Energy Layer - Cho-Z Spriggan

Quote:Cho-Z Spriggan is Balance type Cho-Z Awaken System Layer.
Middle on this layer is golden X like a Spriggan Requiem. Base colors is golden and red. Left up and right down is red "teeths" with black stickers. Left down and right up is Spriggan face, where is blue eyes. Up and down is golden with some stickers.
This layer special ability is dual spin, like a Sr. As a part of the Cho-Z Awaken System, Cho-Z Spriggan is overpowered, what increase burst risk. Unlike the other Cho-Z / Cho-Z Awaken System Beyblade, Cho-Z Spriggan has no metal. Up and down of this layer, is teeths, what can come out during the battle.
Umm....Cho-z spriggan features metal in his design!He is part of the Cho-z awakening system.The two silver horns on spriggan's head are made out of metal.

Actually, the only metal on Cho Z Spriggan is the yellow painted metal in the middle of the bey.

Cho-Z Spriggan is a Balance Type Energy Layer that features rounded left and right sides, two heads, meant to represent the Layer's Japanese namesake; a spriggan, a legendary beast of Cornish Faery Lore. Unlike the other Cho-Z / Cho-Z Awaken System Beyblade, Cho-Z Spriggan have metal only on center X. Like its predecessor Spriggan Requiem, Cho-Z Spriggan is a Dual-Spin Layer with two sets of teeth on the Japanese release for Right-Spin Mode and-Left Spin Mode.

Due to the Dual-Spin Gimmick, recoil between the opponent and Cho-Z Spriggan can be increased or reduced depending on the Layer's setting and the opponent's spin direction. While the asymmetrical design may imply different performance depending on spin direction, Cho-Z Spriggan's rounded design makes little to no discernible difference between Right-Spin Mode and Left-Spin Mode. Due to the high friction rubber parts, Cho-Z Spriggan is capable of Spin Equalization with an Opposite-Spin opponent, allowing a Cho-Z Spriggan Combination to Out Spin its opponent depending on the Performance Tip, Disc and/or Frame used.

The thickness and thus weight of the Layer creates high inertia and Outward Weight Distribution which increases the Stamina, KO resistance and Burst resistance of the Layer, making Cho-Z Spriggan a Top-Tier choice for Defense and Stamina Combinations.

However, like Spriggan Requiem, in order to facilitate the Dual-Spin gimmick, two of the teeth on each set are made to the thickness of those found on Single Layers, meaning that the first two teeth on each set will wear down fairly quickly. Due to this, it is recommended to have multiple copies of this Layer and to be prepared to replace it.

==Overall==
Cho-Z Spriggan is good layer of Stamina and Defense combos.
Thanks for creator of Spryzen Requiem S3 article. I copied some parts from this.

Quote:Cho Z Spriggan released as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho Zetsu Awakening System. It debuted with the release of the B-128 Cho – Z Customize set –Cho –Z  Spriggan 0Wall Zeta’ on November 17, 2018.
==Description==
Cho Z Spriggan is a Balance Type Energy Layer featuring 2 Axe like like Blades, which features faces on them which are meant to represent the Layer's Japanese namesake; Spriggans, monsters of Cornish Faery Lore, and the center of the Layer features a large double bladed ax, meant to represent the weapon of the anime's rendition of this Layer's beast. Being a Part of Cho Z/Cho Z Kakusei System, Cho Z spriggan features metal in center, making it heavier than most of the God/Evolution beys. Cho Z Spriggan Also Has Features twp Gimmicks, It can Dual Spin Like it's predecessor, Legend Spriggan and Spriggan Requim and being Part of Cho Z Kakusei system, It has Burst stoppers.
Being Dual Spin Cho Z Spriggan Increase or decrease recoil base on Mode it's set upto, However due to fairly rounded Design, It's Only makes the bey diffenciable in Stamina or LAD based matchups. Because of this, it is recommended to set the Layer to spin opposite to the opponent to maximize Defense and Stamina potential as there is too little recoil for Attack potential.
Cho Z Spriggan's Burst Stoppers are in form of 4 clip like structures, 2 for each spin direction, aided on either sides of the two blades, In order to prevent Burst in both spin direction. The Burst Stoppers Come in act, when The layer is launched fast enough to pull out the springs, in a postion where the clips slide to launcher prong slot, preventing the disc prongs go further in the slot to burst, making the beyblade burst resistant. The Springs' housing made to aid Stoppers, make the layer fairly thick, Giving High defence and stamina potential, as well central metal increasing weight.
The Teethset is made of ABS plastic, unlike PLA os other Layers, As the Dual Spin teeth set is prone to wear out. However, Like other Dual Spin teeth similar to Spriggan Requim, Teeth wearing is still present, reducing performance drastically incase of slow launch, where Burst Stopper do not come in act.
==Overall==
Dual Spin And Good weight distribution on the layer makes the layer versatile, and Burst Stoppers negligentes the risk of performance degrade after teeth wear. HOwever Due to less amount of metal in the center, CHo Z Spriggan in outclassed in terms of weight, but Versatile nature makes up for that.
As Such, Cho Z spriggan Is not a Must have, still can be a Great addition to Blader's collection.
Decided to do it

==Using in Defense/Stamina Combinations==
Cho-Z Spriggan can be use in Defense/Stamina Combinations Cho-Z Spriggan 0/00/4/5/7 Wall/Bump/Expand Bearing/Eternal/Atomic/Friction. Heavy weight of 0/00/4/5/7 Wall/Bump/Expand creates high Knock-Out resistance, rounded shape of Cho-Z Spriggan creates high Burst resistance. Bearing/Eternal/Atomic/Friction bolsters Combination Stamina and Defense.

Note: Attack combos Disk frame suggestion is based from testing.

Cho-Z Spriggan is a Balance Type Energy Layer that features an overall round perimeter with large gaps and two heads, meant to represent the Layer's Japanese namesake; a spriggan, a legendary beast of Cornish Faery Lore, and a large double bladed axe that goes from the center to the perimeter. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Cho-Z Achilles features metal in its design; in this case, concentrated in the center in the form of a "Metal God Chip", akin to its predecessors Legend Spriggan and Spriggan Requiem. Cho-Z Spriggan also features gimmicks:

Like its predecessors, Legend Spriggan and Spriggan Requiem, Cho-Z Spriggan is a Dual Spin Layer with two sets of teeth on the Japanese release for Right-Spin Mode and Left-Spin Mode.

Like other Layers with the "Cho-Z" prefix, Cho-Z Spriggan features an anti-Bursting mechanism called the "Cho-Z Awakening System".

At high spin velocity, the centrifugal force activates a bistable mechanism, revealing sub wings called the "Cho-Z Wings" and in turn extending Burst-stopping tabs in the grooves meant to fit the prongs of the Disc. The burst-stoppers then obstruct the Disc, preventing the loss of the last click and preventing the Cho-Z Spriggan combination from Bursting. Due to the bistable mechanism the wings and tabs do not retract when spin speeds are low and must be manually pushed in after every match, the mechanism also allows the gimmick to work as intended.

Due to the Layer's Dual Spin nature, there are two sets of "Cho-Z Wings" and only one set will activate for each spin direction as the starting position of the Disc will obstruct the other set. However, due to the bistable mechanism, Cho-Z Spriggan requires rather extreme spin speeds for the gimmick to activate which may be difficult for younger bladers.

Due to the Dual-Spin Gimmick, recoil between the opponent and Cho-Z Spriggan can be increased or reduced depending on the Layer's setting and the opponent's spin direction. Furthermore, Cho-Z Spriggan's points of contact are nearly identical between Right-Spin Mode and Left-Spin Mode, creating little to no discernible difference between the two.

While the blades of Cho-Z Spriggan in either spin direction are nearly identical to the blades of Legend Spriggan's Right-Spin mode, Cho-Z Spriggan exhibits poor Attack potential. Due to the position of the "Cho-Z Awakening" gimmick, the blades are positioned on top of the Layer, and due to the Layer's thickness, the blades rarely, if ever, come into contact with the opponent. Furthermore, when the gimmick is activated, the Cho-Z Wings cover up half of the gaps between the blades, further reducing Attack potential.

As such, Cho-Z Spriggan is better suited for Spin-Equalization combinations and, like its predecessor Spriggan Requiem, it is recommended to set the Layer to spin opposite to the opponent to maximize Defense and Stamina potential as there is too little recoil for Attack potential.

However, like its predecessors Legend Spriggan and Spriggan Requiem, in order to facilitate the Dual-Spin gimmick, two of the teeth on each set are made to the thickness of those found on Single Layers, meaning that the first two teeth on each set will wear down fairly quickly. Due to this, it is recommended to have multiple copies of this Layer and to be prepared to replace it.

==Use in Defense/Stamina Spin Equalization Combinations
Cho-Z Spriggan can be used in the Defense/Stamina Combination Cho-Z Spriggan 0/00/10 Wall/Lift/Turn/Expand Bearing. The low recoil of Cho-Z Spriggan is bolstered by the heavy weight of 0/00/10 Wall/Lift/Turn and the Stamina of Bearing is bolstered by the Stamina of 10. When spinning opposite to the opponent, the low friction of Bearing allows for high amounts of Spin-Equalization while Bearing's high Life-After-Death with Wall/Lift/Turn allows the Combination of Out Spin the opponent.

==Overall==
Cho-Z Spriggan's round shape, heavy weight, Spin-Equalization potential, strong teeth, Dual-Spin nature and gimmick would make this Layer a top-tier choice for Defense and Stamina Combinations. However, Cho-Z Spriggan is outclassed in both Left-Spin Spin-Equalization and Stamina by Hell Salamander and outclassed in Right-Spin Stamina by Archer Hercules.

As such, Cho-Z Spriggan is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to any blader's collection.

Okay what the [CENSORED] is going on? For fun I decided to put Cho-Z Spriggan 10Wall Bearing against Hell Salamander 10 Atomic/Eternal/Xtend+ and Archer Hercules Outer Xtend+.

Cho-Z Spriggan then won every single time

Might need to redo the Overall section after more testing. Cause I've been beating Archer Hercules and Hell Salamander with Cho-Z Spriggan

==Overall==
Cho-Z Spriggan's round shape, heavy weight, Spin-Equalization potential, strong teeth, Dual-Spin nature and gimmick makes this Layer a top-tier choice for Defense and Stamina Combinations, able to match and exceed Archer Hercules and Hell Salamander in opposite spin match-ups. Furthermore, with the addition of the "Cho-Z Awakening" gimmick, Cho-Z Spriggan will never be at the risk of Bursting, even when launched at the spin speeds needed to activate the gimmick.

As such, Cho-Z Spriggan is a must have for competitive bladers.

Looked back at the Cho-Z Spriggan testing thread and did my own side testing. It's on par with Archer Hercules and Hell Salamander
