"Duality"
Hush now; let my white wings sing you to sleep
Detach; there's nothing but the two of us here
And in your fevered dreams you and I will reap
The person you kept locked away in fear
As you stumble down the dark, blackened hall
Into the depths of your malleable mind
Your pale, feeble hands reach out for the walls
Whose comfort you now cannot seem to find
But there she lays, radiant among the dark;
Suddenly the room is filled with bright light
Her gentle voice crawling toward you; hark
So that the both of you may at once take flight
Upon my frayed, tattered and molting wings
On a voyage toward the blistering sun
Whose rays will fuse two separate beings
Light and dark; coalescing into one
Hush now; let my white wings sing you to sleep
Detach; there's nothing but the two of us here
And in your fevered dreams you and I will reap
The person you kept locked away in fear
As you stumble down the dark, blackened hall
Into the depths of your malleable mind
Your pale, feeble hands reach out for the walls
Whose comfort you now cannot seem to find
But there she lays, radiant among the dark;
Suddenly the room is filled with bright light
Her gentle voice crawling toward you; hark
So that the both of you may at once take flight
Upon my frayed, tattered and molting wings
On a voyage toward the blistering sun
Whose rays will fuse two separate beings
Light and dark; coalescing into one
