nice concept..i like the generator concept..
but..if i am correct..due to heat..rubber will be much softer..isnt it will cause rubber to worn faster?

This contest is really lacking entries right now, usually we would have at least twenty by now. I hope everyone is just waiting for a date closer to the deadline to post their Beyblade. Come on, we are giving you the possibility to create any type of Beyblade from any series, and this Face Contest started when school had not even started yet !

Really? In that case I really feel bad about the fact that I wasn't a member at the time of the previous Design Contest.... I thought every design contest had quite a few entries... Reading your post, I checked the closed threads forum and saw one of the design contests. Man! The entries were so good!

some are even nicer then mine isnt it?
hahaha
Cyclone-Great idea, dude! But to be honest, even though its a good idea, its-
1. Not really space related...
2. Quite unrealistic.
This may cost you, IMO.

Your's is very good Cyclone!

Seriously?Where have you been?
Here is my entry:

Beyblade details -

Name: Rupestral Canis DRB145 WS
Type: Counter Defense
Series: Metal Fusion - Hybrid Wheel System (HWS)
Weight: 54.12g
Spin: Left (main spin)/Right
Launcher: L/R

Parts -

Clear Wheel: Canis (2.7g) (Click to View)
Metal Wheel: Rupestral (46.0g) (Click to View)
Spin Track: DRB145 (Dual Rubber Blocks 145) (3.50g) (Click to View)
Performance Tip: WS (Wide Sphere) (0.92g) (Click to View)
ASSEMBLED: Rupestral Canis DRB145 WS (Click to View)

Descriptions -

Face Bolt: Depicts "Canis Major", one of the 88 constellations in space. 'Canis Major' Its name is Latin for 'greater dog'. The Face Bolt has a dim-grey background, and has 'Canis' printed in dark Goldenrod, Glowing-blue, Black color, shaped as it is 'pouncing'.
Clear Wheel: Is dark Goldenrod in color. The shape is Rupestral. Has an anti-clockwise "Canis" on both sides; left and right.
Metal Wheel: Is an Enormous, dark Grey in color. A Rupestral round shape, with two lapping-out Metal-Rubber Blocks.
Spin Track: Similar to the track '145'. Is dark Goldenrod in color. Has two Plastic-Rubber Blocks around the track. Height is same as track '145'.
Performance Tip: Similar to the performance tip 'WB'. Is dark Grey in color. Has a Wide Sphere.

Abilities -

Metal Wheel: 'Rupestral round shape'; for hard-smashing defense and balance. 'Two lapping-out Metal-Rubber Blocks'; steals the opponent-Bey's spin (both spins) and counter attacks (only in left spin).
Spin Track: 'Two Plastic-Rubber Blocks'; provides an affective defense with balance, for low-hits, smash attacks and such.
Performance Tip: 'Wide Sphere'; gives a wobbling-defense as the Bey loses its spin velocity, and provides an extra stamina with balance while the Bey wobbles.
Left Spin: Main spin; counter-attack, defense. The two lapping-out Metal-Rubber Blocks gives the Bey ability to counter-attack.
Right Spin: Only Defense; no counter-attack. Without the Left Spin vs Right Spin's clash, the Bey cannot counter attack all the time, like it can in the Left Spin mode.

I dont mean to be rude here, i could be wrong but all these pieces look like you ripped them, photo-shopped them and slightly modified them.

Wouldn't a sphere and a ball be the same thing?
LOL.That looks like a beat Lynx.Just to me though, but not on others opinion.Just the CW and MW.

Halelujah!
IKR I thought the same thing...
my comment: uuuhhh well its not really very original is it I mean the track is just 145 and some weird cement type thingys
the Face is great but the rest is just a photo shopped beat lynx...
That CW's shape also is very much like the shape of Gemios.
Mines a work in process. I'm going to leave it to the last minute (not because I want to see everyone else's I honestly need to work on it until the last minute). My drawing is a little sloppy even after trying to do it so many time. Anyways you'll see it soon.

BTW I see that many have done BeyWiki articles. Will that in anyway affect the judging? I can give a slight description of the part and how it works but I will honestly have no idea how good a couple of my parts would actually be if created.
well it might if the description is really good, but the bey is probably the main part
It was more directed towards a mod like Kai-V so I can get a definite answer.

I say it's a Beat Lynx 145 WB. Photoshopped. Sigh...

It is just that you would write the same as what you would in a Beywiki article : what the part consists of and what it does. However, in previous contests people did not do that and it was completely fine. For instance, you could make a rubber-coated Track and just make sure we understand it from your drawing, but we can figure out what that does in battle, you do not have to explain it thoroughly.

1. I thought my "thinking process" was enough to explain my bey belongs to the right theme indeed.

2. I absolutely not agree with that:
- I just wrote a large description of my parts to be sure everyone would find it realistic, and to let you understand my theories.
- And which part is unrealistic then you though?
Well, G145 is unrealistic...
C'mon, its kinda a fact. TT would never make a heat-producing bey IMO.
Like I said in my article, it needs more testings
but I actually think it is realistic, but of course I am not sure
I am not a physicist.
Although the recent entries have very nice illustration, you guys have to realize that this is a Space styled contest.
yeah i've noticed that, i mean the beys are good, the drawings i mean, but the actual designs are very good (not everyones)
after reading the last replies, I concluded that some of you still don't understand that my bey belongs to the "space" theme.
So I have another few arguments to confirm this :

1. I think you don't know what the word "space" actually means, it is not only the universe it is a lot more abstract. The sky for example is also "space". And where you think "Aeolus" lived according to the old Greeks? Not in a treehouse or something!

2. If some of you are still not confinced, I say that my bey has a lot more of the "space theme" than some others because it doesn't only have a name of the "space theme" (which some of you still not believe), it can (probably) behave like a flying saucer, which has always been my goal, and that's a lot more important than its name! Just name it the "Space Ranger" or whaterver you want, a name is just a name!

I hope all of you understand it now Wink
yes, buuuut, in comparison to others, not much of it is related to space, example:

most beys have been called space related things. also i'm pretty sure thats not the ype of space Kai-V was thinking of (correct me if i'm wrong Kai-V)
ALRIGHT!Is it a Space as in Outer Space or Space as in an openning space? Is that what you guys are trying to figure out,its probably both.
I already specified that space is the space when you turn your head to the clear sky at night and that you look at "Space".
I think the general idea was outer space as Kai-V said about stars in the first post
So its Outer Space where there is shooting stars and the moon, hope everyone understands.
