Event Guide for Parents with Children under the age of 13:
Parent's Guide (Click to View)
1) A guardian must remain with your child at all times as in compliance with California law. The ONLY exceptions to this are:
1. You are playing in the tournament yourself and your match conflicts with your child’s, and then we ask that your child understand they should ask for the assistance of the extra judge at their or your station to walk them over to you or their match.
2. If you need to use the bathroom please keep staff in the loop so we can actively keep an eye on your child until you return.
2) The following are expectations we have for everyone, but some children need extra assistance with following. We do provide extra lenancy for children around some of these items:
1. Our stadium stands require being comfortable launching over a height of 38 inches. While this has not posed an issue for most children, if you fear it may be for yours we ask you bring a step stool you are comfortable with and know can safely hold their body weight. We are not able to provide these due to the differences in height and weight required to be safe for every child.
2. No one should lean over the stadium at any time. Beyblades can and do pop out and we want to avoid someone getting hit seriously.
3. No one should grab their beyblade before the judge calls the match. This is a serious offense which results in the other blader being awarded the maximum number of points possible(3). A repeated instance will be a disqualification from the event. We are willing to provide children with a first warning before implementing the above two remedies.
4. At all times you must remain at your match. If your child is wandering away from their matches it's going to be a three strikes and you're out situation. Everyone should be fully invested in their own matches only while they are happening.
5. We will cover sportsmanship in our review of the rules, but we ask that parents help their children practice good sportsmanship at all times. We understand a child may get emotional after a match and may not be up for a handshake and that is OK, but there is a line before, during, and after a match that if crossed repeatedly we will have to ask you to be done competing for the day and disqualify your child. This is something we have never had to do, but the line has been danced with more times than we would like.
NorCal Rankings & League
This tournament will be counted for the Norcal Rankings & League!
Northern California Organizers are teaming up to bring local organized play to the next level! We will have seasonal rankings. While local ranking will be determined and inputted into a custom spreadsheet, ranked tournaments will also still count for the WBO Leaderboard on challonge. The WBO Challonge leaderboard is separate from the NorCal League leaderboard. Some events will be casual tournaments that are affiliated or promoted by the league but will not count towards league rankings, but still may count for WBO Leaderboard.
Join us for our second official season this spring from April to June.
Climb those rankings and prove you are the very best in NorCal!

Become an Official WBO and NorCal League Judge!
We have seen an explosive growth in our local beyblade community. Tournaments are popping up all over the region, however we need more judges to run more high quality events. Not only would becoming a judge help us to continue to grow our community, Judges also get certain perks. This is a big responsibility as you would hold a leadership role in our community and this is taken very seriously.
If you would like to become a WBO Official Judge follow the link or click the button below to check out the process. To be a NorCal League Judge you must first pass the WBO test and be approved by NorCal Organized Play by reaching out on NorCal League Discord.
1st Step: Be on the NorCal League Discord
2nd Step: Have a WBO Account
