): Wicked Balkesh, a counterclockwise spinning defense type. It doesn't have any teeth, it only has rubber to protect it from bursting. It has 6 blades to use as defense. This should be easy!
Referee: First battle!! Ready? Set!
All: 3! 2! 1!
Me/Baabar: Let it rip!!
(Baabar pulls off a Beyjitzu Launch)
Aiden: *Gasps*
Hanami: Apparently only Baabar pulls off the Beyjitzu launch!!
(I facepalm)
Raina: That’s what happens when you don’t practice!
Shu: I knew this would happen!
(Balkesh takes the center before Ashidra)
Aiden: *Gasps*
Hanami: Looks like Balkesh takes the center stage!
Aiden: The center is ours!!
(Ashindra hits Balkesh with a barrage of attacks, But they do nothing)
Hanami: Apparently Ashindra attacks are wimpy!
Baabar: You were bragging about this?!
Aiden: We’ve got more!!
(Ashindra catches onto the motorized rim and flies in the air to attack Ashindra)
Aiden: Orbit Counter!!
(Ashindra hits Balkesh with a strong blow, 6 blades come out of Balkesh)
Aiden: *Gasps*
Hanami: Apparently 6 blades just popped out of Balkesh!!
Aiden: What was that!!
Baabar: When Balkesh takes enough damage 6 blades come out to make a more circle-like to amp its defense!!
Aiden: I don’t care! Again!! Orbit Counter!!
Hanami: Ashindra gears up for a huge counterstrike!!
Baabar: Balkesh!!
(Baabar’s Resonance Aura flares up Balkesh blazes out of the bey)
Aiden: It’s over!!
(Ashindra hits Balkesh hard, Balkesh catches onto the motorized rim)
Baabar: Corrupt Crash!!
(Balkesh picks up speed and crashes into Ashindra, Ashindra bursts)
Aiden: *Gasps*
Referee: It’s Wicked Balkesh with a burst finish!! The winner is Baabar Blakestone!!
Baabar: That was pathetic.
(Baabar picks up his bey and leaves)
Hanami: I can’t believe it! Balkesh used Ashindra’s counterattack to create its own counterattack!!
(Aiden picks up Ashindra’s parts and leaves, We meet Aiden in the hallway)
Raina: He was right, that was a pathetic battle.
(Aiden’s hair shadows his eyes)
Me: If you would’ve practiced you would’ve probably won.
Pam: You couldn’t even pull off a Beyjitzu Launch.
Shu: I told you “You won’t achieve anything with laziness” but you wouldn’t listen.
Aiden: I’m sorry.
(Tears start dropping out of Aiden’s face slowly)
Aiden: I should’ve listened to you, but instead I was lazy, now I’ll never become a world-ranked blader!
Me: It’s all good pal!
Raina: Don’t worry, you’ll become a world-ranked blader someday.
Pam: She’s right, you’ve got this man!
(Aiden raises his head)
Aiden: I’ll never be lazy again!! I’ll always give it my all no matter what!!
(Shu smiles)
All: Don’t worry, we’ll always be helping you out!!
